Popped in this past weekend for an app and cocktails and I wasnt disappointed. I sat at the bar and got to try one of their halloween cocktails before they switched to Christmas. It was really good, little pricey but good. We also got the ahi tuna poke - it said it was yellowtail but Im pretty sure it was ahi LOL I didnt care bc it was delicious. Id come back just for that. Service was great, Mal took care of us. Very nice, attentive, and had great recommendations. Their happy hour menu is awesome as well. I plan to come back in December to see their holiday overlay. Highly recommend this spot for apps and drinks.

You need to visit and see Mal in action. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into an atmosphere that balances upscale comfort with modern charm. The food is exceptional, and the craft cocktails are beautifully curated with precision and creativity. Mal elevates the entire experience — Mal’s attentiveness, personality, and skill behind the bar make every visit feel special.

So I give this place 5 stars for a few reasons, the first one is, the drinks are always really good. They change the menu up based on the theme of the pop up bar but, every time I’ve gone and gotten a themed drink, it’s really good. The solid tried and true drinks are good as well. Second, the atmosphere is really cute. They have cute decor that changes every couple of months it seems based on the theme they’re doing. During December there’s a Christmas theme. October Halloween. In between there’s random themes based on what’s going on. And the decor and drinks all match. Super super cute. They have things like board games too, available for people there. Indoor and outdoor seating & it’s open late. Occasionally live DJs. Always good service weather it’s packed or the last few there for the evening.

CHECK YOU RECEIPT! We were charged for a $17 glass of wine instead of the $5 happy hour drink we clearly ordered — We ordered an old fashioned (which tasted great) and one house wine, and the waiter asked “white or red” to which my wife said “red” and then the waiter started to list the types by saying “Cabernet so…” to which my wife immediately said “Cabernet”, not needing to hear the rest. When the bill came we mentioned we were overcharged and the waiter claimed we ordered a different wine, that he had verified the name of the wine, and that the bill was correct. The wine tasted oxidized and terrible, I would not recommend this place to anyone. They may have thought we were tourists and tried to pull a fast one, but we’re from Tampa and thoroughly unimpressed. ***what they gave us was absolutely *not* the $17 wine

I will dream about the truffle popcorn! 🤩 Great vibes with the pop-up Christmas bar, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, drinks are outstanding. The manager John came around a few times to make sure everything was satisfactory. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I was there yesterday, as a person that doesn't drink Eddie was amazing! I may have drove him crazy, (sorry eddie) BUT you were amazing! Everything was awesome and I definitely am LOVING this Halloween menu. My first drink came in a cute pumpkin which I ened up buying 😂. Every drink that I asked ON THE MENU for he made N/A for me. Highly impressed 👏 20 of of 10. The decorations OMG Halloween is my favorite and the bar and lounge area is soo cutee! I will be back 🎃

Even though it is touted as upscale, fairly inexperienced staffing. Both the bartenders were, however very nice and attentive and friendly. The main bar needed a good cleaning. The chef did a super job with speed quality, prep, plating and overall presentation. Prices surprisingly reasonable.

I heard of Sonder Social Club through Yelp & knew it was a place for me to try. I decided to drive up on a Saturday night which was a risk, especially since there's not a lot of parking near by. Thankfully I snagged a spot and didn't have to walk far or drive around. I also didn't realize how cute and quaint the downtown area was (need to check it out). However, when you walk inside it's open seating so I was able to snag a table in the back corner where we had a perfect view of the room. It was decorated for Halloween and they had the perfect spooky drinks -- delightful. We tried a few small bites on top of a couple drinks that were also great but ultimately the best part of the night was sitting and playing cards while sipping on our drinks. (I suggest checking the bookshelves bc that's where our game came from). Overall great vibes and a nice place to hangout.

Went to Sonder ( Santa) Social Club last week ( 11/25) , it's soo cool there. Very Christmassy, festive ,fun and friendly. I had the " christmas" Sangria and my companion had the old fashion. Both were extremely good and refreshing... ( at the time it was 80 plus degrees outside). We split the Cuban sandwich, yes it was very good. Prices on line with other close by establishments. No it wasn't costly at all also happy hour specials and atmosphere was great. Dunedin is soo quant and again festive. Another BIG plus it's locally owned, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Kudos to the Sonder Social Club and owners.

