The Best 10 Restaurants For A Last-Minute Group Dinner In London - London - The Infatuation

"When the stars align and everyone happens to be free, it can feel too good to be true. And sure enough, some people start saying they just want a drink and some are ravenous. And you know the people who say they don’t want to eat, will do after a couple of pints. Head to Someday, a huge two-storey cafe/bar in Finsbury Park, with that whole cool band posters and low-slung ‘70s sofas thing going on. It’s open from lunch until late every day of the week, and come 5pm the indie soundtrack is turned up and the house margaritas really start flowing. It’s also home to street food brand Ace Pizza’s chewy crust slices, including the must-order Honey Pie, which matches chillies and spicy salami with a drizzle of sticky honey. There’s usually plenty of same-day availability too." - rianne shlebak, jake missing, heidi lauth beasley

Someday - Review - Finsbury Park - London - The Infatuation

"When you hear ‘margarita and spritz bar’, you probably don’t think ‘perfect place to get some work done’. But—plot twist—this Finsbury Park spot is exactly the kind of all-day bar and restaurant where you can bed in for several hours to gobble up the wifi and drink an unholy number of flat whites. A huge two-storey space with that whole cool band posters and low-slung ‘70s sofas thing going on, Someday is open from lunch until late every day of the week, and come 5pm the indie soundtrack gets turned up and the house margaritas really start flowing. It’s also home to street food brand Ace Pizza’s chewy crust slices, including the must-order Honey Pie, which matches chillies and spicy salami with a drizzle of sticky honey. If you’re desperately seeking somewhere for a last-minute dinner with a group, there’s usually plenty of same-day availability. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

This sure is an odd place. Decent drinks at a reasonable price during happy hour coupled with epic pizza by the slice mean it's worth popping in to for a drink or two after work. However, it's seriously lacking in atmosphere and being outside the station means it has limited "comfort" for standing outside the pub. Go for a slice, have a happy hour margarita and then head to somewhere else.

Very nice spot! Lovely margaritas, especially the coconut one and absolutely amazing pizza! I recommend the dips as well. Garlic mayo and hot honey was just a heavenly combo. The staff is also very friendly and nice :))

Well this was a bit of a surprise, but very much on a good way. We were grabbing something to eat before a show at the local Park Theatre and this was one of the possibilities. It just happened to be the first place we saw coming out of the tube station (Finsbury Park, Seven Sisters Road exit), so we opted for it. It was Taco Tuesday, two tacos and a drink (limited selection, but still good) for £10. They also do two slices of (Alby's) pizza and a house Marg(arita) or house lager for the same price on a Sunday, just so you know. I went for the Fried Chicken Tacos with a pint of Inch's cider, my daughter went for two slices of pizza (Meguez and Pepperoni) and the the Green Tea Cooler, we also had House Fries and Elite Corn Ribs on the side. ALL the food was fresh and delicious. For us the star was the corn Ribs, full of flavour and plenty of them. Highly recommend this place for some tasty casual dining when you're in the area. We were too busy eating to take photos. Sorry, not sorry.

This place is excellent!! The food, the warmth, the music and the drinks. All incredible in taste and value. There's no other bar like it, you can have a date and also host a birthday party. I never regret visiting and nor will you. House cocktails are solid too.

Great location, kind staff and good customer service. Staff was nice and welcoming, price are reasonable and the pizza is definitely a must have. Today for a special occasion we decided to be brave and order the large pizza and it was the best choice. Thanks Alessandro it was a pleasure. Well done

Went here on a Friday night and had a great experience. The atmosphere was lovely, and the pizza was fantastic—huge portions, so one is easily enough for two or even three people. The cocktails were also really good. It wasn’t too busy, which made for a relaxed evening. Plus, the location is super convenient, right next to Finsbury Park tube station. Definitely recommend!

Was a great time Friday the 21st of November. We had a massive gorpu of 20-30 of us and had our own space upstairs. Great prices and friendly staff members. Loved it!

Great new bar, just what the area needs. Best pizza ever, love it by the slice. Tacos and calamari amazing. Delicious margharitas, 2 for £12 is amazing value. Lovely friendly staff, great service. So easy to get to, just follow signs for Wells Terrace and it's right outside the station.
