Restaurant was very clean and the food was tasty. I really enjoyed that you receive chips and salsa to snack on while you wait for your food. My only complain is that the workers seemed much more involved with the drive through than the guests inside the restaurant. I stood at the front and waited about 3 minutes before I was able to order while the workers kind of just stood there and looked at me it was a bit awkward

I love coming to this location for lunch. It's quick and easy and plenty of room to sit. Make sure you dine in and relax.

Service was great! We didn’t have to wait a long time for our food. Food was good! Love the salsas. Employees had a friendly face like they enjoy their job. I definitely will go eat there again.

Their salsas are so delicious! A warm and inviting atmosphere. The folks here are so friendly and cheerful. We stopped in after gym meet right down the street. Our breakfast was cooked in great timing and was very good! They said that people drive by but sometimes don't see the restaurant! How is that possible? I love how they give to the community as I noticed the big calendar near the front entrance. They also do catering here. We gladly recommend people give them a try.

Recently moved to the valley from Michigan. I saw this cute restaurant that included seating outside. During the visit, they offered summer scratch off tickets to win food items. I won a fiesta platter worth $60. I couldn’t believe it!! I used to to have a family gathering at my new home. It was perfect!! The food is hot and delicious!! Everyone loves it!! The staff are always professional and friendly. I will definitely be returning to this nice restaurant!! Sorry no photos they ate it too fast , lol

Great experience, went for a school fundraiser, I’ll be back. Reasonably priced and great food. You order at the front and they bring it to your table when ready. I would recommend You normally get rice and beans but I asked for double rice if you look at my pictures.

Need more locations. My daughter loves the beans and asked to come here. She's super picky so eating all her plate is rare. Food good size portions.

quiet enjoyable Sunday morning breakfast without the crowds and rush of the city. greeted with a good morning and answered all my questions. food was brought totabke with smiles, good music, clean tables, great drinks to choose from.

First time here. Delicious. Chicken Tostada and taco crispy and very tasty. clean inside and staff was very helpful is describing the menu items. Fresh interior. I can't wait for the location nearer to me to open. I will be definitely be back to try other items.

Updating my review from last year. I have been a Someburros fan since the mid-90's from the Mill and Baseline location. I have visited many of their locations and have been very happy with the food served and service provided by the staff. It pains me to only be able to provide this location a one star review. I would give them no stars if the option was available. I have finally have pulled the ripcord and will no longer step food at this location. Let's start with service. It was a Sunday evening on 8/11. The young lady who took our order was clearly new and not familiar with the menu yet. That would have been OK if help was asked and her mindset was to be sure we received what we ordered. She instead snickered and advised what we ordered was not available as we are looking at the menu board. We had to send a plate back when it was served to us incorrectly. Who in their right mind would order a green chili burrito plate, then ask for beans to be substituted in the burrito?!?! What was requested was a green chili burrito plate with only rice and no beans. Then there was the Cody's Vegan tacos. They are always served with whole beans Instead, this visit made them with refried beans which must have dairy in them. My daughter who has a dairy allergy woke up the next day with severe rash due to her allergies. I am very grateful that it was only a rash and not a hospital stay or worse. The carelessness or lack of training at the Goodyear location has been very apparent for some time now. It just boggles my mind that this location is the black sheep and Someburros has not addressed it! BTW, this location has served us the Cody's Vegan tacos with cheese on a different visit. You will be able to tell by their ratings that they are either on or way off when it comes to execution of food and service(2.8 stars at the time of this review). The good thing, there are many other places to choose from!

Iven been in 2x to eat, 2x drive-thru. The 1st time we dined in, it was really good. Service & quality of food was good. I like the cold drinks they offer. The place is clean inside and relaxed. 2nd time was bad, the 2 carne asada burritos we got both had huge chunks of onion in them. My husband got really sick when he bit into it. 1st time drive though, food was good (burrito & a Diablo plate) concha was dry & hard . 2nd time was this morning at 8am (2/18/25). I got the chorizo plate and it felt like & looked like scraps/leftovers. The concha once again, was dry & hard, both times it wasnt wrapped properly. Will try again in the far away future. I was so confused by the reviews that I read before coming here. Our entire experience was great! The service was great, the place was well stocked with drinks and clean. Our food was fresh and delicious. I came in with my family of 5 plus my parents and in-laws and no one had one complaint. The kids really liked the churros and my husband liked his margarita. I didn't know about this place before but we will definitely be back!

