Someburros

Someburros was fine. I enjoyed the chips and salsa, the food took around 25 minutes to come out which seemed excessive for a fast casual spot that wasn’t busy. Service was friendly on ordering. I had the Machacha beef,egg, and potato burro. It was fine both ends took a few bites to get into any of the filling. Did like you can tell they use real eggs in it. My wife had the asada breakfast burro with a side of sour cream. Glad she ordered the sour cream to use some on mine as well as a little dry. It was fine we won’t be back but could have worse food in the price range.

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever had in Arizona. The tortillas were so dry and the meat inside was disgusting. It had a slimy texture and was flavorless. The green chili over the top was bland. The guacamole was definitely food service and terrible. The lettuce was yellow it was served on. The chips and salsa were the only redeeming quality. The iced tea tasted burned and tart because the container isn’t cleaned enough. Go anywhere else to eat!

Where have you been all.my life. 2nd time here first time was just a taco to hold me over... really good, but this time decided to sit down inside... Holy mother the red chili burro, covered in red chili enchilada style is off the chart. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Jenny, what a wonderful pleasant person. Very cordial... haven't tried other locations but if ever in Scottsdale definitely try this spot for great Mexican food...you will not go wrong no matter what you order... Tucson needs a location

My wife was at the Mayo hospital having surgery at 530am and she was going to be there for 6 hours and I was starving so I did a Google search for Best breakfast burritos near my location and Someburros came up so I drove there and even though dining area was open, I went through the drive thru and the lady on the other side of the speaker was the nicest person ever!! She took my order and made suggestions and when I pulled up to pay she was clean and nice looking and the smell of absolutely delicious food hit me in the face 😋. The best tasting breakfast burrito I've ever tasted was being devoured and I almost felt guilty for enjoying it so much while my wife was going through surgery but my experience at Someburros was just what I needed at the moment to relax my nerves and fill me up with delicious comfort food 😊 thank you Someburros and Google!!!

Well I'm from DFW area and I'm here for work. I ordered a burrito and 3 tacos. My burrito was fine but the tacos were all onion. I was looking for the meat in all of my onion. I don't even like onion so I pulled all the onion out with just like a teaspoon of meat. Not worth over ten dollars for a 3 onion tacos... :-(

LOVE Someburros! We eat here all the time. The staff is super friendly and the food is incredible. When my mom was visiting from out of state and asked where to eat that's most Arizona - this was where we took her. It's our favorite spot and we've been in Arizona for a combined 65+ years!

4 stars for everything except the authenticity!! Decent at best. Service is fantastic. Not exactly your real authentic Mexican food. Very good tasting. The best part is they cater so that’s a bonus. The other excellent choice is their location, next to Trader Joe’s!! Good place for a quick trip to get a bite to eat! Simple not fancy but nice and convenient.

Average food (maybe slightly above?), decent service, although good atmosphere inside. The Borracho Burro and Fundido are pretty good, filling and do have nice toppings. The ambiance is very nice if you are eating inside. Biggest complaint is that we have had 2 "to go" orders that were missing items we paid for. Very annoying to be missing food, especially if you are pressed for time.

Came in for the first time with the family never having eaten there and everyone was friendly and food came out quick but had great flavor, was hot and was everything we expected. Make sure to get the Lime/Mango drink.

Someburros is a good idea if you're short on time and craving tacos. Service was excellent and food was ready super fast We ordered pollo fundido and three tacos. Chicken was wrapped in corn tortillas but there was so much tortilla and it was very doughy with very little chicken. The tacos were really good though. Carne asada was our favorite. Enjoy!

We stopped by for lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The service was great and the food very good. This is not traditional Mexican but an American version.

