Stayed here for one night in May 2025 and would highly recommend if you want to see Deadvlei at sunrise and hike dune 45 for sunset. If you’re not too bothered about that, I’m not sure it would be worth the price tag. There are lots of nice accommodation outside the park gates for much less.

The tent was huge. The surrounding was beautiful. The room was a bit dusty though staff tried to keep it as clean as they can. One downside is the lack of AC with afternoon temp reached about 40C. The night was in 20's so it's more bearable.||The location is just inside the national park. We took the morning excursion to Sossusvlei. We were first car there and the guide secured the best picnic spot for us.||Highly recommended

A truly amazing experience. The accommodations are unique and spacious. The service and staff are impeccable. I felt welcomed and totally comfortable. The food is delicious, well presented, and huge portions. It was a great location to photograph the Milky Way from your porch overlooking the Namib Desert

Best hotel in Sesriem! Bonus it’s inside the park and allows early access and late return to all the highlights! Well recommend staying here. Food was excellent too. The rooms were a little bit far to walk too but was great for taking photos then the night sky and having your quiet time.

Great location (for excursions!) for Sesrium Canyon and Elim Dune for sunset. Service, facilities and meals were much better than expected! Catered for our vegan and vegetarian diets, and the views from the room were great. The bathroom design and hot running water was amazing. Had a fridge, but no AC. Pity we couldnt enjoy the sunrise, due to our early excursion - climbing Dune 45 and Deadvlei.

We just came for the sunset view at dinner, great view and restaurant environment. The food is reasonable we ordered a main dish plate only which comes with meat, pasta and vegetables at 150N. As there was no food menu it caused some confusion, there’s only appetizer, main dish and dessert to choose from. The steak and chicken were delicious and big portion. But couldn’t say it’s fine dining standard. Wifi is not free. The staff was very attentive to remind us to go another way due the closed gate after 1930, the road passing by the canyon is quite bumpy, if you want to avoid this better leave before the gate close. —- Note: this hotel has the closest access to the dunes to and sossusvlei.

Major benefit is that you are inside the park gates so can head to Deadvlei much earlier than those staying at other places. Looks like quaint African huts but lack of air conditioning means the rooms get sweltering hot. WiFi not working (apparently out for a while) waiting for someone to come from Windhoek to fix it. Evening meal - only 1 starter, choice of 2 mains and 1 dessert. Despite the limited choice the food was really tasty. Packed breakfasts were excellent, just what we needed after a hard morning's photography at Deadvlei. No TV or radio in rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only stay here if you can cope with high temperatures.

Basic hotel with amazing location inside the park so you can be the first to go see the dunes in the morning with a breakfast to go. Large room with very nice view on dunes. Restaurant is super basic. staff service was a miss, Internet was not working . Pool with dunes view.
