Disclaimer: I am not the audience for ordering food and picking it up from a box without interacting with human beings. I'm not there yet. So although I'd heard of Soulfly, I wasn't particularly interested in visiting. Nevertheless, was celebrating my mom's birthday and the birthday girl wanted to come here after our wine tasting next door. I'm glad the experience was not as impersonal as I anticipated. Partly because I just didn't feel like sticking to the script but also I couldn't get that doggone pickup situation together. LOL I had so many issues with the code to retrieve my order, it was seriously comical. I did observe others come in, put in the code, get the food and go though. You do have to order on the kiosk but I was able to ask the manager if I could order it like this or that, which he happily made note of for my particular order. There was a little wait for having ordered onsite - things would have felt quicker had I ordered online from offsite then stopped in to pickup when notified the order was ready. I had the wings and cajun rice. Now what surprised me was that chicken! Ok, Soulfly! Very nicely seasoned, good crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I was impressed considering my expectations. It reminded me of those good chinese takeout chicken wings. Nice surprise. The cajun rice was just okay for me. The challenges to me coming back are that the price is just high for what you get. I understand there is a cost for "convenience" so it is what it is. However adding $6.54 to the order when I had to do the work to place it then pick it up is.... I don't and won't mind continuing to do things the old school way to pay a more reasonable price for fried chicken in other nearby neighborhoods. Also, no "convenient" parking. I feel like this spot is more geared towards people strolling on the street or for food delivery drivers who will be on a moped only. Overall for the chicken and helpfulness of the onsite staff, I give it a 3.5, not just a 3.

I don't know how this restaurant does not have 5 stars- I would give ten stars if I could. When we arrived, we headed straight to the kiosks and ordered our food. I was amazed to see that they catered to many dietary restrictions such as gluten, vegan and even dairy free. The shop smelled amazing- I couldn't wait to type my order in sooner. The prices were very fair and there were so many customization options, yet the menu was very simple. We chose to try the chicken tender box with sides of 'Fly Sauce', the side of Mac and Cheese, Spuds (waffle fries), and Spinach Greens. Once you pay at the kiosk, you await your order which is shows on one of the lockers. Once ready, (which is rather quickly!), you type in your phone number and the locker opens. The boxing of the chicken is so cute and retro looking, a great design. The taste was amazing, we chose mild as our tender flavor and it did not disappoint. All of the sides were great- my favorite being the Mac and cheese. The chicken was real chicken and hand breaded to perfection. However, the highlight of my experience was Chef Tingling personally coming out and explaining the menu to us, thanking us for coming, and even telling us more about the allergen conscious menu. He is truly awesome and down to Earth. I wish him nothing but the best- I know I will be a future customer for sure.

This is my first time here and I'm happy I tried it. There is a lot if tech crammed into this small business. This was also huge sandwich. The salt content of the sandwich was low, but the waffle fries were a lil salty, that complimented the tangyness of the sandwich. The Service was great too. It's a crime that they don't have fried chicken n waffles.

When I saw Soulfly Chicken featured in an Instagram video, I knew I had to get to Wynwood and taste some of Miami's best fried chicken. I have to admit that I'm still getting used to the idea of self-ordering. I enjoy speaking with people. However, I silently placed my order through the digital kiosk. I was tempted to order everything on the menu. I choose the Classic Chicken Sandwich, Dirty Rice, Fried Corn, and a Peach Cobbler Milkshake instead. While I waited for my food, I jammed out to early 2000s R&B music and ate a chicken tender that a restaurant customer generously gave me. There were two tables where people could stand and eat, as well as four stools where people could sit and wait for their food. My order was placed in a clear locker, and I needed to enter the last four digits of my phone number to get it. The chicken was incredibly flavorful. Whatever they coat the chicken in before frying it was delicious. Get the Fire level if you like your chicken spicy. The Hot level was only moderately spicy. My biggest surprise was how much I liked the Fried Corn. The Dirty Rice, which I expected to be more flavorful, disappointed me. I can't wait to go back and get some more chicken tenders (which were incredibly meaty and filling) with the hot honey sauce. On my next trip, I'd also like to try the Banana Pudding, Sweet Potato Biscuits, and Iced Tea as well.

