This location never has the sodas properly mixed in the machine. They always taste gross and when you order an additive they never put enough in so it’s still gross. And most of the time they don’t mix the toppings into the blasts. They do take a long time for food but most of the time it’s hot so I don’t mind waiting. But for a place that is all about drinks you’d think they’d at least do that well.

This place has really gone downhill. Yes, I give them that they are young, but that also falls on management. They need more training. And I don't know why they got rid of the stalls there's only like 5 stalls that they use, and they need to be updated.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. Sonic doesn’t even deserve the one star I’m being forced to give. A couple of months ago, I placed an online order that took forever and was eventually CANCELLED with no explanation. I gave them another chance today, hoping maybe it was just a one-time thing… BIG MISTAKE. I ordered food for myself and my coworkers through DoorDash. I tracked the order and saw it was marked ready for pickup — my dasher was literally at the store WAITING. TELL ME WHY they made my driver wait 40 MINUTES just to tell them THE ORDER WASN’T EVEN READY??? I tried to be understanding — maybe they were busy — but no, it got worse. THIRTY MINUTES LATER, my dasher messaged me saying the machines were messed up or something like that. THEN SONIC CANCELLED MY ORDER!!! So basically… you took my money, didn’t give me my food, made everyone wait over an HOUR, and now I won’t even get a full refund for 5–7 business days??? Make it make sense. If Sonic can’t properly handle online or delivery orders, then they should NOT be on DoorDash or ANY food delivery app. Period. It’s incredibly unprofessional and misleading. Sonic needs to fix their equipment, update their system, or just shut the whole thing down until they can actually manage orders. This is absolutely ridiculous and disappointing. I was just hungry :(

Food was fine for fast food, fast it is not. Make sure to hit the drive thru, if you park at the drive in sections they will ignore you to try to push the drive thru. 2 separate times a sat for well over 20 min. Before they asked to take my order.

We were passing through and stopped for something quick. The app was not working at that location, so we ordered drive through. They got our order wrong and the food was disgusting! I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked, dry and chewy, as if it was sitting out for a while. Overall presentation on the food was horrible. Definitely NOT worth the $60 we spent on our meal. Will not be stopping there again.

I would not recommend this Sonic. We placed our order through the app and the food arrived over 30 minutes after the app said it would be ready. So not only did we wait in the parking lot for over half an hour but our food was also cold as if it had been sitting the whole time.

Go anywhere else. Nothing like ordering online to sit at a stall for 30 minutes to give up and que into the drive through for a cold bag of slop and melted cleaning agent flavored shake. This location sucks.

I ordered an unsweetened ice tea. They intentionally filled my cup with half unsweetened and sweet tea. Be careful if you can't have sugar!

Came here on vacation - this was near our hotel. We were impressed with the service times and portions. Drive-in experience is something to definitely try out at least once. Carlsbad is not exactly a diner's paradise (the other nights we ended up at Chilis) but this Sonic is very close to hotels.

Tried to order three times they were playing on the speaker and kept asking me to Repeat what I had said then took him 30 minutes to make me a burger and fries the special pickle burger and fries. Don't go here unless you wanna wait forever I saw at least 10 cars past me leaving while I was sitting waiting for my order.

They messed my food and i found hair in my burger. when we first got there was no customer so it was fishy but then they had wait a couple minutes then we pull forward and the lady had attitude. once we got our food the bag smelled really bad. *DO NOT RECOMMEND*

We had a trailer so parked and walked to the front and pushed the button. After waiting 5 min we decided that one didn't work so we went to a parking spot and pushed the button. After waiting again we realized it didn't work. Then I noticed everyone in the drive thru. We walked back to the truck and decided to take the trailer through bc I really wanted that vanilla cream coke but guess what? The sign when we finally got to the order spot said "No Sodas" ummmm what?! So we spent about 15 min for nothing. If there aren't car hops or sodas I'd suggest a pretty big sign. Worst sonic everrrrr.

