Nice hotel with spa. Both need renovations. Breakfast average, need more organic and local produce. What makes this hotel memorable is the flawless service, which is very memorable. Kids friendly

This is a special thank you to Lyn, who leads the amazing perfumery in Sonnealp. I visited with my wife, and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a world of discovery. Lyn has incredible taste and took the time to guide us through some of the most beautiful niche fragrance houses with care and passion. The highlight for me was falling in love with Fragrance Du Bois – Lucius, a rare gem that’s not easy to find in Germany. The collection at this perfumery is truly special, and Lyn’s knowledge and ability to curate an experience made it unforgettable. Meeting her was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. If you’re in town — whether you’re staying at Sonnealp or just visiting — I can only recommend stopping by the perfumery. Thank you, Lyn, for such a memorable experience. Beautiful mountain hotel with exceptional food and service. The outdoor/ indoor spa landscape is beautiful and will keep multiple family generations entertained. Many people return every year with three generations because it's got something for everybody and the food is truly great.

This ressort is one of the rare places where even the most stressed people calm down after a few days. The entire experience is outstanding, starting from the skilled and always friendly staff, their professional and creative attitude, going over the greatly designed rooms, SPA and infrastructure, ending with the ressort being embedded in one of the greatest landscapes in southern Germany. Food is excellent in every of the multiple restaurants and a visit of the Silberdistel (restaurant) can be highly recommended to those who appreciate the extraordinary treat. Especially for families, this ressort has done almost everything possible to be a perfect place, tailoring their facilities across generations to the needs of the oldest and wisest ones, the youngest and wildest ones and everyone in between. During all my travels around the world, I never have experienced any other 5 star plus or leading hotel which could reach or even meet the scope and the level of what the Sonnenalp ressort and its team provides to you. Thanks to everybody, especially to the invisble ones, contributing to this incomparable place, making each visit something really special. We are looking forward to seeing you again, soon!

The hotel is beautiful and amazingly well maintained. Breakfast and dinner are included and they are fantastic. The staff are also incredibly nice and accommodating. Daniel was especially warm and welcoming!

The resort is huge but they did a good job to break it up for more privacy feeling, the building as well as the restaurant. |Different indoor and outdoor pools and huge garden. The view from the room.. great if you are on a higher floor.|Not so impressed with the suite itself, sep. bedroom, good bed and balcony, sep. living space.. a bit dark and the furniture are not comfortable ( bench against the wall) nor well placed in the room, the sofa and chair are back to back. Bathroom very good . Negative, no air-condition and lots of stairs on the way from the room to the lobby or restaurant. |Food always good quality. For me more bread choices would be nice. |Interesting the walk through the moorland and to the Golf course for lunch.

The experience is awe-inspiring. I have been coming to this beautiful resort since 2005, When I was 3. This is the perfect resort for families/soll/couples and friends they have the best facilities ever, the food is absolutely the best in the world. My family loves this resort and know the owners and many waiters there, the waiters have great experience and love to have conversation with the guests and they can speak many languages to engage fully. We love the football spaces, the climbing and all the activities they put together for you. I also love wakeboarding with them as there guides are very knowledgeable.
