Love their wine flights and charcuterie boards! You can tell that they put a lot of love into curating everything that’s on the menu, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful if you’re not a wine connoisseur :) they are happy to share their passion! Lovely space inside and out — especially if you’re able to sit outside when the weather is nice beneath the live oaks and twinkly lights, or by the fire! I love that they provide a basket of blankets to keep guests comfortable.

Love this little spot and very much look forward to the Nexton Location! Recently went for a wine tasting and it was. Great! The staff is amazing and knowledgeable! The charcuterie is perfect and the wine is delicious!

This is a great place to go to enjoy with friends and family. The staff is pleasant, and their knowledge of wine is impeccable. Please visit if you are on the island. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The cheese and meat options are amazing. They always keep new cheeses and wine on the menu.

Had a great afternoon at Somm- wonderful hospitality and comfort while the ladies and gents drank their pink wine and wine flights. Local IPA was great, but IPA from MI was slightly oxidized - though a wonderful option on the menu to try. Lovely outdoor patio. Inside felt like you are drinking with friends in your living room. Great staff, can’t wait to come back.

Somm is a fantastic option to Johns Island. Very popular, can be a bit packed/loud. Went during off peak time and were some of the only ones there - fantastic because we sat at a corner leather couch. My wife isn’t a big wino (or a drinker in general) and surprisingly they could accommodate 2 options of sparkling non-alcoholic wine. This is shocking because - who even has that? We have only found 1 other place… I’m already impressed. We got a charcuterie board and a red wine flight - fantastic all around. Good service, good ambiance, quality wine and drink, easy parking…win all around.

First visit tonight - loved it! Delicious food, great wine selection, knowledgeable and friendly team! Wish I had taken a pic of the burrata as well. Delish!

If you do anything in Johns Island, I would highly recommend going to the Somm Wine bar. Jordan and Bobby are both knowledgeable and friendly. The passion they have for wine and cheese and bringing an enlightening experience to each customer is amazing. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and clean. The wine, cheese, bread, and butter boards were both delicious and plated beautifully. The desserts offered were delicious as well. 10 out of 10, I will definitely go back.

My family and I were spending a day in Charleston and decided to venture out to John’s island where we came across this beautiful red building! Intrigued, we decided to stop for a couple minutes! Those couple minutes turned into 4 amazing, family fun hours! If you’re looking for a phenomenal wine experience, look no further than Somm Wine bar! Their menu is a winery masterpiece. Offering an incredible selection of wines that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making our visit a true pleasure. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be stopping here again. Truly amazing place.
