DONT IGNORE THE RUDE LADY COMMENTS. THEY ARE 100% true !!!….. avoid. avoid. The food is okay AT best. But oh my god the lady (I assume the owner) is super super RUDE. I went with my father. Who said that he enjoyed the food but jesus this lady is super rude. She threw the menus at us. The lady rolls her eyes and over all I could see why her business was empty. I always try to support small businesses but this is one that I am avoiding for the rest of my life and I wouldn’t wish this kind of service on anyone I know. At the end of the day I work hard for my money and I don’t expect anyone to give me free food. But for god sakes keep the attitude. I don’t know if I got this lady on a bad day but avoid this restaurant like the plague.

Great local place to get amazing Korean soup without having to go to Korea town. I think people are a bit harsh on service. You can tell it's owned by family. Every restaurant is having a hard time hiring additional people. I went for lunch during the week in a residential area so not surprised no one was there, the food was excellent for the area (obviously people might argue there are a lot more options in Korea town but we are not in Korea town). The person who served me was great. I know some gave bad service, but I disagree, you can tell the lady was a funny person and tried to bring the personality of fun and warm to you but her English is not great so for people not used to non native speaker may seem rude or not helpful, but she was trying. Also, for a lot of Korean restaurants in California, they come only when you ask and they usually have a door bell on the table, for those who are not used to that style of service might think they are rude, but that's the culture and it's quite normal. If you want a diff service then Korean food might not be for you. :)

Why is this lady so rude! I tried to order something off the menu and she explained to me that it wasn’t available. “okay got it”. I then told her i wanted something that was on the slideshow behind her “also no”. I don’t understand why this lady gets so rude with her customers. Her business is empty and I CAN SEE WHY. This restaurant is empty for a reason! Don’t question it. Take your money elsewhere!!! Other reviews argue that her rudeness is because of translation issues but they’re just trying to come up with excuses for her! You don’t need a language to be rude, her body movement and language says it all. The food isn’t worth having to endure this lady’s wrath.

The food was delicious! I went in knowing about the bad reviews about service. There was only one woman serving all of the tables. I understand some people might not like the service they got but she's human, and this lady was not stopping for anything. They are severely understaffed but she was making moves and not being malicious like some other people are saying. I don't speak Korean so there was some communication we had to work through but other than that she was direct, she was doing her best, and the food was freakin delicious. There was a tiny mixup that another customer caused (his fault) and she felt bad so she gave us a discount for the inconvenience. She was the sweetest. Is this Applebee's where they'll smile and make you feel like home, no. Is this the kind of place to get Korean food, pay, and go about your day, yes. Eat and call your mother you ingrate.

I don't understand the reviews that say the server/owner is rude, I went here many times with friends and family and they're just fine. The food is wonderful too, if anything it's not as bad as these reviews say. They heard me butchering my korean and made polite teasing fun. Overall good experience

Super rude lady. She is not one bit kind. Can’t believe an owner would give such horrible service. Don’t go here save your money and feelings. Avoid this restaurant, wish I never went. All the good reviews must be her family because the food is nothing worth giving a 5 star review for.

Food not amazing. Service is terrible. Sassy and rude lady taking orders. Place wasn’t even full for her to be treating us with such a bad attitude.

The food here was incredible. Hearty, delicious soups and tasty tasty kimchee fried rice. The pork cutlet was outrageous and their banchan is top notch. My absolute favorite part was the service. These people are truly wonderful and excellent at making you feel at home. Can’t wait to return.
