"Soul Grind Coffee is Pacifica’s go-to spot for pourover coffee, batch brew, lattes, and light breakfast fare. With plenty of outdoor seating steps from a public parking lot more or less meant for surfers hitting Linda Mar, this cafe is a must to start the day. Fresh food to-go is plentiful here; there’s a vegan hummus toast and a smoked salmon toast, and on the weekends lemon ricotta pancakes and lox bagels. Feel free to order ahead as the lines here can be gnarly for a pre-caffeinated brain." - Paolo Bicchieri

Tons of breakfast options, great vibes, outside seating, ocean-adjacent views, dog-friendly (outside). The pear almond tart was the best pastry I had that week -- nay, that month. I wish I bought more. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Last Saturday, we went to support my dear friend, who is an artist. After some time, we got hungry and decided to try the food at Soul Grind. They were extremely busy that day, so we had to wait a while for our food. However, each bite was absolutely delicious and melted in our mouths. The dishes were rich with a smoky depth and a hint of spice. It was clear that this kind of meal takes time to prepare, but the first taste proved that it was worth every second.

There are coffee shop experiences and then there's a coffee shop experience with that great beach town experience. And in spite of the stormy gloomy weather that was happening at the time of my visit, not even inclement conditions could suppress the cool vibe this place exuded. I could tell many were locals as they rattled off their orders with ease and that sense of familiarity which added to the warmth and hometown feeling at this place. I only had coffee and so did my friend who invited me to this place, so I can't speak much of the food, but from my observations, the dishes that went whizzing past me looked great. The atmosphere there was spirited, perhaps accentuated by the fact that all the customers were inside as the outdoor spaces were inhabitable. Between the customers and the staff, the energy of this place was invigorating, one that is truly organic that I feel has developed over time. I highly recommend this place that truly exemplifies the term neighborhood coffee shop to its fullest.

I think I just had the best bagel sandwich of my life! I was coming directly from the airport, and I was super hungry, I stopped here to charge my car at the ev go station and have something to eat, and wow everything was amazing! The latte was so good and not to say anything about the pancakes. The beach is also very close. I definitely recommend

Best breakfast we had in California! Freshly-grinded great coffee, great environment, style, and fabulous overall experience. Would surely come again, and highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Another visit, another incredible cup of coffee! They have a few gluten free options for food items as well in there. Smells and tastes awesome!

Cute vibes inside the shop! The food was alright, my partner got the Beach Combo and said her fried eggs were very bland and mushy, sausage was okay, and the pancake was good! I got the avocado egg toast with bacon added in. Mine was pretty good, very healthy but not a lot of flavor, I’m used to a lot more avocado on my avocado toast so I felt like it was lacking in that way but the rest was pretty good for me. We also got two drinks, the Caramel Vanilla Latte and the Matcha Chai Latte. I thought the Caramel Vanilla Latte was really good, though the Matcha Chai Latte was pretty bad sadly. It was really grainy, too much matcha was added, and I’m usually someone who prefers their matcha strong, but this was just too much and not blended well unfortunately.

Yelp
I went here for the first time with my cousin, on our way south towards Half Moon Bay from SF... I totally loved it!!! Loved the food, the coffee and had a great time sitting outside enjoying the sun.. it's just a hop, skip and jump away from the beach.. I will definitely go back again anytime I'm in that area..

Yelp
I went here for the first time to meet a friend and had a wonderful experience. Fantastic coffee shop experience with a great beach town vibe. Although the weather was cool and foggy, nothing could spoil the great time sitting outside observing surfers, dogs, and locals alike. I had a pour over (medium roast) with the steel cut oats. The coffee was so perfectly balanced, not bitter, and just right, I didn't need cream or sugar. The oats were amazing. So perfectly textured and creamy, with a nutty flavor. I thought they had made it with heavy cream. I was astounded to learn they hadn't. Fantastic experience, def. try it if you get the chance. Everything that went by our table, from omlettes to salads, looked delicious. I can't wait to try the other goodies on the menu.

Yelp
Wow this place is busy. The line was out the door. The coffee was good and the menu is vast. As soon as you come in you can see the menu and real menu items at the register. Sooo yummy. When the food was coming out it looked so good passing by. I got the mocha and I was very pleased. There was a young girl out front with her art work. It was made with the coffee grounds - quite amazing. Her name is Chi . I'll come back and try the full Menu. I was dropping by to see the art which caught my eye. I'm glad I did.

