Went Sunday 1-19-25 with my Best Friend & her husband & brother for the conclusion of her birthday weekend. The restaurant is cute, nice atmosphere. Placed orders and paid for our food, when trying to order drinks, they said someone from the staff will come take drink orders at the table. Ok fine. Young lady walks up who acted as if she really didn't want to be at work, took one drink order out of the four of us and then said "I'll be back" but never came back. Main entrees and appetizers came out backwards (meaning entrees came 1st) for everyone at the table....ok fine. Afterwards we finally get to place our drink orders. I ordered the Salmon bites, lamb chops with Mac & cheese and greens and the Mimosa flight. My friend ordered the stuff chicken breast with sweet potatoes, red bean and rice and soul roles, also the Mimosa flight. Husband ordered the soul roles, lamb chops, greens and mac & cheese and corn bread. OK....salmon bites were terrible, very fishy tasting, lamb chops were good just very small. Greens.... very basic, bland, giving glory greens. Mac and cheese was ok but definitely didn't look like the Mac & cheese in the videos and photos. My friend stuffed chicken breast was so over cooked she couldn't eat it, yet the cheese stuffed filling was undercooked. Her husband's corn bread NEVER made it to the table, after him asking multiple times. They kept saying it was being made and would be 15 minutes. He asked for a refund for the cornbread and miraculously,,, the cornbread was then ready. Finally,,,, HOW DO U MESS UP A MIMOSA??? I don't know but they did. They were terrible! I actually had to send mine back and ask them to re-make them and they still were bad. So bad I left a full glass & a half..... $25.00+ tax for nothing! 10 out of 10 would not recommend & I will NOT patronize this business again

First time dinning here. The two ends can be overwhelming with choices, which is a great thing!!! There is something for all!! I am not Vegan, but I ordered the vegan hot links, mac-n-cheese, and sweet potatoes. ❤️‍🔥🔥🥰. All great. The sauce on the links gets 5 stars by itself. Sweet potatoes could have use a little more nutmeg. Mac was creamy and delicious. It's is a tight fit if the restaurant is crowded. Plan accordingly if you have a large party. Not many servers, so I had to go to the counter for things I needed. Definitely a place to try!

Google
Soul Vibez was definitely a vibe! We had the Salmon Philly and Stuffed Salmon with Mac & Cheese and Greens (pictured here). We also had the Soul Rolls (filled with soul food), and they were so good. They had a vegan menu and a different menu that contained items with meat. Everything looked good and tasted better. Service was totally on point. I will definitely be back and fully recommend this restaurant. My old man has already started planning regular trips back to Soul Vibez to try more menu items even though we are rarely in Orland.

Google
I was so glad to see so many amazing vegan options here! I got the Italian Beef and my husband got the Birria Tacos. Our favorite part, though, was the Philly Cheesesteak rolls! Everyone was super nice and we had fast service. Can't wait to come back!

Google
What a great find! To celebrate my husband's birthday, we were in the Orland Park area to get something to eat. We came upon this gem and what a beautiful and delicious surprise! The decor is lovely and modern with a soulish vibe. The service was a little different. You order your food then have a sit, they text you when it's ready. And you pick it up at the order counter. I like the concept. The food was amazing! We ordered these entrees: chicken and waffles and catfish with greens and sweet potatoes. I ordered a side of the wings and a strawberry hulk? Smoothie for him. Omg! Everything was cooked to perfection! So so good and seasoned wonderfully! We will return!

Google
Omg this was me and my moms 1st time eating here and I must say they exceeded my expectation. EVERYTHING was ridiculous delicious. We had the fried green tomatoes, fried catfish, greens, sweet potatoes and grits. Soooo good. Robin was so sweet and helpful with ty he menu and the different entrees. Staff were all friendly. Will definitely be back to try the Vegan menu.

Google
Phenomenal food! I am a regular and love both locations. The food is always fresh and delicious. Today I had the Caesar salad with salmon. I also had the soul rolls and fried green tomatoes (no pictured due to me eating them so fast!). I will be back! Thank you!

