The 5 Best Bakeries In Annandale 2024

"A wave of calm will likely wash over you as soon as you step inside Soricha Tea & Theater. Maybe it’s the soft classical music playing in the background, or the quiet, almost reverent conversations happening between friends at the wooden tables and benches. Join them and order a pot of tea and a croissant waffle with maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla ice cream, or go for the injeolmi bowl made with soybean, black sesame, and red bean ice cream topped with cornflakes. If you’re tempted to stay a while, check out the stage space that’s set up for tea ceremonies, where you can gather with friends around a low table on the floor, shoes off. " - omnia saed

Google
Love that we have a specialty Korean tea house in the DMV area. As a fellow Korean, I love that I get to try and discover different types of teas that I would’ve never known about before. It’s incredibly busy on weekends and after dinner, but it gets quiet enough during off-peak hours for people to do some work here. Prices are on the higher end as well. Definitely a unique find that you should try out!

I have been going here for years now and the quality and taste is always consistently amazing. This is my go to cafe when I go out either to study, with friends, or just for dessert! I’m absolutely in love with this place, the drink/dessert selection and the interior is super aesthetic. I always go at least once a month! :D

Google
Absolutely lovely spot! Soricha Tea & Theater is such a cozy and peaceful place — perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I ordered the matcha bingsoo and it was delicious — just the right balance of flavor and sweetness. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. It was pretty full when I visited, with lots of people just enjoying tea and the calm atmosphere. I also liked their ordering system — you just scan the QR code at the table and pay right away. Super convenient! Plus, they have free Wi-Fi. I’m definitely planning to come back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

It’s a charming Korean-style café with cute décor, offering a wide variety of bingsu and smoothies. It’s a great spot to catch up with friends. especially at night—thanks to a projector screen on the wall for movie nights and hangouts.

Google
Soricha Tea & Theater is a hidden gem for tea, coffee & bingsoo lovers. I’ve been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Whether you’re here for tea or their amazing bingsoo, it’s always a treat. The black sesame bingsoo is hands-down my favorite — rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area — highly recommend.

A cozy & nicely decorated shop with assorted decent teas, coffee, and dessert to choose from. All the staff are friendly and attentive as well as efficient .Highly recommending it .

Google
Beautiful experience at Soricha. Kimbae is on top of everything with her attention to detail and hospitable, warm attitude. Even though my friends and I were sitting in the middle of the room table, somehow the flow and aesthetic of the entire tearoom was so cozy and welcoming and felt private and calm. The rose tea was delightful. I recommend one tiny spoonful of sugar per mini cup. It was actually super delightful with the Thai tea flavored bing-soo! I got all the upgrades for the bing-soo such as matcha ice cream, corn flakes, chocolate rice (crunchy), sliced almonds, red bean paste, and I would've gotten the white mochi but they were out of it. My 2 friends and I demolished the huge bowl of it (we were hungry) but it is enough for a family of 4. It was my first time having it, but I'm picky about my desserts and shaved ice. The ice was so unique and it was a smorgasbord of textures to go from the ice to the pleasantly lumpy bean paste to the crunchy nuts and rice, to the creamy matcha ice cream. I bet an addition of mochi would've blown my mind. I *will* be coming back and bringing more friends.

Google
Bingsoo is great. Pricey but what can you do when they bring taste of korea overseas to the states. Highly recommend trying all of them. Definitely recommend making a reservation for 5 or more pax.

Yelp
How come I just discovered this place? Many thanks to my fellow friend and Yelper Joyce for bringing me o this place. I absolutely loved it. Soricha Tea and Theater is such a hidden gem! The atmosphere is serene and beautifully designed, perfect for relaxing and enjoying high-quality tea. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and guide you through their amazing tea selection. Every sip feels like an experience. Highly recommend for tea lovers or anyone looking for a unique and calming spot! and hey also serve shaved ice with many different flavors and toppings, and it goes well with tea.