Not for us anymore. We first came here 3+ years ago and had a great experience. We sat at the bar, interacted with the bartender and had delicious cocktails. It was classy. Since then we've come back several times and it's been like a night club inside. We've chosen to sit outside but it's still so loud and you can't interact with the bartenders. Tonight we gave it another try but decided just to leave as it was not our scene.

A small speakeasy vibe cocktail bar. A couple of the baristas are alchemy wizards. During our time here we sipped on six different libations . All good. Most of the staff is great. They have a small menu if you are hungry. The live music and DJ nights make it a fantastic experience. Great job spookys/sonders

Stumbled upon this cocktail club and the ambience was amazing. to the decor and the lighting it was definitely a place to visit. The DJ was phenomenal and really kept the vibe going. our cocktails were just okay unfortunately. We were able to get our orders placed quickly but checking out took some time since the place was packed.

This is my favorite place for drinks in downtown Dunedin, particularly martinis. The espresso martini is spectacular but my favorite here is the guava martini. It's tart and tropical and has a hint of sweetness from the vanilla in their vanilla simple syrup. All their mixes are made fresh in house and it makes all their difference. I come here frequently and love all the bartenders. They have live music on Thursdays too.

Cutie bar for cutie girls. Drinks were great and the bartenders were friendly. They had lots of games to play as well. The bathrooms are hidden behind a bookshelf but they do exist. Cute spot!

Always a great place to visit. Craft drinks are outstanding and Happy Hour pricing is very reasonable. Old Fashion is classic and very good. The Beef Wellington appetizer never disappoints. Fun place with board games, great wait staff and fun environment.

Went for a cocktail sat at the bar. My friend and I were totally ignored. Was going to have an app and drink but left before we were waited on. It was on Sunday afternoon. When the girl came from the back area supposedly where the kitchen was located. She said I've got a headache I'm going home. The kitchen is closed. Poor service!

This place is so cute and they make the best espresso martini! The service is good and really over communicates their tipping policy which I appreciate.

Absolutely love this bar! Sometimes it gets a little crowded but if you wait a bit, you can usually snag a seat. The real shining star here is the staff. They are so friendly and accommodating. I love that they also wait tables instead of making you go up to the bar. I've been during regular and seasonal events. The recent Christmas vibe was awesome and they really go all out. One night they had the best DJ playing major hits from like 2008, so that was my jam hahahah!

Definitely a great spot for some unique drinks and calm bites. I highly recommend, their pop ups never disappoint!

Perfect little Saturday afternoon for the Santa's Social Club experience at Sonder. I love that they extend the Christmas theme until the new year. They had every holiday cocktail available and the ones we tried were all fantastic. Favorites were the Sonder Expresso and Sugar Cookie (liquid dessert) followed by the You Sit on a Throne of Pies (not pictured) and the Ginchmas (if you like sour, this is your drink). Also had a Brown Derby, a well-balanced bourbon "house" cocktail. Bartenders were lovely and on point with the drinks.

My wife and I decided to try this place after it was recommended by our server at The Living Room. We grabbed a table by the window with cute chairs. The service was generally attentive, but I needed to flag down a server to order a second drink after we were sitting empty for about 10 minutes. I had an espresso martini, which was very good (personally, I would have liked a little more coffee flavor, but I still enjoyed it). The Bees Knees drink was nice and balanced between the lemon and the honey. My wife ordered the Stupid Cupid off the still available Valentines menu and a Bees Knees also. Inside is very nice (especially love the bookcase bathrooms). Tonight there was a woman essentially singing karaoke, singing along to recorded background music. She had a wonderful voice, and sang a good variety of cover songs.

I am basing this rating purely on service, decor, and deliciousness, not price. The interior is nicely appointed with deco furniture, books, and cozy little nooks for cozying up into. The drinks are adventurous and creative and served in lovely & unique little pieces. Ok, I guessed that explains the high pricing! ;^) CHEERS!

Honestly, the drinks were pretty good minus my last one the price point was OK and the dessert was good. The one thing and the reason I am giving a low star rating is because of the hidden 20% service fee that they add on which causes you to double tip. There were five of us that went in on a Wednesday night and unfortunately, when we asked for our separate checks I paid mine using the online app and it did not show the additional fee that was charged on there. I think that the weight staff should mention this prior just because I feel it is a bit deceiving for their customers. I am from out of town. The waiter was very nice, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I really don't love when they add these fees in Which honestly should be considered a suggestion.