Food has always been great here. I question the judgement of management for putting the gal working the drive thru right now in that public contact position. She doesn't understand English well enough to be in that job role. I asked her whether the restaurant has a dog friendly patio to which she looked at me confused. I repeated the question to which she replied, "You want an extra plate or what?!?!" This not only made absolutely no sense/did not answer my question ... It also felt abrasive, and I thought it was pretty unprofessional. Anyway, apart from that, I like how you can order ahead via phone & pick up through the drive thru. The man that took my phone order spoke perfect English. He fully understood me. I wish he had been working the drive thru too as there was great confusion as to who I was and what I had ordered from the same gal I mentioned in the preceding paragraphs. Please address this issue. I would recommend she work in the kitchen or alternate service role (not a public contact position) until she can more fluently speak English. This was a drive thru visit, but I have been inside many times over the years. Ambiance is nice. I have enjoyed many a meal with friends and family.

Yes I dared to drive near The Open at TPC today. I could see hordes of people walking towards the area. Many attendees used this parking lot for their overflow parking. Large golf carts cruised the area to take attendees to The open for a fee. Some burros was pretty empty which actually surprised me with all the foot traffic. Another burger joint next door was packed with cars waiting in the drive through. I viewed the menu and decided on the Pollo Asado burrito. Their WiFi requires a password which staff will give you at the register. Comp chips if you eat in. They will ask if you want mild or hot salsa. Once you have paid, grab your number, utensils and desired drink and take it to the table. My meal was delivered by a cheerful staff member. The chips were good and was the burrito. I ate half of it and was pretty full. Leftovers! The place is clean and tidy. Staff will bus your dishes once you are finished and have left the table. Shared parking lot.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times now. The food is fantastic. It is simple, fresh and delicious. The last time I ate there I woke up the next day wanting to go for lunch. So I did. Did not disappoint. They also have a drive-through. Don't miss this please if you want fantastic foot for a fair price.

Drive thru experience: 3 cars in line took forever just to move. They sell everything here. Food, Margaritas and N/A. I ordered a Pollo Fondido with rice, food was just basic. Rice was really dry and no flavor. The salsa was decent. I would give it another shot but NO DRIVE THRU!

Always a great experience at Someburros. We typically order through the drive through, but have also used delivery services. The food is fantastic and affordable. By far the best Mexican food for the money. You can get AMAZING food here and sooooo much more of it for less than what you would pay at Taco Bell. I'm an Arizona native and this is my favorite Mexican food place!

Much improved taste of the food. Both Tacos and enchiladas tasted great. They could have cleared used cutlery and plates faster as there were dirty tables everywhere. This left kind of a little bad taste.

This place has always been a go to when we want quick , tastes like home mexican food , this is it . Salsa's are great , tacos and burritos all are amazing , relaxing atmosphere and casual service . Could not ask for more when you come here

We have been loyal patrons of this establishment for a long time, frequently enjoying their offerings with great satisfaction. However, our recent visit was notably disappointing. I ordered a salad, a dish I've reliably enjoyed in the past, only to find it poorly prepared this time around. The lettuce was not properly drained, leaving the bottom of the bowl swimming in water, which significantly detracted from the overall taste and quality of the salad. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the response was lackluster, showing a disinterest in addressing the issue or making amends. This experience has left us questioning our future visits to a place we once held in high regard.

We come here regularly, but this time it was different. My wife ordered a bean tostada a dish she regularly enjoys. It arrived and looked hastily prepared with 50% less ingredients. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff who took the dish and pretended to do something but seemed more preoccupied, talking, and goofing around with each other. we sat here, dumbfounded for 15 minutes, In the end, the manager did return our money remade the dish correctly, and apologized.

Regularly order food from Someburro's. Food is consistently tasty and delicious each time I order. Beans are especially good in bean burros and on tostadas. Prices are reasonable and service is good at the Frank L Wright location.

Honestly, the deliciousness of the food was astounding. Having lived in North Scottsdale for 3 yrs amd coming from a place where good Mexican food is easy to find. I think that Someburros is some of the best I have had in a long time. I highly recommend.

Good food. Fair price. We come a few times a week. Even if you're looking for lower carbs there are salad options. I especially enjoy the Carne Asada.

