If you're looking for an event space in Manhattan, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The owners of this venue are unprofessional, greedy, and lack basic hospitality standards. Their business model seems centered around nickel-and-diming clients at every turn. They charge extra for coat racks, water carafes, champagne buckets--even glassware. These are standard amenities that any decent event venue in NYC would include in their rental package.
The space itself is poorly ventilated, the air conditioning barely functions, and during our event, it was uncomfortably hot. Not only is the physical venue subpar, but the interior design is tasteless and not at all aligned with the premium prices they charge. Despite being in Manhattan, this location lacks the professionalism, hospitality, and basic work ethic that event planners and brand managers expect when booking a space.
Their communication is inconsistent and often dismissive, which made the planning process more stressful than it needed to be. I also witnessed disrespectful treatment of their own staff, which says a lot about their values and how they conduct business.
If you're a brand or planner working with a budget, go for a full-service, all-inclusive venue that actually understands hospitality and values client experience. There are so many better event venues in Manhattan that offer transparent pricing, professionalism, and proper amenities.
This was one of the worst event planning experiences I've had in New York City. I would not recommend this space to anyone--whether you're hosting a corporate event, private party, or brand activation. Steer clear.
