Sonic Drive-In

I'm not one to write reviews, but .. I enjoyed my breakfast super sonic burrito with a giant tomato and instead of hash browns it had fries.. please just take the time to cut the tomato up and if you're out of hash browns please let the customers know! Thx! Overall still a yummy burrito, just wish I hadn't had to wait 15 minutes for it!

BIG shout out to the TWO employees working at the 48th and Memorial location!!! We made our order at 12:25 on the mobile app for SEVEN people! There were cars parked and ordering with a line around the building for the drive thru as well! While we had to wait 30 mins after we checked in, the food was amazing and the order was fully correct! Good Job! You made a car full of hunger boys very happy!

Food is bomb today! Not sure who’s in the kitchen but they nailed it. Lady at the drive thru was nice as well.

Literally took me 30 minutes to get a single large Dr Pepper. Had ordered on the mobile app. Tried to check in and they never brought it. Moved to a stall and no one answered the red button. Now I am sitting in the drive thru still waiting…

I stopped by today and ordered a meal with the chicken (basically popcorn chicken), tater tots, and a drink, plus a Wag Cup for my dog. To start on a positive note, they did bring out the Wag Cup, which my dog loved. After that, the experience went downhill. I sat waiting for at least 20 minutes before a girl finally brought my food. She handed me the chicken and tater tots, closed the window, and walked away before I could say anything. I had to wait another five minutes for her to come back so I could tell her that I never got my drink. She did not apologize or say anything, just said “oh” and went to grab it. When she returned, I asked for honey mustard since no dipping sauce was offered. When I got home, I was even more disappointed. I ordered a large popcorn chicken, but halfway through I realized the bottom half of the container was filled with tater tots instead of chicken. So I basically paid for a large and got a half-order. On top of that, everything was cold even though it took 20 minutes to get it. Additionally, there was not a single napkin in my bad. Luckily my dog didn't make a mess of her treat, but that's just ridiculous. What makes it worse is that this is the second bad experience I have had at this same location. I actually left a complaint about 10 months ago and had not been back since. The only reason I stopped today was because my dog was dressed up for Halloween, and I wanted to treat her to a Wag Cup for being such a good girl at the pet store. Unfortunately, it looks like nothing has changed. Both photos will be attached- the old review as well as my half eaten tater tots as well as my half eaten chicken that shows the bottom filled with tater tots. 🫠

Me and my husband ordered through the ap at 12:47. Almost 30 mins later Andrew came out apologizing saying hes the only one working today. Theres no way Sonic should be allowing one person to work a shift. And this isnt the first or second or third time we've come to this location and only one person is working. That's not fair to the customers and for sure isnt fair to the employees. Especially since everytime there's only one person working its never a manager. Then I call corporate to complain about why they got him working by himself and they offer me a free side for the inconvenience 🙄 I will never go to Sonic again.

My husband and I made a mobile order and waited at a stall for 30 minutes for our food to get to us. After 20 minutes we pressed the order button on the stall to see what was taking so long and it took 5 minutes for anyone to respond. While waiting we watched 7 or so cars pull into stalls, get no response, then pull into the drive through instead.

My wife waited 30 minutes and when she hit the button again and asked, "I think you forgot about me" and they said "no, we'll have it right out to you, we are cooking everything fresh", and it was still another 15 minutes until she got her order which wasn't even correct, she waited almost an hour to get her order, her order was a chicken sandwich and the chicken was burnt, she ordered a medium combo and received a small size combo, the sonic lady said that's a medium fry and a medium drink, I don't think so, my wife got a small fry and a small drink, I don't think a 16 oz cup is a medium drink, they lie just so they won't have to replace it... Won't go back there anymore...

There is no one working there. They should have a minimum number of employees to remain open. That poor girl is there all by herself.

If you've got a lot of time to kill, this is the place for you. I placed an order in the app with a pick up time of 3:50 PM. We've been waiting at the stall long enough for the screen update at the stall to time out. We are going on 20 minutes wait time for 2 drinks- no special instructions- ordered as is from the app menu. We have pushed the button to ask, and now they say it will be out in a few minutes. If I had not already paid in the app, I'd be out of here. If they were super busy, I may understand, but they are not. This is nuts. Update: after 30 minutes,my husband got out of the car to find someone to ask about our order. They told him they didn't have the ingredients for the drinks we ordered. Seriously? They couldn't have told us that when we checked in before? So I hope I get my money back from the app order. What a waste of time.