Good atmosphere pleasant and professional team staff. Well ran family restaurant. Food very tasty. Enjoyed dining in. I do recommend. And it was an extreme delight to speak with Team Moms they are truly a delight. Look forward to visiting Soul Vibez again.

Yelp
Stopped in because I was looking for a black owned business and was pleasantly pleased that I did. The first thing I noted was how I was greeted ... I was asked if I wanted vegan or soul food ... I choose soul food and had the stuffed chicken while my friend had the catfish. The chicken and moist and tender with a really good cream type of filling. The catfish was fried perfectly and wasn't over breaded. The sides, greens and garlic mash were just so so. There was a frozen adult drink that I wish I could remember the name, it was soo good ... If you're in Orlands Mall and looking for a bite to eat, I would strongly suggest this place.

Yelp
Was looking for a good restaurant in the South Suburbs before returning home to the city. Soul Vibez was one option on the way, so I stopped in. Warm welcome, and the cashier was really cool with recommending the stuffed salmon. The sweet potatoes hit the spot. And the greens weren't bad at all. Food is packaged for takeaway whether you're dining in or getting out to go. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Had a lounge feel, and the music is good listening. With this being my first time, I played it safe. There are some other menu items that caught my eye, but I didn't want to be stuffed while on the road heading back to downtown Chicago. I will return.

Yelp
The food is delicious!!! Best tasting FRESH fried catfish I had in a long time. The Mac and cheese was excellent, the collard greens tasted like they came from a can and they were not seasoned. The jerk chicken was flavorful and well seasoned expertly. I was not a fan of the red beans and rice they were bland. We had some soul rolls which had collard greens, candy, yams, and mac & cheese. Inside of them. Those were absolutely amazing. I dined in and the service was disappointing, and they put your food in plastic containers, even if you're dining in. I am not a fan of eating out of plastic containers when I am dining at a restaurant. The inside had a beautiful vibe to it and the music was soulful 90s R&B. I would return for their delicious food, but only place a pick up order not interested at all in dining at a restaurant with serves you food out of plastic containers.

Shay L.

Yelp
If u like vegan food, this is your go to spot i tried the vegan Italian beef for the first time and it was amazing. Also had a lemon drop when I tell you she made it just right the food was average and cost. I didn't so much like the greens they was a little too dry for me. My cuz had fish I tried it they need to add more seasoning the soul food egg rolls I must so was delicious my girl had the lam chops she said it was ok . Will be going back to try other foods in Also if the owner or manger see this it's cold out pls put the heat on thank u .

Yelp
SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! Soul Vibez was an unforgettable dining experienced my family and I loved. Soul Vibez atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The staff was well Mannered & nice. They were quick with placing orders and receiving. Total time was 30mins. The place was spectacular clean, pretty props, spacing, and gorgeous back drops for memorable times. The menu was a soul food type of vibe. Comfort food for the soul as my grandmother would say. We ordered salmon bites, chicken Alfredo with a hint of jerk sauce, soul rolls, cornbread, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with the lamb chops! We definitely had a feast. Everything was delicious, flavorful, tenderness and just DAYUMM tasty! Located in Orland park. You can order online or pickup. Everything is boxed to order BUT can asked to be plated for a more dinning experience to the liking.

Yelp
My cousin who I found on Ancestry was visiting town this week. He invited me to a MARVELOUS Black Owned business where the food in AMAZING. We went to Soul Vibez in Orland Park. I implore you to make the trip, be there when they open and enjoy the magnificent food. I usually do not like being served in to go containers when I sit down at a restaurant but the food here was so good I just did not care. I had heard from other video bloggers that the Stuff Chicken was the business with a side of Mac-n-Cheese and Greens. I am here to tell you it was so good I called my mother to tell her I would bring her here first chance. I sent her the website and she zeroed in on the Lamb Chops and said she would be ready.   My cousin and I ate well this day. That man had the Catfish with Red Beans & Rice with Cornbread. He just lost a lot of weight so he gave me half the corn bread. FUCKING DELISCIOUS! He also ordered Salmon Bites. Look I really do not know how many more adjectives I can use to describe the flavors of this place. Superb, fantastic, exciting, fresh, bold, flavorful. I think you get the picture. This place is a hit. I hope they never change a thing like most places that get popular and start raising prices while lowering quality. That will get you put out of business quick...and rightfully so!   For now, I am telling you to seek out a location. The owner has 3 but I like Orland Park because it far away from crowds, there is parking and you can get in, ENJOY GREAT FOOD and get out. I will be returning. The prices are fair, not LOW but not high at this time. You get what you pay for in this place. She has Vegan options available as well. EVERYONE can eat and be happy. If you are on a diet, this ain't the place for you.   Follow me so you can see when I post.

