Sol Mexican Cocina Is Now Open on the Las Vegas Strip - Eater Vegas

"Sol Mexican Cocina is now open inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The Baja-style restaurant is serving coastal Mexican favorites like duck tacos, ceviche, and grilled elote corn inside a breezy and open restaurant space. The dining room opens to a bar with lounge seating in shades of beige and black. Inside, the ceiling is draped in cool tan sheets, swaying over the restaurant’s centerpiece, a boulder with a sculpture made of tree boughs and fabric. The menu spans more traditional Mexican favorites to modern takes, like the Vampiro chicken taco, with chicken and chiles encased in a quesadilla, rather than an individual tortilla. The Canarditas duck combines deep-fried duck leg confit with tequila-laced blackberry serrano salsa. An appetizer of grilled street corn is presented tableside, where a server shaves sweet kernels off a cob, into a bowl of sauce and spices, ready to be scooped up with crispy seasoned tortilla rounds. And the Spanish octopus is impossibly tender, combined with spicy sauce and fingerling potatoes. For dessert, there’s a warm and surprisingly fluffy churro served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The beverage menu highlights the restaurant’s hand-crafted margaritas along with over 100 mezcal and tequila-focused cocktails. Some cocktails are made with Bruno Mars’ SelvaRey line of rum, like the Cold Bruno espresso martini that Mars helped develop. Other drinks are made with Cardi B’s Whipshots booze-infused whipped cream. A cocktail called the Chainsmoker uses the DJ duo’s tequila brand to create a cocktail that overflows with smoke. Sol, from the Southern California-based Xperience Restaurant Group is located inside the space previously occupied by Border Grill, near RPM Italian. It’s open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday." - Janna Karel

We went here because Mexican sounded good and we were hungry. What a find! The server and staff were over-the-top friendly, helpful, and had great recommendations. I can take a lot of heat but they recommended on one dish to get the hot sauce on the side (which I normally politely ignore) but I did and it was a good thing. The chips/tortillas are fresh and all the flavors were amazing. They also made a great spicy margarita.

Google
A fantastic experience start to finish. I would recommend the coconut calamari and the Chef’s special they were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The staff was super kind and friendly. Our waiter was great at helping make suggestions as to some of his favorite things on the menu, and thank goodness because everything sounded good and it was tough to pick something. If you want Mexican food that on the fancier side, I would recommend going here and trying it out.

We just recently had dinner at SOL and I gotta say our experience was great. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and taken to our seats. Peter Maldonado the general manager asked if we wanted to seat near the music or not, I thought that was very considerate. He proceeded to recommend cocktails and appetizers. Which were amazing! So, thank you Peter for your amazing suggestions. Our server Jesse also did an amazing job at keeping our waters refilled and taking our order in a timely manner. So, the service was superb. The food was also more than amazing. Since we had never been there. We tried a couple of things. Like the ceviche, the queso fundido, both which were really tasty and flavorful! We order the vampiro taco and the shrimp taco, both were amazing. Cocktails, we had el mezcalero which was very good. And the jalapeño and Cucumber margarita which surprisingly was not hot but very refreshing with a hint of spice. Very very good! For dessert we had a tres leches cake and trust me, you'll want to try this. 😋 Overall our experience was great, we had great food and drinks. Excellent service and also great live music! I recommend this highly!

Google
The overall vibe is very chic and comfortable. There was a wide selection of margaritas which I absolutely loved! The server was extremely attentive & friendly. I ordered the steak & eggs which was pretty good. Slightly better than average. I would definitely return and try something new on their menu.

Walked over from Bellagio based on the good reviews. Start to finish, everything was great. The coconut calamari appetizer is awesome and enough for 2 couples to share. We shared tacos and a burrito. Salma our server was the best! Great attention to details and super friendly and personable. There was a spilled drink on our table and she was just great about getting it squared away!

Google
What a find! The complimentary tacos and salsa were such a great start. House Marg was refreshing and the Grande is a perfect size, tip - get one to go! Carne Asada Street Tacos so flavourful, perfect portion size and the side beans and rice were both excellent. Try the Coconut Calamari, arrived as fillets with a spicy dipping sauce instead of the traditional style and it so works! It was so good! A fantastic experience start to finish.

