Google
We came across this spot while cruising around Epcot and were intrigued by the plant based bratwurst option with chips. When we originally looked at the menu, we didn’t see that option however we were informed that they can make a plant based option but it’s a bit of a wait, about 20 minutes. We decided to do the quick service option to get the bratwurst (I mean I don’t know where else I can get a plant based option for this!) and it did not disappoint! The value for the items were amazing! I’ve read many reviews saying that it’s expensive, but I think the value for the meal is great, especially if you want to try different options at Epcot, the price is decent! The atmosphere was very lovely as well, very fun. The staff were so lovely also, 10/10 experience! Even if you aren’t on a vegetarian diet, I’d recommend giving it a shot! Don’t forget to grab your free cup of water to go along with your meal. I can’t wait to visit again, maybe this time I’ll sit in.

The pretzel bread pudding is the best food I had in Epcot! So delicious! Pairs really well with the Dunkel beer, which was top tier!

Google
Puts the worst in bratwurst. Bun had 0 flavor and had apparently been under a heat lamp, for I'm guessing 4 hours. The bratwurst it's self. 0 flavor, there is a reason they sell it with a ton of sauerkraut. $30 for a bratwurst and a beer. To get absolutely terrible food. But hey. The chips were actually pretty good.

Eran Dromy

Google
Only good for grabbing a beer, I don't recommend ordering food here. The food here was the worst I ate at Disney. I ordered the Bratwurst, and after moving the, not so tasty, sauerkraut I noticed the sausage under it was extremely small. The bun was dry and crumbled while eating it. The chips that came with the dish were so hard it was painful while chewing. But the beer was okay...

We were looking for some real food (more than a snack) while walking around everywhere in Epcot. Luckily for us, there were some good options in Germany Pavilion. They had a Biergarten Restaurant, but we didn’t want to have that much food, and we were not interested in drinking beer just yet… And they thought of people like us, they had a kiosk outside the restaurant called Sommerfest, where you can purchase a la cate items. The food offering at the Snack section is limited, but it had what we wanted, Bratwurst! It is served on a freshly baked roll with sauerkraut and house-made paprika chips. My goodness this thing was GREAT!!! Bratwurst was super plump and juicy underneath the mountain of fresh sauerkraut, packed with flavor and oh-so-satisfying! The chips were really nice too, super crunchy and tasty. It was exactly what we wanted and more!

Google
You must go here for the pretzel bread pudding. If you want beer or a bratwurst you can get that here too, and they are pretty basic. But that bread pudding is 10 out of 10 and it's a must-have on any trip to Epcot. The Cast Members from Germany that work here are always cheerful and fun to talk to as well.

Google
Awesome!! The bratwurst and kraut, with paprika chips is to die for. This will definitely be something I get every trip to the showcase. The Nudel Gratin (Mac n Cheese) was so good also!! We had the apple strudel with vanilla sauce also, which was also great!

Google
The pretzel bread pudding is a great Great little dessert to try. Quite reasonably priced being around $5. Would definitely get it again on my next visit.

Yelp
Vegan sausage (we think it's beyond) is soooo flavorful, pretzel bun is soft, hefty amounts of sauerkraut. Wonderful vegan option! It wasn't on the menu but they should have it just ask.
google avatar

Yelp
I was super excited about a giant German pretzel from the Germany pavilion in EPCOT, sadly this one was disappointing. It was GIANT, like bigger than my head, but honestly cold and super dry. I grabbed some mustard to add and that helped a little bit. Definitely would skip this snack and try some of the other amazing bites in the park! Extra points for this great picture I got of it though!
google avatar

Alexander Y.

Yelp
I would have been quite remiss if I visited EPCOT and didn't get a freaking bratwurst from the German pavilion. Timing worked out well since I had a heavy winner. Now THIS was a proper bratwurst! A thick piece of meat with an absurd amount of sauerkraut. It was exactly everything I had hoped for! Well worth the wait.

