We went to dine in without reservation. We were a group of 7, & the restaurant was fully packed to accommodate 7pax. So, we were seated outside, which we asked. We ordered many dishes- Bruschetta, Patcheri (veg options), Crab, margarita pizza, chicken salad, Alfredo pasta with some drinks & desserts. We were served by an Hunter - who paid attention to vegetarian needs & offered to customize some of the dishes. Hunter is pleasant, and has good sense of humor which added to the overall hospitality experience. All food was tasty. The olive deep they gave with Bruschetta is over the moon. Alfredo pasta was richly flavorful, full of cheese sauce (which we like but would recommend to choose other type of pasta if you don’t like deep cream cheese sauce).

From starters to dessert, to service and hospitality, we had a great experience. We shared Sorellas Bread (homemade bread w vibrant pesto) and Fritto Misto (Meyer lemon aioli!); Pesto Lasagna, Pepperoni Pizza and Mafaldine…house made pasta was amazing. Tiramisu, Cannoli and Zeppole for dessert. We were beyond satiated!! And our server Tatiana was amazing

So glad we were able to have dinner at Sorella’s. Our reservation was on a Friday night and it was definitely busy but service was still great. We ordered Oyster Sorellas and brussel sprouts. I was worried because I saw another review saying the brussel sprouts were bad but they were perfect. The whipped ricotta base was a perfect taste against the crispy chili Brussel Sprouts. The oysters were also really good. I was surprised how much I liked them in comparison to other restaurants in the area. I ordered chicken Parmesan and my fiancé ordered the veal Parmesan. Both came with spaghetti. Mine was a perfect size but we were shocked at the veal cut. It was such a large sized portion. Both were very delicious. I can see why the veal is a favorite. With all that food we didn’t have enough space for dessert. We will have to come back to try them

My husband and I went to Sorella’s for a nice dinner without the kids, and this place did not disappoint. From the romantic atmosphere to the wonderful service from our server, Daniela, it was a perfect choice for a relaxing night out. The bread served before the meal was warm, toasted to perfection, and paired with a delicious dipping oil. We started with the bruschetta, which had a wonderful balance of flavors—creamy ricotta, salty prosciutto, sweet fig jam, and vibrant pesto. While it was tasty, it didn’t quite match what I’d typically expect from a bruschetta, especially since the bread on the table was actually more toasted than the bread used for the appetizer. For our mains, my husband really enjoyed his chicken parmesan, and my lumache pasta with short rib was outstanding—full of rich flavor and with melt-in-your-mouth tender meat. We managed to save room for dessert, sharing a cannoli with a silky-smooth, orange-kissed filling inside a crisp shell, accented with chocolate and pistachio. I paired it with an espresso that leaned a bit on the bitter side but was still enjoyable, especially with the two petite biscotti served alongside. It was the perfect spot to enjoy one of our last dinners on vacation, and if we find ourselves back in Virginia Beach, I can absolutely see us returning.

From the moment I walked in, Sorella’s delivered an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right blend of cozy charm and upscale energy. I started my evening with a perfectly crafted Rusty Nail cocktail — smooth, bold, and just the right touch of smoky sweetness. It paired beautifully with the crispy mozzarella balls and creamy burrata, which were absolute standouts. For my entrée, I went with the bucatini, and it was divine — rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the spumoni was the perfect finish: light, nostalgic, and bursting with flavor. Every bite and sip was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the already fantastic atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back — Sorella’s is a true gem in Virginia Beach!

The place is good and nice. We had sorellas's pizza, salad, lasagna, and lobster with pasta. Waiting time for food is long even though it wasn't very busy. You will spend easily around $35-40 per person.

My husband and I went for an early dinner. Our dinner was delicious, the service was wonderful and we were pleased with the pricing. Margot was our server and when we return we will request her. She was so friendly and spot on.

We are from out of town and had a small wedding reception for my daughter on March 18, 2025. It could not have gone better. We all felt taken care of and the bride and groom felt special. Antonia, I can’t thank you enough! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was incredibly impeccable. They went above and beyond to make the event better than we could have hoped for. I am so grateful for Sorellas! Thank you so much!