We ordered 6 fiesta platters for an event, and the food was delicious! It traveled well and was enjoyed by everyone. The staff was very responsive, helpful, and easy to work with...and also very generous with the chips! Would definitely recommend and will for sure order again!

Went there for breakfast, and of course we got breakfast burritos and a side of beans for a healthy breakfast, drive thru was fast and food was hot. Burritos were good and good size, salsa tasted fresh, we will definitely be back for lunch someday soon

First visit. Hopeful based on reviews. Neither of us liked our meal especially my husband who had the carne asada burrito which had almost no carne asada but was filled with beans. The ice dispenser was out. We let them know. They never filled it the entire 45 minutes we were in the dining room despite multiple diners asking for ice. Both the Guava juice dispenser and the Horchata dispenser were empty. I can't fathom how this place stays in business let alone has good reviews.

I liked their meal options! We ordered to go. We ordered the following: Tamales Asada Burrito #1 combination Chicken Enchiladas. Generous portions Very compact packaging Piping hot food. Check it our guys.

NAH....17$ for a burrito and 3 taquitos what meal is 10$ w no drink ...and no fork ....wow I guess I will eat this rice with my hands .... Thanks Someburros

Amazing food! We love the shredded beef tacos they are my favorite! The Baja sauce is to die for! Amazing service either delivered, or in the store and we used them for catering, we picked up our own food, was safely packed for my son's wedding, everyone ate all of the refried beans and loved the food. The caterer was busy, but she went out of her way to guide us, so very nice! Great prices for all we had. Management treats you like family, conscientious, friendly. Clean restaurant, friendly, happy staff. They have a great rewards program too! We are big fans Thank you Scottsdale Sumburros!!

I contacted their catering people via the website and immediately heard back from Mallory Brewer, their Catering Director. She was extremely helpful, very fast, and was able to make last minute changes for me very quickly. She was a complete joy to work with. The day of the party, Riann delivered the HUGE order by herself, and she was so fast and efficient, I thought she had a group of people helping her. But no, it was only her! She was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh, and we received rave reviews for all of our guests. Our compliments to the chefs! I can't imagine the army of people it took to get this order ready for us. I will be using them for ALL of my events going forward. Thank you Mallory, Riann, the cooks and crew, for making this a wonderful event!

In most cases, I find that food at this location pretty solid, we went in tonight, and I ordered a green chili burrito. The tortilla was left on the flat top too long and was very dry and crunchy. The chili was not particularly moist. In fact it was rather dry. As always, the service was fast and friendly tonight was just not a good night on the food...

Been wanting to try this place for some time. Was pleasantly surprised they were so busy. But hey, that is a good sign. When we ordered my wife said you get chips and salsa, cool! So I asked for the hot salsa. It and the chips were delicious. The chips are thin and crispy. The salsa, very tasty and had some good heat. I had the Rod Burro, the wife had just a single chicken enchilada. As busy as they were our food was out in no time at all. And let me tell you, it was HOT. Temperature wise! Tasted really fresh, I really liked mine. The wife on the other hand said her enchilada was kind of bland. She said she will be ordering something different next time. I would order what I had again for sure. But next time I need to try something else on the menu, because there are a few other menu items I want to give a go. I'll have to ask next time if they have some extra jalapeños to throw on for me. I saw some nachos come out with some on them so I should be golden. They also have a good selection of bottled beer as sell as Margs. I will be having some of that the next time we go and the wife is driving!

My kids really likes the chips and salsa. Everything I have had from here is good, and the booths are comfortable.

UPDATE-12/09/23-Danny and the whole crew continue to deliver top quality food and service, clean restaurant and quick drive-up service. Even when Doordash screws up, which seems to be a lot, (No matter what restaurant you go to!), they try their best to fix the issue and I believe may be using another delivery service now. Places like this deserve to be recognized to keep them in business. I support my community and everyone mentioned above has a great work ethic and takes great pride in their job and company!