This was a very disappointing location. We were so excited to try this new place in Goodyear. But it was terrible customer Service to start. Which you all know how I feel about that to begin with. I can not handle that to even start my visit. Then, I had to go over my order with the person at the front because when he repeated my order twice he repeated the order wrong. By the third time, I thought for sure he got it right. So when we got our food, to go, I took every plate out of the bag at a table to check that we in fact had gotten our order correctly. But could not be that easy. They certainly nickel and dime me for every extra little thing I wanted, which it all tasted a bit like bad fast food, actually there are very few fast food places that are bad. This is just a bad fast food place IN MY own opinion, this location had no flavor and I have a better chance of getting better flavor from Filobertos with WAY better prices. I certainly over paid for the bland meal and for the tiny extra salsa or guac or anything that should come with the meal. Example, I could get the same meal at Fiesta Mexicana and with better flavor with all extras added with out the over charge with BETTER customer service!!!!!. Without the attitude from the Manager, I guess that's who it was, after I showed up to the front, and asked for the extras that I over paid for and DID NOT get in my bag, and she had the nerve to get mad at me for asking for it. LOL when they are the ones that forgot to place in my bag LOL I always laugh at employees like this. But either way. Fiesta Mexicana is sooo good, go there instead. ;) :) :)

Stopped by for some take out lunch, first time trying. This is like a fast food restaurant up a not. Counter service and friendly staff. The food was good. Ordered the Poncho Villa- Soft flour tortilla filled with red chili beef, covered with red sauce and melted cheese, topped with sour cream and guacamole. For the price this was pretty good. My husband ordered cheese enchiladas. We also ordered a 1/2 pint of beans and rice. Only complaint is that they display one type of container but give you food in a completely different type. Displayed plastic, given styrofoam. Ordered a side of the green tomatillo sauce and it was quite hot. Again for something quick and inexpensive compared to other places, I would definitely try again. 20.00 bucks out the door

I was a bit worried with the reviews but I've never been to SomeBurros before and I have nothing to compare to. My wife and I stopped here for lunch and the food we decent. My wife had the #1 chicken taco and enchilada with red sauce. I had the borracho burro with green sauce. I have to say I liked the red sauce more and her meal was much better. The beef in my burrito was not as tasty and the flavor in the green sauce was a bit mild. Not sure we will be back to this location but I might try another in the future.

Whatever you do stay away from the Mexican pizza. It is basically a soggy, cheesy tortilla with chunks of meat and gravy. Worst Mexican pizza ever. The rest of the food was edible, nothing to write home about.

This place is A ok with me. Had their margarita which tasted like a slushy from QT. Their tacos and guacamole was fire! Will update more when I try other items on the menu. So for the first time experience will be back for sure!

I will have to say I was a little weary on trying this place after all the bad reviews from when they opened and I am assuming they were just unfamiliar new workers because we ate here today and It was absolutely amazing. First off they have plenty of employees keeping the place clean and serving food and really nice and helpful l from the person taking my order at the register to the person bringing us the food. I mean I'm not joking when I say they were so fast by the time after I ordered and got my drinks from the drink station and then sat down the server was right behind me with our food just amazing and I saw at least 4 other tables served the same just amazing. Now onto the food I'll start with the chips and salsa when eating inside we each got a little container of chips and 2 big bottles of salsa from behind the counter which was awesome that we didn't need to keep getting up and getting more , And then the main course we ended up getting a pollo Asada burrito combo with beans and rice and just a carne Asada burrito both were really good and a good serving size , I also felt like trying the chimi dessert which I got 1 cherry 1 chocolate and 1 apple which were good not my favorite but still good. Overall I will definitely be back to try some more of the food and will definitely be eating inside with that excellent and fast service .

Stopped by to try some burros as I've heard good things. The service was great, the ladies were so nice and our food came out fast. The restaurant is nice and clean and spacious. The reason I'm giving them a 2 star is because of the food. The food lacks authenticity and is very very bland. The hot sauce is also very bland and has no spice. They do have both mild and hot sauce and they both taste the same really. This place was probably a one and done for me.

Top dollar tacos: Some beef and lettuce in a cold greasy taco shell. I've given the place two tries. Just one more example of " how/why is this place popular?"