Alzetta H.

Yelp
My $26 lunch was delicious!!! This place isn't new but my first time there. I chose the stuffed salmon, mac and cheese and greens. Typical choices, but delicious. The Mac and cheese and greens may be the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The only complaint I have is the grease my salmon sat in... last pic is the grease I soaked up before eating. Service was delightful and efficient. Can't wait to return to try other dishes. They also have an extensive vegan menu. -- at Soul Vibez.

Britt S.

Yelp
Vegan mac&cheese was yummy as was the lamb chops and greens. Lamb was well marinated....Will definitely be back

Ayana H.

Yelp
The salmon bites with the spicy honey sauce were simply amazing! It took a looong time to get my order, about 40 minutes. I originally ordered the salmon egg rolls, but the lady forgot to tell me that there was cheese on them. In my opinion, the egg rolls would be great without the cheese. The cheese was thick and icky! Love the pictures and flowers on the walls.

Dnyl P.

Yelp
This place is amazing and the food is good. They offer soul food and vegan options . It's busy on the weekends but it's definitely worth it to go in if you can find a seat in there to eat there delicious soul food. It's right across Orland mall so after shopping you can go grab some good food

Chaniqua C.

Yelp
I have never sat down to eat here, but the atmosphere has been great on each visit. I've only had the stuffed salmon with various sides. Everything has always been delicious. I will try something different one day, but the stuffed salmon has me in a chokehold.

Kaniesha W.

Yelp
I visited here last week and came about 45 minutes after they opened. It took a long time to be seated. Once seated, it took us flagging down the host about 20 minutes later, to finally get an order placed. They were very understaffed. Our server was taking care of the 20 outside on the patio and our table inside. He was very kind when he served us, although he was spread thin. The food and drinks were good.

Jasmine S.

Yelp
The police walked on for a call right before I did to sit down and I understand why. The hostess, server and bartender are rude AF. The food is great. The server/bartender purposely waited until happy hour was over to come get our second drink order (over 40 minutes after we were seated) then proceeded to argue with us that she verbatim "purposely came over at 6 so no she wouldn't comp the additional drinks ordered AT 6 to happy hour price." I will probably not go back as gratuity is automatically included in your bill which makes the servers feel they don't have to render good service as they are getting tipped anyway. It took so long to get service and the restaurant was almost empty, they just didn't want to honor happy hour pricing.

Maddie N.

Yelp
Food- actually tasted like booty, unseasoned, served cold, tiny portions for the price. Service- ass, the waiter accused me of cutting in line when I was 5 ft back from the line looking at the menu. Waited 40 minutes to be served cold chicken. Ambiance- it's a cute place, but for the price, there's much cuter out there. If you want to be seated and for someone to come take your order and bring it to you and be respectful, don't go here. AVOID WASTE OF $100 and I wish I could get a refund.

Joslyn N.