I love Someburro's food, it's the closet to homemade. I've been to several of their locations throughout the valley. This location's food is consistently as good as most of the other locations. I went in and immediately recognized the lady at the counter from my previous visits to the Uptown location. Abbey is running this location now, she and her crew are doing an amazing job!! My last visit to the Uptown location was very disappointing. I will be frequenting this location from now on instead. Thank you Abbey for today's lunch, it was the best!!! *The location at Uptown would benefit from Abbey's leadership.

Someburros Did takeout on National Chili Day where Someburros celebrated by having $3.00 Red or Green Chili Burros. We ordered 4 - Green Chili Burros and 2 - Red Chili Burros. So this was our dinner, they don't look real large, but they are filling, we had one Burro each for dinner. Actually refrigerated the others and snacked on the others later in the week, also like eating them cold which I love when the green chili sauce gets absorbed in the tortilla. Personally, these are gringo type Mexican food, not a bad price but the "berto" burritos still are a favorite.

I was very pleased with the quick service. The food is always delicious every time I come here. I believe her name was Payton but she did a excellent job helping my family with our order and was very friendly which made our experience 10 times better! Definitely will be back soon :)

One of my go to places. The restaurant is clean inside and the staff is friendly. Some of my favorites are the shredded beef tacos, green chili beef chimichanga, and the pollo fundido. Love the chips and veggie salsa as well.

Came to someburros today for national burrito day and their $4 bean and cheese burritos. Placed my order online, it was convenient to customize and schedule a time for pick up. Quality of the burrito is okay, it's bigger for a basic bean and cheese burro. But lack any flavor.

This review is solely for their breakfast burrito. This is your place for a quick breakfast burrito that will hit the spot. I always get the bacon breakfast burrito... it's your typical- with potato and cheese. Their salsa is really delicious and has a kick to it. The best part is that you can get your breakfast burrito from a drive thru so when you want to be in your pjs and want breakfast you can stay in your car. This is my go to breakfast burrito spot in the area!

Been coming here for years. Started back when I worked close by and it was perfect for lunch as they are quick, but the food doesn't taste "quick" if you know what I mean. everything tastes fresh and delicious. Some of my favorites are the veggie burro (try it as a chimichanga), the original taco salad, or pollo fundido. The chips and salsa are just ok, but the churros are delish! Service is always quick and friendly. The place is clean and they are following covid protocols! I wish I lived closer as honestly I would continue to go weekly as I used too!

We visited at an odd time. 3pm. We found service to be super fast and very nice. While we at on a nearly vacant lobby, the staff was busy cleaning the drink station and making sure tables were clean. We asked for an extra sour cream while we were seated. She delivered the SC, and brought my change back. Food was delicious and way more than we could eat.

My family and I walked into the restaurant and it was clean looking and pretty quiet. I liked the silence. There was no line at all and the wait time for the food was around 20 minutes. We ordered several breakfast burritos and they allowed me to make up my own breakfast plate. I ordered Spanish rice with pinto beans and an egg (over medium) laid on top. They were all delicious with excellent flavor. My family and I like to add hot salsa though. We always have breakfast here because it's fast and yummy.

This place has been on my hit list for awhile now. I don't get over to North Scottsdale that often but was in the neighborhood and grabbed the opportunity to finally give them a try. Not disappointed at all. If. You've lived in Phoenix for any amount of time, there is a certain "type" or style of Mexican food we've all become accustom to, ala Carlos O'Brien's, Macayos, Mi Familia, etc. I would put Someburros in with that group and say the execution is fantastic. I had the Someburros Bowl with carne asada, rice and beans. Perfect, excellent flavor and a very generous portion size. Princess had tamales with rice and beans. She's a little harder to please and was very satisfied with the meal (thanks Team!) Love the fountain drink area, wide array of choices and very clean. Looks like they do lots of specials as well as support the neighborhood. The Resturant was spotless, including the bathroom. I found the counter help polite and friendly. Food came out fast and with a good presentation. I've said it before, fast food businesses are hard to run, but this one is hitting on all cylinders. Great choice for excellent Mexican food at a very fair price in a terrific setting.