Yelp
3.5 stars from me! This spot allows dogs in the back patio area and outside, they're not allowed to sit with you indoors fyi. I met up with two friends for brunch, and by 11:30 AM, the line was already stretching out the door. They have a cute display at the counter showing what the dishes look like, which helps when deciding. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. I'd recommend having someone in your group grab a table while another person orders, since the line moves slowly, and most people use that time to read the menu. I ordered a matcha chai latte and one of the basic breakfast combos--one fried egg, one pancake, and some chicken sausages--which came out to around $32. Overall, the food was average and not particularly memorable. I think this place gets a lot of hype because of its prime location--it's literally right next to the beach, with little competition for brunch in the area. My friends and I planned to hit the beach afterward, so it made sense logistically. Parking is fairly easy since there's a large lot shared with a grocery store, though you might have to walk across it. Next time, I'd probably choose a different eatery in Pacifica and then drive to the beach instead!

Yelp
Super cute place! We came by pretty early on a Sunday morning and beat the crowd rush. Ambiance: 5/5 Huge open space that allows tons of natural lighting. They also have a backyard space with a lot of tables so you can always head outside if it's not too cold. The interior space is decorated finely and gives you a nostalgic feeling, Service: 5/5 Everyone we came across was friendly and welcoming to their shop. Drinks: 4/5 Gingerbread latte + hazelnut latte - Both didn't come out piping hot, which we appreciated because we were able to taste our drinks right away. Hazelnut's nutty flavor was on point. Both drinks were creamy and delicious. We'll come by next time and try their food. **I wish they didn't let dogs inside the space because there were SO many of them inside (I also have a dog so I have nothing against them) but one of my friends has a really bad allergy to dogs and it's concerning how they had an open door policy on them**

Yelp
Pro-Tip: order online to skip the line on a busy brunch morning! The NOLA I got was not very good - it had a strange acidity and intense bitterness that was past the point of enjoyable. I came home and add a bunch of milk to make it barely palatable. However, the brunch foods were very solid! I got a Local's Only with scrambled eggs. The bacon was crispy, eggs very standard, and waffle was fluffy! The maple syrup was also real maple, which is a nice touch. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but it was decent and a good option if you are in Pacifica!

Yelp
I love the beach, I love matcha and this place has both! With a wide selection of drink options, pastries and breakfast/brunch items Soul Grind is a great place to get a morning or midday coffee and meal. This is my third time here and while I had previously stuck to just ordering a matcha and a pastry, I decided to try their sandwich this time. I had the chicken club with pesto and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the pastrami sandwich and he enjoyed it too. Paired with hot drinks, the food was nice and filling. I went on a Sunday so it was pretty packed inside. Although it was cold, we sat outside and it was still really nice. They always have good music playing too. This cafe will always be my favorite and I can't wait to try the other items on their menu. They have each item displayed on the front counter so you know what to expect. Parking is easy with the big parking lot and if you love coastal views, good food and coffee, you'll surely enjoy this place as much as I have.

Yelp
Such a cool experience heading to one of the best coffee spots in Pacifica ~ with a line out the door and surfers coming/going from the coast, it's def the spot to be. Walking distance from our overnight lodging, we had the opportunity of having Soul Grind a few times during our stay in Pacifica. You can scan a QR code to view the menu while in line to speed up your time with the cashier, or there are actual menus to grab when you get through the front door. Really great menu of in-house roasted coffee, a selection of teas, "soul chai", teas, iced drinks, and fun specialties like charcoal lattes and a latte with a home-made mix of vanilla & caramel called the Cliffside. The food menu is stellar with a little something for everyone ~ breakfast bagels, parfaits, toasts, quiches, soup/sandwiches, hearty grain salads, pastries/quick grab desserts, and brunch on weekends (Friday-Sunday;7am - 1PM). The iced chai, macchiato, and iced cold brew (slow-brewed for 18 hours), were perfection. We chose to grab brunch at another spot because we were on limited time, but would def come back to grab something fun from the menu. Friendly service, line moves quick if prepared, and can't beat the awesome people watching/surfer gazing. And there's plenty of cool merch to think over while waiting your turn. All in all, the hype is real..I was hangin all the way ten' for sure!

