Stunning Views, Disappointing Experience
We visited this new rooftop spot yesterday, just two weeks into its opening, and were excited by the setting.
Atmosphere: A++ — the views are absolutely stunning, and the ambiance is exactly what you’d hope for from a rooftop experience.
Unfortunately, the food and service were a major letdown.
We’re not overly picky diners, but when you order a $22 charcuterie board and receive large, rough cut blocks of cheese, meat clearly torn by hand, and a handful of Ritz crackers, it’s hard not to feel disappointed. To make matters worse, the board arrived 45 minutes after ordering.
The service was consistently inattentive. Each step of the evening — from ordering appetizers, to placing our main course orders, to simply requesting the check — required long waits and repeated follow-ups. At one point, we waited 30 minutes after asking for the check and ultimately had to track down the host to pay. We weren’t alone — another guest mentioned she’d been waiting over an hour just to close out her tab.
This place has serious potential with its incredible setting, but until the kitchen and service staff catch up, we’d recommend going for a drink and the view — and setting expectations accordingly.
