Some Thai delivers exactly what you hope for from a small, well-loved restaurant: genuinely good food that justifies the hype—mostly. We ordered the Thai spring rolls, fried sea bass, and the slow-cooked short ribs curry, and all three dishes were excellent. The spring rolls were crisp and well-seasoned, the sea bass was perfectly fried with moist flesh inside, and the short ribs curry was the clear standout—rich, tender, and deeply flavorful, clearly cooked with patience and care.
That said, the experience does come with a test of endurance. We waited almost two hours for a table. While good company made the wait more tolerable, two hours is still a long time, especially given the restaurant’s small size. Seating is limited, and the space is tight, so expectations should be managed.
Overall, the food is undeniably good and worth trying, but be prepared to wait—or plan ahead.