Yelp
I wrote a review roughly 6+ years ago about Soul Grind and my only complaint seemed to be the customer service. You would think that 6 years later, the customer service would've improved. It hasn't. Soul Grind, your customer service is dog shit. Your baristas are rude and condescending as hell. Now, I will take 100% of them blame for not paying attention and opening the wrong door. I missed the sign, what excuse would you like because I have a few. I just wasn't paying attention. My bad. With the glares I recieved you would've thought I came in hot, causing a scene. I may have also missed the sign that said to check in with a barista if you have a mobile order. Apparently you do! Not to worry, the barista will make sure to patronize you so (hopefully) you won't forget going forward. I checked the ordering site, the confirmation email, and the confirmation texts and nothing says to check in with a barista (kind of like Philz) if you've made a mobile order. That may be something you'd want to add so your customers know ahead of time and don't stand there while being completely ignored by 3 baristas (I was the only one standing by the coffee bar, btw) While I appreciate the hot and ready coffee/latte, it defeats the whole purpose of using that feature. Your coffee is mediocre at best and that's only because there are no other coffee shops in Pacifica to compare you to. Have the day ya'll deserve!

Yelp
I came here after working and had a hot chocolate. Since it's about 5 minute walk from beach I was able to see the sunset with my hot chocolate and it was chilly. Basically perfect end to my day. The chocolate was super good, I was pleasantly surprised. The waffle plate I got was a little dry for my liking, but I also didn't ask for extra syrup like I normally do. Overall good spot, cute ambiance, it's like a coffee shop with a view. All workers are friendly and make you feel welcomed. Check it out if you can!

Annie S.

Yelp
Breakfast bagel is so good. Add some hot sauce if you're ok with a little spice and it makes it even tastier!!!!! Cubano also a great coffee option. Not too sweet! Grab some food and eat at the beach or at the peak of a hike! Parking can get tough so order ahead online or come here with others and split the group to wait in line and to look for parking!

Lauryn S.

Yelp
this cafe is really cute and truly lives up to that beachy ambiance with all the surfers that come in to grab a bite after catching some waves. food was delicious! the spinach and mushroom quiche isn't the prettiest but i'm not lying when i say it's the BEST quiche i've ever had. so fluffy and flavorful--i would go back just for this. the bacon & avo toast was good but standard & a little messy to eat due to the bread being hard to cut/bite into. the lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy but the lemon flavor was very subtle. presentation for both food/drinks were beautiful. my mom got a hazelnut latte and i got the chai latte. both were yummy. their coffee beans have a fruity undertone to them which i thought was interesting! the chai has a lot of spice. i liked it but it may be too much for someone that's just getting into chai. overall i would like to return in the future (to get the quiche again of course). it gets pretty busy in here & seating could be difficult if you go during peak hours but i think it's worth trying!

Yelp
This cute café is located on Highway 1 in a shopping plaza, which makes it perfect for a pit stop either before or after a beach trip. I came here for the first time last year for brunch with a companion before a day trip to Pacifica. +Cliffside -Bali Bowl -Smoked Salmon Toast While driving back from Half Moon Bay, my dad wanted some coffee, and I saw this place from the corner of my eye, so we pulled in. Our order: Cafe au Lait ($4.95) w/dark roast (+$0.50) +Single Origin Ethiopia (according to my receipt) was deep and rich. +Whole milk made for a smooth and balanced drink. -Pricing wasn't transparent: The cashier asked me what type of roast I wanted (light, medium, or dark). I selected dark roast, and she didn't mention any differences in price. After getting my receipt, I saw that it was an additional $0.50. Blue Matcha: $6.25 +Blue color and latte art made for an aesthetically pleasing drink. +Floral notes from the butterfly pea flower -Couldn't taste the matcha -As someone who usually orders boba at 25-50% sweetness, I wish this was sweeter. *Verdict: Relaxing café with creative drink & food options. We ordered to-go this time, but I'd love to come back to relax with a hot beverage and a dessert sometime.

Eva C.