Google
I have so much to say about this place. The service could be better, but out of the 3 times we went it was really only one time that we had an issue. However, the food was extremely good. From the chips, to the ceviche, to the carnitas and beef rib…. Just wow! Make this a stop for dinner regardless of where you’re staying on the strip!

We stop by to have a drink. The server was very helpful and attentive. My friend and I ordered a watermelon margarita. Delicious and perfect on the alcohol. We also got street corn. Amazing !! There tostadas and dips are amazing as well. Definitely recommended

Yelp
I was walking around The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and came upon SOL Mexican Cocina inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace Level 1 near the spiral escalator. We stopped here and were seated right away and had lunch. This was the best decision we made in Las Vegas. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Complimentary large chips and two salsas were brought to our table first. I preferred the regular salsa over the bean salsa. The server also bought a small tray with salt, hot sauce, and lime to the table and said we can use it as we like. With Yelp check-in, there is an offer for 1 free appetizer with any purchase. This was an amazing offer! We had the guacamole sol which has guacamole, mango, tequila, onion, goat cheese, pepitas, tomato & cilantro. The large chips returned and it was great with the guacamole. The guacamole was fresh and very tasty. For entree, I had a filet and shrimp 'el jefe" specialty taco which had blue corn tortilla, grilled angus filet, 2 agave-chile shrimp, melted cheese, avocado, and roasted green Chile salsa. For $5 extra, I added the borracho black beans and red rice. The flavors were spot on and the dish was super filling. SOL Mexican Cocina is a great place if you are looking for a place to get the most bang out of your buck and for yummy food.

Yelp

Yelp
Wow, maybe one of my best experiences. Single traveler for work looking for a good lunch. Came in and was blown away by service, drinks, and food! I regret not asking my server's name, but he was fantastic. Answered all questions, immediately understood what I was looking for, and made terrific recommendations. My drink was great. Excellent taste, strength, and quantity. Food was amazing. The tostada chips, salsa and mole(I think?) were really good. I ordered two specialty tacos my server recommended, El Jefe and a Vampiro with asada. The Vampiro was excellent, a really top notch loaded taco. But El Jefe (shrimp and fish fillet) was one of the best things I've ever eaten! Really great random stop I won't forget. Please go if you're even a little interested!

Yelp
2/4/24 Sunday 3pm. Expired Yelp check-in, see picture. The manager honored it, thank you. Quality/Quantity - Came here for Happy Hour, like many of the other people here, but they did NOT honor it... See picture. We stayed, but the other couple left. Then another couple that came in also asked about the happy hour and when they were told none on Sunday, they left also. Please take down your sign or improve the verbiage for all of us to understand it better. We got the rotating local selection - Sierra Nevada Hazy IPA. This is local??? This is from Chico... Anyways, you can never go wrong with a Sierra Nevada or two. Complimentary chips - These were good also. You can tell they are made in house. Two salsas; bean and regular. My buddy and I both liked the regular. See pictures. Too bad we were both so full that we were only able to eat two chips each, well they are huge, like street taco tortilla size each. Coconut Calamari - SPICY, well the sauce is spicy. This was done well. Wanted something light as we will be eating good tonight, well every night while we were here! In summary, the food and drinks were 5 stars. Atmosphere - Restaurant was fairly empty. Good size both tables and bar. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm or 11pm. Service - This was where the miss was. The first bartender must have been having a bad day...? Shot down immediately that I was NOT here for the happy hour, week days only. Again, see picture. Then I showed him my Yelp check-in and after reading it for a minute or two, he said he had never seen this before and was not sure what it was. And it is also expired. Then, he finally flagged a manager over and I explained to him that it was a Yelp check-in. He said because it was expired it would not work on the computer anymore and they could not honor it. I said I understand. A minute pause later, he then said he was going to honor it, 5 stars! Good business move. We could have just left just like the other customers. I can only take so much rejection, lol. Lastly, a new bartender came on shift and was so much more positive and supportive. After another customer left because of the "no" happy hour, I showed him the picture I took and he went right up front to check it out. Hopefully they took down the confusing sign. It surprises me when companies spend so much $$ on advertising and getting customers in your business, that it is so easy and quick to just shoot them down and let them leave. The people here for the superbowl are ready to spend $$$; don't you want more/some of it??? Cut and pasted from your website; your sign outside your restaurant should have read the same: "Happy Hour specials starting at $8 Thursday 2/8 - Sunday 2/11 3pm - 6pm" Price - $20 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success and your 7, soon to be 8 locations. Congrats on your success at this location; this location has gone through many businesses, I want you to succeed. Your food is good, you just need to improve your "communication."