I ate here 2x. Love the in store locker pick up idea. The locker will only open up for your order. This avoids any confusion. Inside is clean, menu is on the wall. There is a kiosk to order. This isn’t a sit down restaurant. I do wish there was a way to know an ETA on when your food will be done. After you order you just get a text that lets you know you will be informed when to pick up. I’ve tried their Mac and cheese which was cheesy. The chicken sandwich I had was excellent. Not sure how they get they chicken so tender, moist but still crispy. I got the medium which wasn’t too spicy. It was actually very mild. I also tried the hot chicken sandwich and it was very spicy. I don’t mind spicy I just think there needs to be a better balance of spice or kick between the medium and spicy sauces. The fried corn was small but good. I went back and tried the wings. The breading is soft and flaky which I enjoyed. Wings weren’t those small chicken wings. I tried the collard greens that day and I must say that they were salty so I didn’t enjoy or eat them. But I must say I got the banana pudding both days and it was amazing. That was a main reason I returned the second time. Price point is ok. There is parking in the back btw

I was so excited to try this place. I live in Miami and have seen it on TikTok a couple times. The only saving grace for the two stars and the experience was the sandwich. The "cheesy" aspect of the Mac and cheese was nonexistent. We were served butter noodles with remnants of shredded cheese spread throughout. The sweet potato biscuits were dense and disappointing, and the fries were regular. Not spectacular and could use more seasoning. It’s safe to say that the mark was missed, and I’m hoping it was just a bad day and not a universal experience. Pictures are attached.

Google
The food and service is amazing every time I come. This is my third visit and so far, I have no complaints. I have tried the chicken sandwich, the chicken wings and the chicken tenders and each time, the breading has been crispy and flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The Nashville hot with the honey hot sauce is my favorite flavor. Their sides are amazing. I’ve tried the macaroni and cheese, the greens, fries and the banana pudding. 10/10 would ALWAYS recommend!

I'm all about the greens. If you can make some good greens, then I know your food is good! To say the least.. I drank the juice and licked the cup clean! Thank you for having the respect this food deserves. Good food for the soul 🙏 I'll be back to eat the rest!

Yelp
1st things 1st EASY PARKING is a must especially in Miami these days! The food options are amazing simple and you'll get a quick takeout. I was craving some chicken, mac n cheese and some greens so I stopped by. I ordered the above list and forget the sweet potato biscuit SMH. I heard that biscuits is incredible! The 1/2 chicken was moist and the portion size was bigger than your average 1/2 chicken orders. The Mac n cheese i wish the portion was a little bigger since it was SLAMMMMIN and for the GREENS as well! Will i be back 110% SLAMMMMIN... and the guys who prepped it much respect! Super cool dudes!

Yelp
Just ok... We loved how easy the ordering process is, you basically order in the kiosk and wait for you food to be ready. Once it's ready they leave the food into a pod and you can open it with a code or by scanning it to get your food. There are 2 small tables inside of you want to eat there but it's more of a place to get your food to go which we liked. Overall the chicken tenders were ok, my husband really enjoyed the burger. We wanted to try the sauces and we thought the order came with at least one sauce but we didn't realize you have to pay extra for each sauce so your order doesn't come with any at all. That was disappointing The food took about 50 min to be ready which seemed like a pretty long wait for 4 tenders and a chicken sandwich too It's a cute place that we'd probably go to only if we're around the area but we'd probably order ahead.

Yelp
FLY YOUR SOUL DOWN TO SOULFLY NOW. I think a good chicken sandwich is hard to come by. Especially when ordering delivery. Everything arrived in mint condition. No sogginess anywhere. This was the perfect size and tasted fresh. I like how they allow you to customize your sauce and spice level. A little on the pricier side considering the sandwiches don't come with a side, but so be it. I'm giving five stars for quality.
google avatar

Yelp
The food options are good and you get quick quality takeout. I was craving some chicken tenders so I stopped by. I ordered some chicken tenders and a sweet potato biscuit. The tenders are so moist and the portion size is bigger than your average chicken tenders. You have an option for sauces but I find it is too much money $3 per sauce for a small portion. As for the biscuit it is amazing and the flavor is the best part. It is definitely my favorite thing. The overall price is higher than average takeout but okay if you want to treat yourself once in awhile. I will stop by again.