Yelp
Super aesthetic spot! The vibes are great, and the inside is super cute, though I do think the food is a bit overpriced for what it is. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable, especially with the great service. You line up to order first, and they give you a number stand to take with you as you find your own seat. I really liked how they had a display of food items as it's helpful to see what you're getting before ordering. I tried the California Bruschetta, which came with a side salad, and I also got an Iced Matcha. Both were tasty. Plus, parking was easy, which is always a win!

Yelp
MLK 2025 Weekend Soul Grind, Pacific Coast Hwy Pacifica, California Second time is a Charm ! Crumble Cake and Cubano Latte, no mods Delicious ! Warm and very filling. One, two, three, four, FIVE Stars! I approve this rating, Jay M.

Annabelle R.

Yelp
There was a long line this past Saturday, the wait to order was about 40 minutes, clearly a busy day due to the dog surfing event at the beach nearby. But the staff was kind and accommodating regardless, so I have no complaints about the service. My sandwich and beverage were ready in just 5 minutes after ordering. The brekkie sandwich was tasty, smoked ham, fluffy eggs, and melted cheddar on a soft and flaky croissant bun, a bit salty but so good. The iced mocha which I got with nonfat milk had a strong coffee flavor, would have liked it a little sweeter, but it wasn't bad, just my preference. With coffee grinding and orange juice being freshly squeezed right in front of you, the quality of the products here can't be missed. There was a nice outdoor seating area, but  there were a lot of bees flying around the tables, so inside or at the beach would be the more ideal options for enjoying a meal. This place is actually a sit down cafe where servers bring out dishes to your table if you're dining in. With island music playing in the background, and a chill and inviting atmosphere, this is definitely a great spot to grab some coffee or snacks in Pacifica.

Joyce H.

Yelp
Went to Soul Grind with my friend and had a lovely time. I had the Breakfast Bagel which consists of smoked ham, eggs, cheddar, cream cheese & tomatoes on a freshly baked bagel. I requested no ham and no cream cheese and it came out the way I wanted it. The service was good and the staff was friendly. I really love the multiple seating areas. You are sit outdoors on various patios or indoors. I enjoyed sitting outside, under an umbrella while still appreciating the sunny and beautiful day. I had a cappuccino for my drink and it was delicious.

Lisette D.

Yelp
This coffee shop is right by the beach. We stopped by for breakfast and ordered the brekkie sandwich, waffle and berries, and iced cliffside latte. The coffee was great! Our brekkie sandwich was very watery from the ham in there and the presentation of the sandwich looked very sad. I preferred the waffle over the sandwich. Overall an okay place to stop by for coffee and a small bite. Parking can be a hassle to find on busy days.

Lorraine P.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I'm definitely coming back! The place had really great ambiance and was a lot more spacious than I anticipated. There's a wide selection of food and drinks so you'll have plenty of options to pick from. I saw many people doing work, coming with friends/family for brunch, and even surfers coming in for a quick bite. The space is quite versatile which I think makes it such a unique spot. Its not the most quiet place though so keep that in mind if you're coming to study or work and you're sensitive to distractions. There are outlets near the tables that are up against the windows, which makes it a perfect study/work spot. I'm not sure if there are outlets anywhere else though. There are a bunch of seating for groups as well (both inside and outside). The place got really busy around 9:30-10am (on a Wednesday) so I recommend coming earlier, especially if you have more people with you or if its the weekend.

Tiara B.

Yelp
Soul Grind Coffee Roasters is a must when you visit Pacifica! Went for the first time this weekend and definitely will be back! I ordered an iced cliffside latte with extra vanilla and caramel. I also had a chipotle chicken sandwich with the side salad. Everything was good! As a heads up, there will be a short line and will have to wait a little bit before making it to the counter. There's only one bathroom and there was a short line for that too.

Sandhya G.

Yelp
They have such a perfect location, that I ended up working from their cafe an entire afternoon and ended up spending time on the beach right after. This is going to be my new favorite remote work place! This place has a very cool rustic vibe with plenty of room for anyone wanting to work and coupled with some great food, coffee and some very interesting tunes to sing along! I never knew that they turn into a bar in the evening/afternoon, as they serve wine and beer after the usual coffee hours come to a close. The people are also very friendly as they answered my questions about the wifi etc without any issues.

Julia S.