Found this piece of plastic and a hair in my enchilada combo. Disgusting!!! I would give zero stars if yelp allowed it. Absolutely nasty!!

I have wanted to post this a few times but am finally taking the time to do it. I have ordered the veggie burro at least a dozen times and received a bean and cheese burro. Let me say the staff has always been nice and will replace the burro with a veggie burro when I explain. The problem I imagine is management. Why does this continue to be an issue? A veggie burro is not a bean and cheese burro. How can the employees not know what's on the menu? When I order the veggie burro I get charged for the veggie burro, which is apx $2 more than a bean and cheese burro. So the staff up front understands the menu, apparently the kitchen does not. I am not exaggerating when I say this has happened a dozen times since they opened. I have noticed that it is more frequent when ordering at the drive through, easily half the time. Train your employees!

This location is never consistent. We went here to get 2 breakfast burritos without eggs. We get home and the burritos have eggs in them. We drive back to have them remade and ended up with 2 flavorless breakfast burritos. I'm not sure if the individual making food knows how to read but every time we dine here our order is wrong.

Quick Meal I have visited many of the SomeBurros locations and this chain is usually a good place for a quick meal at a reasonable price. The servings are generous, prices are wallet friendly, and your meal is served with a small amount of heated chips. The restaurants arent fancy or pretentious but they do serve good tasting Mexican fare with plenty of choices and friendly staff and service. I wish that I could say the same about this location but this visit just wasn't very good. On this visit we shared a red chili burro enchilada style, mini chimis/guacamole, taco, rice and beans. The taco was okay but the rice and beans didn't taste fresh and lacked flavor. The burrito and mini chimis were just okay, however, at other locations the taste was better. Maybe I visited on an off day and need to give this place another try.

I should have ready the reviews before ordering. Food was awful and bland and I expected ALOT better quality for spending $50+ on 2 people.

This place is now my favorite! Went there for dinner last night and had the Rod Burro. It was very nice you get to try both red and green chili beef in one! The customer service was also great, Shanna helped us out and she was amazing, will definitely be coming back. 10/10

I haven't been inside yet-just went through the drive-thru. The churro was good. It was supposed to be free if you join their app and sign up for their rewards program, but that wasn't the case for me for whatever reason. The queso burrito was pretty good and big. I liked the rice too.

Heard from some friends that this is a good place to eat. Was passing by and decided to give it a try. The service was quick and friendly. They started us off with chips and salsa. The chips were still warm which is always great. For my meal I went with the #1 combo plate. A chicken taco and cheese enchilada. The taco was super crunchy and the chicken was full of flavor and was not dry at all. The cost of the mean for two was not bad. I recommend the strawberry guava drink!

Not good. I ordered two street tacos and they were very soggy. They fell apart as soon as I picked them up to eat. Very disappointing.

Somebirros in Goodyear does it right. I'm no Mexican food connoisseur but they're pretty darn good. Did a drive through consisting of two carne asada quesadillas, beans and rice,tortilla chips and veggie salsa. The drive through went very fast. The food was deliscous. The chips were lightweight and not too salty. If you dip the chips through the salsa they don't need salt . The quesadillas were crazy good. The flavor of the meat was great and the whole thing is worth coming back for. I was here sometime last week and came back. Pricing is good compared to some other window food. Thanks really enjoyed our meal

Service has always been good and the food has been what you'd expect from a hybrid type of facility (mix between restaurant/fast food). Highly recommend the bacon breakfast burrito!

This place was so expensive for a quick eats drive through with not great quality of food. I'm pretty sure the guac was not homemade, the portions were small and the drive through took forever. Will unfortunately not be back and will be visiting local/fair priced places instead.

Alright everyone time for another first timer reviewer. Of course I had to get the "signature" dish they're know for so we went with the Pollo Fundido it's served with rice on the side no beans for $10.95. Price not bad at all cause I get the Pollo Con Queso from Arribas same thing and it's $16.99 but comes with rice and beans. So into the review food comes out shortly after you order, burro looks really good, cut into it and disappointment. It's mostly tortilla very little chicken. Good flavor but I don't want a mouth full of tortilla I'm looking for that juicy chicken. The little chicken in it didn't have the wow factor or melt in your melt. It was dry and tough. This has potential but the owner/manager needs to step in and step it up maybe provide more training or something cause it needs some help. Especially with all the Mexican food around it. Senor Taco, Filiberto's, Arribas, and Los Guerros.

