Excellent fast food! The food tasted delicious! The garlic burger was our favorite as was the classic cheeseburger. Drive up & park to have your meal delivered to your car or walk inside to the kiosk to place your order where there is a small dine in area. A charge for a cup of water is extra, otherwise order the meal to get a beverage of choice.

Placed on online order. it said it would be done by 4:41 PM. Got there by 4.50pm . still waited 15/ twenty minutes. even though I placed an online order and the people ahead of me ordered at the window and got their food immediately. I only know how long I was waiting due to the fact that I have a timer on because I'm on my 30 minute Lunch got my food, with six minutes left to my lunch. Oh and I am missing my fries.

I visited today at the drive through and Larissa at the window was extremely friendly despite the fact that that there was a long line in the drive through. She did her job quickly and was very courteous while still trying to get to the rest of the line. I hope the management recognizes the hard wo4k of their staff especially when it is busy.

The establishment is nice and accommodating service for me is overall experience including food.. typical overpriced meal for what you get as everywhere else as far as fast food goes.. this time today I received bun with mold on it.. definitely was upset but to too far to go back to have it rectified .. Just moving forward don't think I'll be going back unless it's ice cream solely.. get it together or drop prices to match your service/product. Just my opinion

This place absolutely SUCKS and the female on drive thru was so rude! I waited in line for a half hour with only 3 cars ahead of me to be told on a 100° day that they do not have any slushies at that time. No signs on the drive thru menu, no nothing. I obviously expressed how angry I was and this ignorant little girl had the audacity to yell at me! I sped off, furious.

Waited 4 minutes at drive thru speaker before finally got any response, then the person taking my order didn't know what a combo meal was. I left because if they failed to take my order how could they get my food right?

I stopped by the other night and ordered using the stalls which were super easy to use. Natalia brought our food out and she had such a great personality! I know it’s just fast food but it’s honestly some of the best customers service I’ve had.

I tried the new smash burger and I have to say it's delish! I got the double (they also offer a triple). Great flavor, the sauce was good. Could use a bit more crispiness on the edges, but I would order it again. Quick service in the drive thru.

Ok, I have always liked Sonic since I got my Master's at Oklahoma State University BUT.... When you come up with a new Smash burger and promote it (heavily) as such then make sure IT IS a Smash Butger. Very disappointing to get the same patties as their normal burger with just pickles and smash sauce. It was very heavy and not that appealing. Also fries were cold. Do better.

they gave me snickers instead of oreo cheesecake :( the whipped cream covered it so i had no clue til i had left

The service is pretty quick for a sonic and the food so far has been great. Sometimes you can get food that has been sitting but not at this location for me so far! The location is also pretty clean. At some locations the trash can be full however, so far that hasn't been the case at this one.

For a perfect cheap grilled cheese with fried onions, a cherry limeade and onion rings sonic can not be beat. Great deals in the app. Always a kid pleaswr and fun to peeaonaliE everything.

I like coming here for happy hour half price drinks, specifically the cream slushies with crushed jolly ranchers. It's like ice cream and slushy mixed together with jolly rancher crunch. You can also get $0.99 corn dog during happy hour from 2p-5p. Half price shakes, floats and ice cream slush is also available after 8pm. Nothing clever to say here. It's a drive in that ain't McDonalds, Burger King or Wendys. I like Wendy's better, but this place is head and shoulders above Duck's and BK. The one out here does NOT feature the roller-skate carhops other of their stores do, and even if they did, the joint is so close to home I wouldn't use them anywho. Burgers are hearty and tasty. Don't know why I've driven past this joint for so long and never stopped. Wife unit saw the BBLT advertised and had to have one. The BBLT is a seasonal at Sonic, and it's basically a Bacon, Lettuce and Tomatoe sarnie on a Bun. If you've read some of my Yelps, I've menchened I'm not a slave to bacon. I like it, but I'm not mesmerized by it. I will say, however, the BBLT is a tasty sandwich. I'll prolly get a taste for one the week after they 86 it from the menu. Don't know why I've avoided these places for so long. It's on the menu now.