Yelp
Hands down, this is one of my all-time favorite local spots!! Every detail here is thoughtfully curated, from the drinks to the desserts. My go-to order is the Roasted Dandelion smoothie (it tastes like coffee ice cream!), and when I'm with friends it's fun to share the Bingsoo ice desserts. The fruity drinks are also delightful refreshers. Try the berry or grapefruit! Another standout is their extensive tea collection. The servers take great care in steeping your tea and pouring it from beautiful glass pots. Note: The prices are a bit high, but for the quality, it's worth it. Come here to treat yourself to something special - rather than a daily habit! The decor is stunning, too. I love their handcrafted tables and the lovely watercolor paintings on the walls that you can gaze at for hours and feel completely zen! They also have some ancient artifacts on loan from the Korean Embassy! (this is a museum, gallery and café all in one!) An interesting tidbit: This teahouse is one of the first Korean "pansori" centers in the U.S. that features traditional Korean storytelling music. They're home to an award-winning drumming circle, and I highly recommend attending one of their performances. The first one I saw was incredibly moving, even though I didn't understand the lyrics. Such beautiful soulfulness and artistry -- a poetic extension of their craft.

Yelp
The ambiance is really nice here! However the prices are ridiculously expensive. We ordered the chrysanthemum tea pot which came out to be $25 which is insane for water + some tea leaves. I thought they marked the prices wrong in the online ordering portal and had a double take. Everything costs extra - sugar, honey, even an extra glass! An extra glass is $3 which is crazy to get an extra cup to use. The pot is tiny but at least they give you a bottle of hot water for refills which gives you more than the tiny bit you get from the original pot. We also got a croffle with ice cream and it was basically half an eggo waffle + small scoop of ice cream. Expect everything here to come miniature size! Would love to come here regularly for the ambiance but the prices are not justifiable (even if you live in NYC where prices are high - this is even higher than expected).

Yelp
I'm so glad I found this place. As soon as you enter, the change in atmosphere is immediate. It feels like stepping into a traditional-modern tea shop in Korea--it's really cool! Plus, the service was fantastic; you're greeted as soon as you walk in. The drinks were delicious--I tried the Matcha Latte and the Mugwort Matcha, and I loved the Mugwort more. I'm excited to try more items from their menu!

Yelp
It's a nice environment, it created a traditional South Korea atmosphere. The bowl of the bingsu is huge!! Bigger than the head lol. It didn't have many selections of the flavors, but it seems the store tries to serve more traditional side of the flavors and styles. The bingsu is also not too sweet, which is great.

Yelp
This is my favorite café in the Annandale area! The owner is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet, and you can truly see the care and attention put into the quality of everything they serve. It's one of the rare spots that makes me feel like I'm back in Korea, and I've never had anything here that I did not like. My go too are: 1. Hojicha Lattee (Little Sweet) 10 out of 10 2. Omjia Grapfruit Ade (Sweet and Sour) 10 out of 10 3. Bingsoo - There Bingsoo is really good but HUGE so definetly something you would have to share. (If you want to try an indvidual Bingsoo they sell it at their other location in Tysons) Overall, a beautiful and thoughtfully designed spot with a comforting ambiance and great service.

Yelp
I've been here two times so far. Pleasant tea and coffee shop. They are very welcoming and explain how the menu works. There are QR codes at the the table where you order from. Very attentive and nice service.

Yelp
So cute! It's the perfect place to do work on the weekdays, catch up with friends, and have a casual date! The wifi is fast and it's quiet enough to do work or study. The space is large with a variety of seating. It's beautifully decorated and the drinks are amazing! The injeolmi latte was warm and nutty, and my friend really enjoyed her hot matcha. The staff gives off the same vibes as the place; calm and welcoming. The mugwort matcha bing soo is also amazing! They have other flavors as well and they're all ginormous and I'd recommend getting one of you want something sweet and refreshing.