Yelp
This was one of the destinations as part of my "drink around the world" adventure at Epcot where I got one drink from each country in the park. Sommerfest is located in the Germany section of the park. It's a small walk-up window where you can either order at the kiosk there or order on the Disney app beforehand for mobile pick-up. I got the schöfferhofer pink grapefruit hefeweizen ($11.50) which was very light and refreshing. It was easy to sip even for a person who doesn't gravitate toward beer. This was great and one of my favorite drinks from the "drink around the world" series.
google avatar

Jamie T.

Yelp
Bratwurst was great as well as the chips but the true star was the Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen! Don't miss out on it, it's GREAT!!! Service is very fast so go here to eat if you want to squeeze in a meal. Ambiance includes being very hot in the summer so make sure to save a table before heading inside.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here to try one thing. The pretzel bread pudding and it did not disappoint! I love bread pudding and I love pretzels so when I heard about this treat I knew I had to try it. It was salty and sweet and dense. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Nicole Y.

Yelp
Was a miss for me. The chips were super crunchy, to the point where they hurt my gums when I chew. I don't know how older people can eat this thing given their even more sensitive mouths. The bread was too thick and I was hoping the sausage would be bigger. The sauerkraut was good, no complaints here. Service was quick and we were provided free water. One thing I do have to note is that there are limited seatings so many people were just sitting outside on a curb. We managed to get a table right outside the store but it was really dirty. The service crew could do a better job cleaning the tables.

Yelp
DISAPPOINTING BRATWURST AND JUMBO PRETZEL We did not enjoy our lunch at Sommerfest (EPCOT Germany). We ordered the Bratwurst ($12.19) and Jumbo Pretzel ($11.99). The bratwurst sandwich was small (like what you would get at an EPCOT festival). The bland tasting and barely warm sausage was served on a dense and stale roll. The pretzel was very large but it was also dense and bland tasting. It was disappointing that there was no whole grain spicy mustard schmear for the bratwurst or a special mustard dip for the pretzel. Park Admission: EPCOT admission required Disney Mobile Food Ordering App: yes Annual Passholder Discount: no

Yelp
Pretzel. Bread. Pudding. Just get it! I've had this several times and it's consistently tasty, warm and just the right amount of salty to sweet. If you are a fan of bread pudding, you should definitely check this out. You can mobile order but there usually isn't a line since Sommerfest is hidden next to the Biergarten restaurant.
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
Their pretzel is too bread-y. I'm used to pretzel that are chewy in a similar consistency as Philadelphia pretzel factory pretzel, for reference
google avatar

Neha M.

Yelp
I just stopped here to get a shot real fast! The honey and bourbon shot lured me in! mmm mmm was it good..The food smelled exceptionally good, I wish I had tried a brat at least...but the shot alone was awesome.
google avatar

Yelp
A great place to stop and snack in the Germany pavilion! They have a small menu that's available right at the line entry and overhead at the registers. The bratwurst was a touch disappointing in that I would have liked a different bun. I basically pulled half the bread off just so I could eat it. However the flavor was great!! The mac and cheese was good! Hubs wasn't the biggest fan, but the baby and I liked it and shared that one. It was really quickly served and it's a little hidden so the line is usually short. They stopped serving pretzels here, but you can get them just around the corner at the food kiosk at the pavilion entry. Overall: A Good food, decent pricing, and quick! Great stop off for quick serve style food.

Yelp
The Pink Grapefruit beer was delicious and light. It doesn't really give you that bloat that normal beer gives. I wish there were more places to sit to enjoy the food but when we did get to eat it, the bratwurst was well seasoned and the bread was fluffy and toasted well. The chips were savory and nice to have with the drink but as others have stated already, not my top choice in Epcot.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
First off let me start by saying, PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP SERVING THE PRETZEL BREAD PUDDING!!!! It's just that delicious !!! It's tender, moist, fluffy, and warm with every bite.. I absolutely adore this dessert. It's also very affordable and a really nice portion. You have definitely got yourself something unique and special Disney!! it's located in Germany in the world showcase in Epcot . Conveniently located and easily accessible. I'll definitely be coming back for more on my next visit... PLEASE KEEP THIS TREASURE ON YOUR MENU FOR MANY MANY YEARS TO COME !!