Yelp
Have been meaning to try this restaurant at the Oceanfront , after receiving our meals my mom and are so glad we did! Since we opted to sit outdoors I brought my pup so she can enjoy sitting outside on the patio with us as well. We ordered: The Ravioli - such a simple yet complex dish from the combination of protein and cheese flavors Lasagne - perfectly stacked to encompass the ideal balance of meat and noodle Bruschetta - Airy and fluffy bread with a delight crunch to the outer crust with toppings as delicately bitten together Calamari - Fried to perfection! Nothing less nothing more

Yelp
It's a nice place with a great menu. Service was lovely. Drinks were good. I know they pride themselves on house made pasta and I get that. But for some reason, homemade pasta sometimes just isn't as good as dried. It has a much softer texture which reminds me of overcooked pasta. (Theirs was not really overcooked but just too soft for me which again I think stems from being homemade and maybe the pasta dough just isn't firm enough). I love an al dente "bite", which was missing here in the pasta dishes . My granddaughters spaghetti and meatballs looked so mushy. I tried it and it was fine- not really overcooked like it looked, but just the appearance mixed in with the sauce looked mushy and off putting. I had the orecchiette with sausage and rapini which is my go to dish in an Italian restaurant and while it was very tasty, again the homemade pasta just had no bite to it. It was super soft. Also the rapini (broccoli rabe) was quite scant in the dish. The sausage was in cubes rather than crumbled. Minor flaws but this dish could be executed so much better with a few tweaks. Other dishes we had at the table: Octopus appetizer. Good, not great. The cannellini beans which I generally love were too cooked down (mushy lol- see a theme here?) Caprese salad- daughter said it was very good Melon/prosciutto app - husband loved it and said the citrus mixture it was in was delicious. He actually said "best appetizer on the beach so far" (and we've been to some really nice places) Cacio e Pepe- hubby said very good but would prefer spaghetti to bucatini Delicious espresso, affogato and chocolate gelato for dessert. If I could give half stars I would give 3.5.

Yelp
Thank you fellow Yelpers! Decided to give this place a chance this evening after reviewing the reviews and menu. Walked over here from the hotel we were staying and enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited for my food to be ready. Was kind of disappointed to arrive back to the hotel and learn the bruschetta I ordered was made with meat, when clearly on my receipt in big bold red letters with exclamation marks noted "NO MEAT!!!" By this time it was after 10pm so I called and the manager on duty Vincent not only remembered my order he tried to remedy the situation and I appreciated him for that. My salad was ok...the pasta was delicious. Simple and tasty. Full of flavors. The restaurant was busy, bar area was full and there were plenty of patio outdoor seating. If I wasn't on auntie duty I would've loved to sit out on the patio and enjoy the evening. This place seemed perfect for a date night, wine night, girls night out. I love all things wine so this is definitely my kind of place. Can't wait to venture back down & bring my hubby! Happy Yelping!

Yelp
Nice Italian restaurant located off Baltic Avenue near the oceanfront. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and service was moderate. The food was average. Prices were moderate. The ribeye and halibut lacked seasoning and flavor. The oyster rockefeller was good.

Yelp
Made a reservation & came with a big group on a Saturday night. We split a bunch of the apps some of the favs were meatballs, brussel sprouts & the ricotta. The bread & oil that comes to the table are delicious as well! I got a lamb pasta and it was great. The lamb was tender & flavorful. The staff was friendly & helpful with questions/substitutions. To end the meal a bunch of us got affogatos & it was the perfect pick me up for the rest of the night! A great place for date night or girls night.

Yelp
We recently had dinner at Sorella's located near the Oceanfront in the heart of Virginia Beach. This place is fantastic! We really enjoyed ourselves here. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful with menu questions and suggestions. They have a terrific Happy Hour menu with something for every taste imaginable. We tried several things and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful eatery, especially around happy hour!

Yelp
Absolutely loved sorellas, a warm rustic atmosphere with friendly staff. The most important part though is the food! For appetizers we had Brussels sprouts which were 10/10, the whipped ricotta which were 15/10, and the mozzarella balls which were 20/10, everything was delicious. For the enter I got the vodka pasta with braised short rib and wow it was amazing, the pasta was fresh, plenty of sauce and the short rib was so tender. Highly recommend if you are in the area!!