Stopped in for an 80's pop-up! Drinks were themed and great. Service was very good and friendly. We were hungry, but kitchen issues had the hot food off the menu. It's a quant spot with a variety of seating options. There is a serious wall of liquor here!!

Went in here with my best friend and our boyfriends and we had a great time. Our drinks were so yummy, i'm a huge Paloma girly and this one really met my standards. The ambiance was such a vibe and a great environment to have good conversations in.

There are good things going for this place. I am writing this as a 5-star review because I think the issues I've experienced are fixable, although consistent. For that reason I do think it needs to be mentioned. Pros: --The atmosphere is inviting and fun --The staff is friendly --The cocktails are creative and delicious. --They go the extra mile to decorate for certain holidays--especially Christmas. Cons: --Menu prices are unbalanced. A glass of beer or wine costs just as much as the cocktails (around $14). --Every experience I've had there has been tarnished by a lack of steady service, forgotten orders, and lengthy wait times for food/drink to arrive at the table. I do not blame the staff itself for this issue. I think that the staff scheduling/ distribution of labor needs to be reassessed. Everyone looks like they're not sure what parts of the job have been covered by each other because they all wear so many hats. If it were a single instance, I'd say it was just an off night or perhaps someone called out sick. Unfortunately I have been there at busy and slow times, and experienced a version of this every time. For example, last time I went, there were 2 servers and they both attended to each table. As a result, they were asking the customers the same questions as the guy before, unsure of what had been taken care of yet. It seemed well-intentioned but very inefficient (VS splitting the tables between servers). The servers were also sharing duties of host, food runner, bar back, and helper behind the bar, which meant each task at some point got neglected. My recent visit included waiting 45 minutes for our food order, only to flag down a server and find out our 2 hot dogs were never actually made because one required an ingredient that ran out and no one said anything to us. Then it took another 20 minutes for the one available hot dog to come out, only for it to be left unnoticed at the edge of the bar for 10 minutes. We gave up 2 hours into our experience and flagged down a server directly at the bar to pay our check, without ever getting our meal and with the one hot dog still sitting on the edge of the bar. We had a reservation and had hoped for a special night out.

Have gone here a couple times and have loved it. This time specifically we were for the Halloween pop up bar... which was very well themed! Drinks were adorable with skulls, and octopus glasses. Would recommend to anyone looking to get into the Halloween Spirit.

Sat outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and enjoyed two delicious drinks and a scrumptious cauliflower crust pizza. Service was outstanding and it's clear this place is well managed as all of the servers support one another.

Great location right in the heart of Dunedin across from Dunedin Brewery. Service was good, and DJ was spinning down great tunes. Only complaint is a bit over priced. $16 for a single beer. That's a bit steep.

First time here and it was a Friday evening with some friends. The place looked busy but not overcrowded. The bartenders seamlessly worked in sync together. It was not long at all before we were greeted, and our drink order was taken by Josh, who is a handsome gentleman with a great smile and kind personality. We ordered 3 expresso martinis, which were touted by other patrons to be the best. They were not wrong. Personally, that had to be one of the best expresso martinis have ever had. It was smooth and flavorful. That says a lot as that is my favorite drink and I am very picky about them. I drink espresso (home brewed in a Moka pot daily), so yes, I am a snob about my espresso. The staff each bring their own flare and talent which melds together to make a very talented crew. A few of them touted how they were very happy to work here and loved the locals and visitors to the club. They are able to display their talents and work well together to bring the best service to the patrons. Seeing the staff working with a crowd this size and serve excellent drinks quickly and efficiently, what was stated it very evident to be true. The people around us were kind and greeted us as if we had been friends for life. The vibe as relaxed yet very fun and everyone appeared to be enjoying their time. The place was clean, classy and very nicely decorated. A library section in one area with couch and chair seating near made it for a more relaxed setting and a great place for friends to gather. Pub height tables are also available along with bar seating as well. They have a large selection of liquor available, along with a variety of wines. A great hidden gem that is a great way to experience the vibe of Dunedin! Sonders was voted 2023 Best of the Bay, Readers Choice Winner for Best Cocktails. After that wonderful espresso martini... I can fully appreciate why they received that award. Cheers Sonders! We will definitely return. Coming here is definitely a MUST for anyone that wants to enjoy a bit of Dunedin.