Yelp
I was excited to try Soulfly Chicken as I love chicken sandwiches and it lived up to my expectations. The restaurant is small, resembling a ghost kitchen, with 1-2 tables and a few chairs to sit and dine in. Ordering is quick and easy using a kiosk, and once ready, the staff places it in a locker for contactless pickup. I ordered the Taste of South chicken sandwich combo, which was tasty and well-seasoned. The fly sauce is delicious, I wish they offered it on the side for the fries, which are also nicely seasoned as well. There is parking available on both the side and back of the restaurant. You are in and out within 10 minutes of ordering.

Yelp
You enter the store, use the kiosk to browse the menu and place your order, and pick it up in your assigned locker (which lists your name). The only thing missing was an estimated timeframe of when your food would be ready. I ended up waiting almost 20 minutes, but would have gone for a walk had I known it would take that long. As for the actual food, the fried chicken sandwich was pretty good, though a bit on the salty side for my taste. At least the meat was juicy, the skin was crunchy, and the bread was soft and tasty. I liked seeing the small but appetizing variety of sandwich options they offered, and the hot honey added a nice slight sweetness to the sandwiches. I also tried the sweet potato biscuit, and that was delicious. Soft, sweet potato flavor, with a bit of glaze on top- just right.
google avatar

Yelp
Food flavor is 10/10. We got the tender combo with lemon pepper, wings combo & sweet potato biscuit. I will say the portions are small for the price, only 2 wings and 2 tenders per combo. The biscuit is delicious but more cakey not flakey like a biscuit. Fries & chicken very well seasoned. Price: pricey But quality food.$3 for watery blue cheese is outrageous to me. Service is fast & staff is friendly. Place is clean. Looks like a ghost kitchen concept, only to go no dine in.

Yelp
Whole chicken, fried to perfection, not too greasy, well seasoned throughout. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and ouuy gooey, dirty rice,- def worth ordering- flavorful but not salty. collards- they put their foot in it!, sweet potato biscuit, not really my jam, maybe needs a warm honey apple butter or something to razzle dazzle it, but worth trying. wedge fries, coleslaw, are good no frills! candied yam pie, and banana pudding- babyyyyy these two cousins right here, sheesh! They compliment the meal nicely! You can definitely tell the chef had formal training which is hard to find in the same sentence as soul food...and even harder in South Florida! Def 10/10 reccomend, I will be ordering again!!

Yelp
After trying this place in a recent Yelp event I was surprised, and on the second trip I was sold. Beyond just being a modern day Automat, the chicken sandwich is genuinely great. My hot lemon pepper with fire sauce provided impressive heat and even more impressive flavor, possibly the best chicken sandwich I've had (in a long while, at least) The sides are decent but not out of this world, the first time my , Mac & Cheese was proper cheesy but my last experience was more like hot buttered noodles. Not inedible as one Yelper described it, but not Mac & Cheese. I've been told the spuds are the way to go, I guess I'll have to go find out for myself...

Yelp
How is this place not the talk of the town? Soulfly chicken must be on the Miami map for BEST fried chicken, chicken sandwich, and chicken tenders HANDS DOWN. I tried it with a very neutral attitude not expecting the best nor the worst. I loved the owners story, origination, food truck come up, and the modern and unique store set up. Not to mention A1 location. I thought to myself I wonder how this will fare against chik fil a...I feel foolish now. This chicken is literally made with love. The classic sandwich is a MUST. It didn't even need extra sauce, you need to savor every bite. I will continue to recommend this place because it truly is that good.
google avatar

Viviana P.

Yelp
Okay the food is 10/10. The flavor of the chicken is amazing. Also the portions are huge! I got the Mac and cheese and the chicken tenders. Each tender is the size of a whole chicken breast! The only downside is that there is no sitting. So you can only take it to go.

