I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at a lot of fabulous properties all over the world but Sol Y Luna is one of my favorites. The staff was so friendly and helpful no matter what I needed. The grounds are amazing. I enjoyed walking around every day and just soaking in the beauty of all the different types of plants and flowers they had. The spa was terrific. There were 5 of us and everyone really enjoyed their massages. They have a small but well equipped gym and a separate yoga/stretch room that overlooks the pool and stunning mountains in the background. The best part for me was the ranch with sweet, beautiful horses. I would come back to sacred valley just to stay at this hotel again. It is that special of a place.

What an incredible realization of a passion project that continues to flourish. This is truly a labor of love and exudes immense creativity and care by the family who own and operate Sol y Luna. ||We had the fortune of experiencing this gem for two nights and only wish we had two more to fully savor the scope of the offering available as their experiences on an off property could easily fill a week - especially to celebrate the equestrian program that is unique to this hotel. ||We did enjoy their private cooking class where we learned Peruvian classics in a fun and informative setting and also found time to swim, sauna, and workout (hotel gyms are a rarity in Peru so we were thrilled to discover Sol y Luna has a small yet well equipped fitness room). The breakfast was excellent (everything from acai bowls to locally smoked trout with poached eggs); the rooms are absolutely charming with local art and unique character (highly recommend the Deluxe category over the Superior for extra space, double vanity, separate shower and tub, fireplace, etc); the gardens so lovingly designed and established... It really is an expression of the heart and we are so blessed to have discovered this gem. Truly a favorite from our adventures through Peru.

This is an excellent hotel and property. It is beautiful. The gardens are lovely. The food & restaurant r very good. Pool, pool area & fitness center r all good as well. The room, a casita was really nice as well. The location in the sacred valley is well placed.

We loved our stay at Sol Y Luna. It was an oasis of excellent service, fabulous food, and beautiful casitas. Everything was cozy, thoughtful and intentional from the hot water bottles to warm your bed in the evening to the welcome treats in your bed. We enjoyed every minute and were sad we didn't have longer to stay so we could have enjoyed the spa and the pool.

Sol y Luna is a wonderful boutique hotel with exception service, friendly staff and excellent cusine. The casitas are very comfortable and feel authentic Peruvian while still having all the comforts one would want. The flora and fauna are absolutely outstanding and make for wonderful pictures at every turn. Our family of 4 had a truly special time at Sol y Luna, especially given that we booked two casitas for extra space.

We received exceptional service at Sol y Luna and felt that everything about it was beyond first class. We had very wonderful interactions with everyone on the staff. The setting is incredible, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, it is quiet and well-situated for many Sacred Valley activities. Everyone was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the service at meals was impeccable. Finally, the entire front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my stupid questions. We left headphones in our room when we departed and they notified our travel company and made sure that they were returned to us. Everything about our stay there was magical.

Disappointing hotel despite the beautiful setting. The rooms are stylish but sparse e.g. no kettle and no glasses provided for the water. You cannot sit comfortably up in bed as there's no headboard just a shelf behind the pillows. The prices are ridiculously high for everything. A single glass of wine is almost 20 usd. The gym is very small and the sauna temp is very low (47 C!). The breakfast is tasty and the restaurant manager is very personable. But overall this hotel is not good value for money at all and I would not recommend it.

Loved my casita and the food. The service each day was excellent and attentive. Also enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub. Well worth the splurge!