Yelp
We came here before going to the beach for an event. It was probably super crowded today because of the event, since we waited probably 30 minutes in line to order and another 20-30 minutes to get our food and latte. * Hazelnut chocolate croissant: 4/5. It didn't really taste any hazelnut, but it was pretty good as a chocolate croissant. There was a good amount of chocolate chips on top and filling. * Dirty chai: 3.5/5. It was very heavy on the spice, particularly ginger. I couldn't really taste the espresso over the spice, so it could've been better balanced. * Irish breakfast: 4/5. It was a basic breakfast plate, nothing much to complain or be excited about. I think the bread was a little too crusty to pair with jam, but the potatoes were the best part. There was a decent amount of seating, including an outdoor area where you can eat with your dog. However, it was kind of annoying with all of the wasps flying around. The staff was really nice, and helped us get an extra plate and utensils when we asked. Overall, it's a decent place, but I'd probably come here for other items instead.

Samantha C.

Yelp
The cafe was so packed we thought it had to be really good for people to be lining up 20-30 minutes! We ordered a cappuccino and the Bali bowl. Both came out in around 15-20 minutes. The cappuccino was milkier than I would have liked. The Bali bowl looked epic and so beautiful but tasted like nothing? Appearance wise everything looked good but taste wise I was a bit disappointed.

Alissa H.

Yelp
Loveeee this coffee/brunch spot! There's almost always a line every time I come but I love that there's so many spots to sit! I loveee their sandwich options and have gotten different ones each time I've visited and they're all so tasty! This time I got the chipotle chicken and I highly recommend. Also get their iced Cubano it's so delicious! I will come back every time I'm in Pacifica!

Allie G.

Yelp
So cute for lunch! We visited Soul Grind Coffee Roasters around 2PM on a Saturday, and found it incredibly busy. There was a line out the door, but that gave us plenty of time to browse the menu on our phones. The interior was cozy, with a chill, beachy ambiance. There was seating inside, but they also had an entire back patio with couches, a wall mural, and surf-themed decor. I ordered the Chicken Club and Pesto with no bacon, an Iced Matcha Latte, and a Lemon Meringue Tart. Their baked goods selection was massive, and everything looked incredible. I was given a number to take back to our table, and we snagged some patio seating. My Iced Matcha Latte was really good - not sweetened, right amount of flavor. We also liked the bottled beverages, including the Peach Iced Tea, Lemonade, and Passionfruit Pineapple CBD drink. We didn't wait too long for the food to come out either. My sandwich was massive, but I was starving so I managed to finish most of it. I loved the generous amount of chicken and the crunchy bread. The Lemon Meringue Tart was also fantastic, and so were all the other pastries we tried including the Blueberry Crumble, Butter Brownie, Banana Bread, and Apple Tart. The ambiance on the patio was so pleasant and the entire meal really hit the spot after our hike. Would happily return to try more!

Jennifer V.

Yelp
We stopped here to grab a quick bite on our way to the city. When we arrived, the line was out the door. I was hesitant but we needed food despite the time crunch. Food was worth. the. wait. So good, we'd wait again! Despite the crowd we got cute little couch-like seating in front of the fireplace. Which was the perfect addition for this chilly rainy day! Yes, we waited on line in the rain - still worth it! We ordered a side of bacon - I'm hyper critical of bacon in the state of California and this might even top all of NY. Also, the Breakfast bagel that was giving NY vibes as well, the burrata quiche that I couldn't recommend more. They came with salad and fruit salad. Drinks were a Vietnamese coffee, an oatmilk cappuccino, and a mini chocolate milk. We also got a vegan and gluten free brownie and snickerdoodle cookie. Yes, you read that right - they have several gluten free options. So, whether you're a local or visiting Pacifica, this place is a MUST!

Michele W.

Yelp
Good coffee and tea. This is the world's happiest mug. Delicious fluffy quiche with a side salad. Perfect NY style crumb cake like I used to get at B&H Bakery in Hackensack NJ. Seating not at all crowded and good Wi-Fi. So why only three stars? Because it was COLD. Outside high 50s and not much higher inside because the two big front doors were wide open. I'm usually warm, but wanted to do a little work and had to leave because I was freezing. Several around me were also uncomfortable, but none of us wanted to be the Karen who asked to close the doors. I can't think of any reason they would keep the doors open other than to prevent people from staying too long. It's too bad, because I really like this place and the longer I stay, the more I buy.

Cerina M.