You can be guaranteed your order won't be correct. I ordered a SS cheeseburger. It's supposed to have double meat. I got single. You literally have to unwrap and check everything.

Irma I believe is her name. She's the ONLY good thing I've experienced at this establishment. A car boo with NO CAR HOPS, always a ridiculously long line wrapped to canal street and the last two times I've got my food, I've received burned tots. Needs drastic improvements or to be closed down.

So I come to Sonic daily and I can tell you no matter the time or day your waiting longer then 20 mins more times then not. All that is ever open is the drive thru which is backed up past the sonic building. They have an app to make it quicker for you but yet they still never have it up for customers to use. Over all the customer service at Sonic is terrible...

I don't understand how every time I go to this restaurant I end up with cold meat and cold fries. This spot is consistently busy! Everything should be hot. I use to work at a Sonic and I know exactly the standards a Sonic should up hold seeing as how your original restaurant got nailed for giving out raw meat. Get it together!

Went through the super SLOW moving drive thru to get 1 meal and yet the food was still cold as if it was just setting back there waiting for someone to want it. The ladies whisper at the order menu making it impossible to hear them then they get mad if you raise your tone in order to increase vocal volume. The manager lady appears to be on meth you couldn't even tell what she was saying because of how fast she tries to spit her words out and her face looked.. Well it liked like meth. Never going to sonic again it's HORRIBLE.

Half the stalls are out of order and half of those out of order signs are missing. If you are lucky enough to be in a stall with a working panel the employees will ignore you It amazes me that places like this can stay in business.

We were staying the night in Carlsbad New Mexico. Got a craving for a sonic blast. Ordered 2 small sonic blasts which according to the sign said $3.59 each. Our bill came to $9.24 Which we questioned. The girl at the window when asked just shrugged and said sorry that's what it come out to. she handed us the receipt to look at which came to $4.29 each. We advised her what the menu said. She just shrugged and said I don't know what to tell you this is what it rings up as. She made it clear she could really care less and wasn't going to do anything to check it out. We left. It was a small amount of money but it became the principal and her really lousy attitude.

No customer service skills .. placed order on app and employee just comes and puts paper on window saying need to go through drive thru after already sitting there for 20 minutes and placing order 30 minutes before online . This sonic is in disarray. Half of the stalls have signs telling you to use the drive-thru. The drive-thru had at least 10 cars waiting in line. The car hop could not tell us why the stalls were shut down.

STAY AWAY!!! I wish I could give this piece of crap zero stars. This is by far the worst Sonic location I have ever been to. Hardly any of the ordering stations work, and if you are lucky enough to find a working one no one answers it to take your order. Whoever the owner is should be ashamed of themselves. Whoever is the manager needs to be fired. They are obviously to incompetent to run anything close to a functioning business. I can't even rate the food but if it's as good as everything else there it ain't worth a damn.

Idk why I give this location the benefit of doubt... they disappoint every time. I ordered a route 44 drink on the Sonic app before I get there... it's taken them 20 minutes or more to bring me my drink. It's just a drink. Seriously, should've gone across town to the other location!

We are frequent patrons of Sonics and have been to many across the country. Can I give this one 1/2 star???? Stood out front on patio waiting for someone to answer 5+mins and no answer. Went inside and asked about ordering. Manager said they couldn't take any orders until they got the food out that was waiting. Was dying for lime slushes so decided to wait it out as we were on long road trip with few stops in between. Pulled into a stall and again 10 mins before answering. As we waited pulled up Yelp comments...... oops. 15 mins before our drinkscame out. Waitress was friendly but a bit clueless. My 85 year old mother stepped out of the car into a pile of vomit on her way to use the restroom. Positive note: bathroom was open unlike previous comment and it was clean.

Ordered, then sat in the car for 20-30min. Finally went in to ask where our food was. When they finally acknowledged by presence the realized they misplaced my order. OK. Mistakes happen right. I went back to the car thinking they would rush out the remake. And waited another 15 minutes. Really? A sit down restaurant would be faster than this. When they finally brought out my order they had forgotten the sauce. In their defense. They did give us a token for a free drink. But honestly. Pretty poor. for what they put me thru they should have given me a refund.

