I am absolutely appalled. Not only did we wait well over 10-15 minutes for our order but when we finally got our order it was completely wrong. We were missing a proper Burger from our order which they gave us a burger that we didn't even order in place of that. And honestly the customer service is just piss poor. I called them over five times and only once did they answer. The employee on the other line seemed highly incompetent even though I asked her for the manager's name multiple times. I had to yell. Excuse me to get her to even reply to me on the phone again. I just don't even know how to describe this experience. Other than this is the absolute worst experience I've ever had at any eating establishment. They refuse to give us a refund. I will be adding pictures of this sloppy looking atrocious burger that they gave us instead of the one that we actually ordered, which had two bottom buns instead of one of each. I would not recommend this Sonic to anyone.

Delicious breakfasts available. Great customer service. An employee came to our car to verify our order, she apologized because their computer system had issues. Things sometimes go wrong. She handled the problem, kept us informed, and quickly got the correct order to us.

I got an Oreo Cheesecake shake from the Drive-Thru. I drove away and took a sip, and the shake was absolutely disgusting. My wife tried it and spit the shake out, then almost threw up in the car! We think that maybe an ingredient was expired or the milk that they had used in the shake went sour. My wife and son both ordered Sonic Blasts, which were fine. We turned around and went back to the Drive Thru to get a new shake. We let them know the issue, and they replaced the shake with no questions asked (got a regular Oreo instead this time). However, they told me that their customers just don't like the taste of the cheesecake. If your customers are telling you that something is wrong with the cheesecake... there's something wrong. I LOVE cheesecake and have had this shake at other locations and it's always been great. They acted upset that I had come back and asked for a new shake, and when they gave me the new shake they seemed to be irritated. I won't be back to this location.

FOOD SAFETY WARNING Picked up a delivery order the other day. They handed me a shake with an exposed top. The hole on the top isn't small either. I asked for a sticker to put on the top. They giggled and said no as they closed the drive thru window. I let the customer know and sent them the picture. The customer was upset about it as well. The approach and reaction about food safety has my really concerned and it has me wondering what other shortcuts they're taking inside with the food. Because of what I experienced and how they reacted, I'll never order food at Sonic again. I'm writing this warning to let everyone know. If you get sick after eating this food, then there's a reason for it.

Order was quick, but corn dogs were over done and dry, their chili cheese tots were hard and dry with a glop of chili. However, the Banana Shake was excellent.

First time eating at a Sonic. Double bacon cheeseburger was awesome! Also had mozzarella sticks, jalapeno cheddar poppers, onion rings, chocolate shake. All good. Will definitely be back.

I’m not from Ohio I just moved here about 5 months ago and usually I go to the one on olantangy and boy are they night and day I order online and go through the drive thru I pre ordered my food and it still wasn’t ready then I asked them if they could mix the hi c and sprite and was told we don’t do that uh okay I get to the window and she asks my name again WHY would you have me pull up as if you knew the name of my order if you didn’t already have it pulled up okay any waysi wait about 6more mins on a pre made order I get my food and order a hi c for my kid who’s not gonna drink straight sprite cool I go back and do the same thing give my name and then a random girl not Addison the one with the headset on comes to the window to ask my name and what I ordered you don’t have a headset on so why are you bothering customers in the drive thru after we played the huh game(wanting a customer to yell when they are speaking in a loud enough tone is absurdity at its finest next time I’ll make you walk in the cold to my car door so you can hear me)Addison came with my hi c and the girl called me rude you all do know you could be making tips right little things go along way and now I’m going the long way to Olentangy it wasn’t nothing big it’s just I know customer service and they don’t have it not well enough to generate the tips that are in Polaris and that’s sad I see why it was empty

Honestly amazing! They are short staffed but service and quality were still great! All our food was fresh and crispy! Everything tasted great. It wasn't too busy we went through the drive thru then parked and ate. Definitely will be back one of my top fast food places! Specifically this location!