This is so good I reccomed.i don't go to sonick a lot but this time it was YUM.don't walk RUN!!

Went from a 3-star to a 1-star purely because of the absolute crap-shoot my last visit was. 30 minute wait in line. A FULL HALF HOUR. And guess what? Melted medium chocolate shake (had to add my own chocolate syrup at home because of massive LACK of chocolate) and a medium ice tea filled almost the whole way with ice. Drank a medium ice tea in about 15 seconds because of it. And of course the staff inside, had to be at least four, just chatting away as we're trying to get their attention about the crappy service. Although I shouldn't expect much from Sonic I guess ‍ Just ended up leaving because of the hold up. Just go to Braum's.

Drove through to get a bag of ice and a large Sonic Butterfinger blast and squirt some chocolate syrup in it to be mixed in the ice cream. No ice available in bags because they it was a hot day. Understandable. Now, something as simple as ice cream, butterfinger and chocolate syrup would not be an issue. OMG!!!! Was asked by 3 different employees what I wanted. So each time I restated the order. Well got to the window and there was a car in front of me. Meagan, the employee came out and asked me my order AGAIN!!! Well I gave it to her AGAIN. What I got was A vanilla ice cream, butterfinger and hot fudge dumped on top. Not what I asked for, 4 different times. The old sonic I went to at about 31st and Sheridan understood it every time. The shut it down and moved further south to about 34th and Sheridan. I can't wait for them to open and everything be correct.

Omg! I sit there at Sonic for 12 minutes with no customers in the parking lot and the kids in there running it were in there flirting with the other girl in there and I went knocked on the door and he walked off and he laughed and he says I don't know what this old and cursed about being an old man wanted. They had cleared out my order I have video and I knocked again and he came over and threatened to come outside and fight but would not bring me my drink

Average Sonic, good Coke after a trip to the cemetery on the corner. Nice employees. Fast service. Easy to get to if you are going north on Memorial.

Went through drive through at 10:45pm they took my order gave me the price I pulled up behind a car in front of me that was waiting for their order at the window when Sonic shut all their outside lights out me and the other car sat there a little bit thinking we was still getting our orders the car in front of me left since no one was in site so I pulled up nobody was inside, either they were hiding or left finally after waiting a little bit I gave up and left. Most worthless Sonic I've ever been to. All they would've had to said was they weren't taking anymore orders instead of the foolish games. They should just go out of business with that attitude.

Yumm, wait..yeah that's right i said YUMM....I love their breakfast burritos, actually everything is good. Never had any problems with them so i will rate it 5 stars because i've only had positive visits with them. The associates who bring your food have always been nice, and this is at a very convenient place and it's never too crowded..no complaints here! F.Y.I They have a new system where ordering is a lot better and the speakers are clearer!!

Went there multiple times had to wait almost 30 mins for food they forgot my drink 3 times and brought the wrong food twice

I don't think they've ever gotten my order right even once. It's convenient in its location and hours, but I don't know what I expected because of it. I ordered a burger, a burrito, chicken tenders and cinnamon snacks. They tried to overcharge me and make the tenders and the burrito both separate meals, and then once we got that fixed, they gave me the wrong kind of burrito and French toast sticks? It didn't taste bad it's just really not what I ordered.

This location doesn't mix their shakes very well which is a problem with shakes that have a sour or bitter syrup additive such as lemon or cheesecake. I got a mouthful of concentrated sour lemon-ey flavoring that I almost spat out in my car. Would not recommend this location.

Slow to nonexistent service. Waited 12 minutes after the red button was activated. No response! The employees inside did not look busy. I left and drove to another Sonic where I was waited on immediately.

They constantly mess up the order of food or ice cream we order ice cream two concretes and a sundae they gave us the sudae correct and one concrete correct the other a blast and the wrong size twice. And another time we ordered 9 burgers on half price tuesday and they could not put on one order they made it three instead we spent 1 hour they waiting for food