Yelp
Sorellas at the Oceanfront offers a fantastic happy hour with great prices!! From start to finish, the experience was enjoyable, from our service to our meals. To start, I ordered a glass of the Barbera D'Alba from Collina San Ponzio, which was smooth and balanced, tasted like a cab. It was a great choice to pair with my meal. My friend and I both opted for Caesar salads. A nice touch was that our waitress let us know the salad included actual anchovies (good to know if you don't like anchovies)! She also brought out some bread and oil. For appetizers, we ordered the bruschetta, which had prosciutto, pesto, ricotta, fig jam, and pistachios on focaccia. The combination of flavors was a great balance of savory and sweet. We also shared the mussels, which were served in a spicy tomato broth with Italian sausage and fennel. The broth was super flavorful, and the grilled bread on the side was perfect for soaking up the broth. Taking advantage of the $5 off happy hour pizza deal (who wouldn't?!), we couldn't resist ordering the chicken pesto pizza. It was so tasty, but we each could only eat a slice after all of our apps before we boxed it to go. If you're looking for a place with great HH deals, or a nice Italian dinner ... it's a spot worth checking out at the Oceanfront.

Yelp
In town for a few days and found this gem up the street from our hotel. Our server, Brad, was very friendly and attentive, offering great suggestions. Happy hour from 3-6 has some amazing deals, including $5 off pizza and pasta. We had the caprese salad, baked meatballs, mushroom truffle pizza and cacio e Pepe pasta--all were 10/10. Even on a Monday, it was filling by 5:15 so snag a resy. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We had the pleasure dining at Sorella's and luckily enough it was during happy hour! $5 off any pasta and pizza! The quality of the food did not disappoint and our server was attentive and friendly. Great location and atmosphere to eat good food near the beach!

Yelp
Great service at the bar with tasty pasta. The bar tender was friendly and the environment was perfect for a solo dinner date. The crusty bread with oil was a nice touch, too! Low quality picture...

Yelp
Great place! We went during Happy Hour and were really happy with the selection and the prices. It sits on a corner and has lots of outdoor seating, but we sat inside. I'm on the fence about our server, but the valet guys were great!

Yelp
Food quality wasn't great, the environment and valet/ service was great, but the food was truly average.

Yelp
Sorella's was amazing! The food was so good. I got the Italian chopped salad and a meatball sub. Staff were super friendly and nice . Place is beautifully decorated. I like the faux olive trees . We took some cute pics by them. There was a nice and spacious party room a couple was having a baby shower. What I really appreciated about Sorella's were the prices. Very reasonable prices especially these days where dining out has become so expensive this was so nice. I can visit here often because of it. This was a great place to eat!

Yelp
Wanted to give a higher rating since everyone gave rave reviews! Brussel sprouts were inedibly salty, even the manager came back admitting that it was. The spaghetti and meatballs had serious issues. Was the pasta supposed to be made in-house? Spaghetti was soggy, tasteless - boxed spaghetti or spaghetti from a chain like Fazoli's is even better! The real issue was the meatballs - the center was still frozen! So don't kid yourself that you're paying for made from scratch food. The only saving grace was the response from management- bill was on the house. But here's the thing - the free take home Tiramisu wasn't good, tasteless and no hint of coffee. The redone meatballs were burnt!!! So even the take out food left a whole lot to be desired.

Yelp
Go to spot! Really love Sorella's and can always find something super yummy on their menu. Atmosphere is great too!

Yelp
Been here multiple times this place is always a winner to me. We actually sat on the other side of the dining room, which I have never seen before. It is beautiful. Typically, we sit on the side where the bar is, which is absolutely beautiful as well but this time we sat on the other side and views were amazing. they have beautiful booths in there, it's perfect for a larger party. I always order a few apps as I did this time no dish just a few appetizers. The service is always great. The food is always good with two other people one has been there before the other one has not. Both of them enjoyed their food cooked to perfection. I had the arancini bolognese, Sorella's Bread, and crispy mozzarella balls. The crispy mozzarella balls are hands-down one of my favorites for dessert. I ended up ordering affogato with hazelnut Gelati and a side of amaretto. My friend ordered the pasta with sauce the spaghetti she absolutely loved it. She said you can tell that it was fresh made pasta. My other friend ordered the bone and ribeye with potatoes. She said it was the best ribeye she has had. She said it was so flavorful cooked to perfection and seasoned just right , she had for chocolate olive oil cake, which she absolutely loved. My other friend did not have dessert. When I come back, of course I would come back. I've been there numerous times since they've opened. It's one of my top restaurants to go to.