Outstanding service from Allie and the team! After finishing my niece and nephew's haircuts, we were looking for a treat nearby. Sonic was perfect. I hadn't been to one in forever but this sooo hit the spot. Half price drinks on happy hour (strawberry slush and chewy limeades were bussin). Burgers weren't the most aesthetic but were really satisfying. The kids loved their ice cream and toys. And the tots were definitely cooked to order - hot and FRESH! All at fast food prices and convenience.

I should have looked at the recent reviews which are all 1 star except one 2 star. This Sonic was good in the past but now they are terrible, and liars to boot. I asked about the chili cheese fritos burrito and was told that the small ones were 99 cents. So we ordered two. I ordered a small chili cheese tots and a limeade. The drink was 3.19 on the menu. When we got to the pay window the amount was almost 3 dollars more than it should have been. The girl said that the burritos were $1.49 each. I told her that she had said they were 99 cents and she replied, " who told you that? We don't have any promotion for that price." I tried to explaining that she was the one who told us the price and she didn't acknowledge me in any way. I asked why the price was high on the tots and she said that I ordered a medium. I had ordered a small, and repeated myself twice. They also charged us 10 cents more for the limeade. At this point, it's New Years eve day, my wife and I were hungry from running errands and we just wanted to get home so I paid the extra amount. I wish that I would have gone with my initial instinct to drive away for the money scam they were pulling. The food was terrible and very greasy. We at a few bits of the burrito and tots and the rest we never even bothered to eat. Seriously, avoid this place. It's one thing to serve bad food and another to lie about your prices. That's about as low as it gets. Sonic has lost a customer for life.

Typical Sonic. Tables outside, places to eat in your car, and- a drive-through? At a drive-in? Feels weird, but it's handy. We got fries (average,) a milkshake (great,) and one of their faux-tropical-drinks, the spicy margarita. Actually a little heat, kinda tasted like a margarita, refreshing and tasty. Fast service. Decent food. Sonic is not my favorite, but sometimes it's handy. And when Baby K wants fries and a shake, and dada wants something cold, it's perfect.

Sadly we waited 15 minutes then a voice finally came on and said my machine is broken. Not sorry please go to another window. No apologies for taking so long. We talked and no response. No wonder they have 2 stars and going down on Yelp. Should've checked Yelp first

I ordered through the app, checked in through the app, 20 minutes later no food. I pushed the red button, told them I had an app order. They took my name and 20 minutes later still no food. I could have gone through the drive through and gotten my food quicker. People who pulled into a stall after me got their food quicker.

Came down from Cleveland for an event. Decided to grab something from Sonic. Checked the hours they were open and decided to head there at 1015 pm. I arrived there at 1025 and I was greeted with darkness. Apparently staff decided to shut down early on such a nice night with multiple customers being turned away wayyy before time. Thank goodness for Wendy's being open.

Service is shit, first i couldn't understand the guy next he said they didn't have fries or tots, then they didn't have chicken, so what do they have absolutely nothing. If we dont have half the food on the menu why are we open.

Broken menu and payment infrastructure. Undercooked fries. Service is good, seem like they are used to dealing with the situation. Sonic menu is bizarre, like how they have different toppings on the bacon cheeseburger than if you order a cheeseburger and add bacon.

Worker Jorge just screamed my order back to me very loud and violently when he went to repeat my order, because I misheard him one time. Really expect better service when you're just trying to get a quick meal.

Both were gristly ground up chicken meat, and they charge you $6 for the combo. Might was well have ordered the $1 McChicken at McDs! The onion rings were crispy but they never gave us and dipping sauce or ketchup. Sorry guys, you just don't cut it.