Ordered tacos and a quesadilla. The meat in the tacos was overcooked and hard. The quesadilla had a half soft shell and a pile of gross mush on top. Would not recommend this food, especially for carryout.

I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed this Someburros location yet!?!? We all frequently visit, dine-in, and have it delivered. The main big miss, are the ratios within burros. Either, all of one item, such as cheese, meat, etc, are in one big spot, or they do not do any requested changes to your order. --MISS: Usually do not change or add to our orders here, which really does say something GREAT about this place! Had take out today, and as times before, a complete miss on my CHORIZO-EGG-POTATO-CHEESE-BURRO. This is the only item that is ever asked to alter,.. MUCH less chorizo, and an extra egg, is better 'for me',.. (guaranteed HIT for others, as it's packed with meat!). --!!HIT!!: Took it to the counter to ask them to please fix it. BEST DECISION EVER!! I just want more!! IT WAS THE MOST PERFECT I'd had in a long while from anywhere!! --!!HIT!! : Their food is always freshly prepared, and very yummy! AMAZING TORTILLAS and sauces!! I mix the HOT & MILD together - YUM!! SERVICE is always top notch!! They're always so thoughtful and gracious!! The whole place is clean inside and out!! Very rarely do we see otherwise, which suggests a busy moment just before. Love their TACO TUESDAY and their CELEBRATORY SPECIALS!!

Come on Someburros! I've been a huge fan but for whatever reason this location always screws up my drive thru order. Always forgetting food I ordered or giving me incorrect food. Not even exaggerating, you probably owe me at least $50 worth of missing food.

I've been here about three times now and forgot to leave a review. I love the fact that there's a drive through but restaurant quality Mexican food and they offer indoor dining. The employees are always very friendly the service is quick and always hot and fresh by the time I still get it home. I recommend the pollo fundido it's delicious! The cheese crisps are huge and delicious the perfect amount to feed my two kids. They even offer to go margaritas which I haven't tried but will never time.

Over priced for bland food. No seasoning at all. Very inconsistent on portions and balance.

One of our favorite local spots for a quick, inexpensive dinner! My favorite is the veggie burro with rice and beans, which comes with chips and two kinds of hot sauce. So. Much. Food! The service is always fast and friendly.

Was craving cheese enchiladas and my usual go to for those are Blanco Tacos + Tequila. Ordered two cheese enchiladas and a churro to go with it. The red sauce and tacos shells were spot on, where I felt the enchiladas fell short was the cheese. The inside cheese wasn't properly melted, I'm going to call it "sweated". When you're a cheese fan, you look forward to the oooey gooie center and these just did not deliver. I'd definitely either stick with the Pollo Fundido or get something else entirely. The churro was awesome.. maybe I should have just made a meal out of churros?

I visited today during lunch break from work. I ordered the pollo fundido, it was ok not the best burrito you will have. The rice was excellent which is wierd because the rice shouldnt taste better than the burrito. I ordered a side of guac because they give you free chips with sauce which is nice. The guac.... gross it tasted like it came out of can not even home made. Come on guys not hard to make guac you cut open the avocado and get the middle seed out then mix it up with seasoning. Overall, not very good food won't be coming back with my fiance. If you want something good go to cocina madrigal.

My husband and I are visiting from NC. This place is 2 minutes from my parents. I have been here before but that was way before I had the Yelp app. I ordered some food online and was able to pick it up through their drive thru pick up. My order was small and was ready very quickly. I love anything on their menu with chorizo. Especially the breakfast burritos. My ordered was prepared very well and it was all very tasty. The salsa they make is very good! I will be coming here a few more times before we head back home. Thanks for making good food you guys!

Went for the first time today. Ordered the bean and cheese burro with rice added. Solid burrito and will be my go to when I have a craving.

Thought we would try this fast foodish place out because of the catchy name. Grateful they have beer! Negro Modelo was a must! Got the green and red burro. Thought it was good. The extra charge for the hotter salsa was no bueno.