Yelp
Soricha is a hidden gem in Annandale with a calming ambiance. From the moment you step inside, "you almost feel like you're stepping into a cafe in Asia" - says my Japanese friend. The cafe's lighting is warm and the seats are comfortable. It's a great space to catch up with friends or catch up on personal work if you come alone. The menu is QR code style, and the staff brings you your food / drinks. First off, let's have a coffee chat about the bingsoo - it's GINORMOUS. Ever had a huge bowl of ramen at a Japanese restaurant? Yes. Your bingsoo will be THAT big. Come in a group of at least 3-5 people or else it'll be too much for a couple to eat (unless if you and your partner are major "sweettooths"). The portions are generous, and each bite is a heavenly combination of fluffy Korean shaved ice and delicious toppings. We've tried the black sesame and the injeolmi - both are super nutty, not too sweet (best compliment from an Asian), and topped well with complimentary toppings - cornflakes, almonds, and a scoop of red bean. You can add extra toppings if you'd like for an extra charge. Beyond bingsoo, Soricha offers an impressive variety of teas, drinks, and desserts - there's something for everyone, ranging from typical Asian flavors (matcha, black milk tea) to experimental (dandelion root, mugwort). Note that you may have to call in advance for a group larger than 5, as the space only offers two large tables. Whether you're a tea aficionado, a bingsoo lover, or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind by yourself or with friends, visiting Soricha is a must if you're in the DMV. I highly recommended! Expect to spend about $10-$40, as drinks and food are on the higher end here.

Yelp
Another amazing time, we ordered the black sesame bingsoo and it was perfect. I like adding mochi and red bean. The mochi somehow remains perfectly soft and the red bean is nice and sweet. I like ordering the tea because it's refreshing with the shaved ice. Ordering is convenient through the online system. I'm so happy it's busy and they were able to open a second location in Tysons. It's also amazing to see different generations all under one roof. I made a comment to my wife that I think this might be better than the bingsoo we had in Korea earlier this year. She looked at me O_O, but I stand by my decision.

Yelp
My go to spot for years. The owner is sweet and very cheerful, she hand preps and makes alot of the stuff if not all so I really liked that part. Returning back from Korea, I felt like this place was the closest to my liking and taste when it came down to Korean dessert and drinks. Ambiance is very cute and as if you walked into a mini Korean museum shop. I was obsessed with Omija. Their bingsoo is beautiful. Their overall presentation with everything is very pretty,& appealing to the eye. I like everything here. Also, for coffee lovers. This place is legit for coffee. They don't use "ice" for ice coffee drinks. They use frozen cubes of coffee. Brilliant.

Yelp
I love going to soricha. It's definitely one of the more traditional Korean dessert shops in terms of their decor and their flavors. Whether you're there to lock in for work or hanging out with friends, Soricha provides an environment comfortable for both! On a less full day, the service is pretty quick. On a fuller day, it'll definitely take a bit of time for your order to get to you. Definitely worth the wait though. All their bingsoo flavors are unique and so yummy! Tried the black sesame bingsoo for the first time; it was more nutty than I realized but still good regardless. Portions are so huge and perfect for a group of four.

Yelp
Outstanding teas and great place to meet friends. The place can get crowded so unsure if I would choose to work here. They also have a couple of floor tables to get a traditional experience. Uses Toaster menu for your table to order and then they bring you at the table, the menu has a ton of options so can get confusing but we got an herbal tea, a root tea and a tea based latte (see pictures) can be ordered as a pot or individual serving. I came here after about 10 years and they have completely revamped their menu for the good and haven't forgotten their traditional items. Loved this place, I don't think I would want to try a tea or a herbal drink at a 3rd wave cafe anymore after tasting these.
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
LOVE the Ingolmi bingsoo. It's HUGE, but if you enjoy bingsoo, it goes quickly. Took my family there and everyone devoured their bowl. It is a quaint place to sit and just chat with a cup of latte, which is also huge. Would go back every week if I didn't live so far away.
google avatar

Tasnia H.