Yelp
The decor and feel of this place is really nice. There are booths along one side and a bar along the other. We we're promptly seated at a booth that accommodated the three of us. The hostess provided us with information about the menu including which items were denoted as vegan. When our waitress came she brought us water but there was no silverware. We ordered appetizers including the soul rolls and salmon bites. They brought them out without any plates or silverware. When the runner brought the silverware, he brought out two plates instead of 3, which we thought was bizarre. The soul rolls were really tasty and are filled with mac and cheese and greens and they give you sweet potato sauce to drizzle over it. One friend order the lamb chops, and we felt like the lamb chops serving side left much to be desired for the cost. Another friend ordered the fried catfish and her portions were sizable. I ordered the salmon that was stuffed with cheese and spinach. The stuffed salmon was good, my sides were good (red beans and rice and mashed potatoes). Unfortunately while we were there our waitress did not come back to our table unless we needed refills on water and which we had to call her over. She spent most of her time behind the bar taking pictures of drinks and doing other things besides tending to the customers. I should also mention that there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. She was nice enough and then it seemed like towards the end she tried to redeem herself but we definitely felt neglected. At some point the owner came over and asked us was everything okay. Then when the waitress brought our check we did not see our itemized check and when I asked about this she said that it would show us when we paid on the machine and it didn't. I was only able to see it once I requested a mobile receipt after already swiping my card. One thing that they did not tell us at this restaurant is that they charge a 20% gratuity and since we could not see the itemized receipt beforehand we did not know this. This may be standard for Chicago restaurants but still they should have signed somewhere and the waitress should state it as well. All in all, I will definitely go back for the soul rolls and some of those sides.

Kendra L.

Yelp
I feel like my expectations were too high for this place and my ratings would've probably been higher if I heard nothing about it beforehand. But... the place is small and packed.. not a problem though. We found a place to sit and got in line. Our full party wasn't there yet so I just ordered appetizers. They said it will take 35-40 minutes... just for the appetizers! And it did!! Service was good!! No attitude and everyone smiling. Catfish and grits.. bussin!! Salmon bites... bussin!! Fried tomatoes pretty good. Them soul rolls wasn't good to me at all. One thing I didn't like was one of the workers walked right through the dining area going to the back with some of that country time lemonade powder. Pissed me off because I'm paying $10 for a small lemonade drink and this what y'all using?? At least use fresh ingredients when you have people paying top dollar for something! Anyway once we got the food I had no time to take pictures because I was hungry x2

Tamara J.

Yelp
We went to Soul Vibez on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded and there wasn't a line. It was confusing since there are two restaurants that are side by side when you reach the counter and two different menus. We went with the soul food vs. the vegan restaurant option. There are some unique items on the menu, like soul food egg rolls, salmon egg rolls and crispy salmon bites. We ordered the soul food egg rolls, honey fried chicken and waffles, crispy salmon bites, stuffed salmon, macaroni and cheese, greens, red beans and rice, chocolate chip cookies and strawberry lemonade. The soul food egg rolls were excellent! They were the best part of the meal although they are only an appetizer. I didn't care for the grease that the salmon was fried in...tasted like old grease. The stuffing in the salmon was way too rich. Literally, I needed to add greens to the portion on my fork to offset the richness. The waffles were good, the wings tasted like they were fried in the same oil as the salmon bites, but they were ok, especially with the honey sauce provided. The greens were too salty. The macaroni and cheese was too runny and not baked as most soul food restaurants do. The red beans and rice were good. The chocolate chip cookies were vegan and had a different texture, but tasted pretty good. The strawberry lemonade was very tasty, but a bit too sweet for me. We were dining in, but all orders are created to-go and in containers. Would be nice if they at least gave paper plates for those that are dining for guests to put their food on for it to feel more like a dine-in experience. The restaurant itself is nice and they have two all gender restrooms. Unfortunately, there was no soap in one of the restrooms, which presents sanitary concerns. Overall though, the restaurant was clean. There is also outdoor seating, which is a good option during warmer months. It's important to note that this food is expensive. We had three separate orders that totaled to well over $100. Portion sizes are small for the prices and dining experience. The customer service was great and we received our food within about 15 minutes. I would return to support this business - but I'd only purchase the soul food egg rolls with a strawberry lemonade.

Jazzy S.

Yelp
Something just ain't right with this picture...High end prices for mediocrity!!! The service was friendly but not fast!! The food was not worth the price point paid...I ordered the Salmon bites, fried green tomatoes, and a beverage...$40. Four slices of tomatoes that I could have readily cooked at home...nothing special there...Your food is not plated; it's served in take out containers. There isn't a knife in the plastic cutlery...Am I not supposed to cut my food??? Soul Vibez offers the bare minimum when it comes to ambiance, decor, and esthetics!!! I just don't get it; paying high end prices for food, then eating out of containers with plastic utensils...I'm not at a picnic nor a BBQ shack!!! Sigh!!! Argh!!!