Yelp
Cool little spot with no human interaction. Order via app or self service kiosk and fairly tasty chicken concoctions will be delivered neatly and quickly to a self service locker that only you can open. Props to this place for making spicy chicken actually spicy. Buyer beware....Nashville hot leaves something to be desired though for this TN boy.

Yelp
Haven't been to chick-fil-a since this place opened. It's superb. Chicken is crispy yet juicy, pickles are crunchy and delicious, and slaw has the perfect amount of tang. Shop is small with two kiosks and a wall of lockers. There's but a single small table, Main complaint for me is the price of the side sauce and the fact there isn't anywhere to sit/eat. Chefs/Cooks are very friendly and amenable to making adjustments when asked. Will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped in to try this cool concept of no in-person contact. The restaurant lobby is small with 2 standing tables- I wish they had more space to sit down but I get it, the concept is fast. I ordered the tenders, taste of the south sandwich, sweet potato biscuits, fries and pickles. The tenders were bigger than my hand! Talk about hot fresh delicious chicken. The flavor was great and the chicken moist. The sandwich was also just so flavorful, all fresh ingredients. The pickles I ate like chips, I couldn't just have 1. The drinks we a little pricey but the food was great and well worth it. I will be back!

Yelp
From what I've read, Soulfly is still relatively new to the Miami area and was first introduced through a food truck. Now they have their own shop but it's not a traditional fast food place where you place your order with a human behind the counter. Instead, when you walk in, you see a bunch of mailbox looking things where they place customer orders and behind that is the kitchen. To the right are kiosks where you can place your order and pay with card (I can't recall if cash is accepted). I sort of liked it like this because you don't have to awkwardly stare at a menu to narrow down your options while an employee pretends to not stare at you. You feel at peace browsing through the menu. The only limitation is that there isn't a notes section which removes the capability to add things like "please add this ingredient on the side" "please only had a little bit of this sauce" etc. All of their menu items looked super delicious especially their chicken sandwiches. From what I've heard, they're pretty massive so it makes sense why one without fries is $10. I ultimately went with the 3 piece mild chicken wings so I could have an isolated taste of just their chicken to give it a proper rating and a side of Mac and cheese because I couldn't resist. To my surprise, there was an extra wing in the box which was very kind of them. I thought it was pretty good. The chicken was crunchy, juicy, and flavorful, BUT...I think they missed the mark when it came to the spice level. It was not at all spicy and my friend got the "hot" level and said that wasn't spicy so it might be worthwhile to reevaluate the spiciness. I really liked how the full wings was given, rather than just the drum or just the flat or both but without the third small piece. The Mac and cheese was delicious. It's not your stringy cheese kind of Mac and cheese but rather the kind that's gooey. The macaroni was tender, it's a bit oily but that just adds to the good flavor. I wish the chicken came with a biscuit or side of fries to complete the meal. The sauce they give kind of taste like a combination of mayonnaise and a light amount of ketchup with Tabasco hot sauce (it tasted vinegary and a tiny bit spicy). I didn't like the pickles it came with since they were too vinegary. Although the staff is blocked by the mail (food) boxes, they are still there to help you if needed and are very friendly. One thing my friend and I noticed is that you can tell they invest a lot into their packaging and presentation of their food (especially chicken boxes) which is cool but one suggestion would be to go with less "fancy" packaging and consider reducing menu prices with the savings or just to help the environment.

Yelp
WOWWWW!!!! If you are in the mood for some double fried crispy chicken this is the place!!!! I feel like I ordered damn near everything because there was so many options to choose from and no one to ask for advice LOL! I WILL BE BACK FOR THAT CHICKEN SANDWICH!!! 4 pc tender was smacking, especially because it was battered to perfection!!! Chicken wings are delicious with a nice crispy crust and flaky spiciness to it. Dirty rice 10/10 no pork filled with flavor peppers and onions! The mac & cheese was the only disappointment which is the reason for the 4 stars. The signature sauce is yummy, then the hot honey dip is hot and sweet just like you ordered!!! When ordering chicken it can be fried and too greasy or lack flavor BUT THIS HERE, this here is just what the food doctor ordered! Go with money to spend because the lavender lemonade might make you scream!!!!!

