Absolutely obsessed with this place. Came with a group of friends on our way to the Oakland airport and randomly chose this spot. I got the banana fosters latte and it was everything I wanted, and more like perfect. I got the avocado toast with pesto aïoli and I think it’s the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. super hearty so many different flavors going on. Staff was super friendly and attentive. atmosphere was great. I think my new favorite spot in the area

Amazing coffee shop! They have great coffee, pastries, toasts, and wraps. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. It’s also dog-friendly. It’s overall such a vibe here. I’ll be coming back routinely for my coffee.

Good vibes and amazing coffee. The berberé coffee made me say wot. They had the Rwandan beans on rotation when I visited. Highly recommend.

Visiting Soul Blends Coffee Roasters in West Oakland was an awesome experience. It’s the only spot in the area offering both quality coffee and hot food, tucked into a cozy corner location with seating available both indoors and out. The interior is rich with cultural character, making it a vibrant and welcoming space. The coffee is solid—flavorful and constantly rotating, which keeps things interesting. They also sell their own bagged coffee and offer a mouthwatering breakfast menu (even though I didn’t eat this time, everything looked delicious). What really sets Soul Blends apart are the owners. They’re genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet—passionate, welcoming, and still active in the local scene with pop-ups. Whether you're a dedicated coffee lover or just looking to support a standout local business, Soul Blends is worth the visit. Let’s keep gems like this thriving in Oakland.

My new favorite place to study/chill. The music is the perfect background noise for studying, the coffee is great, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is just a breath of fresh air. In addition to this, not only is the food great but tastes fresh. It doesn’t taste like your traditional coffee shop food that’s been sitting around/frozen waiting for someone to come gamble with their health. Great place to get some studying or work done. Maybe even meet up and chat with a friend. Check them out!

Wonderful new spot in the neighborhood. A great coffeeshop within walking distance from home (for us). So happy to see this coffeeshop pop up in West Oakland. The interior design is excellent, the service is friendly, the mocha is smooth, the banana bread was tasty, and the overall vibe is two thumbs up. Great indoor and sidewalk seating. Excellent spot to bring a book and read or hang out and enjoy the neighborhood. It looks like they have plenty of events planned. The only minus is that they close at 4pm, so I can't ever get here on a weekday.

Small lay back coffee house. Excellent unique drinks. I had honey lavender pistachio latte. Very flavorful and such a delight.

Came to Soul Blends and got an iced oat milk latte and the pesto toast. The cream pesto is incredible and I would definitely have again. The espresso was also so yummy and the employees are so kind - coming back next time im in town!