Yelp
I've seen so many good reviews and even asked a friend for recommendations and was told about this place. My friend and I came here around 5:30pm and were sat immediately. We were also greeted immediately so that's a plus, granted we came to VB during the off season. After taking some time to think about what to order, we decided on the bucatini (cacio e pepe) and the linguine con vongole. Food didn't take long, and they do offer bread and olive oil too. The portions were perfect and filling regardless of how small it looks. The interior is very classy and fancy, but the restaurant itself is very casual, or can be so don't worry about having to dress nice. Overall, I would highly recommend this place especially if you love pasta like I do.

Yelp
Was very pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was friendly and attentive, love that we could make reservations online. The food was amazing and the dish that has truffle was amazing. Would eat here again.

Yelp
Italian on Virginia Beach!! Yes , this is the place. Great atmosphere. Great service. Even better food!!! The portions seem a little small at first but they were perfect. Oh and also important, clean bathrooms. Loved the craft beer as well.

Yelp
Our second time here in a week! Homemade pasta, and you can taste it! One of the best Italian places I've had.

Yelp
Our food was simply amazing. The drinks were great. Our food was tender (short ribs) and the service was top notch. A very elegant yet light environment. Perfect place for a friends get together for sure! Definitely will be back.

Yelp
We dined here with a group of 6 on a Saturday evening. We made reservations via Open Table. The hostess was friendly upon our arrival and seated us at a booth immediately. Our waitress was very engaging and took great time with our table even though you could tell she was busy. She even had the manager come over to help further describe a wine for us. She made great suggestions and recommendations. We had a bottle of white wine and a red. Both were great selections based on her help. For appetizers we had the crispy Brussel sprouts and two of Tuna Crudo. Both were very good and flavorful. The tuna had a tiny bit of basil and chili that gave it a nice taste. Appetizers arrived quickly. Our entree selections also came quickly. I had the roasted Halibut which was cooked just right and sat atop a large portion of polenta. Part of it had a tomato sauce and the other side of the dish had an arugula, olive and cucumber combination. It was sized generously. My husband had the Linguine Con Vongole which is the linguine with clams. He devoured it so it's safe to say he happily enjoyed his entree. For dessert we shared the Spumoni Semifreddo and the Tiramisu. Both were plentiful and a nice was to end the meal.

Yelp
I'm an out of town-er. This spot hit ALL the important high notes. Quaint location with a comfy patio, great 80's music playing along with the Navy fly-overs that make Virginia Beach so unique. The ravioli was absolutely delectable! Best bolognese I have ever had this side of Little Italy in NYC. Excellent service and reasonable price points. Solid house Cabernet suggested by the server. Just a lovely dinner experience.

Yelp
What a great place to have dinner with friends. The restaurant boasts great ambiance & decor inside with comfortable and intimate seating. Our server was very nice and witty and able to throw some funny jabs back at our party who liked to tease a bit...! The host of our party likes to buy just about every appetizer and dessert imaginable every time we eat together so we got to experience it all...! I was barely able to get through the huge portion of Chicken Parmesan and he orders every single dessert on the menu...! OMG! Well. I tried a few bites of most things but had to throw in the towel...! Savages! The only reason for a reduced star is the cocktails take 20 minutes or more to get to table once ordered. Anyway, overall, it's a great restaurant with great service and wonderful food! If at VA Beach, check it out!

Yelp
My husband and I attended Sorella's on a Friday evening for a special occasion. Making reservations was easy, and there was plenty of availability. We parked on the street, not realizing Sorella's offers complimentary valet parking. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. The restaurant's aesthetics were fantastic--dimmed lights created a cozy atmosphere perfect for conversation. Despite being busy, it didn't feel chaotic. Our server was superb: professional, kind, helpful, patient, and gracious. We ordered the Burrata + Pesto, Baked Meatballs, Baked Scallop, Tagliatelle Nero, and ended the night with Chocolate Olive Oil Cake and Blood Orange Sorbetto. The food was incredible. The presentation was picturesque, and each dish was flavorful, properly proportioned, and absolutely delightful. I left feeling satisfied but not overly full. Sorella's offers a super authentic experience with well-seasoned and perfectly cooked dishes. I can't wait to return.