Yelp
Located in Wynwood, Soulfly Chicken serves up juicy chicken tenders and delicious sandwiches. I'm particularly fond of their mac and cheese and banana pudding. The ordering process and pickup experience are cool. It stands out as one of the best fried chicken spots in Miami. With only 2 tables, I suggest enjoying your meal elsewhere. Also, don't miss out on the sauces - they add extra flavor to the food.
google avatar

Yelp
good fried chicken sandwiches. Gotta order from a computer and hardly any socialization but the food is solid.

Yelp
I've passed by the place a few times and decided to go in after always smelling the chicken from the outside. It's definitely a hole in the way but mostly it's for pickup yet there 2 standing tables inside if you wish to eat inside. Ordering process was super easy. You can do so via your mobile device or inside. Once you order, you have to wait till this txt you with your locker number and jock to open you'll have to put the last 4 digits of your phone which will unlock your locker door. It's soo easy and cute. Love it! That's only have the experience. We ordered the medium spiced chicken tenders and waffle fries and coleslaw. Let me tell you something..... that's the best chicken I've ever had. It was flavorful and moist. Not sure how they do it but literally I almost didn't have to chew. It was so tender that it just falls apart in my mouth. I really recommend. The dipping sauce I got was their own sauce which has a spicy kick to it but it was amazing. I definitely want to come back and try their Mac and cheese and dirty rice.

Yelp
I came to Soulfly with my boyfriend as part of the Yelp Elite Experience. This place has a unique way of serving you as they have kiosks you go up to, simply place your order and you will get notified when your order is in it's locker. We ordered the full wings (mild, lemon pepper, breaded), fries, the sweet potato biscuit, and the mac and cheese. I was going to get the lavender lemonade because i've heard great things however I was told they didn't have anymore although I saw a good amount still available in the fridge in front of me. The chicken is truly the best fried chicken i've ever had. FULL of flavor, not oily and the chicken is so soft and flavorful. The fries weren't waffle fries! It caught me by surprise but they were just regular fries. The mac and cheese was cheesy, but it was missing something so I added the hot honey they have and that was the perfect addition because it took the flavor to a whole other level. The sweet potato biscuit is the best way to finish off the meal because it's a sweet spice and compliments everything else. It tastes kind of like pumpkin flavor! It's a grab and go so there's not much to say on the ambiance. Definitely would come again one day!

Yelp
This place was so good I'm literally still thinking about it. I ordered in the shop at the kiosk, you need a tap to pay or credit card not sure if they take cash. The food came out about 10 minutes after, it was placed in a cute little locker with my name on it that I had to scan to unlock with my phone number that I had used to place the order. I ordered the chicken sandwich in chili oil with the special sauce pickles and coleslaw. The sandwich was generous with the size of the chicken and it was fried perfectly but still very juicy. I didn't opt for any sides the sandwich was very filling, with my additions to the sandwich it was about $12. I ordered the spicy version but next time I would get the spiciest version as it wasn't too bad. There's only a few seats inside I think it's intended for take out but I would definitely return again soon.

Yelp
My girls and I went to this Black owned chicken joint on Saturday 9/16/23. Listen the chicken is so flavorful taste so goodt. The Mac n cheese, collard greens, sweet potato cornbread was EVERYTHING! I love how you walk up to the kiosk place your order pay then wait until your number is called. It's personalized it has your name and order number you pop in your pin then boom locker opens. We also met the man behind the Soulfly Chicken Mr.Troy himself he's so nice and pleasant. This is definitely not your KFC or Popeyes with the rude customer service. But best believe I'll drive that 1 hour and 15mins for chicken! Thank you Troy for being so respectful and pleasant . Come on down to Coconut Creek .