Yelp
Monica was great! Food was excellent and I loved the salsa! Ordered the Vampiros tacos and they were delicious. I also loved the big chips.

Yelp
Care across this spot while looking for a place to grab dinner and decided to give it a shot. It was a good choice. The service was good, the food was good. It was not busy so it was nice a quiet aside from some background music.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was friendly. Bit of a walk if you enter at the casino to get here. Guac was good and carnitas.

Yelp
Caesar's Palace has no shortage of restaurants in the casino or the forum shops but what they do have a shortage of are vegan options. I was very fortunate to find SOL Mexican Cocina tucked away in the last corner of the Forum shops before heading back out on the Las Vegas Strip. I spoke with Laurie, Sabrina, Jenelly, and Brias who were all so considerate of my vegan requirements. They all walked me through the vegetarian options and how the Cocina could veganize them for me. I was seated and Chase quickly introduced himself and pointed out some of my options, again with care. NOTE: At this time, I checked into Yelp and was awarded one free appetizer which I used on three Naked Guacamole. That was a $16 savings. Thanks Yelp and SOL. Chase brought me tostadas with flavorings and seasonings ( see pic ) with salt, limes, habanero sauce as well as salsa and beans. All of it was flavorful and delicious. The salsa was smoky and packed a good punch. The habanero was no joke and while I like it a little bit hotter it was good. The beans with pepito seeds were blended excellently. I ordered the sweet potato tacos with red rice and beans. I really made an effort not to gorge myself but that was a sucker's bet. And being in Vegas, I lost and lost big. My sweet potato tacos arrived and were phenomenal. ( see pic ) Chase was attentive, courteous, prompt, and genuine. I couldn't had asked for better service or a meal. If you're staying at Caesars and either need an excellent and fairly priced Mexican meal, head over to SOL Mexican Cocina, they treat you like family.

Yelp
We had reservations for a big group during lunch but it was pretty empty inside since it was early. The interior is very nice and clean. They were able to seat all of us at one table which was nice. Carne asada quesadilla (5/5): A basic thing to get but it was good. Can't really go wrong with it. The portion was HUGE. I literally only ate 2 and had to take the rest togo. I had a choice of 2 between Mexican red rice, black beans, or a side salad. I am a sucker for red rice and beans so I chose those. It was a good little side. The avocado sauce and chipotle sauce that came with it were very flavorful and a good pairing. The chips and salsa that came as an appetizer was tasty too. I don't know how they fried the chips but they were CRISPY. Overall, a good lunch spot in Caesars Palace.

Elise S.

Yelp
This restaurant is tucked away and has some of the best food I've had. Our server, Alejandro, was very knowledgeable and an excellent server. He made sure we never ran out of drinks or chips. His service was excellent.

Yelp
We went for a business dinner and had several tables. Even though we had a reservation, the tables were not set up. When we finally set down, the food and drinks were brought fast. The salsa and homemade chips were delicious and the food was pretty good. The portions are small and the prices are high. Not a lot of variety but something for everyone. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Wednesday night but the service was great.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
Great spot to grab some food within the mall. The drinks were great, I'd recommend the larger margarita vs. the smaller one. The service was quite slow when we sat down and after ordering drinks but didn't ruin our meal. There was live music when we were there on Friday night. I would suggest getting a reservation even thought there were quite a few open when we were there. The ships and salsa were delicious and the chips are huge! The goat cheese appetizer was very worth it even though a little different for a Mexican restaurant. I loved the beer-batter tacos and would highly suggest them!
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the chips and salsa as well as my cocktail at SOL! The tacos were just decent but definitely not worth the price. I came to SOL during lunch on a Wednesday and sat at the bar. I had the spicy pineapple margarita and the carne asada tacos with the rice and beans. The cocktail was great and had a good balance of sweet, spicy, and booziness. It was pretty busy but the bartender was working hard keeping us all taken care of. The carne asada tacos were good, but nothing special. I'd definitely come back to try other items on the menu as I had an overall good experience.