Lin B.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant twice. Will not go back. The owners hit the mark with Eurasia and Atlantic on Pacific, but the food here at Sorella's is overpriced and mediocre at best.

Yelp
I've heard nothing but great things about Sorella's so I decided to stop in on a Tuesday evening to dine in. Being that it was a weekday, there was no wait at all and I was seated right away. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and had a very modern and chic flair to it. Our server quickly greeted us and was very friendly. She informed us of the specials for the week, which were a few pasta and pizza dishes that sounded amazing. After looking over the menu (and having to Google some of the items lol), we started with the Fritto Misto which was fried shrimp and calamari. The seafood tasted very fresh and was delicious with the lemon aoli. For the entree, I decided on the Mafaldine, which was served with a spicy, pork ragu sauce. After taking a few bites, I felt like it was missing some flavor and it wasn't spicy at all to me. The server did provide fresh, Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes which helped a bit but unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the dish. A friend of mine ordered the Roasted Halibut which sat on top of creamy polenta and red sauce with an arugula salad topping. It was absolutely amazing and everything paired very well together! The cannolis were presented so beautifully and tasted pretty good as well. Overall, I had a great experience at Sorella's. I love that they have a large bar area for those that want to come in for a quick bite to eat and some drinks. The server was super nice and I love all of the food options they provide. I look forward to trying another dish when I return. P.S. There is a parking garage right behind the restaurant on 32nd St. that has 2-Hour parking for those that can't find parking on the street! :)

Yelp
While in VA Beach for work I had some great Italian food for dinner one evening, which made me want to come here for a second night of Italian food. This is a nice Italian restaurant set in a plaza, but which still offers a cozy atmosphere. The service was great and the menu is decent. They have a nice, large wine list and they have cocktails as well. The food I had was nice, flavors were decent. I tried their spaghetti, as I wanted to try their traditional red sauce, it was nice. Nothing spectacular, but nice. Ceasar salad was nice, but their spumoni was amazing! Definitely save room for dessert and get the spumoni!

Yelp
I enjoyed my quiet girls night dinner here last week. I've heard mixed reviews since this spot opened up but enjoyed it and plan to come back with my husband for a Happy Hour in a few weeks. It's large inside - very large - with tons of seating and great decor and table settings. Our waitress was very good at answering all our questions on the menu. My friend has a Soy food allergy and she easily navigated that. We went with meatballs and minestrone to start. Both delicious. I really loved the minestrone soup - very hearty and a nice sized serving when paired with their delicious fresh bread and dipping oils. For entrees - my friend ordered the Paccheri. Hers was a large noodle almost like Penne with mushrooms, roast garlic, black truffles and peas. I had the Tagliatelle Nero which consisted of lobster, uni sauce, smoked sausage, tomato, bread crumbs. My only complaint was I expected legit sausage and this was more like a sausage link cut into tiny pieces. I added 4 shrimp at $2 each - large size and delicious. They charge by the shrimp to add protein. I actually kind'a liked that. I didn't try my friend's dish but intend to order next time - it looked delicious and I love mushrooms. Their pasta bar is very nice and hopefully we can sit there next time and watch the action. I tried the tiramisu for dessert - was a bit hesitant due to the previous reviewers but they must've taken that into account bc this one was nice and coffee-flavored and a very generous portion served in a beautiful mini trifle bowl for about $10. Loved the pasta wallpaper in the restrooms - cute. All staff were friendly. A+

Yelp
I couldn't wait to try this new Italian restaurant out! Stopped in on Friday night with my best friend and we were absolutely impressed: the decor was modern and warm, the staff was very friendly and the service was awesome. We both opted for pizza and sparkling wine, a great suggestion from our server. Everything was absolutely amazing. Our server was attentive and we never had to ask for refills. We ended our night sharing a slice of Chocolate olive oil cake. If you're looking for a great dining experience whether it's from a girls night out, birthday party or date night, check out Sorella's! A few tips: * Since this is a new restaurant, I highly suggest making a reservation on Open Table. We made one and had no problem getting a table when we arrived. * There isn't a set dress code so jeans are appropriate for a cozy dining experience! * Parking is available on the street in front of the restaurant but it is limited. There is a parking lot behind the shopping center across the street and a garage available.