Yelp
Ambiance is wonderful, cute place, great coffee. Service was under par, waited 1 hours for a hamelette and a locals only. To only recieve the locals only completely cold and waffles rock hard. And over easy eggs almost cooked through because of the heat lamp it was under. Asked the server where our food was very politely told her what we ordered and said we are still waiting on it. Order our food at 11:45 did not get it until 12:45. Be mindful coming on a busy weekend you won't get great service and won't get warm food.

Helen T.

Yelp
Soul Grind is at the end of a strip mall with quick access to San Pedro beach. The parking lot was crowded with surfers and beach goers so we had to park at the other end. Not a huge problem but be aware. It was a beautiful sunny Saturday so that could be why ... There was a line to the counter where you order. Almost every menu item is on display (on the right side) which makes it hard to decide. On the left side are the sweets. Everything looked so good We ordered the Green Brekkie, Avo egg Toast, Dutch apple tart (devoured before the picture) matcha oatmilk latte, & iced pour over coffee. The food was good but the standout was the bread and coffee! Lots of tables outside and a some inside. There's a bench in front of a fireplace. +1 star to staff for the honest warning for the blue matcha latte (so convincing that I played it safe and skipped it!)

Jennifer C.

Yelp
My first time hanging out at this cafe and I had a nice time. I ordered the soup of the day, which was broccoli and cheddar plus gluten free bread and a soy matcha latte. My meal was good and I enjoyed it. The dining area was nice and it is a very open space and lots of open doors/ patio doors. The customer service was good.

Nicole H.

Yelp
Some of the staff were not friendly but the pumpkin spice latte and quiche I ordered were good. Lots of tables to study at or have small meetings and they have a lot of outdoor pet friendly spaces. They also have a fireplace to read by.

Stefanie M.

Yelp
I've been in Pacifica for years and finally tried this place... now kicking myself for waiting so long! The location is very close to the beach with a beautifully open concept and lots of fresh ocean air flowing through. Great light and plenty of seating inside and out. Lines can be long so plan ahead but lots to look at as you wait. You can also scan a QR code to the left of the front door to view the current menu (it's not posted inside, but there are visuals which are SO cool - see pic). What first drew me here was the NOLA - an iced chicory coffee that takes me back to the Big Easy instantly. And the Brekkie - a delectable breakfast sandwich that opts for an over medium egg vs. the usual scrambled, nice quality ham, a super flaky croissant (seriously, do NOT eat this in your car!). The side of fruit is nice too, with a host of variety. It's now become a weekly stop for me for sure.

Evelyn M.

Yelp
A Saturday late afternoon, coming from a park party...my party wanted to check out this coffee spot near the pacific. Gloomy weather but good vibes. Place was full but no line when we arrived. We each had different types of coffee. I had an affogato and the other two were an iced n hot coffee. (not pictured) At the counter there was a display of food. I don't know if it was real but I liked the different concept than the words and pictures on a menu board. I didn't really like my drink, it was only ok. I've had several other affogato at different coffee shops and they all tasted so good and sweet. This location was a bit bitter. The ice cream as well and didn't help give the coffee flavor. I drank half and when we got home my brother added to it and made it into slushy form. I'll definitely suggest this spot to my friend that lives in the area if they haven't gone yet. Nice chill spot to enjoy company even though we took ours to go. Close to other locations to eat and shop. Parking looked busy but parking wasn't hard to find.

Yelp
You'll find a diverse selection of food, including pastries and breakfast items, and freshly ground coffee. The location is perfect, near the beach, with lovely mountain views. However, the service is middling.

Yelp
I am drawn to coffee roasteries because they create their own value to the coffee process. Upon arriving on a Saturday morning, we see many surfers in the parking lot, happy vibes all around. Likewise, this coffee shop is a chill place with wooden tables, fun music, open layout with a beautiful red roasting machine. Instead of pictures of food, they have physical samples of dishes at the counter to help ordering decisions easier.  Love this. I ordered a pour over with medium roast Colombia beans.  Trying to learn to enjoy real coffee, without the covering of sweets and other flavors.   For food, I ordered a Bali Bowl.  So healthy, maybe too healthy, I felt it was missing something, maybe cheese.

Yelp
Great coffee, service and ambiance with great music playing. Perfect location on beach for surfers and dog enthusiasts with outdoor patio areas. Plenty of good food selection too. I had a seven layer bar that was out of this world delicious!