Wynetta S.

Yelp
The food was average nothing to complain about, other than the long wait. The food is reasonably priced.

Courtney M.

Yelp
During my first visit to this restaurant I was a little confused by the two business names on the signage. When I entered we were not greeted by a host because this is a walk in and order at the register restaurant. The menu offered 2 meats and 2 seafood options with multiple vegetables as menu items. I tried the fried chicken wings with collard greens and vegan garlic mashed potatoes. I was informed that my order would take 30-35 minutes. I observed that all food was placed in bags and served in to-go containers. My order was ready after 45 minutes which was a bit disappointing considering it was already a long wait. All items were tasty and fresh. I wish there were a location in Chicago to visit again. I suggest that everyone pre-order their food to avoid long waits.

Jamilyah R.

Yelp
The vibe was great nice music selectio, but the seating is terrible very small inside . I ordered lamb chops with sweet potaround and Mack catfish dinner it was full of bones couldn't eat it I didn't like the lamb chops too gamey I would over all say the place is overhyped by social media wasn't worth the 100 dollars

Sherita F.

Yelp
Tried this place (Soul Vibez In Orland) for the first time on Sunday and honestly I don't have to return Ever, I ordered the fried chicken wings (which came only 3 to an order, clearly not enough, should offer white or dark meat options) with greens (unseasoned, unflavored) and Mac n cheese ( bland) No sodas offered only 5$ Punch (again nothing to rave about) and water(which is self-serve) Clearly don't see why the line was out The door,But everybody has different taste, I feel like I know good food and I for sure know I've had better soul food than this....this place ISN'T IT, Please Do Better

Kenneth C.

Yelp
Food was amazing!!! 10/10 nice cozy vibe as far as ambiance. Date night or dinner with friends you can't go wrong! I had the stuffed chicken, greens, Mac, and jerk chicken pasta! They don't miss!!! Everything was

Debraleigh M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing.. My only complaint is how I couldn't stop eating until it was gone!! 10/10 home cooked perfection. Yes.. yes.. and yes on everything that touched my lips. Staff was super friendly and killed my big order with no mistakes. I will be back..

Hugh J.

Yelp
Amazing food. Every bite of my meal was satisfying. The environment was uplifting. The staff did their jobs with the customers. I highly recommend that you eat here.

Daniel J.

Yelp
Wanted to love this place seeing as it is black owned and I've seen several food vloggers raving about it but I'm convinced now that most of these food vloggers say anything just to get free food. For a brief summary I took my family here for my daughter's birthday. We get there to my surprise it is a weird type of fast food setup going on where somebody had to hold us a table while I waited in line to put our food order in. Now had this been a cafeteria style soul food restaurant like Morrisons or Mcarthurs this would not have been a problem but we ended up waiting close to an hour for our food in this place. The price of the food is ridiculous in comparison to the level of service, wait time and actual quality of the food (I'll get to that later). So after ordering the food we sit down and me and my wife order two cocktails that came out to close to $50. Again a weird set up seeing as they don't have food servers but a couple of lady's walking around taking drink orders. The cocktails took about twenty minutes to come and I'm no alcoholic or anything but I literally tasted zero alcohol in any of our drinks. So we finally get our food which consisted of two orders of there stuffed chicken, one order of the fried catfish, the salmon egg rolls, the soul food egg rolls, Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes for the sides for all three entrees and two orders of cornbread. First problem with the food was it came packaged in plastic to go containers with plastic utensils. Absolutely absurd for the $130 price tag for this food. All the food came out at once, well except for my sides of Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes which they forgot to put in the bag after the close to one hour wait. The eggrolls were mediocre probably due to the exterior being soggy and not crispy from sweating in steam due to being enclosed in a plastic to go container. My catfish was the same, breading was kinda soggy, flavor was just ok but for $26 they only gave me one catfish filet. The Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes were ok but definitely nothing to write home about. The stuffed chicken was like a 6/10, It kind of had a weird texture to it. Needless to say me and my family are not picky eaters but everybody went home with leftovers and not because the portions were just so huge. My family usually has to beg me not to eat there leftovers but in this case they voluntarily said I can have their leftovers which yes I ate because I spent all that damn money. Overall I do wish this business nothing but success in the future. The owner was on site and she seemed pretty nice, however this place has a lot of areas that need improvement. Until then I definitely will not be returning.