Yelp
Back for a second visit. Clifford, the bartender, was wonderful again. The arancini was delicious. The pizza was okay. I was anticipating it to be as good as the same flavor of the bruschetta, but it was missing something. Maybe pine nuts? Everything else. 5/5. Clean. Quick. Attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here on Sunday afternoon and was very impressed with their food. We started with Panzanella. A delightful salad of heirloom tomatoes , cucumbers , fresh mozzarella, lightly toasted ciabatta croutons in a red wine vinaigrette. The Bruschetta, a full length cut of focaccia bread topped with ricotta cheese, fig jam, pesto, prosciutto and pistachios. Looked spectacular and tasted likewise. . The first was "Bucatini". A thick homemade spaghetti in butter sauce with Sea salt and black pepper very tasty, and "Orecchiette " ground Italian sausage, and Calabrian chili's in homemade cupped pasta with Rapini and roasted garlic. We couldn't resist the dessert that Cindy, our waitress recommended. "Spumoni Semifreddo". This consisted of Strawberry gelato with hazelnuts, pistachios and black cherries in case them a chocolate shell with toasted pistachios on top. A burst of deliciousness and every bite. This restaurant is located about three blocks off Atlantic Ave. in the boardwalk district. (we found most of the restaurants we ate at along the boardwalk to be mediocre and overpriced.). Sorella's Tasted best was very nice and less expensive very clean and great service. And if you're lucky you can watch them make the pasta.

Yelp
My husband and I did the pasta and wine experience at Sorella's. We honestly weren't sure what to expect, but we were so happy with our evening there! Vincent shared with us a little bit of history while teaching us how to make pasta. We were also given several starters with wine pairings while we let our pasta dough rest. We were allowed to take the pasta (ravioli) we made home, and the chef prepared a lovely pasta dish for us with a tasty bolognese sauce. Everything was delicious! Lastly, we tried cannolis with homemade limoncello (that we also got a bit of history on) that was delicious! Overall, we had a great time talking with the staff about the background of the restaurant, pasta, wine and more.... This is an experience we would love to do again. Whether you want to do something personal/ special like the pasta and wine night or you're just looking for good, authentic Italian food, I highly recommend this restaurant! (I wish I took more pictures, sorry!)

Yelp
I had a great experience here. Making reservations for our party of 6 on a Tuesday evening was super easy. I found out they have Industry nights on Tuesdays where if you work in a restaurant, you get 50% off everything! Also, they have Happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6 pm. I'm not a fan of parking at the oceanfront so I was super happy they had valet parking. This made everything so much more pleasant! The restaurant is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Its natural lighting throughout gives off a cozy yet exciting vibe. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. After giving us the Happy Hour menu we proceeded to order numerous appetizers. Here is what we all ordered: Apps: Bruschetta, baked meatballs, fritto misto, prosciutto and goronzola plate Pasta: Linguine con vongole, radiatore, paccheri, tagliatelle nero, and spaghetti alla chitarra Dessert: tiramisu and affogatos I absolutely loved the fritto misto! The Meyer lemon aioli was wonderful. The calamari and shrimp were perfectly fried. My clams linguini was amazing! The broth was wonderful and made my mouth super happy. The bruschetta was beautiful and equally delicious. My son loved his spaghetti and meatballs. Everyone said they liked their dishes. I chose to get pistachio gelato with my affogato. Hubby ordered his with hazelnut. Great experience! Wonderful food! I can't wait to come back and bring the rest of the family!

Yelp
As good as I expected to be. Service is always on point and their happy hour is killer. The pasta is made fresh and i couldnt be happier. Just like their sister restaurant, I'm always pleased with their food.

Yelp
my husband and I came here for a date night and it was amazing! the food is so good - like plate licking good and the service is fantastic. they have so many different options - we didn't get to try their pizza but i saw a bunch of people ordering take out. they had great pasta choices and their bread is delicious! the ambiance is so nice and very inviting. although we came for date night, there were also families and plenty of open seating. i highly recommend if you're in the mood for italian!

