One of the best meals I had this summer. Each bite carries a ton of flavor and the food was served warm. I would say my pasta was a bit oily from the pork fat, but it really carried flavor along. We took an Apfelshnitzel for dessert but were not crazy impressed with it. However the staff was warm and the service was amazing. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, especially their potato pancakes (bramborák), beer from the local brewery, lovely decor and wonderful staff. This was our favourite place in Hluboká by far.

Stopped at this place on my way to the castle for a lunch. Beer by Hluboka Pivovar was among the best Czech beers I've had. I ordered garlic soup and bramborak aka potatoes pancake. Garlic soup was literary perfection with all the garlic, bread croutons, some greens in a meaty broth :) For that soup alone I'd come back. In combo with beer it was even better. Potatoes pancake was OK and really big in size. Though taste wise nothing too special. Server was very nice and welcoming

Lovely place on the small square of Hluboka. Price and quality of the food is very good. Interior decoration is amazing! Sitting outside during summer is awesome as well. Beer is impressive. Overall just wonderful.

The food and the service were both great. I had a flank steak and the local beer, both of which were excellent (I am not easy to please on either account). My partner is lactose intolerant and they cheerfully made some minor tweaks with her meal and she was equally ecstatic. The prices may seem a little high—but they’re not when taking into consideration the quality of the food.

Speechless. Started with place (the atmospere of the restaurant really impressed me) , then perfect service (despite full place, within 10 minutes we got a table) , delicious food for reasonable price. One of the best restaurants we have ever visited.

Great place! The local beer spirit is an interesting taste. The local dark beer (christmas special 16 Lotr) was very nice as well. The food was fabulous, we went as a group of 3 and everyone was very satisfied! The apple strudel was great! The service was veey quick, all food was delivered hot, ready to eat! Recommended for anyone visiting the castle orjust passing through.

Yelp
Looks tight and modern from the outside but you enter into a warm traditional Czech restaurant with a light ice hockey theme. Many Czech dishes on the menu and the beers from the brewery next door on tap and for sale. The server was an absolute delight: a warm and welcoming man who clearly loves his job. Will return when in the area.

Yelp
Visited multiple times during a short trip to Hluboka and spent every evening here enjoying their excellent cappuccino, tea, and desserts. Their ginger tea is an infusion using sliced ginger root and local honey - the perfect way to end the day. Friendly, multilingual service, and a friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
The food here was good. Portion sizes were fair for the price. The real kicker was the service, the waiters ignored me after eye contact and brought me tap water in a soot ridden reused bottle.