Yelp
My cousin go-to brunch place. So glad she took us here. We went on a Monday late morning, not quite lunch and it was bustling! My cousins said sometimes it's a 2 hour wait on the weekends. After eating here I can see why! There is outdoor seating if it gets crowded. We had the lox and bagel and the empanada. There was a generous helping of salmon. FYI, my cousin has her bagel extra toasted and it was really good that way. It was accompanied by fresh fruit. The empanada was smallish and the crust could've been a bit lighter and it came with a salad with delicious balsamic dressing. We also got the ovalini mozzarella & tomato on baguette which came with salad. Very delicious! Nice coffee menu as well as tea. They roast and grind the coffee which is nice and smooth. The staff here is great - friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend coming here for brunch but they are open til 7pm.

Yelp
Came to Soul Grind finally for a brunch date with my hubby. I absolutely love that they have a visual menu when you walk up to the counter. Makes ordering so much easier! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered and went and found a seat in their large seating area, they have outside and inside seating. It was on the pricier side but what isn't now a-days. We paid about $80 for breakfast with the tip. When we got our food it look absolutely delicious! Unfortunately one of my plates had a hair in it but they made it right and everything was delicious.. I would love to come back to try something else and maybe even try a coffee this time around. We got hot chocolate and fresh squeezed orange juice. Photos of what we got below.

Yelp
This place makes my soul so happy. I'm a loyal customer of Caffe Central in Burlingame so I was ecstatic to come to their other location. I can't think of a better place to have brunch with the most gorgeous views. From the food presentation to the vibes of the cafe, it just doesn't miss! The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 star review was due to the service that was received when we came in today, 3/12/24, around 11:30 am. The woman who took our order did not create a welcoming atmosphere and failed to provide any type of customer service. Though that was the case today, Soul Grind is still easily one of the best places I've been to around the Bay!

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous! Ignore the reviews that complain about the wait time. If you go to an establishment that is packed and busy then of course there's going to be a wait time for items you order! Anyway, when we went it was very busy but we took that into consideration when waiting for our coffees. The service was very friendly and the drinks were very well balanced and delicious! We got pumpkin lattes and a zucchini bread which was absolutely amazing! If you're in a rush perhaps this isn't the place for you but if you have time to wait before you go hit the beach right next door then I say go! Seating can be hard to find but personally believe it's worth the wait. Hopefully next time we can try their other food options!

Yelp
Bali bowl seems so healthy. Quinoa, avocado, 2 eggs, saute mushrooms. The Irish breakfast has tasty bacon, sausage, 2 eggs, artisan bread. Dirty chai. They actually filled the grind coffee fresh and sold in packages. The lemon meringue was too sweet. The pastry selection seems to have such a variety. Seating inside or outside. You can order online. Stood in line for 15 min to order and get a number. Wait at the table where they bring the food to you.

Yelp
I've been reflecting on the fact that the fact that we're here is no ordinary phenomenon. The fact that you woke up today. The fact that you are where you are during this year in history...it's all very amazing...a miracle. The fact that you're able to read this or walk over to that cafe perhaps...are all not guaranteed. Too many facts...could have been unrealities. Things came full circle when we revisited Soul Grind four years later from our last visit. No joke, but every time we passed by, there was a line. Considering its ideal location (walking distance to Pacifica Beach) and the fact that Soul Grind roasts their own beans make standing in line worthwhile for me. I got the Colombia Pour Over, and my fam member got the Iced Cliffside. The Pour Over was really light without being watered down. I found it quite unique and definitely had those more neutral notes of date and fig. The Cliffside was a sweeter drink that reminded me of a creamy milk tea. Service was okay. I liked how they had cozy indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio.

