My husband and I went on a weekend trip to Galveston. I saw the reviews on this spot and it did not disappoint us at all. The fish and sides were excellent!! We enjoyed every bite. The staff are extremely nice and attentive. We tried the banana pudding for desert and it was delicious. The people sitting on the table next to us tried the cake and commented how good it is. I highly recommend if you are looking for old school soul food come to this place.

1st time to visit Soul 2 Soul and I must admit it was a welcomed surprise. Staff was welcoming and warm, which matters greatly to me. Food was hot and flavorful. Please, when in the big city of Galveston, I urge you to check out Soul 2 Soul. Ms. Ouida Cook is a jewel.

My goodness, this place has some of the best food I've ever tasted! Great portion sizes, free refills on drinks, a homey atmosphere, and incredible food? I had the Fish and etouffee, fried okra, and tea. All were mind blowingly delicious!! Oh and their cornbread? Heavenly. I absolutely recommend this gem!

Very nice place....food was cooked to order pork chops where seasoned perfectly, greens where seasoned good and Mac n cheese was good. When I'm on the island again I will definitely be back.

Had a delicious meal yesterday at Soul 2 Soul in Galveston with my husband. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food packed with flavor, and we were surprised with complimentary margaritas. Highly recommend!

I say hole in the wall, with the untmost respect. Hidden gem, amazing people. Food was drained perfect. Collards had hammock bones in it so you know it's made with love. Mac and cheese on point and the catfish was perfect. Highly highly highly recommend.. oooooh and the kool aid was perfect on this hot day. Fix it and mix it😉

Food was great I had the Fried ribs and they were amazing…even enjoyed a nice free cocktail with my purchase and it was amazing. If you’re looking for great soul food in Galveston this is the spot. Food is very flavorful and soulful..I will be back when I come to Galveston
