SOMA Coffee in Cork is a reliably strong spot for great coffee, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe. The coffee is well-crafted and thoughtfully sourced, though consistency can dip slightly depending on who’s behind the bar. Service is warm and welcoming, but occasionally slows down during peak times. The space is stylish and relaxed, ideal for a casual meet-up or solo break, though it can get a bit cramped and noisy when busy. Overall, it’s a solid 4/5 across the board — a place you’ll return to, even if it’s not flawless.

We had black coffee and it wasn’t great. Lacked flavour and seemed watery. Maybe we should have ordered espresso. Had a scone which was good size but a bit heavy. Nice with jam and cream - we had to ask for the cream. Another patron gave us his Xmas mince pie as they had ordered 2 and only wanted 1. It was delicious. Nice large outdoor seating area.

Excellent coffee with beans from all over the world, from Ethiopia to Colombia. If you're looking for a great speciality coffee, this is the place for you. If you want to have a coffee, read a good book or write, this is also a great place. A coffee shop for everyone in Cork.

Great selection of single origin beans. Knowledgeable baristas. So far, best espresso I've had in Cork. Batch brew was also delicious. Highly recommended.

We have visited here since it first opened. I find the coffee to be good and reliablely consistent. We like their hot chocolate. We like their selection of treats and goodies. They have gluten free options and vegan options. The staff are friendly and welcoming overall. Good for a quick chat. It is wheelchair accessible. It can be a bit crowded though during rush hours. We find it a bit dark. Sitting outside is pleasant enough.

First coffee roaster of our trip and what a great experience it was! I tried their batch coffee, a medium roast Ethiopian, that got better with every sip. Needless to say, I left with a bag of beans! Plus, the staff members are very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all the questions I had. There’s a good amount of seating but this place gets pretty packed.

Found the coffee shop to try while in Ireland. The manager just came to our table to give us a sample of their watermelon infused Colombian brew after we complimented the Latte art. Best coffee I've had in Ireland and on my top 10 coffee shops worldwide so far. The picture is of my actual Latte.

We had a great time having coffee here at SOMA. The coffee is great and the service was fast and friendly.

Oat, soy and almond milk available. ~$5 USD for large oat milk cappuccino, cute place but coffee was a bit sour for my liking and the oat milk could've been a bit hotter without being burnt