Yelp
Food: amazingggg food in regards to the bingsoo and the tea set itself Service: was pretty good with no issues but it felt a little odd. I don't want to assume but I was followed around a bit (going to the bathroom or looking at their tea sets). It's not anything new, but it did feel a little unwelcoming for me as an individual. Ambiance: AMAZING, I fell in love with the fact that they had a floor seating area where you can take you shoes off and sit in. And they were playing animal crossing on the projector! This will be a a return spot for me bc I don't want the first unwelcoming experience to affect the amazing quality and ambiance of the location! Giving a 3/5 for the time being. Will be reviewing again within the next month and updating!

Yelp
One of the best (and most unique) desserts I've had in the D.C. area is in Annandale, Virginia. After Korean BBQ at nearby Kogiya, my friends were craving bingsu (shaved ice dessert), bringing us to this Korean tea house. On a Saturday evening around 9 p.m., it was packed, but we somehow managed to snag a small table for the four of us. Ordering via QR code on the table, a giant bowl of bingsu came to our table. Splitting it between three, we devoured the black sesame bingsu. It was more than enough for four of us and came with sliced almonds, black sesame, vanilla powder, and corn flakes on top of shaved ice. Frozen cream is in the middle and you pour a small jug of milk over the top before digging in. Our fourth friend ordered one of the waffles with ice cream and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend this spot! They also have a large tea menu and a few coffee products like lattes.

Yelp
I came here with friends for one thing. Bingsoo. This was the best bingsoo I've tried in the DMV. It wasn't too sweet. And I love that I can adjust the level of sweetness and add toppings. Perfectly crafted to my taste. The interior was open, bright and cozy. They had a floor space for you to sit Korean style. You order directly through their app or order at the counter. The staff were friendly and courteous. They will see me often.

Yelp
Someone recommend this place to me because they said they loved the bing-soo, but I didn't love it. I got the Greentea Bing-soo, and I did not like it, but that could also be because I don't really like green tea. I also like the mochi to be a little firmer and chewier, but it was pretty soft. I wish they had some bing-soo that was fruit flavored, like mango or something. It definitely isn't something I would come back to get. It also seems pretty expensive. I also ordered the Cro Waffle with whip cream and chocolate syrup. I didn't love it either. I didn't really like the texture of the waffle, and I thought the addition of the maple syrup was unnecessary. But, the waffle was very nicely presented and looked really good. The service was good, and I like the ambiance of the place. The space is very cute and has a decent amount of seating. With that said, I still probably wouldn't come back here again. I can see why people might like it, but I think it just isn't my cup of tea.
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
Food - 3. Service - 3 ambiance - 5 I didn't love the bingsu. I probably just like something with fruit but this was underwhelming. I like red bean and mochi and it should have been more enjoyable but I had two bites and didn't need more. The service was fine but they shooed us out the minute they were closed which was a little awkward too. Very nice ambiance, felt like a traditional tea house.

Yelp
The quality at this location can be hit or miss. On my most recent visit, the hojicha latte was watery and off-tasting. Having had this drink many times before, I know its usual flavor. When I politely asked a young worker to remake it, he responded with attitude and insisted that he made it exactly as ordered. It seems the quality of drinks depends largely on who is preparing them. However, the lady (possibly the owner or manager) is very pleasant. Despite the inconsistent drink quality, I still visit for the cozy interior and good vibes.
google avatar

Sharon H.

Yelp
You probably can't find another tea place somewhere more unique than Soricha. I love looking at their tea-ware collection and cups. The wooden table and decor is simply adorable. You can't help but also appreciate the stage, and on some nights they will project cute little animals on the screen. Other nights they will have performances, and it all adds to a relaxing and enjoyable vibe. The muscat oolong is very good, but not too strong. I adore the presentation. I will say that if you want to work here, you'll have to bear with the loud noises, but they have plenty of outlets on the side. Definitely coming back to relax and drink warm tea.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
Very cute cafe that serves an array of drinks and bingsoo! A lot of two-seat tables, so great to catch up with a friend or a romantic date. My friend and I ordered a latte and matcha latte, and both were delicious, and good quality (it's not cheap). There's a different area that has collectibles and tea memorabilia on display, although not for purchase. My only small complaint is that it took a longer-than-average time to receive the orders (more than 20 minutes..)
google avatar