Yelp
I loved my quick pop-in here (even though it was very hard to find at first). I arrived as soon as it opened so I was the only customer there but I appreciate that that gave me time to talk to my server about their recommendations. For food I had the La Vida Quinoa Bowl with chipotle-garlic seitan. Before my food came out, i was welcomed with a very delicious (and large) helping of chipotle-dusted tortilla chips with a tomatillo salsa. That was so good, I packaged it to take on my flight back home lol. The bowl was great too. My favorite part was the chipotle-garlic seitan, filling and flavorful. Lastly, I tried their flavored mimosa. Basic drink but executed well. Overall, I enjoyed everything I had here, the decor was gorgeous, and the vibe was a perfect end to my trip to Vegas. I highly recommend this place and would visit again if ever I was in town.

Yelp
For it being a last minute choice after feeling too lazy to make the trip to another restaurant, SOL was a pleasant surprise. I always look forward to the variety of flavors and textures Mexican food has to offer, so I was excited to check this place out. Free chips and salsa, gotta love it. Bonus points for seasoning their chips! Garlic Ribeye "Bistek" ($16): a specialty taco, price is for one (1) taco: unfortunately we weren't given a choice on the cook of the meat, and it was given to us overcooked. Even with the handmade blue corn tortilla, the whole dish was dry and kind of a hassle to eat. Wild Fish on Esquites: seasonal fish at the time was sea bass. Sitting on a bed of corn esquites, this was a better dish compared to the taco, and we did enjoy it. It was good, but was nothing mindblowing. I may have been too spoiled by Chilean Sea Bass dishes of more notable restaurants. Michelada: Big ol' almost fish bowl worth of michelada. No complaints here! Service and ambiance was great; servers were attentive and there was live music and the singer was actively engaging the restaurant guests. While the food wasn't anything mindblowing, our overall experience here was positive. Yelp 2023 Adventures - 7 of ??

Yelp
Our Las Vegas trip started with dinner at SOL located at Caesar's Forum Shop. The walk from the hotel to the restaurant is not that far especially of the different shops you see along the way. We ordered mostly the taco dishes and a salad. Most all of our food came to each person's liking except that the Fish taco pictured here, I felt was a little bland even with the visible spice on the fish. Our server was pleasant and attentive. There were also complimentary whole tortilla chips with black bean dip and salsa. Some of the chips were plain and the others with spice. It was a break from the traditional triangular chips! So that is a plus. By the way, the live guitarist and singer one man show was an added bonus. Overall, this place is good value for a meal on the strip.

Yelp
Just when you think you've had every type of mexican fare there is, Sol comes along. My friend had been there before, but this was my first time. Our two top dined for lunch after making a reservation the day before on Open Table. We were seated right away, drink orders taken and chips with two salsas followed. The chips were delicious and the size of a street taco. My friend had a taco plate and I had a Quinoa bowl from the brunch menu. The servers were attentive and despite there being a good sized lunch crowd a few days before Christmas, our food arrived in 10 minutes! I will definitely be back. The choices (and prices) on the menu were incredible - grilled fish, lunch tortas and quesadillas with every protein imaginable; this wasn't a run of the mill Strip restaurant- Sol really offers something for everyone. Beautiful decor and great service, too!

Yelp
We (party of 2) came here on a Sunday evening and it was not busy, we were greeted and seated immediately. The aesthetic of the restaurant is super nice, fancy, and clean. I had the wet carne asada burrito with rice and beans, it was really good with tasty fresh ingredients and the meat was cooked well. Our server was nice, but we did have to call someone else over to give us the check bc we had no idea where our server went for a while. Overall we enjoyed the food and I thought the place was really nice.