Sonic is in interesting hybrid..... it's part old fashioned Drive In with car hops..... and modern drive thru. In the summer it can be fun! Imagine it packed with old cars.... Beach Boy's music playing and car hops (sometimes) on roller skates delivering burgers, hotdog and milk shakes to your car. Rent the move American Graffiti and you'll get the idea. It's the old fashioned drive in where Sonic shines! Perhaps it's the nostalgia thing, but that works for me. The ordering at the speaker and waiting in line at the drive thru is where they fall short. Too often ..... orders wrong..... food is cold, and the wait way too long. However, the milkshakes are great! So, it's December..... cold..... snow flurries..... and visions not of sugar plums..... but of warm weather.... top down driving and being waited on by roller skating car hops are dancing in my head. I have a feeling with how 2020 has been, Santa wouldn't mind rocking an Hawaiian Shirt this year instead of his Santa suit.... and enjoying a warm day this holiday season ...... with Mrs. Claus ,his elves and Reindeer all enjoying holiday themed shakes at the drive in. Despite the order coming up correctly on the drive-in sign, the burger came with the wrong toppings. We called back in to correct the order (and they still didn't get it: "A hamburger plain" does not sound like "cheese is ok"). So I was already irritated when it finally arrived, to find that it was undercooked on the bottom side. I went in to address this and just wanted a refund. They wanted the receipt. You *just* brought this out to us! The clerk had a 'tude and I was done with it. I shouldn't have to race back and forth to my car multiple times over something like this. Poor customer service and I never did get lunch. Not coming back to this location!

This location cannot handle being busy. We first tried the drive-in spot. Pressed the red button and could hear them talking in the kitchen but never took our order or responded. Then we went through the drive-thru and they forgot to give us my wives chili dog. Is the not the first time the forgot to ensure the bag had everything ordered.

Have not had sonic in over a year. Did not miss anything. The hotdog buns were cold and the relish was watery which made the bun wet. The fries had black ends that were so hard. The only thing enjoyable was the pretzel and the orange Fanta.

August 5 was first time I ever had Sonic's cheese fries _ $3.99. The app had a pic that Inassumed was bot representative of the actual size. Shocked @ what I received, plus fries stuck together when cheese fot room temp. Never going back.

Good food and I love the drive up/in ... but Bad service , seem like Annmarie needs a refresher on service... I walked in because it's cold outside vs having them come out. Guess this is what I get for being courteous and mindful of the weather n snow

Love Sonic, but today I ordered a large cherry lime slush and when I got home I realized that it didn't seem like there was lot in there. It felt light and my cup was acting weird... open the cup to find they literally stuck a small in a large cup. I mean seriously?

Not only did they forget our jumbo order of popcorn chicken (leaving our three kids with nothing to eat for dinner since I didn't realize it until we were home), but our "steakhouse burgers" were put together horribly and looked like they had been left out all day.

If there was an option to give a 0 star rating I would. We went to 3 booths and no one answered but were answering around us. We were there a total 30 minutes before we went through the drive through which took another 20 minutes. And no they were not that busy. They had maybe two cars in the booth area and three cars in the drive thru. Absolutely ridiculous. There was another car there that had the same situation and just left. If I didn't like sonic as much as I did I wouldn't be back next week.

I was drinking a slushie & felt something hard. It was a plastic bit. I thought it was a fluke & kept drinking. Next sip, another piece of plastic. I dumped the rest in a sieve & ran water over it. See the images for how much was in it.

After a busy day, I decided to take some dinner home, and I chose to get it here. Sonic is a drive-in. There are slushes, shakes, and burgers served. There is more food served here, but what I said was the main stuff Sonic serves. If your going into Sonic, you don't have to say the order to a worker, you can do your self-serve order. It's pretty cool! Otherwise, the servers are nice and friendly. The food was just okay. They're servings inside the restaurant are like what you get in a drive-thru. I had chicken strips there, and they were pretty good. I liked the white chicken they had. The mozzarella sticks were okay. I liked the marinara sauce. I was a bit disappointed in my strawberry shake. It was really thick which made it hard to actually drink the shake. All in all, okay food, cool drive-in, and good service. I might be coming back, but I hope next time it can be a little better.

