Absolutely terrible experience here at this sonic. This all occurred around 5:00 which was a few minutes from my movie start. Firstly, my order was completely wrong and I got nothing I paid for, there was not one thing correct about my order. I asked for the SuperSonic Bacon Double Cheeseburger, I got the burger with one patty, no bacon and no cheese. I also ordered the Double Sonic Smasher with lettuce added; long story short, didn’t get the lettuce or sauce. Secondly, I always check my order before I leave a place in case anything is wrong so I found out my burgers were wrong and waited an extra few minutes for someone to come back to the window. When the lady returned I mentioned that neither of my burgers were what I asked for and for some odd reason, that really upset. She proceeded to roll her eyes, groan and then raise her voice to say “Fine, give it to me I’ll add it on there.” I don’t believe it’s wrong for me to ask for just a new burger because I like my items to be freshly prepped and not just slapped on, so I proceeded to ask if she could remake my burgers for me instead. She then proceeded to get even more upset and raise her voice to say “okay!” As I was handing over my burgers, I kid you not and without any exaggeration, this lady proceeds to snatch these two burgers out of my hand, scratching my hand along the way. When I say snatch, I mean it seemed like she put her all into it. The screen shut in the drive through so I proceed to yell, “ma’am, ma’am” when she came back she yelled at me that she wasn’t going to remake my burgers like I asked her to and that if I wanted it done I’d have to wait, I asked for a full refund for my meal and she said “give me your receipt then, I need you receipt or your not getting it and give me the bags that came with your food.” I did proceed to toss the bags in the window and drive off after she threw me my change. Luckily right across the street was Panda Express which offered a much better experience! Not only was it very clean but the workers absolutely boosted my mood by offering such efficient and kind service. This sonic experience completely transformed my day for the worst. There was a few minutes before me and a couple others were going to enjoy a movie and we thought sonic would be nice like back in the days. It definitely was not and I 100% would not recommend this. I don’t say this because my experience was terrible but because her reaction was the most unprovoked reaction! I simply feel she was just offended that my order was wrong but personally, I do want what I pay for and if anyone does choose to go, check your bag. They already were very slow with minimal customers so I don’t see why’d it be so hard to make 2 burgers; by the way it took approximately 15 minutes to even get my food so that’s what “fast food” at “sonic” gets you now and days. Wishing the best experience for the next person and I hope that worker got over what ever caused her anger, could’ve been the guy she kept talking to the whole time instead of working, respectfully.
