Sol Bowls

Sol Bowls is always a favorite stop for us! I get the signature Sol Bowl every time, and I’m obsessed, I didn’t think I’d like the almond butter, but I LOVE it. Everything is quick, fresh, and looks just as good as it tastes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. My kids think of it as their “healthy ice cream bowl” and get so excited to come here. The cute decor, books, and little play car are such a nice touch too. We always look forward to stopping by whenever we visit EI!

Absolutely enjoyed our first time here! Coffee, acai bowl, and avocado toast were all amazing! Staff were welcoming, and the owner made a point to thank you for coming! We will be back for sure!

The Blue Wave Offshore bowl was delicious. I highly recommend this place as it has a cool vibe and the owner was very friendly and welcoming.

This was my first time ever trying an açaí bowl and I was immediately hooked! It was so refreshingly delicious that I found myself going back the very next day for another one while on our family vacation! The atmosphere is cute and we even saw them unloading all the boxes of fruit from the truck so you know the produce was fresh. Don’t miss a stop to try this out!

I'm so glad this place is in EI! The best coffee on the whole island (if not the whole OBX). I'm very particular about my coffee and usually make my coffee at home, but Sol Bowls has really delicious espresso drinks! Their cold brew (high tide) is absolutely the best cold brew I've ever had! It's so smooth and flavorful! The high tide is also a visually stunning drink! I also tried the avocado toast and acai bowls, which are both satisfying and a healthier option compared to a lot of the other food options on the island. The decor is also really cute! I love the plants. 💙

Wholesome visit to Solbowls in Emerald Isle, such a clean happy vibe..food was delicious and REAL. Staff and owners were wonderful! So good we had to come back every morning we were here to try something new!

This little shop is super cute! Staff was very friendly and helpful, it took a little while to get our food just because it was Labor Day weekend and it was packed out the door. The açaí bowls were very good and the amount of fresh fruit in there was nice. I also ordered the iced caramel macchiato, good coffee flavor, not too sweet!

really good bowls, cute place where u can pick up a souvenir or 2. i ordered a couple bowls and enjoyed each one. i would not order a matcha just yet as they seemed super new to making them and mine came out almost white in color-- but the other drinks we got were great. plenty of vegan options. seems VERY popular on the weekends!

The bowls are filled with super fresh ingredients and the high tide signature iced coffee is a must try. The shop itself is super cute beachside vibe and staff were friendly and welcoming. I was here for the holiday weekend and wanted to make this my breakfast stop each day so good!

It doesn't get any better than this. If you're looking for an amazing snack or breakfast, this is the spot for you. ***LOCATION*** This beachcore health food shop is located in a tiny strip mall in Emerald Isle. You can bike there and enter from the bike path (there is a bike rack) or you can drive and park your car in the lot in the back. ***EXPERIENCE*** We came here because my friend's Mom adores this spot. It's a local spot that uses the best and most delicious ingredients. You can guarantee quality here. There is a lot of seating available inside and some spots outside. This place gets packed, but it's totally worth the wait. You order and pay up front then wait for them to call your name. I'm very picky with my acai bowls, I find that some places make them more smoothie and watery. I love it when they're rich and thick. Sol Bowls makes sorbet style bases which is why I'm so in love with what they make. I highly recommend ordering the Sol Bowl (I added cocoa nibs and coconut) or the Shore Break (if you prefer coconut sorbet with pineapple and spirulina instead of acai). Don't be deceived by how small the small size looks. It definitely looks like a lid, but it is still extremely filling. My only note is it would be nice to have a bigger small bowl (with the same current portion size) just to make scooping easier. If you want to add anything, I highly recommend adding almond butter to your bowls, it's a nice savory addition to all the sweet things inside. My friends loved the drip coffee and latte they ordered. I wasn't too crazy about the matcha, but once I mixed it more it was pretty good. ***PRICE*** The small bowls start at $9 with an added $1 for any additional topping you want to add. ***CONCLUSION*** If you're looking to feel tropical and beachy, I highly recommend eating the rainbow at Sol Bowls. Their bowls are so refreshing and beyond perfect for beach life.