Nina W.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and their service and food/drinks have always been consistently good. I've gotten a variety of items here, from their hot potted teas, cold drinks and smoothies, to their dessert bingsoos and waffles. I like that you can adjust the level of ice and sweetness to the drinks and desserts. My favorite items on the menu are the hojicha ones. I've had their lattes, smoothies, and bingsoo and they are all so good! It's really hard to find good hojicha in the area. I will say that on my last visit I ordered the Lychee Omi-berry lemonade and adjusted the sweetness to 50%, and it was still way too sweet for my liking. If you order that, I would choose the lowest level of sweetness for that drink. It's a decent sized place with really unique wooden tables to eat on. Parking can be tricky when it gets crowded there. I'll definitely be back here soon!

Yelp
This cafe, tucked away in the back of a strip mall, is a great place to hang out with friends or work on your computer. I was here on a Saturday afternoon, so it was quite busy, but we managed to snag the last table. For the menu, you scan the QR code on the table and the food is brought out to the table. They have the wifi and passcode right under the QR code. They have a large selection of drinks (teas and coffee) to choose from, bingsoo, and two desserts (rice cake waffle and cro waffle). The bingsoo looked huge, so I would definitely come back with a few friends to try it next time!
google avatar

Joshua H.

Yelp
The environment and experience are certainly enjoyable and relaxing. Prices are astronomical but part of it is paying for the vibes.
google avatar

Bradley L.

Yelp
First time I've ever had bingsoo and I'm glad to have been able to have that happen here. The cafe is super cozy. There's a beautiful elevated seating area where you can sit on the ground, but also plenty of seating with nice decorations everywhere. The bingsoo itself was HUGE. Definitely able to be split between 2-3 people. Can't wait to come back and try the other flavors!

Pei-Ching L.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. It's a lovely café with great Korean antiques decor, and I really like their tea and latte. The ordering system is convenient, too. However, the staff always seem kind of cold and not very happy.
google avatar

Jasmine J.

Yelp
If you like tea, this is a good place to go and really enjoy it. The inside was clean and the all staff were nice, if you had a question. Most of the ordering is done by scanning the QR code. The rose tea and small dessert bits came out very fast that I ordered. I recommend this place if you are just looking for a different experience.

Yelp
Soricha is known for their omija drinks, bingsoo, and some unique tisanes that are difficult to find elsewhere (e.g., ume blossom, actual balloon flower and not balloon flower root). Their Annandale location is also the only traditional Korean tea house in the area. I've been to their stall at Tyson's as well as the teahouse. I enjoyed all of the drinks I've tried, and the atmosphere of the teahouse was beautiful. That said, I think they could do a lot better. I've never been able to try their bingsoo, one of their signature items, because I visited the teahouse by myself and the bingsoo is very large and meant to be shared with 3-4 people. Their Tyson's location does sell a cup size of one flavor of bingsoo, but it's unfortunate that they are not accommodating of solo customers at their teahouse. If you're looking to spend some quality time by yourself at the teahouse, you won't be able to try everything on their menu. I also wish that there was a better selection of actual teas. There are a lot of lattes, various drinks, tisanes, and some teas like Assam, Earl Grey, Da Hong Pao, but for a traditional Korean teahouse, I was hoping they would feature more East Asian teas. There is a Korean tea farm in Virginia called Green Hills Tea that grows and produces balhyocha. I'm not sure if the owner is aware, but this could be an opportunity for a partnership and to feature a traditional Korean tea on the menu.

Yelp
Cool interior-- cafe vibes with traditional Korean furniture. We shared a crowaffle, rice cake waffle with ice cream and black sesame bingsoo. All three were divine. Crowaffle is sweeter than rice cake waffle (because it's drizzled w honey). I LOVED both. Rice cake waffle has a chewier bite- majority at table preferred rice cake waffle. Bingsoo was MASSIVE. It came out in a giant nengmyun bowl- very reasonably priced. It was so nutty, refreshing, and not too sweet. There is a register. There is also a QR code to order food/drinks on each table for convenience.