Yelp
This restaurant is Italian. We started with the Brussels. The are set over whipped ricotta and then mixed in with pickled garlic marcona almonds and Parmesan = wow. I had the Cioppino and that was so flavorful ... One of the best versions I've ever had. My daughter had the Pacherri which was a noodle and black truffle with cheese and she loved it. The only negative the drink I ordered was too strong and I had to add some grenadine. (Most people may like a strong drink tho:) )

Yelp
The newest addition to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and an opening that I have been extremely excited about. The news about Sorella's opening was very vocal on social media over the past many months and led to lots of buzz and impatient waiting on my end. Italian food is one of my favorite cuisines and their sneak peeks always looked and sounded incredible. Fast forward to today - it's their first week being open and there seems to be lots of people checking them out with really high hopes. I think the beauty of social media is shown there, but can also give unrealistic expectations of what you're going to get at a BRAND NEW restaurant. With that being said, I walked in for lunch yesterday (Saturday) with reservations that we made online and although our hopes were high, we also knew that there would probably be some first-week "kinks" and "jitters" to work out. Right away, we were greeted by very welcoming hostesses who brought us to our table. Our server, Trevor, was insanely nice and helpful. He had a few big parties and definitely had his hands full, but made sure to keep a good eye on us. It was obvious to us that although he was busy, he had been trained well on the menu and was handling the stress of the new and busy restaurant very well. Throughout the meal, he gave many amazing recommendations from the menu and conversed with us. They have an extensive menu, for both drinks and food. So many things sounded incredible and it was truly hard to choose what to order. My main recommendation is that you absolutely do NOT skip the Bruschetta appetizer. You actually should order multiple. What we ordered: *Bruschetta - 10/10 I will be coming back for this and will be ordering one strictly for myself. A very unique combination on gorgeous ciabatta. It was incredible! *Paccheri - 10/10 Funghi Misti, truffle, peas and garlic. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the creamy, savory sauce was decadent. I didn't miss a meaty component at all. *Conchigliono - 8/10 Crab stuffed shells with ricotta, spinach and prosciutto. Also delicious, but we all wished it had a cream sauce rather than a red sauce. It was still good, just not as memorable as the other dishes. *Tiramisu - 9.5/10 One of my all-time favorite desserts and there's is great. Loved the presentation and the soaked lady fingers. Fantastic dessert! *Cannolis - 7/10 Were they good? Yes. But I'm a cannoli snob. I go to Boston's North End many times a year strictly for cannolis and these just didn't quite live up to my personal expectation. Would I still order them again? Yeah, probably. Overall, fantastic meal and I cannot WAIT to come again and try more of their menu!

Yelp
I was very excited to check this restaurant out as my husband and I are both huge fans of the Atlantic and once tried their special lamb ragu bolognese and were thoroughly impressed! Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly host and our first site was a beautiful pasta bar. It really gives that Italian feel and I'd love to come back and sit there and watch them make fresh pasta as we dine. However, this time we chose to sit at the regular bar, especially since it was our first time in! The bartenders were all very nice and did a wonderful job answering all of our questions and making appropriate recommendations to make our experience exactly what we were looking for. Most of their menu is made in smaller portions, including their pasta so it is perfect to order several small plates to share. My husband and I started with an Aperol Spritz and a Hugo Spritz. As a huge Aperol Spritz fan, I was so excited to see that they had several Spritzes to choose from and their own little menu. Both of the Spritzes we tried were delicious and hefty in size! I thought the prices were very reasonable all things considered. For lunch, we shared Risotto, Bruschetta, and Crispy Mozzarella. One thing is for sure-- they're not shy about using salt! All of the small plates were delicious, especially the Risotto and Bruschetta, both of which we would order again. I wasn't very impressed with the Mozzarella Bites and my husband and I agreed that they really could've used a little bit longer in the fryer because the cheese inside wasn't melted like you would've hoped. It was warm, but still very solid. For dessert, we tried some Zeppoles and they were delightful! I wouldn't say that they are a must have for us next time, but we did enjoy them. They serve Espresso Martinis from the tap, which I didn't enjoy as much. It tasted slightly artificially flavored and lacked the aromas and flavors of fresh espresso. However, the bartender recommended a delightful Spanish cocktail called a Carajillo (pictured) which is FRESH espresso, vanilla liqueur, and an orange swath. It was divine! All in all, we enjoyed our experience at Sorellas and look forward to returning to try some of their other offerings including their fresh pasta and pizzas!

