This place has been on my to-go list but there was always a line. Luckily, when we dined here, there was no line but the place was packed. The staff were attentive despite being full house. Serving time wasn't too long as well. Food was great! We ordered Crab Curry, Crab Omelette Rice (with nam jim sauce), Hamachin in Nam Jim Sauce, and Roti. Crab omelette rice is good on its own. So we ordered a cup of plain rice for the crab curry. They were good, especially with the nam jim sauce. I truly loved and enjoyed their nam jim sauce!! And they were kind enough to give us a second serving. While all of our orders were a hit, the Hamachi stood out and was my favorite among the dishes we ordered. It was a flavor explosion, sweet salty spicy sour... it was so good and they worked well together. Roti was good too! It's very simple, but I loved the crisp and chewy texture of it. Would come back again to try the other dishes!

I just came back from Bangkok and I can say that the Pad Thai and Crab Omelette Rice is good specially if you’re craving for Thai food. The Banana Roti was delicious as well perfect to end our meal. It’s the service that needs improvement. I’ve been here before the first quarter of 2025 and I noticed that the waiting time for the food was so long. I thought since it’s been a few months it would improve already but unfortunately, it didn’t. I really don’t mind though since the quality of the food was great but when I asked for the check it almost took them maybe 10 mins to get back to me and I noticed that I asked for the bill first but they went and settled the bill of the other table who asked for their bill after us. It’s a small thing but we already waited long for the food tapos even for the bill we have to wait too? This is something that maybe the management can improve a little :)

The service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out fresh and flavorful. The staff gave us a complimentary roti because it was my husband’s birthday. I must say, roti with condensed was really interesting and goood!! The Tom Yum and the Son and Raw was really a standout. I also enjoyed the Krapao. Although the pork on top was not seasoned enough (can be better) but the ground pork with string beans was awesome! Tom yum fried chicken was okay— i might not order this next time. I was initially hesitant to eat here considering that I have crab allergies and most thai food have crab— but there are other options that can be enjoyed. The only downside is the long queue, especially during peak hours, so be prepared to wait. We went there on Tuesday evening at 7pm and got in past 8. We didn’t mind the cue since this is something that we’re used to in other restaurants. There can be improvements in the waiting area though, because it was drizzling when we were in line and we had two senior citizens with us. Oh and the washroom wasn’t functional when we went there. But despite the downside— the good food compensated for the long wait. It’s worth it for the quality of the food and service. Will definitely come back!

Everything was so tasty. Strong flavors is the staple. Loved their Tom yum. So rich! Son and raw a must try. Fried rice was super smoky. The chicken thai-nanese could be more tender.. Have to come back for the rest of the menu.

Food Review: Some Thai – Tomas Morato Tried Some Thai in Tomas Morato and here's my quick take: the Tom Yum Soup absolutely stole the show. It was incredibly flavorful—rich, tangy, spicy, and comforting. I could honestly come back just for that alone. As for the rest of the dishes, they were okay, nothing particularly bad, but also nothing that stood out. I did notice that most of the other items were quite oily for my taste. The Pad Thai, egg crab dish, and fried wings were all decent, but the oiliness made it a bit heavy and overwhelming. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re craving Thai flavors, but for me, the real winner was the Tom Yum soup. That’s what I’ll be coming back for next time.

The long wait is over! we finally tried a SOME THAI, and everything was perfect. We ordered fresh spring rolls, Pad Thai, crab curry, Tom Yum, and mango sticky rice, and all of it was surprisingly yummy! The servers were attentive, and the cooking time was just right! 🫶🏻

Been wanting to try this for a while but never had the patience for the line. Luckily today, no wait and service was quick! Here’s what we had: • Tom Yum – hands down the best I’ve ever had. Rich, comforting, with perfectly cooked squid and shrimp. Perfect balance of flavors. • Hamachi in Nam Jim Sauce – super fresh and the sauce paired so well. A must-try if you like hamachi. • Crab Omelette Rice – really enjoyed this, especially with the Nam Jim sauce (I love cilantro so this was a winner). • Thai Fried Spring Roll – just your classic pork spring rolls with sweet chili sauce. Would definitely come back to try more dishes. Excited for their Podium branch too!

I’d rate Some Thai a 5 for their tasty, reasonably priced food and their awesome, patient staff. However, table and wait time management could be improved. A large group of 15 people caused delays for about 13 other groups waiting to be seated. (Perhaps the staff could’ve reminded the group that there was a huge wait, and they could continue their chitchat and phone scrolling somewhere else 🤨) I had to convince the staff to let our group of 3 take a table for 2 to avoid waiting over 40 minutes. Thankfully, they accommodated us, and our food arrived quickly. Kudos to Allan, who handled the crowd with finesse. See you soon at a bigger branch!