Shadale B.

Yelp
The food was good. My fiancé really enjoyed the soul rolls and lamb chops. The seasoning on the fried catfish was amazing.

Gypsy G.

Yelp
Food was not very good. I really wanted to like this place though. I wish I could say more but I took a few bites and threw out the food.

Francine M.

Yelp
Will I travel to eat here again? absolutely! Will I tell everyone that will listen to try this place? Absolutely! I will tell them the food is amazing and the service that is offered is also good. However it will come with a disclaimer of high prices, eating your food with plastic cutlery & out of to-go containers, and drinking your juice out of plastic jugs. There isn't a drink station outside of the refrigerated juices and some ice water in pitchers. It's an adorable restaurant with a cute atmosphere, we grabbed up some seats, but I imagine it fills up fast. We got the soul rolls, catfish & grits, hot n honey chicken, fried chicken & waffles, greens, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes. That food was so good I don't even have a picture to post! It was ate upppp.

Felicia D.

Yelp
The food is phenomenal The service is awesome The process to order is also efficient

Kerry A.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks!!!! The atmosphere is fun and friendly!!! @thehealthinspector8

Leslie A.

Yelp
I was so excited to go here. Definitely was not worth the trip or money. Greens was horrible, no seasoning no taste. Macaroni was ok. Lamb chops was ok. Will not be returning.

Edward C.

Yelp
Great food when I say everything was great I can not express it any other way. Good service food was hot and fresh and who ever cooking need a pay raise a must try when it come to dining

A T.

Yelp
This food was absolutely amazing! Even through doordash, which isn't always hot- it was perfect! The sweet potatoes was so good and the lamp chops were on point! Will be back!!

Sherra C.

Yelp
Went with two girlfriends on a Sunday afternoon bout 2p. We ordered together to share. Fried green tomatoes. Soul egg rolls, wings w/easy lemon pepper. One catfish po boy sandwich w/side of collard greens and side of mac & cheese. Another catfish po boy w/side of collard greens. One order of lamb chops (4 chops) w/side of garlic mashed and collard greens. One order of fried Oreos. Food was tasty and pricey. The soul rolls and oreos were a hit with everyone. I would've ordered the sauce for the chops on the side instead of on the meat. Four stars because it's packaged to go and served in plastic containers w/plastic ware for dine in; not a fan of that. You place your order and go back up when it's ready. Good customer service. Tomatoes weren't cripsy due to steam I guess. I would go back though. Sorry no pics but it looks like the restaurant pics on social media.

Roshanda W.

Yelp
First let me start off I gave it 4 stars because the cashier is always so pleasant. I've been here a few times and each time the food was pretty tasty. I don't like how long it takes to get your food but at least you know it's fresh. It is VERY pricey sometimes it feels a little too overpriced. The last time I went here my husband got the Alfredo pasta with the salmon and chicken he got it jerked which was an extra $2 but it was really good. I got the stuffed chicken breast, which had a decent flavor but it was very dry and over cooked,I got that with greens and mash which were pretty good. The place is really nice in the inside limited seating. If we were to go back I would go back for the Alfredo.

Jelani N.

Yelp
OVERPRICED OVERPRICED OVERPRICED!! The food portions are very small for what you pay for. I spent $70.00 here for two very small portioned meals and a appetizer to dine in and have to eat out of plastic containers. Very dissatisfied. The food wasn't bad, the ambiance was ok. and the service was fair. I won't say anything bad about that but what I paid for and received is definitely enough to make me NEVER wanna spend my money there again. Go somewhere else, have a real dine in experience and leave full not still hungry and you won't feel robbed.

Concerned P.