I keep trying to give them a chance... I believe they're understaffed, so I'll give them two stars. We go mainly for the slushees and milkshakes. Last month, I got a free item on the app and they told me they don't accept the app. Two weeks ago, I went and ordered two slushees. They repeated the order back and it was correct. When I got to the window, they only charged me and gave me one of the drinks... I sat in the drive thru and waited for them to come back to the window. They rolled their eyes when I told them they forgot my other drink. This time, I ordered a raspberry slushee and a blue raspberry slushee. They gave me a vanilla slushee instead of raspberry. ‍ Luckily I'm not that picky. But really?! This is the third time in two months something like this has happened.

Sonic drink machine down... that's like KFC not having chicken. I don't believe that but ok. Lazy workers is more like it just saying.

Pauline was the rudest employee. Dropped our food so we had to wait another 10 minutes. Then decided they were out of something so they'd just give us something else and when I asked her for a refund she said it was take a minute of 15 min to get our money back. Wtf?! How are you about to just not give us what we pay for then not give us our money back and she literally Told me "us not getting an onion ring doesn't justify getting our money back" we PAID for that. Not once in the whole process did anyone ever say sorry for dropping the food, 2 long waits, giving us the wrong food nothing. PAULINE SHOULD BE FIRED FOR TREATING CUSTOMERS in that manor. Oh and to top it off my kid got a chicken strip meal that comes with onion rings and she got hers so they weren't out she's just full of shit and was too lazy.

Quick and excellent service. The food is usually pretty good. Sometimes the hot dogs aren't the best. The tater tots are sometimes a bit greasy. The drinks are consistent and always have great flavor.

I ordered a simple corn dog kids meal. Simple right? Wrong! Whoever put the corn dog in the bag didn't even have the decency or intelligence to even look at what they were sending out. Once we spent time in the awful traffic to get home and unwind, my 3 year old opens the bag to a burnt piece of crap! So then it's back into the awful traffic, to show them the burnt crap and get my child something edible. They replaced it. But took the receipt. Just in case this one is poisoned? Or that i don't have the order # to inform the district management about it? Too bad. I have a picture of that too! If these guys can screw up a simple kids meal like that, I'm not going back. I would so like to post a pic of the burnt thing they tried to serve my baby.

There is a reason this Sonic has terrible reviews. I placed an order on the mobile app and indicated I would be picking it up in 45 minutes. When I arrived well before closing time I found the store dark and deserted. My money went through just fine on the app however! I called the customer service number in the app, was put on hold, never spoke to a representative, and then got a survey that it would not accept the keyed-in numbers for. I called back a second time and finally got a real person who has supposedly issued me a refund but I will have to check my bank account over the next week to make sure that it arrived! I don't know how this place stays in business...

Love the cherry limeade...we come specifically for it. We order ahead on the app while we're en route & tip well. But oh my, lately the wait is crazy. Often 20 minutes or more just for drinks. So bring your patience if you go. I hope this is temporary until they can add staff.

please do not go here. the service is HORRIBLE. i always wait a solid 30-45 minutes for my food and never get any apology from the staff. i try to go back to give them a redemption chance, but they've been this bad for an extremely long time. any other drive thru in columbus is better than this one

Breakfast! This location satisfied both my cravings (tater tots and breakfast sandwiches that involve Texas Toast). My food was delivered fast and hot. The car hop was nice. A great recommend especially when you have a late night out and need some food in the AM.

Just had the best car hop at sonic. So cheerful. A wonderful treat with a great meal. She made my day.

Sat there for 10 minutes and was not helped. Only 2 other cars were even there. One of which arrived after us and got their food before we decided to just leave.

My favorite thing about Sonic Drive In is the Route 44 Cherry Limeade with extra cherry syrup! And my favorite time to go is during Happy Hour! There are other flavors of limeades but cherry is my favorite. The food is tasty and I like a plain hotdog on the warm bun! They make several sandwiches and have a variety of drinks and ice cream. The food isn't overpriced but is always hot when you get your order.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I placed an order in the app at 10:20, arrived at 10:30 and waited with my order saying it was being prepared only to have them take my money and say the order was given to me at 11 when they closed. I sat there for no reason at all for them to literally steal my money. The manager literally said "too bad", and couldn't give me any reason as to why they didn't cancel my order or at least tell me they were not going to be able to make my food. So I am completely out of the money I spent on my order, with no food as well, also having wasted an hour of my time driving there to wait for literally nothing. Please don't visit this location!

