I was in Seattle yesterday and I bought 5 bags of dried Strawberries, supposed to be $30 each. I tested one for myself to see if I would want one but it was a little too sweet so I knew my family wouldn't help me out.
The staff was very friendly, however, I noticed a price mistake on my receipt. I'm usually a pretty shy person, and I don't like confrontation, so I just tried to justify it.. Maybe.. maybe, there's some really strange tax or what not, oh well, I tried not to question it and I didn't want to seem rude to the lady who was helping me out.
I was buying these for people so then people would have had to pay me back, and either I would have had to take a loss, or I would have to charge my friends a little extra.
Anyhow, my brother convinced me to get on the phone with them (I'm already back in California now), and tell them about the price mistake. I think I spoke to a "Mike", and he was very understanding and helped fixed the situation right away! I'm very thankful that he made it a lot easier than I thought it would be, I was a little stressed out and having some anxiety trying to call, I didn't want to be, "that" customer, but I'm glad it was quick and simple.
I'll always love to support a local honest business.