Yelp
This place is a must stop if you like Mexican, while you're in Las Vegas! We first started with the Lotte corn, it comes tableside, and they cut it off the cob for you! Please don't miss out on this, it was by far the best I've ever had! Next we had shrimp, taquitos and guacamole. Both of these were excellent and I would get again by this time we were already full off of our chips and salsa and appetizers, but we ordered quesadillas, shrimp, burrito, bowls, and adobo chicken. We also got different types of margaritas, I got the spicy margarita, I can handle spice, but this one was a little spicy for me! I ended on the house margarita, and was not mad about that either! The ambience is pretty clean with a Latin flavor, not kitschy or anything. We had excellent service and even had the manager stop by our table! Make sure to stop by here if you're in the mood for Mexican and in Las Vegas.

Yelp
I came here for a work dinner and was super impressed. We had a private area in the back, and an overwhelming amount of food. We had the sol gauc, grilled corn, calamari to start - all amazing! The guac was my favorite. The salsas super flavorful and unique paprika seasoned chips! The margs were refreshing and delicious. We then had a TJ Caesar which was solid, and I ordered the goat cheese enchiladas which were delightful. I was stuffed tot her brim and was super disappointed I couldn't force myself to finish my meal. Dessert was churro and a banana dish, both pretty good. Would highly recommend if in Vegas

Yelp
Such a beautiful restaurant design. It wasn't packed on a Monday night. Ordered the fish tacos, which weren't a disappointment. We shared the guacamole that was filled with flavor. I wanted to try the drinks, but was dying from Vegas festivities.
google avatar

Yelp
Had an amazing happy hour here! Great service, delicious food and drinks, beautiful ambiance, right on the strip! It's a new location (just opened Fall 2022), on the first floor of the circular tower where the map shows it (go down the escalators if you're coming from the Caesar's Forum side- I was confused at first). Was a little quiet when I was here mid-week, but deserves to be a popular spot for date night or group outing; highly recommend!

Yelp
The food and service was excellent. My mom and I made a reservation for a Sunday night at 6:15pm but realized there was no need when we got there as it was practically empty. By the time we were eating and when we left though, it got more crowded so if you come later make sure to make a reservation. The complimentary chips, bean dip, and salsa are unique. The chips come as a whole fried tortilla and the bean dip is yummy. I got the carne asada street tacos and ate every bite. My mom got the chipotle shrimp burrito and was delicious as well. I also got a watermelon margarita and think it was worth it.

Yelp
The decor is beautiful and the food is great but the service...AMAZING! Zamor, the GM was always seen going around speaking to guests and making sure all is well making you feel like family the way he actually spent time talking with us. Usually management comes by quickly just to say they made their rounds. Zamor actually TALKED to us! Queso fundido, potato taco, BBQ taco and Chile verde plate is what we ordered and it was BOMB! We will definitely be back, we want to come back SOON! The complimentary chips with salsa and beans were a great addition! They also had LIVE music! Also want to give a shout-out to our server who was so attentive and helpful, thank you Narinder!

Yelp
These folks took us in just 20 mins before close. We were the only people in the restaurant, which made us wonder... It doesn't look like much in terms of look and feel. Pretty casual. So, probably not for a fancy date night- but to grab some good Mexican fusion, I would say yes. It's kind of like Baja Mexican- coastal Mexican... which I love. The menu had plenty of wonderful options, lots of different unique tacos. We got quesadillas, tacos, a corn appie (recommend), and some cocktails. I would recommend the tacos over the quesadillas- but both were good. Would definitely recommend this place for kind service, good food, and a relaxed ambiance.

Yelp
We came here on a Tuesday at lunch time. I did not see inside of the main dining room to see just how busy it was in there, but when we arrived, no one was at the hostess stand and when a hostess finally came out we were told it would be about a 10-minute wait. We sat on a bench nearby and received a text that our table was ready within just a few minutes. We were seated at a cozy booth near the front entrance spaced out from other diners and had an awesome server (I forget his name.) Maybe it had to do with the restaurant not being very busy, but it had a relaxing feel during our meal. As for the food, we got a big complimentary serving of chips, salsa, and sauces, always a nice touch when that comes with your meal. For my order, I got their Ensenada-style fish tacos and chose black beans and quinoa as my sides. I was really excited to see quinoa as an option as I have become a fan of it recently. To top it off, I had fruit for dessert and a watermelon mimosa to drink. I like everything I ate and drank and had a nice experience overall. I definitely would come back here if I find myself at Caesar's again.