Yelp
I would not recommend this place. They didn't have a lot of employees and they didn't take your order. It was all digital. It was very small at it took over an hour for our food to arrive. Keep in mind, we only ordered fries, chicken tenders, a small burger, and some drinks. Once we got the food, it was nowhere near expected. The fries were good, hence the reason I am giving this 2 stars. However, the chicken didn't even taste like chicken. We also ordered a sandwich without spice. They made it extremely spicy. The lonely ambience of the place combined with the bad service and food gives this the rating it deserves.
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
Ordering concept is pretty cool. You order at a kiosk and then with your phone number you can open one of the lockers when is ready. Ordered a combo of tenders which was $12.99 for 2 tenders, fries and a can of Diet Coke. Fries were tasty and the chicken was decently seasoned but the breading was falling off the tender when grabbing it which was annoying. Taste wise, it was ok, nothing amazing. Also for $12.99 I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you get. Sauces are extra at $1 each and not included in the combo. I wish they at least had one included. Had a classic chicken sandwich and that was the star of the order, it was really good. Nice sizable chicken fillet, brioche bun and overall very tasty.

Got this for takeout and it was absolutely amazing!! So much flavor and not dry! Definitely a new fav. I didn't even get a chance to take pictures! I Can't wait to order again so I can post some quality pictures and do another review

Yelp
RUN DON'T WALK! I have found my new food addiction in Miami lol ! Ordered Soulfly on Uber Eats. I ordered the Hot Lemon Pepper/Medium Heat Tenders, Smoked Greens,Mac&Cheese,Banana Pudding, and 4 Fly Sauces. The Tenders were my absolute favorite . This is the most flavorful chicken I've had in a VERY long time . The tenders were nice and crispy and medium heat level is perfect for people who like spice but don't want their mouth on fire lol ! The banana pudding was also amazing and I love the amount of wafers in the pudding ! & the Fly Sauce is Chefs Kiss

Yelp
I love this new concept that SoulFly Chicken has brought to Wynwood! I ordered a few chicken sandwiches as well as the chicken tenders, mac and cheese, dirty rice, fries, biscuits, peach cobbler milk shake and the banana pudding. EVERYTHING was so good and flavorful. The chicken comes out super hot and juicy but still crunchy on the outside. They have 4 different levels of heat. I ordered medium on the tenders and hot for the sandwich and the hot is HOT, so if you like spicy I def recommend hot or the fire. My favorite sides were def the dirty rice, the biscuits and the fries. They use a seasoning on the fries that is so good you don't even need to dip them in sauce or ketchup. The prices were very standard for the type of food and location. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Not really worth all the hype. The chicken itself had flavor but just not the right flavors. The roasted corn was bland and had no salt. You're better off going to Bro's Hot Chicken on 67th Ave and 8 street!

Yelp
This place has great food and excellent customer service. I love the grab and go concept they implemented because it shows that they're prepared to serve food during any time. Lol they are pandemic proof. My favorite sides are the greens and the dirty rice. If you're a person like me that does not eat pork, this is the place for you. No pork in the greens and they use chicken in the dirty rice. The tenders are big and juicy and you gotta try the peach cobbler milkshake!! It's bomb !

Yelp
Food is fantastic, I wish I got it even hotter. It took about 15 minutes to get the order after I placed it. Very pricing for one sandwich, but was very good.

Yelp
I give the place 3 stars as someone in the culinary industry and as a chef I eat fried chicken everyday, let me start by saying you can taste the 3-4 day old grease I had 7 ppl trying the whole chicken I got and they all said it tasted like it was fried with fish! Very disappointed I will return and hope things change when i return.

Yelp
Great chicken, nice portions. Banana pudding and the corn wheels with the seasoning and sauce are both great complements to the chicken.

Yelp
Was so excited to try a new chicken place. Pick up was easy and straightforward and it smelled great. Soon as we got home and tried the sides, we got worried. The mac and cheese tasted like a weird broccoli cheddar soup with garlic instead of broccoli. The corn was weird discs of corn on the cob with the cob center still there. The sweet potato roll was fine I guess but it did kind of taste like a raisin. But the main event was the chicken sandwich. The bun looked underwhelming and the chicken looked boring. Looks were not deceiving. The bun was mushy and the chicken was bland. In the end I had to stop my wife from trying her tenders to keep from ruining her evening.

Yelp
Went at 4:30 and it was CLOSED....so not sure why as in YELP tge hours suggest OPEN So wanted to enjoy your menu... can you elaborate your hours of operation? Next time?