Yelp
It's the coffee for me out here. The food? Not so much. This has become one of our go to coffee shops for the weekends. **Go to order: -Cubano latte -Iced Cubano latte The Cubano served Iced or Hot is good both ways and perfectly sweet. I love the coffee cup designs when you order hot coffee. Staff are always so kind. I appreciate how loud the staff are when they call your name for your order. Seeing the coffee bar be open and visible shows all the staff working hard together like a well operated machine. They get BUSY with the orders. The ambiance gives West coast beach/Surfer lounge vibes. A mixture of nets, hanging merch, plants, wooden tables, ocean and beach right behind the restaurant, sand on the floor outside, and lastly, the visibility of the operating coffee bean roaster machine is really cool. Seeing all the buckets of coffee beans and the huge machine mixing coffee beans just makes it all feel more legit. The food? I was shocked. It wasn't for me or my mom. I finally got to try some of their food for the first time after seeing how many yummy displays of food they have. What we tried: -Vienna Egg Salad Toast 7/10 rating (Toast was awfully way too tough and toasted. I was not a fan of the berries with the diced pickles and eggs) -Salmon Toast 7-8/10 rating (My mom actually liked it and it wasn't fishy. The problem, was the toast) -Goddess salad 6/10 rating (Not a fan of the very sweet mush sweet potatoes in the salad) -Lemon Poppy Seed loaf (GF) 7/10 rating (Very moist, perfectly sweet) All the food was SO expensive. Between my mom and I and sharing 3 dishes... she paid $75. What??? Parking is always a breeze which is shocking considering a lot of Surfers park here. I've come to a decision that this spot will only be a spot to grab coffee.

Yelp
I love it here. I've been to Soul Grind twice but wish I was closer so I could go more. The location, the vibes, the food, the coffee - Soul Grind just can't be beat. My first visit to Soul Grind was a late Monday morning in summer and it was so chill. Not too crowded, a super nice day, a perfect slow morning. My friend and I ordered our drinks and food, found a table inside, and enjoyed our meal. The second visit was on New Year's Day and while it was also a Monday (this time around lunch), it was so crowded. The line didn't stop, it only got longer as time went on. The cafe was packed but we were able to easily find a table on their patio. And even though it was super crowded and busy, I still loved it all the same. First off, they've got QR codes at the door so you can browse the menu if you're waiting in a long line. There's tons to choose from and so much looks good. And speaking of looking good, I love that they have a display of their menu items right at the register. Like yes, I will still look at Yelp for photos of the food but that was super helpful too! Second, they've got so many places to sit. Cozy up at the couch in front of the indoor fireplace. Take a seat at a table near an outlet to get work done. Enjoy the sunshine at their back patio or chill out on the side patio. OR just take your food to go at the beach just steps away. It's no wonder that they always had a table available even when the line was long and restaurant was packed. And last but definitely not least, the food and drinks are top notch. Filling while not too heavy making me feel like I was eating pretty healthy overall. The brekkie sandwich is a delicious quick and straightforward option for breakfast. Ham, eggs, croissant - you can't go wrong. As for lunch, their chicken empanada was a flavorful quick snack (though kinda expensive at $7 for 1 pc). The chipotle chicken sandwich was good too. Filled with so much I eventually had to bring out the fork and knife to eat it in a little less messy fashion. I've only had their cubano latte (solid balance of sweet + coffee) but am excited to try other items on the menu. Already dreaming of when I can go back to grab a cup of coffee and walk along the beach.

Yelp
Came here during labor day weekend for an afternoon treat. Parking can be limited as it's part of a complex with lots of busy shops. There were only 2 people in front of us but we still ended up waiting about 15 minutes before they took our order as it seemed like they were having issues with the cash register. We went with a Blue Matcha with oat milk (butterfly pea latte). After ordering we ended up waiting another 25 minutes as it seems there was a back log and a flurry of online orders. The drink itself was good but I will mention our cup wasn't filled (which I would expect given the prices). The color of the drink was vibrant and very unique. Overall, I'm assuming this was an off day given the busyness of labor day and would come back during non peak hours to try other drinks.

Yelp
Great coffee place with delicious food and treats! I got the chicken pesto sandwich which I quite enjoyed - tasted fresh and healthy. My friend got the blue matcha coffee which she wasn't a fan of. Service was slow, but we didn't care. Cute outdoor seating areas!

Yelp
This place is right off the shore which is so beautiful. They have plenty of seating inside and out. The parking is a little tough as there is a lot of other stores in the same plaza and also the ocean . I didn't think this place was going to have any good selections for brunch, but the sandwich I had hit the spot. It was nicely toasted with the perfect amount to just fill me up. Minus the fact they charge me $1 for the 5 chips lol. But that's okay. The service was fine, despite the fact they were super busy.
