*****Update: Management does not equally enforce quiet hours polices on their guests.
We have had multiple issues with noise as the walls are paper thin in this hotel. However, when expressing the complaint, the manager did not help resolve the issue with the other guests below us who were making extremely loud vibrating and thumping sounds every night including during the day, for hours on end. After multiple attempts at contacting the front desk and management they only merely said they talked to the guests who only became louder. I never got sleep as a result and management dismissed our concerns and downplayed the severity of the issue. She was also out during the entire time we were dealing with the stepping/stomping.
Despite the disruption, no remedy was provided. We were offered to move rooms only AFTER the guests already left which is unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts at resolution the manager continued to defend the guests making noise and refuse a fair and equitable resolution. Disappointing that the manager herself said she would not do anything to ask the loud neighbors to move. They allowed a kid to run around all day and night (past midnight) and basically said this is acceptable even if it wakes us up.
This goes to show they don’t have a quiet policy they fairly enforce for everyone here. However they had no issue with telling us to move or leave when we had a short argument during the day and NOT during quiet hours. (Compared to hours and nights of stomping?) They were 100% unfair to us.
They also do smoke ALARM testing literally every month so be aware of this as it could be disruptive to your stay.
Overall this place is loud and prone to noise. You’re also right next to Fairfax county parkway so you do hear a lot of road noise too.

This hotel is not very quiet so reconsider if you’re trying to find somewhere peaceful and quiet because the walls are thin. We were unlucky enough to get really noisy, inconsiderate neighbors below us for a couple weeks and the walls are thin so we could hear their kid and the adults stomping around loudly until 1am most nights. Adults were also very disruptive making loud slamming noises on their last night checking out.
The response initially was that I was sensitive to noise but I wouldn’t say it was sensitivity to hear my room shaking and vibrating at 2am in the morning. So this is not really the issue as anyone would be bothered by this kind of noise.
Second noise issue is they really need to do something about enforcement of rules or limitations for the basketball court. People playing basketball all day until late at night. It’s disturbing the peace of other residents to be playing that long, especially those trying to sleep. Loud groups of people playing all day long and this really takes away from the ability to have any peacefulness or quietly enjoy one’s stay.
Also if you are trying to sleep during the day when their maids do housekeeping, forget it. It sounds like bombs going off when they clean. Wish they could be a bit quieter but it gets pretty loud. See video.
The reason for the extra star for service is cause of Nicholas, who has been the only front desk staff member who’s gone above and beyond with helpfulness and providing good customer service.
Ahmed at the front desk however was rude. When I told him about a noise concern from a room nearby, he was dismissive and annoyed sounding to me, suggesting that one guest “could not possibly be noisy.” He gaslit me into thinking it wasn’t the room next door when I checked and sure enough it was. Maybe try to believe your guests instead of assuming they’re wrong. Terribly rude.
This hotel is NOT quiet due to very thin walls where you can hear your next door neighbor snoring. Seems like some of the front desk at night don’t care to manage the noise either that’s disrupting people health and sleep. Doors slamming every 2 minutes at 1:30am…why is this happening? For the sake of your mental health and peace, avoid this place.