Hey this is good food when the order is right. We know that when we visit this location that we are rolling the dice that there will be an error on our order. This may be due to the teenagers working on the kitchen. But how can you argue with nostalgia, a piece of Americana and those delicious tatertots and delicious shakes.

We always stopped at Sonic when we traveled through the south. Happy to have one down the street. Classic drive in, open late and really good drinks! Decent food (chicken and hot dogs are delicious). Use the app!

After knowing someone who had a powerful position at this sonic, i have learned that it is in fact DIRTY and GROSS. With employees talking about spitting in some poor woman's food because she was rude and others not saying that's wrong. This person was honest and recommended me not to go back. Disgusting to learn they have no morals and would spit in people's food. I wish I was joking. Those coworker group chats are not always safe.

Not only was the service ridiculous (even though we questioned our order when we got to the window) the food was cold. The guy at the window couldn't get the order right....not sure if he just wasn't listening? He gave us the opposite of what we asked for - a burger with everything except Onion. We got a burger with ONLY onion...I'll just say we will never go there again. It wasn't a good experience. This is why people go to Chick-fil-A.

Ordered 2 Chicago dogs , the buns were dried out on one side , tomatoes were mushy . Very disappointed

Never had a bad experience at this location and for a fast food spot nowadays that's rare. They are friendly and the food is always fresh. Four stars because they can be a bit to the slow side on occasion, but hey, I would rather have fresh food than rushed because the food is sitting under lights for who knows how long like some other burger joints.

Terrible customer service, they have forgotten about my order more than once. I like the food but the employees are absolutely terrible at their job. Do better.

Order car hop special! Charged my $6 and change. Given a bag and told have a good night. Went home and only the onion rings r in bag! NO burgers! Called to say something and disconnected not once but twice! So $6 for 2 orders of onion rings only! Not to mention they were cold. How difficult is it to ensure the order u give someone us correct? If burgers were to be in a different bag then hand 2 bags or say something NOT have a good night which essentially says we're done

When I heard Sonic was coming to the Fox Valley, not many people were more thrilled about it than I was. I'd never been there mind you but had seen all the advertisements prior to one actually being in my area. So, when they opened in Montgomery, I was there! And there! And there!! And still there!!! Don't misunderstand me, that doesn't mean I was there all the time. That represents one visit. I'm not saying their drive-thru service was slow but when I arrived I was silky smooth and by the time I got my food and left, I needed a shave. To pour salt in my wound, the order was totally screwed up. They even read it back to me correctly after I ordered it!! Shame on me for not checking it before I left. Wow, this review is this lengthy and I haven't even mentioned the food yet. Not good! To be fair, there are some good things about Sonic. Here are some "Pro's". 1. The concept to begin with. The whole drive-in thing is so retro, it's cool. Although there is that unmistakable "corporate chain" feel about it, they get points for trying to be different! 2. The menu offerings, while some are the same ole/same ole as most fast food places, there are some unique items. 3. The cute servers on roller skates. Now to the food. It's probably just me and my taste buds, but I just don't think it tastes that great. I'll put it ahead of the most dreadful places on earth (Mc'D's and BK) but this is supposed to be "high end fast food" (how's that for an oxy-moron). The flavor just doesn't cut it for me. I don't give ANY fast food joint higher than three stars because 4 & 5 stars should be reserved for the really great places. Based on that - and this review - Sonic should be thrilled to receive 2 stars from me.

Ice cream was good.. but the wait was long. No napkins or receipt given and I didn't realize it until after we had pulled off.

The food here is nothing to write home about. The service is horrible. I have been here a total of 5 times and every time I order something through the drive through it is wrong. It is rung up correctly and shown on the receipt correctly, but in the bag is a completely different story. Even a 5 year old knows the difference between a bacon cheeseburger and a chicken nugget. 3 out of the 5 times I attempted to eat from here my order was wrong. Get it together, people!