I know there are a lot of bad reviews for this place but I have to give them 5 stars. I was having a hard time hearing them over the intercom order system and the young man (wish I would have gotten his name) actually came outside and took my order for me. I actually ordered a low carb option and made a special order and it was done perfectly! The wait was around 5 minutes (at 8 in the morning) and it was really good.

Oh my goodness this crew needs a lot of training! Everything we ordered was made wrong. Except the French toast sticks were correct. The triple chocolate only had 2 chocolates. The Heath bar vanilla blast was incorrect, good thing we liked Oreos in our vanilla. The chocolate shake was vanilla ice cream with a splash of chocolate syrup not spun very well. Glad I didn't order much more than dessert

I would like to use this review to rate the food, but considering I never got a chance to order I will base this on the service I received. My husband pulled up to order food and the lady came over the intercom and told him to wait just a minute and she would be with him. He proceeded to wait 15 minutes, and then instead of her coming back to take his order they shut all the lights off and closed.

We stopped here on the way to Roswell, 60% of the stalls had signs on them saying they were temporarily out of order. The drive thru was packed so we went to the station outside in the front to order. We ordered two hotdogs and drinks, it took 30 minutes before they were delivered. We watched at least 10 cars leave because they weren't being waited on. On a good note, the food was good but not worth the wait.

First of all I went to the Sonic my order was messed up I was very patient and waited I was told I could get my order remade so when I showed up the next week the manager came outside and told me that he had never spoken to me when he knows damn well he did he was very cocky and gave me the wrong number to his general manager I'm sure you remember me but I really wouldn't go to the Sonic people just can't even hold their attitude right at working at a sonic you don't deserve a job

Don't do it! I wish I could rate them less than one star. My order has always been wrong from this place. You will wait a LONG time for your order. Much longer than is reasonable. It doesn't matter how small your order is, expect to take a minimum of 20 minutes and upwards of 40. I ordered a cheeseburger and they asked me if I wanted mayo and mustard. Yes, please put both of them on there. So what do I get? I cheeseburger with ONLY mayo and mustard! Who in their right mind would think that is all I want if I ask for both of those? Time passes and then I get the false impression that these guys can't be as bad as they were last time. There is no way! I justify it to myself. But in all reality they are always bad. ALWAYS! I deserve it honestly, I know better. I feel like a dog who has returned to his vomit.

Went through drive thru for the new philly cheese steak. More jalapeños than steak or cheese. Old fries and no ketchup! To top it off, wasn't given a napkin or a fork. How am I suppose to eat this in my vehicle? Will not be back to this Sonic.

This was my first experience at a Sonic. Everyone should go to a Sonic at some point in their lives. It was so fun! We pulled in, checked out the menu in our individual drive-thru, hit the red button to order and bam! The food came pretty quickly although they forgot the cup of water we ordered. Recommendations: the malts and breakfast burritos. They were gracious enough to let us use the bathroom despite it being an outdoor restaurant. I had to walk through parts of the kitchen in order to get to it, but the bathrooms were fine.

The worse customer service ever! They are rude and slow. They mess up the orders a lot and every time I come here, I leave angry. I went to place an order in the dine-in area and the guy yelled through the mic something ineligibly so I pressed the button again. He again shouted rudely and hung up. He did this 3x so I had to go through the drive thru. They said the were closed even though they took someone else's order and still had 1 hour left to be open

They are SUPER SlOW!!! It doesn't matter which one you go to(of the 2 Sonics in town) My family and I thought it was just this one but nope sure isn't! I waited like 30 minutes. I was super excited because when I drove up I was the only car, but obviously doesn't make a difference! They are very friendly, but not very professional. Everyone was walking around talking laughing or whatever and I was like where is their MANAGER!! I did get my order right so I guess that's a plus! If. You don't have 30 minutes to spare I wouldn't recommend you stop by!