Yelp
We live about 3 blocks from here, took us awhile to try it out. I am so glad we did today, but mad at myself that we did not do it sooner. The food is AMAZING! I cannot think of a restaurant in the Orland Area that has fresher or tastier food. We got Soul Rolls, Fried Green Tomatoes, hot honey wings, fried catfish and grits, red beans and rice, and greens, and each thing was better and better as we ate. HANDS DOWN THE BEST WINGS I HAVE EVER HAD! We cannot wait to go back and try more. It is the hidden gem on mall drive.

S D.

Yelp
10/10 Food. There is no wait staff. Ambiance good amount of talk among guest but definitely not a quiet place.

James R.

Yelp
Can't lie this place was pretty mid. The restaurant was nice but a lil overpriced. The food comes out and it actually looks pretty good but just isn't flavorful. I didn't hate it at all but could just live without it.

YeRoc C.

Yelp
Love the stuffed salmon. Stop overcooking it. Salmon doesn't need to be cooked so hard.

Teena B.

Yelp
My friends wanted to try this spot due to social media post. I tried it before months ago but I was hoping they had improved. We order the salmon and waffles, lamb chops and a stuffed salmon. First we were put off by the plastic containers when we are eating in. Second Everything was salty. Toooo salty. My friend ordered the banana pudding and it too thick and heavy , not good. we threw it away. The lamb chop were not fresh, overcooked and had a vinegar glaze that was all vinegar and awful. All three of us were so disappointed and felt very deceived. Don't waste your money. At 40 dollars a person we were left with high blood pressure and acid ingestion.

Yelp
The honey lemon pepper wings were really good but everything else was just mid. Catfish fillets weren't really seasoned, the grits were soupy and was drowned in seasoning salt, macaroni was nothing impressive. If I return it would be for the wings and maybe I'd give something else a try. Also it's a bit pricey. I think social media may have overhyped this one.

Yelp
Ordered carry out and not only did it take over an hour to get my food, they got my order wrong that I paid and upcharge for. I ordered the fried chicken with hot honey, they gave me 3 wings instead of the 4 that it was supposed to come with and they did not add the hot honey. Besides that the wings and macaroni were good, but the mashed potatoes were very bland. Honestly would not recommend.

Yelp
BlackBerry margarita. Catfish. Mac and cheese. Greens. It was ALL good. The bartender (JP) was amazing, I'll be back!

Yelp
Each of the three people enjoyed their orders (Hot Honey Salmon and Waffle, Catfish, Mac and Cheese, and Sweet Potatoes). While the prices are similar to dining in elsewhere, the restaurant is actually set up for take out. You stand in line, place your order and pay, wait for your order to get ready, and you can choose to either dine in or takeout. Either way, the food is given in plastic containers with plastic ware. There are a few drinks similar to Kool-Aid, Coca Cola bottles, or water for purchase. I also saw a water dispenser and small plastic cups. Although I'm sure they are trying to keep costs down, I'd like the option of dining in with waiters and silverware. Food: Tasty, but a little pricey for "takeout". Service: Pleasant (Placed order, no table service) Ambiance: Limited tables but nice and with music.

Yelp
The food wasn't great. The sweet potatoes had too much sugar and my catfish was burnt. The best thing were the greens. I also didn't like the way this place was set up. It felt more like a fast food place rather than an actual restaurant. Other than that, it was ok but I wasn't too impressed.

Yelp
The food was ok. Just ok for the money that I paid. There are no wait staff to take your order. You are given menus, then stand in line to place your order. This appeared to be an eat in restaurant. However your food is packed in plastic containers for take out. The prices are very, very high for the food that I ordered. Needless to say, I will not visit this restaurant again.

Yelp
This restaurant has a very casual vibe. You walk in & order at the counter. There was a long line but it moved very quickly! The lady at the counter, Shantasia, was so kind!! We ordered our food & it was ready in about 20 mins. We dined in but everything is served in to-go containers. I loved the catfish & the Mac and cheese. The red beans and rice were okay. And the salmon egg rolls were good but I probably would not order again. However they do have many other starters that I would give a try!! I would def go again if I find myself in the Orland Park area.