Yelp
The servers were very nice. They had an interesting solo pianist, drummer, guitarist playing in the background. Not Mexican music though. But the food was amazing! I wanted a traditional Mexican breakfast so I ordered the chillaquilles. It was very tasty with real Mexican cheese. I would have preferred no sour cream and more salsa, but that's just me. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Looking for dinner spots spur of the moment while in Vegas, we (wife and I) came across this Mexican joint. Super clean looking and classy inside. Friendly service, even though we were those people who showed up 30 minutes before close. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we order a bit too much for the 2 of us. Very good sized portions and quality flavors. The only thing that I would say is price is pretty high, especially for us Canadians with the conversion, but definitly authentic style Mexican food and consistent quality amongst all the dishes. It definitly satisfied our craving, and left us with leftovers that I ended up giving to someone in need in the casino on our walk back. I am sure they enjoyed it just as much as we did!

Yelp
I love visiting an undiscovered gem in Vegas on the strip. And even though Sol is apparently a chain, it felt undiscovered considering we were one of about three parties in the giant restaurant...and it took long enough to find LOL. It's all about the adventure. The journey is the true experience...you know, all that stuff.  We journeyed through the Caeser's shops and had to take the stairs to find Sol. The restaurant itself is massive because it goes back pretty far.  Our waiter was super friendly, as was everyone working there. The food:   THE Chips and bean dip (and salsa) - It's worth it alone to come here for the chips and bean dip. The chips are basically fried up tortilla with the most addicting seasoning, that includes crushed up pumpkin seeds. The bean dip is warm with pumpkin seeds on top...almost reminiscent of a spicy bean soup? It's magical. The other salsa was just okay. The hot salsa was HOT omg. I dipped my fork in it and almost couldn't see straight. Filling up on the chips is very easy to do. We got two baskets of them! Big Mex Chop salad - This salad really was BIG as promised as I had plenty of leftovers to take home. I swapped out the almonds for the intriguing pepita brittle, which added a nice crunch. The avocado dressing was tangy and creamy. The corn, beans, and Pico kept each bite exciting.  Salmon salad - My bf ordered this, and he ate it all, so it must have been good. I tried the beet chips that came in it, and those were excellent. They are great at adding creative items to the salads. He liked the dressing, and it had a good mix of ingredients.  The single tacos on the menu seemed overpriced ($10 for one taco), but there were so many options of those. We are volume eaters, so salads for us HAHA.  The waiter said some nights there have been waits out the door, so we got lucky that it was quiet. Just our style. You can hear yourself talk.  Sol is worth a try if you want to be an early adopter of up and coming Vegas eateries. And eat some excellent chips.

Yelp
I had dinner here the other night and my experience was great! Brandon our server was super friendly and helpful! The Margaritas are delicious! Even though they are $17+ they give you a very healthy pour! The cucumber jalapeños & the watermelon Margarita were our favorites! For appetizers the Coconut Calamari is a MUST TRY! It's so flavorful and unique. The Sol guacamole was good, however you can't taste the goat cheese. For dinner there, so fajitas definitely needed more flavor, especially on the chicken. The CARNE ASADA STREET TACOS were bomb!! The SHRIMP CHILE RELLENO was also very good! For sides the Spicy Slaw was DELICIOUS!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! I can't wait to go back and have the coconut calamari and to try more items on the menu!

Yelp
After a short walk from the Venitian, we enjoyed a delicious meal at SOL. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and full of energy. I had a very tasty chicken dish with arugula, avocado, and peppers. My wife enjoyed her carne asada tacos. We also enjoyed the uniquely round tortillas served with salsa and black bean sauce. The ambiance was nice, but a little "stark" for my tastes, but everything was neat and clean

Yelp
Phenomenal Mexican food! We loved the Carne Asada tacos and the sweet potato and black bean tacos. We ended the meal with the churros ice cream dessert, which was so delicious. The service was excellent, too. The restaurant has a chill date night vibe but would also be a great spot to meet friends or go out with the family.

