Sol y Luna - Relais & Chateaux

Stayed here for a few nights and had a magical experience. Beautiful, spacious casitas on amazing grounds - it was nice just to walk around the property and look at all the flowers! Breakfast was al carte, fresh, and perfectly light which was great for the initial altitude sickness that we felt. We tried both restaurants for dinner as well, which were delicious and highly recommend. The best part, however, was the service - every staff member, from waiter to housekeeping to reception was extremely warm, helpful, and kind. Huge shoutout to Malo who checked in on us periodically and even helped us with last minute requests for transport or tours- he was extremely professional & passionate about hospitality- we loved chatting with him!. Prior to our stay, the staff was also very responsive via email - thank you to Claudia, Luz, Kelly.

What a fantastic hotel. So much to say. The setting is incredible, so relaxing looking out at the mountains. The staff are excellent, speak very good English and always available when you need something. The rooms are large and well decorated. Only complaint we have is the shower was not very powerful. We are somewhat sad we are only here for two nights. It’s lovely!

A beautiful boutique hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Attentive, charming and friendly staff. Excellent food and a bar with a great ambience. Chat and drnk with your partner or friends or play backgammon, chess, checkers or even poker dice while you while away a pleasant hour or two. The hotel has its own ranch with equestrian displays every day and the opportunity for some gentle horseriding with excellent guides. Tito was my guide and instrutor - a real character! The gardens are exquisite. Hope I get the chance to return.

This property is spectacular and the incredible, mind-reading staff made us feel like family and completely valued as guests. The food, cocktails and wine were magnificent, the spa & massages were fantastic and the personal, skillful yet unintrusive attention & service from Malo and the entire staff was absolutely world-class - they anticipated, met and exceeded our every need. We received gracious, kind, and utterly professional service from everyone we encountered on their beautiful property. ||We arrived home over the weekend and keep thinking about our delightful time at this resort -- we are already scheming to get back as soon as possible. We travel often and Sol y Luna is without question one of the best and most special places we have ever stayed anywhere in the world.

We stayed at Sol y Luna for 4 nights. Everything was outstanding. Our casita was comfortable and roomy. The landscaping is magnificent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were very good. My only regret is that because we were out and about every day we did not have enough time to relax and enjoy the amenities.

This place is perfection. I have never experienced this level of service and care. We had such a great visit to the Sacred Valley. The food was excellent and the rooms, grounds and amenities would be hard to top. My only advice would be to choose a date that does not include a local holiday as the property is in town and the celebrations can last into the night. Highly recommend. 15/10.

This is a beautiful hotel, hidden away in Urumbamba. Fabulous gardens, wonderful staff, thank you Malo for making our stay so pleasurable. We only wish we had longer to enjoy the lovely surroundings more, chill in the spa, lounge by the pool and relax in our beautiful house. |We were more than happy to contribute to your wonderful school for children programme. |Thank you , some day we may be back. My 2-night stay at the Sol y Luna resort was an awesome introduction to the Sacred Valley. My casita was both comfortably luxurious and beautiful and the meals I had at the Killa Wasi restaurant were both delicious and most of the time, culinary works of art! I would really stay here again, and of course, make a strong recommendation for anyone to experience this beautiful property and Urubamba. So peaceful & tranquil!