Went here for lunch and ordered #9 2 tacos with beans and rice and then a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla did not have any chicken which was a major disappointment and my taco wasn't even a taco. Like how do you give this to customers?

We were excited to try this place when it opened! We went today after church and where do we start? We waited an extensive time after ordering one Carne asada plate. Groups of 4,5, and 6 were getting orders pretty quick. When our plate came it was cold. The side of guacamole came hot from being under a heat lamp so long so we didn't eat it. The "Burrito" only had a small amount of meat in it with sour cream. ‍ it was more like a sour cream taco rolled in a large tortilla 6 times. For a place that specializes in burritos, avoid at all costs, go down the street to Que Pasa for 1/2 the price and twice the meal.

Food is good, when they get your order right. The service is also the good, when they have certain staff. Seems to be ran by a young group. They will chat laugh as though you aren't there and you repeat your order several times. I called to let them know they messed up our order pretty bad ($130) and the "manager" said she can credit me $10. Haven't been back since. I just had the urge to stop by today but we will not be back for while or not at all to this location. There is on in Peoria but we go there maybe once a month. Pretty sad this could be a great place but the service needs A LOT OF HELP!!

Waited over a half hour just to receive this carne asada burrito and it's pretty pathetic. I opened it up because it was extremely cold and little. So disappointed.

Very average, but I didn't expect much. I wanted to try a tamales so I simply got a single beef tamale. There is no need for all that enchilada sauce on a tamale. It made it worse. Tamale has too much masa but was not horrible. Very average tamale. Chips and salsa were good. The spicy salsa is the only good one, though. Wife had taquitos, they were average. Son had mini chimis, not bad. I had a chorizo/egg/potato burrito. It honestly was worse than one from Filibertos. It was extremely dry and old. Won't need to go back, but I'm glad we crossed it off the list. It's a slightly nicer filiberto style spot.

One Star is Way to generous! The photos below say enough... Extremely disappointing! First and Last time I eat here! Don't waste your money! Some (of a) Burro is what you'll get! SMH

One of my boyfriends and i go-to's! Super yummy, super affordable, and there's always plenty of seating to choose from. I love the chips and salsa, and the amount of food you get is great for the price. We've never had bad service, and the decor Is super cozy and relaxing. Eyebrow piercing was very friendly, Great horchata btw!

We ordered delivery and it came in a decent time. Absolutely love the burrito fundido and the mini chimis. The tamales were completely bland and tasteless. No seasoning. Couldn't even really taste any flavor what so ever.

This place is had the worst costumer service ever! I asked for 3 extra hot sauces because their tiny a$$ plastic containers were half full and argued she wanted to charge me. I ask to speak to the manager because she was so rude arguing with me over hot sauce and she gave me a b!tch smile saying she is the "general manager" when she didn't act like one, very unprofessional and lack education on customer service. I ask for some that are full not half way full and still gave me the same hot sauce. I ask how many per burrito and didn't want to answer me she said a "handful" I replied "what is a hand full?" she said a "handful" so I asked to give me another hand full and then decided to say "2 per burrito!" Mind you these are half full and it's a big size burrito. This place I will not go back due to the lack of customer service and being so unprofessional. This place needs a experience general manager if this place plans to keep customers coming. One star just cuz I have too.

I've been eating at Someburros since the mid 90s and was very happy to find out they opened a location in Goodyear. We've been here 3 times since opening and have yet to be disappointed. Don't believe all the "Karen" reviews. This place is the same price as your local corner Mexican spot, but seems to use better ingredients and you get free chips. They have a great selection of fountain drinks (the strawberry guava lemonade is ) I get the fact people get upset about service, but this day and age I'm just happy to have staff in the building to serve me. I'm sure half these kids are still training...give them a break!

Let's see how this shakes out, we are about to order, so far so good? Only time will tell?