Yelp
Not the type to really leave a review. Was hyped to try the place out since I heard many people talk about it. Honestly the sandwich wasn't to bad. The only reason im giving this place a two star is because I notice the people making the food in the back had no gloves on. One of them even sneezed a couple of times not sure if he even washed his hands and he was the one making the chicken sandwich. Honestly I didn't really enjoyed my chicken sandwich because i had that thought in mind. Won't be eating from this place again.

Yelp
Wow! I've been anticipating the opening , I was not disappointed, very satisfying! Everything taste as good as I thought it would! Food was fresh , hot and delicious! And to make it even better the service was exceptional! Number one takeout soul food spot in Wynwood !

Yelp
I recently visited SoulFly Chicken Restaurant, and unfortunately, I must say that I was quite disappointed with my experience. While the restaurant had a decent ambiance and friendly staff, the food itself fell short of my expectations. Firstly, let's talk about the chicken. I ordered their signature fried chicken, expecting a flavorful and crispy coating. However, the chicken turned out to be rather bland and lacked the desired crunch. It was evident that the seasoning was insufficient, and the overall taste was underwhelming. Considering that fried chicken is the restaurant's specialty, I had expected much better.

Yelp
Takes forever do not order in the store. Workers are extremely rude and don't care about customer service.

Yelp
Disappointing. The flavor was not good. The chicken was hard. The sweet potato biscuit tasted terrible. The only good thing was the Mac and cheese. It was also too expensive for such mediocre food. Will not be eating from there again.

Yelp
First off I drove 45 mins for this next the mac and cheese taste gritty and no seasoning. Next the chicken wings was straight ass all that breading is not necessary for it jus to fall in the chicken box and nasty after taste would not recommend this to anyone!!! Wish the stars can be negative

Yelp
I live across the street and I cannot get enough. Really happy that we have a location like this around. Customer service is really good, staff seem super friendly.

Yelp
10 out of 10! For sure, my daughter said we should by a house near by so we can always get the food. I personally tried a little of everything. Must have the wings, the sandwich I tried the one with the coleslaw, the wings, the fry corn and LORD please try the banana pudding and all flavors of the lemonades the fries was good too!!! I forgot to take a picture of the sandwich was too busy enjoying it...!!! Just visit!!!

Yelp
Trash. Ordered the hot chicken wings and not even a kick and had no taste whatsoever. The breading was messy and falls apart the moment you touch it.

Yelp
BEST fried chicken I have had in Miami - tenders are amazing, sandwiches are juicy and loved every side I tried. The corn wheels are phenomenal as is the slaw and sweet potato biscuit. Have been three times now and never disappointed.

Yelp
I had a "taste of the south" sandwich at smorgasburg today and wow!!! So juicy, flavorful, excellent. One of the best slaws I've had (and I'm from the south!). Service was great and wait time estimates were accurate. Can't wait to see more from soulfly!

Yelp
Just the right amount of crisp in the batter. Fantastic juicy chicken and the hot sauce with the right amount of heat!

Yelp
Went to Soulfly last weekend and ordered the 3 whole wings...omg they were amazing!!! Fried to order and still hasfrashas hot when we got home to eat!! Mac and cheese and some waffle fries and we were in business!!! I really thought that this was it...the best fried chicken in Miami...went back this weekend Sept 10 and ordered the wings (6 this time) some coleslaw and dirty rice. The sides were bangin! Then came the chicken...as soon as I opened the box I could see they were refried. In other words they were already fried once and then fried again to heat them up (I suppose.) The coating was over cooked and really hard almost inedible. I was so disappointed because they aren't cheap (6 whole wings for $20 and extra for some sauce.). I really hope this place doesn't fall victim to the Miami slide where these incredible restaurants pop up and they're slamming for a few weeks and then some joker comes in to "help" save them money and the quality takes a nosedive until they close shop. SOULFLY please keep your original concept of cooking to order!! If people are complaining about having to wait (this is Miami after all) tell them to suck it and WAIT cause greatness takes time! I hope when I go back I'll have a better experience!! Here's to hoping!!