Yelp
Been there a few times now. All the bartenders made extremely delicious drinks. (Kendall, Tony, AJ, Emma). Hostesses were friendly and the Manager Heather made sure I was well taken care of. The food was also super delicious especially the short ribs dish. The restaurant had nice ambiance and was kept clean and tidy Love to be back again.

Yelp
I've been to their location in Playa Vista, California, so decided to try it out for Sunday brunch. It was rather quiet, which was welcomed after a long Vegas weekend. Server was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. I stayed away from the chips and multiple salsas cause I know how good and tempting they are. I ended up getting the Papi, which was good but expected a bit more. Someone else at the table got the crab Benedict and said it was the best they ever had. Great drink selection for a Mexican brunch too!

Yelp
Solid delicious food and friendly service! The atmosphere and music are such a vibe. I didn't realize they had brunch daily which is nice! The tostada and dips (bean and salsa) were also a nice touch. We'll definitely be back again!

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my 29th birthday with my boyfriend and my close friends. The food was delicious. The wagyu steak was so buttery and I cleaned my plate. The berries and bloom drink was delicious I drank two and I also drank a strawberry basil that was also very delicious! The chips and salsa that come with are also delicious! We finished one basket of the chips and salsa I would give 5/5 stars only if they had accommodated for my birthday although the restaurant was moderately busy. I did reserve here for a special occasion yet there wasn't any special accommodation from them. The ambiance was very calm as well. Although I had booked specifically for as per their website it said that there was live music from 6- close. We got there at 7 and there was no live music from local musician so I think that's what was missing.

Yelp
Food portion was tiny and mediocre. Service was slow. Ill pass next time. Better food next door.

Yelp
Good high level Mexican cuisine. Chilaquiles were made with the right balance of flavor and spice. Huevos rancheros were perfectly cooked.

Yelp
Came in for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation, but showed up early and they were very accommodating and seated us right away which was nice. It was not very full, and the seating was nice. They had a full bar for drinks. Chase our waiter was awesome and very nice. The manager came by and he was very nice and pleasant to talk to. He made sure our needs were met and when he found out it was my birthday they upgraded the dessert which was nice. The food was all delicious and had good flavor and had good portions.

Yelp
Great service! Huge menu with a ton of options but there is almost too many.... They have fantastic chips and salsa. Food came as a huge portion size which is rare in Vegas but it was all a little bland and boring. I would recommend for service and ambience but the food is just alright. It was very convenient and easy to get to.

Yelp
Was excited to try this while shopping the forum shops but was disappointed. Food was under seasoned and not served hot. Had one beverage, the naked guac, a quesadilla and spent $88 before tipping. While I expect to pay more being on the strip I hope to get an experience but we were sat in a back corner, were told the booth seating we requested was reserved and the hour and a half we were there no one was sat there. Poor service and mediocre food.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous! Dined here for Sunday brunch and sat at the bar. Enjoyed a few blackberry and ginger margaritas and spicy micheladas, and tried the chilaquiles and machaca wrap. Sooooo good! The bar tender was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, while delivering exceptional service. The manager checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The vibe, service, environment, cleanliness, food and drink quality will bring us back. Many thanks!

Yelp
We were amazed by this place. Blown away. Most cantina/cocina places in Vegas are all the same and so meh Everything was fresh scratch made, full flavor, and unique. I put it on the list of places we wanted to visit because of the cauliflower tacos but it went so far beyond! Drinks great too. It's hard to find - come in through shops entrance not the casino entrance to the shops. It's soooo worth it. Spicy Popcorn Cauliflower Tacos The tostadas they bring out instead of chips when you first get there are mind blowing. Go now!

Yelp
Wow what a fun time at SOL! The restaurant is beautiful and has calm vibes. I enjoyed some tacos and drinks. They have the Cardi B whip cream here and it tastes delicious with the espresso cocktail! The home made tortilla chips are out of this world! I have never seen anything like it. Delicious and coated with Tajin.. I had a lovely time, Taylor at the bar was wonderful and kept me laughing! Great addition to the forum shops!