Yummmmm! My husband and I had some of the menu items at a party that catered in Some Burros. Chips and salsa was great, fresh chips! Beans and rice was good, the rice a bit dry but good flavor. I mixed the salsa in with my beans...delish, I ate 3 of the fried chicken tacos...BOMB, I also had one of the mini bean chimichangas....that was also really good! My husband had a beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, fried chicken taco, and beef fried taco...he loved it as well. By the time we got to eat it, the food was cool but still tasted amazing! We loved it so much that I looked it up as soon as I got home to find the nearest location to home...there's one 10 minutes from my house, jackpot!!!! I went there tonight to grab dinner for my husband and I, to my surprise they had a drive thru! Sweet...I didn't have to get out of the car! This was also surprising because I figured a place that serves food this delicious definitely wouldn't have a drive thru but they did! This does NOT TASTE LIKE FAST FOOD AT ALL! The girl over the speaker was friendly, helpful, and patient as I placed my first order ever with them. I ordered a few churros for dessert and they were really yummy as well. My food was ready quickly and was nice and hot! The prices are very reasonable, they could definitely charge more. But for the quality of the food and service I received I will go back again and again. Next time, I think we will dine in. It reminds me a bit of a Panera feel with ordering at the counter and having it served to your table..not a traditional sit down restaurant but definitely doesn't have a fast food fill. It looked very clean and new on the interior and exterior, from what I could see and there were a good amount of cars in the lot and people dining in. BTW- they were very kind at the pick up window with great attitudes...don't see that much these days. They gave my yorkie a pup cup...she will be a repeat customer as well! We will be back for taco Tuesday next week!!!

My family and I tried SomeBurros a couple of weeks ago for dinner. I got the nachos. They were good, but not really enough for dinner. I did ask if it was a dinner sized entree and was told it was more than enough, but I didn't find that to be true. They were the kind of nachos where the toppings are placed on each individual chip. If I had known this, I would've also gotten something else. My daughter liked her kids cheese quesadilla and my husband thought his pollo fundido was decent. However, the service at the drive through was good and I would try going again.

I hadn't realized Someburros was open yet until my friend asked if I wanted to tag along today for lunch. Heck yeah I did! Located just off the 10 in Goodyear the location is a lot larger than i though it would be. Parking lot is decent size. Once inside it's pretty nice and doesn't give off that fast food vibe. There is both inside and outside seating. You order at the counter and are given a number, drinks and chips with salsa then you chose your table and wait for them to bring out the rest. We ordered nachos, two sumburros bowls; one chicken and one carne asada, a fish taco, and plate of chimichangas with rice and beans. Everything came out pretty quick and was delicious. My chicken bowl was amazing and so filling. Great portions of food and a great visit. The guacamole was delicious as well. Hopefully they build one closer to my house because I really enjoyed it. Best protein bowl around IMO. Service was great and everyone was very nice.

Not impressed with the food. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and a small bag of chips. There was barely any filling and it was bland. For $7.90 + tax it was way over priced. The chips were stale too! Never going back.

Absolutely delicious and authentic! We have tried so many different places but this food has been as close to mom's than anything! Such flavor and delivery was simple! Thanks SomeBurros!

So much hope, so disappointing...1st time visit... Ordered in the drive through - lady was nice BUT said "What?" to literally every comment/question/beef vs chicken, etc. that I articulated loudly lol She clearly had a hard time hearing on a new speaker/mic system... not a great start. I told her we had a list of items YET after 1 items she would say, "Is that going to be it for you?"... "no...we have a few more items...and so on... We ordered 5 different items. Only the 1 combo plate was identifiable in the bag (it was in a round covered plate) BUT the various tacos we ordered were all just in individual bags. SMALL crispy tacos btw. They should take note from nationwide chains - spend another 1 cent per bag and get the product name on it i.e. "Quarter Pounder"...("Chicken Taco") We had to pry into each taco to identify it. One taco had potato (should have) and didn't. :-( Nothing authentic here of the items we tried today and we covered all Mexican menu basics. $3.45 for a taco as small and thin? No thanks.

This place just opened up by our house and we heard great things about it so we had to come and try it for ourselves. The red chili was very good, which I'm very picky about, but to my surprise I really enjoyed it. The beans and rice were very good, probably had some better beans but these are still tasty and you can tell they weren't from a can. The only thing we were disappointed in was the Pollo fundido, we've definitely had better but the burrito was pretty good sized. They have a really good drink selection with several different types of iced teas and Coke products also Horchata mango lime and Strawberry aguas. All in all I'll give it a four-star and we will visit again and try new things.

This location has gone down hill...Horchata tasted sour and the food was cold............................