Yelp
I was hoping that there would be more of a selection for quick services especially during the wine and food festival. The only QS offered was brats and super pretzels. The brat was a tad undercooked and lacking flavor. The paprika chips were stale. But since I paid a premium I had to make it work.
google avatar

Yelp
While waiting at the beer cart in Germany, my friend stopped at the Sommerfest cart to pick up a bratwurst to share. There are also needs available at the Sommerfest cart, too. What has been super popular the past few months is the German grapefruit beer, the Schofferhofer Grapefruit shandy. It was super sweet and delicious at only 2.5% alcohol. My friend also picked us up a bratwurst that was coated with the works: the usual ketchup, mustard and the necessary German sauerkraut. It also came with a side of heavily seasoned chips. Feeling like some beer and brats without having to sit down for a full buffet style meal? The Sommerfest cart is for you!

Yelp
Pretty good! The Bratwurst was tasty, but a little small. It did come with sauerkraut and a couple chips though. It is a good place to eat, but not my top choice in Epcot. Would recommend though!
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
We had the bratwurst and the pretzel bread pudding. The bread pudding is an absolute must, it was so delicious, one of the best sweet treats we had at Epcot. The prices are pretty reasonable for Disney, $13 for the brat and $5 for the dessert. We used to mobile ordering option and our order was ready quickly. Would certainly come here again.
google avatar

Andy J.

Yelp
The bratwurst is a little disappointing here (bread to meat ratio) but that is more than made up for by the apple strudel. It costs less than many of the Food & Wine booth dessert offerings and is huge by comparison. Plus it tastes amazing!!! Then you have three German beer selections to pair it up with. The big hit this year seems to be the Schofferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen. If you like grapefruit you must try this beer! The German potato salad gets an honorable mention here too.

Yelp
This is a stop we make each and every time we are in EPCOT. Located in the back center of the Germany Pavilion, Sommerfest is a quick counter service restaurant that offers up some great snacks, brews, and awesome shots! First and foremost: do NOT miss out on the nudel gratin. Sooooo yummy and totally not your run of the mill blue box macaroni cheese. Not sure what they do or how they do it but this is some amazing stuff! Now you're going to need something to pair with their amazing nudel gratin and might I suggest a shot of their Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon. If beer is more your speed, fret not; they've got plenty to satisfy any needs, including a delicious Grapefruit Hefeweizen. Last time I was there they were out of the Honey & Bourbon and instead I had the Berentzen Apfel Shot and it was quite tasty as well. This is a great stop as you make your way around World Showcase and the hot German boy eye candy ain't so bad either. Prost!

Yelp
Pleople eating on the floor no tables at all. Unbelievable, you are paying to get to Epcot center and at the Germany pavilion, they do not even have tables for people to eat after paying around $20 per person (bratwurst for $10.29, an apple strudel for $ 4.79 and a beverage for $3.69) Very uncomfortable!!! And a disappointment!! I guess welcome to Disney!!! Check out the pictures!!
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
I came here to try the nudel gratin and glad I did. It was delicious and the perfect serving. It is very inexpensive. My son had the bratwurst and said it was very good. The seating is outside for this place and the staff is not to friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Sommerfest is my favorite quick service restaurant at Disney. Located in the Germany section of EPCOT, Sommerfest serves German food and beer. We started with a pretzel. It was soft, salty and had wonderful flavor. For entrees we tried the frankfurter and bratwurst. Both were excellent. The buns were fresh and complimented the sausages perfectly. The bratwurst was my favorite. Topped with sour kraut and mustard, it really was good. We also had two very good German beers in souvenir mugs. The mugs were plastic, which was lame, but the beer was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant. Note: Disney dining plan is accepted. Each meal costs one quick service meal credit.
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
Sommerfest was on my list to try out in Epcot's World of Showcase, and of course I was in for their German Sausage and Beer. Once you're inside, you get in line and you can already see their short menu on a pole. There's two choices of sausages and that is the Bratwurst or the Frankfurter. I wanted to make sure I got the best one. I asked the cashier at the booth what's popular between the Bratwurst or the Frankfurter? He had told me to go with the Bratwurst because its grilled and that was all I understood from him because, he had a thick German accent. So how could he go wrong? and by reading his name plate badge he's from Hamberg Germany. I went what he suggested. "Bratwurst Combo" ($9.99). This sausage was beefy but, there was no taste to it. Even with the sauerkraut toppings the sweet and soured cabbages doesn't help it much. I added packets of hot mustard and it did give it a tiny bit of flavor. I wasn't a fan with the baked roll it was a big piece of bread and its dense, it made everything too plain. This order comes with crispy Paprika potato chips, the seasoning tasted like curry. The best part I got out of this place was my choice German beer "Erdinger Dunkle" ($9.50). What caught my attention is the dunkle, that means dark wheat beer. If you had stouts before it's comparable to it. It's malty, smells good and tastes great. Sommerfest is not bad at all. I was hoping to get a good pairing of German sausage and beer. When I do get an opportunity to comeback, I'd like to try out the Frankfurter and another round of delicious beers.
google avatar