Yelp
Located in Annandale near K Market International, a large Korean grocery store, this cozy cafe specializes in a diverse selection of teas, teawares, traditional Korean desserts, fusion desserts, and coffee drinks. The restaurant also offers fusion lattes in a beautiful setting adorned with Korean objects and design items. Additionally, the venue is used for Korean theatre performances and cultural events and is home to the Sorichung Korean Traditional Music Institute. I've tried their bingsu and waffle, both of which were delightful. Their latte, made with two espresso shots, was solid and flavorful. Overall, I found every aspect of the cafe to be fantastic.

Yelp
This place was bustling with people!! Though I didn't personally try it their bingsoo seemed pretty big, hence it being over $20. It looked pretty good; I would come again to try it next time though! The injeolmi latte was pretty good (I would add the espresso shot; single shot wasn't enough tbh) This place could work as a study or chat cafe! They have small table seatings as well as large ones. They have parking + wifi + some outlets! The only thing is I wish they had a cashier ordering system or something and not just a QR code with mobile order. I feel like if my parents were to come alone, they would have a lot of difficulty ordering through their system:,)
google avatar

Clara S.

Yelp
I've been here twice and both times, the bingsoo were great (and super big). The drinks, however, were a bit too sweet for my taste. The overall ambiance is very casual and chill-- great to come with friends and family. The service was great too!
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
The most generous portions I've ever seen! Take a team of 4 or above, 3 people won't cut it. Hazelnut espresso has red bean, nuts, cereal, icecream, and chocolate on the bottom. The interior has Studio Ghibli scenes playing on a projector, cute seating areas with cushions, and a wide open space!
google avatar

Alexandra A.

Yelp
I was excited to see this place was so close to my apartment! The inside is really quaint and cozy. They had a projector with peaceful art scenes and music. The bingsoo was soo huge even splitting it between two people was a lot. The iced coffee was fine. I would want to try a tea instead. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Kay P.

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite dessert spots! Love all their teas, bingsoos, and especially their Sesame mochi waffle! Pretty pleasant interior, unique decor with history and traditional culture touches! Sometimes they will play a movie or so with the projector~ Would definitely recommend to bring friends to share many different desserts and some of their portions are pretty large! I would say the only thing is that the items are quite pricey~ Overall 8.5/10 would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
I talk about this place all the time and I'm finally getting around to reviewing it I cannot recommend this place enough! Stop what you're doing and go. The food is delicious the service is through your phone on an app and extremely quick. And the ambiance is quiet, calm, and traditional.
google avatar

Virginia H.

Yelp
This is a more traditional tea house than the usual dessert shops in the area. We tried the Plum Blossom Pot. I loved the presentation of the tea set; very aesthetically pleasing that matched the vibe of the interior! The tea had a light and sweet taste and the aroma gave us a relaxing feeling. They also provide a thermos of hot water so we were able to refill the tea pot. There is a stage in the center for performances, but when it is not in use people can sit in that area. The service was great and the staff were very helpful with everything!
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
If you find a unique place for dessert, chill time, chatting. I think this is the one. Cozy spot, server was nice. Definitely come back. The bingsoo was huge. You barely finish it with 4 people.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
I love it here! The staff are so kind, and the atmosphere is so cute. There was animal crossing playing on the projector screen. My boyfriend and I split the black sesame bingsoo with red bean and oat milk, and it was SO delicious. It was my 2nd time, but his 1st time here. What a great summer treat! It was about $26 for an extremely large bowl, that we probably could have split with one more person. You can also choose your sweetness level (we chose 75%) which I always appreciate. Definitely a "not too sweet" treat with the perfect amount of crunch and nuttiness.