Terrible. Just moved here from Florida where the food is good. The fries were old and cold not to mention the burger was the same. No napkins in the bag. If you want to eat garbage, this is the place for you!! Will not be back!

Love this place and the hole concept of this place. I work at macys so every now and then I'll come with some friends over to sonic and eat. The happy hour drinks is awesome and the food is really good and worth the money. Much better then any McDonalds. The half price drinks after 8 is another reason I'll go. The shakes are great. You can just park, order, eat and talk with friends not having to get out the car.

I love So mlm ic and th waitresses are always very kind but the tots and fries are never hot. Its very saddening

I was so excited the first time I had Sonic in 2005. I'm from Connecticut, and they CONSTANTLY show Sonic commercials, despite the closest Sonic being in New Jersey. So, when I found out there was a Sonic 8 miles away from my Virginia college, I was sold. The Polaris location is nice, and somewhat out of the way from most of the mall craziness. I prefer coming the back way from 23 as well. Sonic is the kind of fast food that you go for one thing in particular. For me, it is the Large Diet Cherry Limeade with a small Coconut Cream pie shake. Actually, its usually two limeades [one for now, one for later]. I'm also a fan of the Blue Coconut slush, but it doesn't stack up to my drink combo. The happy hour drink special [2-4pm, half off all drinks/slushes] makes this totally affordable. The burgers are just okay. I don't like telling them I want mustard/mayo/ketchup on my burger, because they usually get it wrong. The tots are so-so, and don't have the charm of cafeteria tots anyways. I'm honestly giving this only 3 stars, because I usually wont go out of my way for Sonic, its only if I'm in the area. Lucky for me though, my boyfriend's office is right around the corner, so sometimes he'll surprise me with a limeade [or two!].

This was the worst sonic i've ever been to. we pull up to the screen and someone answers asking what we would like then changes their mind and says drive thru only. we go to the drive thru and they can't do two separate orders. i know they can. all places can. we go around twice and they messed our orders up. the only good thing was the slushie. you can't mess that up. the fries were old. the chicken sandwhich was presented horribly. the chicken was rubbery and tasted weird. we asked for lots of ketchup and got 1 packet. and the girl taking our order had the worst attitude and could NOT comprehend a simple order.

Happy hour (2-4pm) at Sonic is such a nice treat for those of us not always looking for beer at Happy hour. I grabbed a Limeade and a small vanilla cone which both hit the spot on a 90 degree afternoon. I rarely eat here as it is more of a limeade and cheap ice cream place for me. For the price at Happy hour this place can't be beat. I wish I had one in Hilliard sometimes for a quick and cold refreshing limeade. My only complaint here was that I was a car back and I saw already saw my ice cream cone sitting and waiting for me. By the time it reached me the first drops were starting to slide down the cone. it only takes 30 seconds to make so wait till my cash is out of my hands and then make it. A fresher cone without the mess.

Service is ALWAYS extremely slow no matter the time or day. Although we love their large sized drinks and ice, my family is always waiting an eternity for food. Recently I got a drink and the syrup in the soda was out (these things happen, I wasn't upset) but I did call to give them a heads up and the employee who answered was just clueless and just said 'uh I'll have to check that.' And offered no resolve to my 44oz cup of disgusting carbonated water

I went through the drive thru to order two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees...nothing too difficult. Two small coffees, one with extra cream and one with regular cream and two sugars. The employee asked me five times about the coffee... repeated the wrong size, do I want one sugar in each... I've never had such a difficult time placing a simple order. It was so bad I canceled the coffee with my order. No common sense with this person. Definitely should not take orders at a fast food place.