Chrissy S.

Yelp
This is on the food and drinks. We drank around the world and got the Schofferhofer Pink Grapefruit and rate it 8.8 out of 10. We also go the Frankfurter which was delicious with some spicy chips and the Apple Strudel which was fantastic.
google avatar

Joseph A.

Yelp
Great stop while you are making your rounds through Epcot in the world showcase. The pretzel was large and delicious and the beers were refreshing.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Not a lot of options, but your staple German food - bratwurst with sauerkraut and paprika chips. Paprika chips take me back to my days living in Germany. I'm pretty sure nowhere else in the world has them, so I was delighted to order them with my brat. Prices are of course too high, but that's what you expect at Disney. If you want an authentic German brat with beer, this is your place!
google avatar

Mimi T.

Yelp
Sommerfest is a quick service dining locale. I've heard a lot about their Nudel Gratin and was quite excited to try it. It was definitely cheesy but I found it all to be a little too mushy, including the noodles that were way too soft. The dish was really heavy and oily as well. The entrance for us seemed a little hard to find as well, since it's next to a restaurant, while we were just looking for a quick grab and go (which we read you could do). There also didn't seem to be any seating that we could find except for the fountain in front of it. All in all, an okay stop for a snack but the Nudel Gratin didn't meet our expectations. (Also not sure if I can tell the difference that they used cheese custard.)
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
So when the Frozen ride broke down had to ease my nerves with a fine beer. Luckily they had a refreshing grapefruit heff to wash down my brat. Both were excellent and makes me long for my soon to be second home near Munich and the Alps
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
Awesome brats and beer in Epcot without a reservation. This place is located to the side of the biergarten in the Germany pavilion. Two registers/two lines, and I had to wait only 5 minutes. The brat and sauerkraut were very tasty. The sausage came with some homemade chips that could have used a bit more seasoning. Packets of mustard are located to the side. The grapefruit hefeweizen was delicious with the brat. We also enjoyed some nudel gratin. The baked mac and cheese was quite creamy and good. The only bad thing is that the beer was expensive.

Noah A.

Yelp
The bratwurst is a little better than one-star. Consistency is not typical of bratwurst. Fkavor has hints of bratwurst, but is missing a more richer flavor. Based solely on the bratwurst, save your money and but two gingerbread milk shakes next to Test Track. I enjoy the Bietharten, but Sommerfest might as well close. No added value from the bratwurst.
google avatar

Catherina F.

Yelp
I had heard they had some good potato salad from this youtube channel I watch so I had to try it out for myself. The potato's weren't the type of cooked I like but I suppose they make them differently in Germany. But it was a nice snack in the end. I had someone in my group try the bratwurst and they loved it! My parents also love the bratwurst from this quick service. So I do insist you get that the next time you come here. It came with chips which were a good side. I just wish it had french fries instead. Outside they have a couple tables out for you to sit on, sometimes you might have to camp out to get a chair but for the most part, you can eat and walk if you'd like. Very clean and organized quick stop. And they have a grapefruit schofferhofer which is so refreshing!! Always get that when i'm in the Germany Pavillion.

Jordan M.