Love that the menu is always changing, and the Christmas decorations! The space is small but quaint and aesthetically pleasing. So fun to give them the flavor profiles you enjoy and let them come up with a cocktail on the fly. I bring out of town friends here and they always enjoy it!

Last week, we decided to check out Sonder Social Club. This spot had been on our list for a while and we really wanted to check out the Christmas drink menu. It did not disappoint. From the time you walk up to the time you are seated, the place looks great. It is very nicely decorated and quite inviting. Our server greeted us when we walked in and I grabbed a table waiting for a few buddies to show up. I looked over the Christmas menu and it looked exceptional. It was called Santa's Social Club. I picked a drink and waited for the rest of the crew to show up. The rest of the table arrived and we decided to sample around the menu. We had the cotton headed ninny muggins, coquito, ya filthy animal, figgy pudding, & the Mexican hot chocolate. Every single drink was well crafted and incredibly tasty. There wasn't a single complaint in the group. Overall, we really enjoyed our first visit to Sonder Social Club. The location, service, and cocktails were top notch. We can't wait to return and sample through their regular menu. Amazing place.

Cute spot. Came here because of their Christmas specials and decorations. They decorated really nice and their drinks were really tasty. Recommend getting the milk and cookies. It's a drink in an actual mug served with two freshly baked cookies, really cute touch. We also got the cauliflower pizza and it was delicious!!!!

Notoriously slow service. I've given them several chances and every time I go, it takes forever to get a drink and then for anyone to come back for a second.

My mom and I visited for just the butter cake dessert...ended up it was Sunday and all day happy hour so we not only got the butter cake but also the deviled eggs and two drinks...the perfect lunch spot for an amazing early Sunday afternoon! I love Dunedin and this little find is one reason why!!!! Upscale , quaint, fun! The drink was amazing yet small. Manager told me she is working on that. Gave me a drink card for my next visit ... which I def will make. Clean, contemporary yet a feeling of nostalgia. The bathroom is actually within the bookcase in my pic. Almost speak easy type feeling.

Britney was so personable along with Jonathan who talked to us about the food. The atmosphere is quaint and stylish. It felt like I was in Melrose in Los Angeles in a cute lounge.

I enjoy Sonder alot. I've been a handful of times and each time the mixologist are so pleasant and helpful. They enjoy their craft and it shows. The interior is beautiful and we'll appointed. Try it out for a nice cocktail. That make and excellent Old Fashioned.

I love Sonder Social Club! The vibes are immaculate, whether you go during the day just to chill or at night to play some games, this place really is perfect. Shoutout to my girls Dru and Ashley for being so friendly and treating my dog like a queen! I went in on a Saturday afternoon with my dog and my laptop to get some work done, and it was the perfect place to chill and work. I've also been during their live music on Friday nights, and it is so much fun! They have lots of games to play and the drinks are great. Highly recommend this place!

I took a date here for a chill environment and great drinks, and I wasn't disappointed. Dru went out of her way to ensure that my date and I had the best experience. She was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made us feel so welcomed.

This place is always a favorite of mine to end the night in Dunedin. The inside is dimly lit, there's a cool library wall in the back with book shelves that act as doors, and there's usually enough seating inside, outside, or by the bar to enjoy a beverage or two. Some nights have live music but overall the noise inside is usually low enough to hold a conversation but it's not the only reason why you should come here. The drinks are amazing, whether you grab a table and have one of the attentive servers bring you something or you chat it up with one of the bartenders. Prices are all very fair and there's usually some sort of special going on, my favorite are the old fashioned and aperol spritz, otherwise there's a massive selection of top quality liquors across the spectrum, wine, beer, and bubbly. If you're looking for an intimate place to take a date after a meal, this could be it, it also can serve as a spot to pregame before hitting Blur down the road.

The service is always stupendous and the craft cocktails are worth the price. The bar and ambiance are always relaxed and chill. Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys fun and relaxing atmosphere check it out.