Yelp
We absolutely loved Sorella's! We are tourists and were just looking for an easy Italian dinner. OMG! This place blew our minds. From the service (Brad) to the food it was INCREDIBLE! We got the calamari (amazing not too greasy), the mushroom pasta, halibut , and the clam pasta. Every SINGLE dish blew us away with the quality and freshness. Drinks and the music were another giant plus!!! Recommend a MILLION times over.

Yelp
Went for dinner with a large group, arriving an hour before closing. First of all, I'm sorry to the server who was helping us. Some,....okay...most of our party was pretty loud and more than a little obnoxious. She handled it like a champ though and stayed professional, if not overly enthusiastic (I couldn't really blame her though). The food was mixed on quality. The bruschetta was meh. The mushroom pasta dish was amazing. The pizza was so-so. Most of the group seemed to enjoy their meals. The wine list is extensive and fantastic. Super expensive, be prepared to spend a lot. There is valet parking.

Yelp
We went to dinner at Sorella's for the first time, and we really enjoyed our food. The fresh pasta is delicious, and we ordered some of the sides to go along with the meal. We also ordered several appetizers which was good, and we decided to try some of the different spritz drinks that they offered. The service was slow, but there were a lot of tables being served (both inside and outside) so we weren't sure if it was because the restaurant was full or if they were just short staffed. We enjoyed going to this restaurant and will return since the food was good. Also, if you can get street parking then it's an easy walk.

Yelp
This spot had a great ambiance and a nice little patio. The prices were fantastic. They had $6 off of pastas for happy hour! I ordered a vodka sauce pasta and my husband ordered the lamb ragu. My dish was pretty decent. However, the red sauce in my husband's meal was not the greatest. It was overly sweet. If you stop here, skip the red sauce. Other than that, it seemed like a decent spot.

Yelp
Personally, I'm not someone that goes out to a restaurant to eat pasta.... but let me tell you.... the Paccheri dish was AMAZING!!! If you love mushrooms - it's the perfect dish! We had the mussels and the fritto misto which were both delicious appetizers. For dessert, the cannolis are amazing. My partner had an affogato which he enjoyed, as well. The service was great! The server was attentive and considerate/accommodating of our family member with food allergies (nuts). Overall, the vibes are great, the food is delicious and the service was excellent. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping in. We had a reservation beforehand and I would recommend making one for larger parties/families as they were pretty busy when we went.

Yelp
Made reservations here for a large party to celebrate my husbands birthday. So happy they were able to accommodate all of us but it was still fairly new at the time and on a weekday. People arrived at staggered times and not all at once but we were seated immediately. Our server was not welcoming and wasn't really feeling our party vibe but we were all excited to see each other and be together celebrating. She got our drink orders and then started taking our app orders. There are so many items on the menu it's hard deciding what to get. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious the pizza, apps and entrees. The drinks were really good as well. Since it was our first time we were excited to try everything. We wanted to try dessert but our server didn't ask if we wanted any or offer the menu. Instead we started receiving our checks so we got the hint that she wanted us out. Since we were there to celebrate an occasion we voiced that out and they gave us a tiramisu. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious!! Can't wait to go back. Hopefully next time we'll have a better experience with our server and won't get an RBF the whole time. I get that we were a large party which requires a lot of patience etc but we got the bad vibes once we got there and sat at our table so that was disappointing.

Yelp
Sorella's brings Italy to your table with its cozy vibe and authentic flavors. The pasta dishes are a standout, and their happy hour deals are awesome. It's definitely one of my favorite Italian spots in town. Plus, the service is great - shoutout to Marianela for her friendly and efficient service. This place has vallet parking and I recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Yelp
Hands down the best pizza I've had! The dough is fresh, the flavors are rich, and the service is always friendly. Can't wait to go back! Only down side is the service little slow but everything else was good