Yelp
Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. I wanted a Dunkel, but this location didn't have it. The bratwurst was $10.99. Everything about it tasted fresh. The bread wasn't stale and the sauerkraut was warm. With the chips, it was a very filling meal. I added mustard which I highly recommend. The foot long hot dogs else where is a little bit of a better deal, but those aren't always nearby. I could eat this again for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Brats and beer, what more can ya ask for in a quick lunch? Sommerfest is a small food stand located in the Germany section at World Showcase in Epcot. This little stand offers bratwurst, frankfurters, hand rolled pretzels, beer and a few desserts. My wife and I had been eating sweets all morning while visiting Epcot so when we came across this stand while touring Germany we knew we had to stop and get our meat fix. We ordered one brat and one frank. Both of these was served on a soft roll with steamed sauerkraut. Both the brat and the frank were delicious. They both had great flavors and had a nice snap. The sauerkraut was also great. To wash down this food we got two large iced teas (I wasn't in the mood for beer at that moment). The service and prices were both great. Once my order was placed it only took a few minutes to get my food from the pick up window. For both the brat and frank and the two drinks it cost only about $15 bucks, which was good for a quick bite.
google avatar

Steven A.

Yelp
I'm surprised myself in giving Sommerfest the perfect 5 but they really deserve it. The menu is simple but hey that just means those items have to be very good. We ordered a bratwurst to start and it was delicious. The roll was a bit large compared to the sausage but it was still a great roll. The sausage was not dry or overcooked at all as well. We then ate the frangipane peach tart and it was something else. It was delicious and not just a peach filling inside but a peach right on top. I really enjoyed it and hope it's there next time as well. The grapefruit Hefeweizen was actually a huge standout for my wife. Surprisingly maybe Germany is the can't miss land in Epcot for food and drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
While on vacation, we came to Epcot several times. One of the places we love is Germany. We came to the Sommerfest several times during the week. Bratwurst with the sauerkraut was amazing!!! The Pretzels were fresh and tasty. The one thing I loved more than anything was the grapefruit beer. It was amazing!!! When not in the mood for a pricy big dinner, this is a good place to come. At times nothing beats a cold beer and a hot dog.

Yelp
Their Nudel Gratin is the best quick service meal on the planet.. Great value and absolutely delicious.. very shareable...love it!!! A must at EPCOT!!! Today I ordered the Bratwurst.. I haven't had it since 2011...used to be our favorite.. so very very disappointed.. the roll was hard as a rock and stale- very surprised at the quality... the wurst part ( no pun intended) was the Bratwurst.. unfortunately they were very slow not busy at all and the Brat must have been sitting there for hours- so overcooked it crumbled- it was horrible.. I know they have timers on their food and very specific times on how long the food can sit there . For $10.64 it was a complete waste of money.. I did throw it out but I did let them know and showed it to the cast member- she did say a few guests had complained and offered me potato salad.. I always order the Nudel Gratin and I have never never been disappointed.. It was just so very hot this afternoon I couldn't see myself eating such a rich and heavy dish,, I did let customer service know so they could let the leaders know to check on their timing and food quality..today was just not my day.. I decided to try a few new things and was disappointed..

Yelp
I wanted a German beer, but the line at the outside stand was quite long. Since Mom doesn't drink, and was already giving me the glare for even wanting a beer, I wasn't going to force her to wait in an unnecessary line. Service inside was super quick, even with only one open register. I wasn't sure which beer I wanted so I asked the cashier for her suggestion. Once I told her I preferred paler beers, she insisted the Altenmünster Oktoberfest ($9) was just what I wanted. And she was right! We also came back later that day for the cold potato salad ($3.29, & DDP snack). I enjoyed a few bites of that for breakfast on our last day... very delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Sommerfest is not bad for a quick service (dining plan) option, if you like sausages. I went with the bratwurst, which comes on a roll with sauerkraut. The bratwurst itself was good. Not too salty like most theme park food tends to be. The bread was pretty chewy though. It was almost hard to eat. Good thing we got some German beers to wash it all down! I ordered the Altenmünster Oktoberfest while my Dad ordered the Radeberger Pilsner. Both tasted refreshing and not too dark. (but then again, I like super dark beers so the Oktoberfest might be too much for some people). For $4 more, you could get the beer in a souvenir mug. But when I saw it was just a cheapo plastic one, I opted out of it. Finally, for dessert, there weren't many options. It was either apple strudel with vanilla sauce or a black forest cake. All four of us went with the apple strudel, which now looking back, I don't know why we did that. We should have done two and two. (Oh well - should have, would have, could have). It had way too much vanilla sauce on it to the point where the strudel was drenched in it. It also had raisins, which I'm not a fan of so as you can tell, this dessert was definitely not the best I've ever had. I probably wouldn't come back here if I visit EPCOT again, but that's mainly because would eventually like to try all the food from each of the countries. The only reason I would come back would be for the beer!
google avatar