Stay away from the rude bunch at this Sonic! My son and I wanted to sit outside and eat our lunch. We repeatedly pushed the button and even asked one of the servers, who brushed us off...NO ONE EVER CAME! Don't have the patio option if you are not going to pay any attention to the customers out there! We will never go back to this Sonic!

I looked forward to coming here all day. Just wanted to enjoy some tots....i asked for them, but got fries. I also asked for a corndog that wasn't on my receipt and i didn't get. The burger in my boom box was sloppily made as well. The only one of the 3 of us that came here tonight that was satisfied is my husband. I will say, my diet cherry limeade is good, as is the blue raspberry lemonade my husband has. My brother however is less than thrilled with his coke zero with vanilla due to the fact that he ordered coke zero with nerds. Normally Sonic is on point but tonight i am disappointed. Get it together guys!

Pretty fast service (for a Sonic). Good, standard, Sonic food. Nice people working there. A solid Sonic choice.

Greasy carnival food, and poor quality at that. This evening my parents and I ordered burgers in the drive thru and when we got home discovered both patties were raw. Disgusting. No quality assurance. Might as well go to McDonalds instead.

We waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes before the line even started moving. Probably waited a total of 30 minutes in the drive thru line and only waited that long because we were really craving a slushy with nerds. Both slushees were very liquidy with barely any added candy. So disappointing and will not be back.

They accidentally ran in our order as drive thru so we waited a good 10 min before they realized their mistake. Then when they brought us our food it was wrong. We ordered the new crunchy chicken basket with toast and onion rings. We got the regular chicken strips. Then when we told them they only corrected one of the orders. The manager wasn't helpful either.

Waited 25 minutes today for a burger and cold soggy fries. Won't be back to this one.

Food came out fast and hot! Carhop was very nice and helpful and did a couple trips for us for BBQ and ketchup without complaint. Toast on my husbands toaster was a little soggy but still delicious. Bread can't help soak up burger grease so if you don't like soggy bread don't order the toaster. Tator tots were wonderful and my burger was perfect. Also I especially love their strawberry lemonade!! Yum!!!! If you want fancy go somewhere else, but for fast and delicious it can't be beat.

The outside sitting area was disgustingly dirty. I wiped the table off with a baby wipe and it was black with dirt and food. Maybe the staff should be assigned to go out and wipe the tables a couple times a day. I could tell it had not been wiped for days. The service was good and food was good.

After waiting 40 minutes for our order that never came we cancelled it and went to Canes. In the 40 minutes we sat there not one tray of food left the building. I don't know if they need more help or more training but it's pathetic. Sonic has lost our business forever.

I had the habit of going to Sonic every Saturday for breakfast on my way to work for at least a year. My order was the same every week: A super Sonic breakfast burrito combo with no sausage. I got the tots and a large ice tea with the combo. The large ice tea raised the combo price a little. Over time I began to dislike the oil the tots were cooked in. Maybe my personal taste changed, maybe they changed the brand of their cooking oil or maybe they don't change it often enough. Whatever the reason, the oil gives the tots an unpleasant taste. The thing that annoyed me enough to stop my Saturday morning trek to Sonic was that every week for my exact same order I was charged a different price. Granted it was always within about fifteen cents, but that's not the point. If the cashiers cannot get the price right, how much extra money is Sonic raking in each day? One day I ordered a small tot with the combo even though it comes with a medium size. The order rang up as $1.00 more then usual. I asked why and was told that it was because I ordered a small tot. So, it was $1.00 more for LESS food. Hmmm I just took the medium tots and threw some away. I hate to waste food. I finally got tired of this and switched my Saturday morning breakfast out for oatmeal at the McDonalds across the street. I have to say that I am very embarrassed to admit that I like anything that is served by McDonalds, but their oatmeal is great.
