If you're new to yoga, looking to strengthen your own practice, wanting to find a different way to move your body, tune into the spiritual warrior that you are or just even work up a good sweat, Souk Studio welcomes all. The space is clean and fully equipped with high quality props. The community is friendly and warm and the classes are filled with sounds of chanting, deep ujjayi breathing, awesome playlists and laughter. Don't worry about which teacher to take as all of the teachers here are the best of NYC and every single one of them brings their own uniqueness that creates the dynamic of Souk Studio.

Travelled halfway around the world to practice here. So worth it! Souk is an incredible offering of teachers and styles and it’s a strong yoga community. Can’t wait to be back.

I really love this place! The Souk fold, the team running the studio, is wholeheartedly dedicated to creating an atmosphere that promotes healing, openness, inner expanse, and connection. They genuinely care about each and every student, which is evident in so many ways. Side note: I was so moved by this place that I even brought a bonsai tree. Hal the Banyan now lives there. Say hello before your stretching, or sound bath, or meditation. 💚

Most incredible Yoga studio in so many ways with the best sound, music, teachers, ambience in NYC right next to Madison Square Park. You can also stream live classes from anywhere in the world, but nothing beats in-person hands on assists from the most incredible teachers. Love the JIVAMUKTI Open classes for all levels that will balance you out and keep you coming back for more. Take a 65 minute Souk Sweat class that will work up a sweat in the morning or afternoon, or dive deeper into a longer 90 minute class that includes chanting and a meaningful Dharma talk that will always inspire you. They have it all for everyone to enjoy , learn and develop your Yoga practice. Namaste SOUK <3

SOUK Yoga Studio is the best of the best! Rima and her team have created something truly special and I can tell it's only the beginning of what will continue to grow into a beautiful community. I am so grateful I was able to practice there for a week while on vacation in NYC, but I felt at home every time I stepped into the space. Each instructor made a point to note and remember my name, they gave hands-on adjustments throughout the entire class that allowed me to deepen my practice and feel better in my body, and every class I took was excellent - unique, challenging, and inspiring. The studio is gorgeous and clean and has all the amenities you need including showers, mats, lockers, and a water station. I am so grateful I got to experience the magic of SOUK Yoga Studio and plan to be back every time I visit the city, it's my home studio away from my home studio, no question.

I've started going and it's pretty amazing how the instruction is so detailed. (which I appreciate) . I always walk away learning something. The instructors I've gone to have all been stellar. Music, ambiance is all incredible. It's very calm and I appreciate the no phone policy. I went to a yoga studio before where people were always talking and bringing their phones in class. I have fallen in love with this place! This is a home for people who really want to do yoga and not just go for a workout. Everyone is respectful and kind. The teachers have also been so kind and caring.

I’m not from New York, but when I’m in town I try to get here at least once. It’s as amazing for visitors as it is for locals. Their studio mats are high-quality so you don’t have to lug your own around the city. The space is gorgeous and the community is solid — once I went when it was the teacher’s birthday. The students got her cake and everyone sang happy birthday during savasana! It’s authentic yoga and the teachers are super knowledgeable. There’s a variety of levels — lots of advanced students but plenty of beginners too and people are very friendly. No matter your level you’ll fit in! The locker rooms have showers, blow dryers, and lockers with locks. Temp is warmer — be prepared to sweat.

My favorite yoga studio in NYC! The studio itself is absolutely beautiful . The staff, community and teachers are all warm and inviting- I felt right at home ever since I took my first class at SOUK. The classes themselves are great- a perfect blend of challenging, sweaty vinyasa and chill, deep stretches. The music and sound system are incredible and really set the tone. I love the dharma talks and chanting- even if it feels strange in the beginning, once you feel the soothing effects you’ll jump right in! I highly recommend SOUK for all levels from beginners to advanced students.