Chad H.

Yelp
Unbelievable. This place is just amazing. In a theme park that is known for its delicious food, this place stands out. If you're on the Disney dining plan, you won't get a better quick service meal in Epcot than this place. First, you get a choice of bratwurst or frankfurter. I picked the bratwurst, and it was juicy and flavorful. Then, you get a dessert. I cannot recommend the pretzel highly enough. Without question, this is the best pretzel I've had in my entire life. The dough was soft, fresh, warm and incredibly delicious. If you go to Epcot, this place is a must-visit. What a pleasant surprise this was.
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Bratwurst: Good, but the black pepper was too strong for my little one, she had to douse it in ketchup to mask the spiciness. Frankfurter: Not spicy at all, but unfortunately completely consumed before the little one noticed the spiciness of the bratwurst. We got the sauerkraut on the side. It was really good, best part of the meal. I wish we got more. It was warm!
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
I tried my best to eat or drink my way around the world at Epcot. Unfortunately I didn't have enough days but I made it out to Germany. The people working here are super friendly. Since I wasn't familiar with German beer, I asked a bunch of questions and the person at the counter was nice enough to explain everything to me. I ended up going with the stein Oktoberfest and a bratwurst for good measures. The beer and bratwurst were good but nothing special. Perhaps it was because I was expecting so much that I ended up feeling that it was just ok. In the end, it's still worth coming just to try. Enjoy!
google avatar

Buzz M.

Yelp
This used to be one of our favorite counter-service restaurants in WDW. It's still up there, but things have changed over the years. For starters, they went two years without putting out the Gouden's Mustard. That's just being cheap. it's back out as of this afternoon. Second, they used to put large hunks of baked ham in the sauerkraut they served with the bratwurst. Those days are long gone. But when they did this, it was absolutely exceptional! We like to blame Disney's "free-dining" plan. Give people free food, and cheapen it up at the same time. For those of us who don't indulge in the free-dining... we... we're penalized. it's still good. It's just not Exceptional like it used to be.
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
This is my favorite stop on the eating tour around the world in Epcot. I always stop by here to grab a bratwurst with sauerkraut and a good German beer, Altenmünster Oktoberfest. It's not the best I've had, but pretty decent for an amusement park. Seating is pretty limited, so I usually eat standing up.
google avatar

Jarod H.

Yelp
Five stars. Closest thing to going to the real Oktoberfest in Germany that I can get to. I enjoyed the sausages and the dessert. The beer, oh my, it was fantastic! The fireworks show right after dinner here was a real treat too & made the meal exceptional.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in for the Nudel gratin on our eating around the world adventure and it was delicious! I would definitely return for this decadent treat. A great portion for a snack credit if on the Disney dining plan.

Yelp
Great quick service place to get your German craving on! Hubby use to love getting the Bratwurst, but ever since the new Currywurst appeared, it totally reminds him of his birthplace! Sliced up bratwurst smothered in curry ketchup might not sound good but is definitely worth the try! Also comes with fresh chips with paprika tossed with it. Depending on when the chips are cooked, it could be really good or might be a bit stale. If you're at Epcot a lot and have yet to try it. Please do! This place is a little tucked away. Its right in front of the dine in restaurant which is all the way in the back of Germany.

Yelp
I'm not a huge beer drinker, so the four stars are for the hot pretzels. Yes, warm, salty pretzel goodness. Bigger than your head. They're amazing.
