I can TELL YOU CONFIDENTLY that this is the BEST Pizza in LA!!! And I also prefer the online-site ordering method convenient, I know some can say it’s annoying but for me it was smooth sailing after Sonny’s gave me the pickup instructions which was very convenient. Will definitely come back for more!❤️🍕🍕

Lucky me! Stumbled across Sonny's online and after seeing the reviews, had to try it. DAYUM! One hell of a delicious pizza. Superb crust, sauce, pepperoni... and it's in my neck of the woods!

Best pizza in LA. Straight up. Reminded me of the east coast. And of course, the owners are from the East Coast. They just do it better over there honestly. They were first in the game. Everyone else just follows them/copies them. Cool guys- I can tell they’re going to make a big impact in the LA pizza scene.

Sonny’s in Hollywood offers a well-crafted pizza with delightful flavors and high-quality ingredients. However, due to Los Angeles traffic, the pizza required reheating by the time I arrived home. (IF YOU WERE TO GRAB IT AND EAT IT ON THE SPOT - It would probably be a 9.5 out of 10) The establishment is somewhat hidden and dimly Barely any lighting at all., with limited parking options. I had to park on a red curb, hoping to avoid a citation while waiting for my slightly delayed pickup appointment. Overall, while the experience was worth trying once, I would not choose to visit again.

What a treat to get a pizza allocation! I know you are all thinking it’s a bit pricey but it’s WELL WORTH THE PRICE!! Had a Jalapeño and Pepperoni we also ordered a Sausage and Pepperoni! Both were PERFECT!!! If you like this kind of style pizza it’s up there with the LA hitters like Petramale pizza in Venice and Secret pizza LA! Congrats Sonny’s Pizza you killed it with this one!!!

Just had the OG plain pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The addition of burrata and honey really adds to the flavors. The pizza shop is located on the corner of Sunset, which is a prime area! The store itself was nice, clean, and the staff are welcoming. Honestly, this pizza reminds me of my days back in New York City, it feels extremely authentic. I also wanted to say the ingredients that they use are high-quality. I wanted to say I’m already rating this five star, but would be even better if they use Halal meat for their pepperoni pizza! (crossing my fingers that they do in the future). You won’t go wrong ordering yourself a pie from here and the price is DEFINITELY WORTH it!!

I can’t objectively say this is a good pizza joint. If you like Jersey style, heavy on the char / borderline burned crust, then you’ll probably like it. But I’m not going to get caught up in the hype with a place that’s only selling in limited quantities each day. The flavor was barely there and a bit disappointing. They probably rely heavily on either the Rosi’s Hot Oil, Burrata and/or Mike’s Hot Honey to differentiate their pizza from any other. But as a standalone pie without those extra toppings, it’s pretty bad. The base pie could use more cheese, more flavor in the sauce, more of everything except for the cook time. Most of the edges of the crust were difficult to eat - the lingering flavor of burned crust on your taste buds was hard to wash down with a coke. The atmosphere is…well, there isn’t one. An area where people just stand there waiting for their order. The music was good though.

Cool vibe, amazing pizza, and delicious cookies! The pizza was so delicious. Can out fresh and crispy and I washed it down with a crispy Mexican come!

My friend kept seeing this place pop up on his Instagram feed twice a week, so he made it his personal mission to try it. After 2 failed attempts over the last few weeks, he finally managed to snag a couple pies for a chill Sunday dinner: one pepperoni & jalapeño, and one plain cheese. And....meh. We were all pretty disappointed. For something that's been hyped nonstop online, the actual pizza just didn't deliver. Definitely overhyped. Also, the crust on the pepperoni had some burnt edges. When will restaurants stop charring food? It's a carcinogen, folks!!!

Ordered on the website right at noon! We picked up our pizza and had to try a slice while it was hot. I appreciated the crispiness of the pizza but still wanted even more crisp. If you've ever had new york style pizza, this might disappoint you a little. The cheese felt almost dry and I wish there was more of the tomato sauce. It is a pretty big pizza but adding burrata and hot honey was super pricey. I would pass on the hot honey because I couldn't really taste it. However, the cold burrata was a great pairing. It was a cool aesthetic inside but very dim. I believe you can only order online right now. I don't think I would come back, but I still think it was worth the one time try! The worker inside was very nice and super helpful.

Finally got my hands on Sonny's after a week of trying. Found this place through social media and wanted to try. Love pizza and was curious about this popular one since its been all over my for you page. They release their schedule on drop times on their Instagram Stories. Usually they release pies at noon on their site. Once you place an order, you can pickup at the selected time at their store for pickup. I got the Jalapeño pizza and it was my mistake to try it at home which took 25 min and by then the pizza was a bit cold. Either way the pizza was pretty delicious and reminds me of that perfect ny style pizza. Good undercarriage, flavor, and crispiness. The flavor of the sauce is so delicious and tastes natural and fresh. Really want to try their other pies and next time I will try them as soon as i receive it lol. They have ramped up their production scale of pies according to their latest instagram story so hopefully more people will be able to try. Pies range from 34-38$ (no individual slices sold) will try again for sure. Rating for jalepeno pizza: 8.5/10 - freshness of the sauce, and each slice was consistent in flavor and texture. I really want to try their other pies which have pepperoni and some other toppings. Cant wait. A certain amount of pies sold each day, and they sell out hella quick.

There are so many types of pizza out there it's tough to keep track. Especially in LA. As someone born and bred in NYC, I'd have to say this is as good as NY style is gonna out here. Perfect crust. Perfect bake. The pepperoni has the perfect kick. Great sauce to cheese ratio. Amazing everything, and super easy pickup. Phenomenal pizza!

The perfect pie. Now I see what all the hype is about... got our order in at 12:01 for a 4:15 pickup. When k arrived it took a few minutes for the pies to come out but when they did it was well worth the wait. Perfect thin crispy pizza. We got the works (mikes hot honey & burrata) on pepperoni and jalapeño. Both were amazing. Best eaten in warm in the back of my truck.

This place is great! I heard about them earlier this week and couldn't wait to try them. You have to order from their website, I was waiting on the site at 11:50 to ensure I got a pie today, they only make a few hundred pies a day, and they sold out in 40 minutes. I see why now! I've tried many other pizza places like Prime, Lamonicas, Gino's east, Dtown, Mr. Pizza, even laurel hardware has good pizza...and this place tops them all. The Staff were nice, I showed up 15 minutes before my pickup time and my pizza was just coming out of the oven which was perfect. The owners are the ones cooking the pies which is unheard of here in LA and you can tell by how hard thy were working they care about quality over quantity The pizza itself was amazing, the sauce is a good mix between sweet, and tangy, the crust is perfectly cooked, I love the charred ends, it's cheesy, and the fresh basil is a nice touch. By far the best pizza I've tried in LA. Keep up the good work guys!

Drove 2 hours from San Diego for them to be completely sold out at 6pm. Rude guy at the front got mad at us because we didn't follow them on Instagram. Why would I need to follow their Instagram to order some pizza at a pizzeria? No seats inside, lights were dark and the place looked closed. I will not be returning ever again. Would not recommend.
