Yeah I made it to Cerritos just to try Sorry Not Sorry, knowing how popular they've been, coming all the way from Las Vegas! The cute vibrant venue seemed to be consistently busy with decent line.
They offered quite rich selection of flavors with 16 of them were their classic and 4 were rotational ones. Not to waste the opportunity, I didn't think twice to order flight, serving 4 giant scoops of ice cream.
If I had to assign my rating to each, I would go with the below. Disclaimer, YMMV.
Triple Chocolate Chunk Brownie 6.5/10
Ube Honeycomb 7/10
O.G. Buttercake 8/10
Campfire S'mores 8.5/10
The first was nice, bold in chocolate flavor, but I would say nothing really standout from SNS version.
Second was unique one with Asian touch, carrying ube as the main flavor sweetened by the honeycomb pairing. My BF and my friend had this as their #1, but for me I fancied bolder ube taste despite I did admit it's pretty decadent.
Third was my FAVE, as I was a huge fan of butter cake and I almost always loved cream cheese / cheesecake flavored ice cream. I thought SNS surely nailed it very well, with right balance of sweetness and creaminess. Could surely land tight competition with Jen*'s #IYKYK ;) .
I rated the Campfire Smore's the highest given all I know have tried it, had common opinion towards this flavor that it's distinctively YUM! Coming with toasted marshmallow base, it gave that nice burnt hint and all the mix-ins totally made you feel like eating smore's in the form of ice cream, which also delivered great combo of texture from the chocolate bars and the graham crackers.
Looking forward to trying more of the new rotational flavors!