Sol Bowls is an adorable coastal spot for great smoothies, açaí smoothie bowls, coffee and more. The staff are personable, friendly and helpful. You definitely get that locally owned small business feel from here. Not only is it adorable, it's delicious. Everything I've tried was incredible. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY GO HERE!!! Everything about this place was great. I got a Pumpkin flavored Latte (decaf no less!) and it was PERFECT. Not overly sweet like so many places do. More is NOT always better! For my breakfast, I picked the Pier Bowl and it was both extremely tasty and also very filling (smaller size). I'll agree that they're a bit pricey, but they're using quality ingredients here. You get what you pay for... The service was quick, on point, AND friendly. The decor and atmosphere of the place just really fits the bowls/smoothies vibe. Lots of plants and decorated really cute. They've even got some local vendors' stuff for sale. Love it!

The food was awesome,they had smoothies, açaí bowls, muffins and many other options! the service was immaculate you could also watch them make it! the places to sit there are cool you can also read a book!

So good! Delicious açaí bowls with fresh fruit toppings and granola. They also have smoothies. There's something for everyone here - our toddler finished an entire smoothie on his own. The staff are so nice and helpful. Open and airy inside with some cute clothes and jewelry to purchase from local vendors. There's also some picnic benches out front if you want to eat outdoors. We stopped by for breakfast, but this would also be perfect after a day at the beach or an great alternative to grabbing some ice cream! So excited for this addition to the Island!

Absolutely delicious with incredibly friendly staff. The coconut was my favorite but everyone in our party loved what they ordered (avocado toast, parfait, Açaí) -- I can't wait to make this an annual vacation stop. The ambiance is so fun with indoor and outdoor seating and space for kids to play, our whole family are fans.

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach. Inside is very clean and nice. We had the Sol Bowl and the Good Life. Both were excellent and we loved the combinations. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite.

Absolutely delicious! A great find, fantastic toasts and coffee! My son and husbands loved their bowls and smoothies as well! Chill spot for hanging out with lots of seating indoors and out. Loved the coffee mug wall for grab and stay/go, very lovely! Is definitely pricey, a bit more than we would spend normally but for a breakfast out on vacation we didn't mind. Would love to see some "kid size" options so people don't have waste. My kiddo couldn't finish the small bowl or one size smoothie.

I've never had an Açaí bowl before but have wanted to try one for a while. Soooo glad I gave this place a try. The owner is so friendly and eager to help in any way. She recommended the bowl that the whole place is named after and it was so good. My brother got an iced latte and it was delicious too. She has a little tikes car and a little bike for kids to ride around inside and the decor is so cute. Definitely a place to return to!

Before we walked the beach we came to this hole in the wall açaí bowl place for a quick and easy snack. We picked up two acai bowls (Sol,Pier) to go. There is a multiple little benches to wait for your bowl, definitely beach themed. The base of the bowl leaned more dense smoothie like rather than a creamy ice cream like consistency. We found the toppings to be the perfect amount. The strawberries were sweet and added nut butter tasted phenomenal. The serving size was SPOT ON, definitely filling enough for a light bite but not enough to be be shy taking your shirt off on the beach. My wife and I will definitely be back very soon!

What a gem of a spot! Great addition to the area! The atmosphere is laid back and beachy cool and the food is fresh and tasty! We will be back!

I live in Jacksonville, but I'm in the area very frequently. To be honest, I don't look in this little strip very often, but noticed new Sol Bowls. Looked at their site and decided to stop in for a treat. The place looks awesome! The vibe is great, the customer service was good, and the bowl was yummy! They closed while I was eating inside and one of the girls assured me that I could continue enjoying my time because it takes them a while to close up. That was very thoughtful. I got the Good Vibes, which is a Pitaya base, and it was wonderful. First time having that. Next time I'll try a different base so I can see which is my favorite. My son has celiac disease and also can't have dairy, so it's hard to find treats for him when we go out. Can't wait to bring him here and him be able to order whatever! So happy to have this addition in EI. Great place for me to bring visitors too. It was a little pricy for me personally because I watch the budget, but it was really good, and I'll be glad to come back.

The food is good they give you a hefty amount of fruit which is great. I would recommend getting the smallest size for individuals as the larger size bowl will melt before you get home. The service is nice. It can get a bit crowded there but it is a new place. It is not overbearingly loud and they play music.

I went at about 10am kind of busy, got the good vibes one and it was delicious , the service was a little slow but that's ok because it was all fresh.