Yelp
Best bingsoo in town! I think they might have reduced their menu during Covid and some of my favorite items were no longer available, but I still like it a lot. Good vibe and great desserts:)

Yelp
Came here on a date and loved the cafe. Peaceful and casual. Our server was very friendly. We ordered the Roasted Dandelion Bingsoo and actually finished the whole thing, which I'm told is difficult to do because the order is so large. Really good for my first Bingsoo. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Beautiful and interesting cafe with Korean theator and cultural goods! The service is nice and brings items to your table after you order through the QR code. The drinks and rice cake waffle were great and flavorful! There is also a lot of seating, wifi, and some outlets. The music is instrumental and is good for getting most types of work done!

Yelp
I can't get enough of this place. It's my go to for bingsoo. It is quite pricey but the flavors and portion size is amazing (Although it is smaller than it seems, 3 people after dinner could easily demolish it from my experience). Their teas are so fun and delicious as well and the atmosphere is lovely. I've tried their rice waffles and croffles but I wasn't a fan. You order on your phone which is pretty convenient.

Yelp
The ambiance is amazing - super cute for a date or some photos with friends. I would totally go back for the decor and vibe alone. We got the Black Sesame Bingsoo. Shaved ice was super soft AND was flavored (as all bingsoo should be!!). Price justifies size and quality, don't worry. There's even a scoop of ice cream in the middle of the mound. If you're eating here as a dessert after dinner like we did, bring a crew; there's a lot to finish.

Yelp
I'm so happy Soricha is doing well. I had brought a friend who I'd been driving around all day eating lots of foods here as the final grande finale. He was pretty full but once he sat the bingsu he had no problem sharing it with me and my wife. I always add red bean and mochi. The red bean is quite sweet and the mochi is super soft and bouncy. I think this is better than anything I had in Korea. Perhaps, I am an old man but eventually would like to be able to have an injeolmi/mugwort flavor as a bingsu. The drinks are always good. I always make the same mistake of getting a smoothie when I should get the teas. Next time next time I will get the tea. There is a good mix of people of all ages, Korean and non-Koreans. My friend instantly commented how amazing the decor is. The smallest groups we saw generally were at least 3... because the bingsu is massive. We saw a group of 6 share one. Even if you're a big eater like me.. bring friends. Lovely experience, this is a place I always recommend. The last time I was at the TD Bank I recommended Soricha to the employees.

Yelp
One of my favorite dessert places in the DMV area. My friend and I got the injeolmi latte and Hojicha latte. I was a bit afraid that getting 100% sweet would be too sweet, but it was the perfect amount of sweetness and was glad I did not go down on the level. I appreciated the taste of the injeolmi latte, but it reminded me of misugaru which I felt like I could get at home. I did appreciate the taste of the hojicha latte more. We also got the black sesame bingsoo. Did not feel the need to add extra toppings. The portions are big and could easily be shared by 3-4 people. I loved the strong flavor of the crushed black sesame on top of the creamy shaved ice. There are so many unique desserts and drinks to try at soricha. I do not think there is anything else like it in the DMV area. Will be coming back to try different flavors in the future!

Yelp
By far my favorite bingsoo / dessert place in the area. The bingsoo is sooo big so bring a few friends. I've been here so many times, brought so many of my friends here and they all love it. My favorite version so far has been the dandelion one. It's just the perfect combination of textures and flavors. The shaved ice is so light and fluffy compared to other spots. The corn flakes are a great addition for the crunch. It comes with a side of condensed milk if you want some extra sweetness but I think it's good the way it is. This place also has cute decor making it a great date spot. If your a student, I always see people studying in here too. Would recommend this place to everyone 10/10

Yelp
A gem of a place. The vibe here is so soothing. I see people working or meeting up in small to large groups. The online ordering takes a little getting used to, because there are a lot of offerings and I think it is worth perusing and looking at the options. There is a wide variety of drinks you can get there or they have milk tea in bottles to go, which is so convenient and delicious. I love the giant bingsoos here. Be warned that they are huge and I think it takes a minimum of three super excited people with sweet teeth or four people who aren't already full from dinner. I adore the black sesame and injeolmi flavors.