This was my first time ordering from Sonic. I got shorted one hot dog and no condiments that I had requested through the mobile app. Of course I didn't find out until I got home and tried to feed the kids. I like the idea of the drive up service, but this did not leave a good impression.

It's been our tradition after the casino we would come here. I actually look forward to it. The service was quick and the food is good. It was pretty late. The girl that brought us the food was so sweet. Unfortunately the fries were stale and a little salty but the cheeseburger made up for it. Definitely need to empty the trash a little more often. Also the prices are steep for what we got.

The slowest fast food experience of your life. Very rude staff as well. Food is always pretty good if they get it right though! Trying to pick up UberEats orders is a pain though, always at least a 10 min wait.. wish they had a better solution for online pickups

The people are friendly and the food is good... But the free Wi-Fi is a joke... Why even advertise it? The download speed was .04-.10Kbps.....May not make a big difference for some people but when you have engineers visit your place of business, and you offer free Wi-Fi make Speck some form of usable service... In this case it was completely unusable, and in fact I had to go back to cellular data to post this review Quit being cheap, and put in some real Wi-Fi, and this place will get five stars from me.

I kind of like this location better than the North Aurora because it's closer to our house. The food and service are exactly the same: awesome. I love love love their limeade and they can make some mean tater tots. Definitely a favorite if and when we're in the salty fast food mood.

My first time to a sonic. I had the Super Crunch Chicken Dinner, perfectly cook, that I split with my friend. It was perfect size to split and feel comfortable afterwards. Service was great except that he didnt wear roller skates :(

3 drinks took 15 minutes to get. Then there's the inside crew who used nothing but profanity that our entire family clearly heard. Yelling that things are bulls**t is not great customer service. If the lady screaming profanities at the rest of the crew, then that's pretty sad.

The service is always very slow. Most times, the order comes out incorrect. And with the execption of a few employees, everyone there is rude and swear and cuss with complete disregard of people at the window.

It's Labor Day the website & app says 1/2 price shakes, floats, etc. through Labor Day after 8p. We get to sonic at 8:10p and they won't honor this. I go in to speak to a manager and she's the most unhelpful person ever. Will be complaining to corporate and will NEVER go back. To Dairy Queen we go!

Every once in a while I get a craving for a sonic bacon cheese burger, corn dog, tots, onion rings and a hot fudge shake. My hubby and I split this after a late night out. It's our perfect hangover meal. I love the tots with a milkshake, it's that salty, sweet thing and the hot fudge shake has great chocolate flavor. The bacon cheese burger is better than the average fast food joint and the onion rings aren't too greasy. Service can be a bit slow especially if they are busy.

Fast and accurate service. Drinks are amazing. A plain or cherry limeade, slush drinks and cherry coke. Food is pretty good. Love that the sandwiches like the BLT and Grilled Cheese come on Texas toast. Good selection of items on the value menu. Jr. FRITOS® Chili Cheese Wrap is great for a snack. It's awesome that they serve tater tots too.

Sonic, how I've missed you... I'm so glad you're finally in Illinois. Winners: cherry limeaide, cheese tater tots, chili cheese pie (called "frito pie" in texas), the greasy, amazing cheeseburgers. Fast food, yes... but so worth it.

This sonic SUCKS it's dirty the workers are dumb they always mess up orders loser place needs new employees. I gave it one star because I had to .up to me it would be ZERO stars!

Tasty food, lack of attention to detail. We went through the drive-thru (you know what Leo Getz says about the drive-thru) where, after we left, we discovered they forgot our fries. To add insult to injury, the girl working the window didn't properly put the lid on my drink which I didn't discover until after I made my first turn and 32oz of cool, refreshing cherry limeade ended up in my passenger seat. Did I mention that, in addition to no fries, they also didn't include any napkins to my bag? Good times, all around.