Soooooo I'm not sure how they are receiving one stars for rude staff because I did not experience that at all. Yet, I usually make my presence known. Sorry everyone but I have nothing but great things to say! The staff was very attentive and I spoke to everyone present. Literally everyone. They were very personable and shared several facts about employment there, traffic, themselves, and more. The best part......Happpppyyyyy hour!!!!!!! Drinks are expensive these days but I'll take $7-9 drinks especially if I can get an old fashioned. I know fancy. Whiskey and bourbon all day!!!! Not to mention how can you pass on such a great space!!! I love books or anything that reminds me of a library so the atmosphere is awesome. Overall it's intimate and unique. Can you guess where the bathroom is??? It's a secret!!!

This place opened up just in time....we were on an all day pub crawl and it started raining, they opened up their doors and we ran in and found a lovely area by the window to sit. I was only ok with this because literally no one else was in there. Ordered a Stoli and cranberry with a splash of pineapple and squeeze of lime. Martini-style. Specific, I know. But that's how I like it. And that's how they served it. Perfectly. Then I ordered the baby Wellington beef balls. I ordered them with the sauce on the side. But they didn't come that way. I'd ding this place a star for that, but because I moved the balls aside from the sauce and they were soooooo damn good, I am giving this place 5 happy stars because I was happy with this place. It's very nicely appointed inside and the "library" is where you'll find the restrooms....it's very cool how they set this up. Like it a lot.

Sonder by its own definition is essentially a moment of realization. An epiphany of sorts if you will. The type that lends itself to greater curiosity and appreciation overall. These moments to ponder certainly require a proper cocktail to contemplate... As we sip, laying back into that; letting go, and drifting into the ethereal vastness of "What If..." we arrive at a place where anything is possible, because we are no less ourselves. Sonder curates those elements perfectly, and I raise my glass in response. What can be said that isn't already obvious of the place? Sonder is a beautiful, sophisticated bar with a lively ambiance and quality product. It's an energizing and stimulating bar to celebrate. The food is delicious, the cocktail program is outstanding, and it all comes together in gorgeous harmony. Now, I have championed Sonder for years. Having sporadically stopped in at various points of conjecture throughout its time. Now that I'm much closer to Dunedin I've been able to enjoy it more frequently. And let me tell you something.... This current iteration of the staff is absolutely hands down the best that they have had. And it's an honor to call them my friends. They're truly great people. Fun to talk to, and be around. Excellent bartenders. I mean truly the complete package. Ashley is an absolute stallion. Dynamic, beautiful, great personality - a true queen behind the bar AND she plays the best music. No one could ever surpass her as being a Bar Manager. Best in the Bizz. If Sonder can also be equated to feeling awestruck... that's what it feels like being in Ashley's Atmosphere. Nate/Con/Adam - the homies! Great dudes all around. Very kind, and hustle hard. All very knowledgeable and talented. Always awesome to see them and hang with them at the bar, and always people I look forward to seeing. Kayla/Brit/Jenna - ladies, we love ya. Thank you for the color that you add, the grace you show, and for all the unique ways you enhance the environment. All of the fun and positive energy you all offer is captivating to the point of being addicting. Johnny - you do a great job with everything, I know the staff loves you and I've always had my respects for your knowledge and ability as well. You're a cool dude and I wish we could see more of you! At the end of the end your Staff and the culture they create is EVERYTHING- and right now with WHO Sonder has they have accomplished transcending into a truly feel-good, timeless space. It's lightning in a bottle. My cup will forever runneth over if this is the team pouring the drinks. I love you all. Thank you for being so great.

Ambiance was really comfortable. Drinks and tapas menu was good. Service was good, but it was a bit loud, as we were not able to talk with everyone in our group who were at the other end of the table. Will definitely go back.

This is the only place in the area to get a proper cocktail. Every drink is made with the freshest ingredients and is carefully crafted to order by the mixologists on staff. I implore the people reading these reviews to skip over some that say they "waited a long time for drinks" Quality takes time, and Sonder Social Club always delivers. Whether you're on a date or with a group of friends, Sonder delivers. Love this place!

Customer service was amazin. hospitality was very attentive to our wants and needs. The manager was frequently checking on tables making sure patrons were attended to and that their orders were received. The DJ played amazing music for the type of vibes that the establishment was trying to provid. 10/10 recommen to anyone wanting to come here.
