Google
We stopped in for a pizza and really enjoyed everything about this place. We went with a custom pie (BBQ sauce and meatballs) which was great! I don't always like BBQ sauce based pizza but theirs is the right mix of tangy and spicy for me. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and they are setup for live music. There's a bunch of cool artwork on the walls and our server even took a few minutes to share a personal story about the artist that painted many of them. I highly recommend trying Soulshine.

Google
Wife and I stopped in for lunch while traveling to Nashville. Wife throughly enjoyed the muffuletta and I had the honey hot pepperoni pizza. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was buzzing. They offer karaoke on Thursday nights and have drink specials in different days. Multiple big screen TVs with views from every seat. Great big, little place. Already been back with our adult kids.

Ted Shikuma

Google
Great pizza lunch spot. The service was excellent with our server making sure everything was good every several minutes.

Google
We stopped in for lunch, and my son loved it. He had the Cream of Crawfish Soup, and he ate every drop. It was definitely his favorite part of the meal, and we would definitely return for more of that soup. I had the Greek salad, and it was very fresh and delicious. We also ordered pizza...The Kitchen Sink. It was good, but I would probably try a different pizza next time. Thanks for a great lunch. We enjoyed it.

Kathryn Patterson

Google
Food was great. I 100% recommend the build your own calzones. The medium size is enough to fill you up, and have some saved for later. Our server was nice, and was overall a good experience.

Stephen Speciale

Google
Highly recommended! The owners are awesome people, the staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. Great pizza, salads, and drinks. They also have fun outings with karaoke and trivia nights during the week.

Google
The food is pretty good. Not quite as delicious as I remember from the midtown location, but almost there. The house and Caesar salads are decent and Soulshine is the reason I fell in love with ricotta cheese on pizza! So good! The nachos are interesting... they're made with pita chips and the flavor is really good. My family and I will likely return.

Google
Haven't been to a Soulshine since the one in midtown Nash, way back when. Super tasty pizza, ordered a medium "Kitchen Sink," no olives. (Essentially a supreme pizza.) Ordered in store and took it home, but the dining area is pretty nice too. Great find, nice staff, check it out!

Yelp
ONE OF THE BEST LUNCH DEALS IN TOWN! You wouldn't know it, unless you heard it. It's not publicly advertised to date. So, I'm doing you a favor and letting the secret out. You can get a sandwich, bag of chips, salad, and drink for $12. You can also get a small pizza, salad, and drink for the same price. The day I went, I had the Italian sandwich (yummy), bag of barbecue kettle chips, Caesar salad, and coke. I met a friend there on a whim, but I plan to suggest it to many other friends. As long as they continue to have all that for the same price, I will continue to frequently dine there. To note, there is a new owner. So, I hope the prices don't increase. He seems like a pretty cool guy bc he has some of his personal memorabilia in the restaurant. Go check it all out, as soon as you can! Great food and service!! The only reason it doesn't get a five star is bc I only give them for fine dining establishments. But, me giving a casual place 4 stars, says a lot. It's rare I do that, and it has to be earned when I do. Sorry, no pics. I ate it too fast! lol

Yelp
I had a taste for pizza and soul shine was less than 5 minutes from my hotel so I decided to give them a try. I ordered a create your own pizza with: mushrooms, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, smoked bacon and r roasted chicken. The young man who took my order was friendly double checked that he had my order correct before submitting it. My pizza was ready in about 15 minutes and was brought to me with 2 cookies. When I got back to my hotel people in the elevator commented on how much they like soulshine so I couldn't wait eat. The pizza was the perfect size for 1 person, full of flavor and a great crust.

Yelp
Mckenna was a fantastic server! The food was delicious. We highly recommend the crawfish soup and Mississipien Pizza. Side caesar salad was also delicious.

Ken J.

Yelp
Soulshine is a regular for my office since we are in Berry Farms. Their cream of crawfish soup is fantastic and you can't beat their lunch special. You get a personal pizza (which is plenty big) with whatever you want on it, a cup of soup or a salad and a drink. Salads are plenty big and they have a variety for everyone. Service is always fantastic and fast. Tables have some space between them so you can talk to your table and not interrupt others or be interrupted.

Andi M.

Yelp
Honestly really liked my salad until I got closer to the bottom and found a dead fly in my salad. Kind of ruined it for me & couldn't eat the rest. The girl who gave me my order was friendly. Not sure if I'll be back.

Galen B.

Yelp
Had the CCR pie and six wings. Very good flavor with well-balanced ingredients . I definitely like the thinner, crispier crusts here than that thick , gooey dough "mushroom" place. The wings were of a good size and cooked perfectly. Great owners as well. Try it ...you'll like it .

Jessica S.

Yelp
Our family enjoys this little place in Berry Farms! While their pizza is amazing, their pasta and salads are also delicious! Family trivia night on Wednesday make for a fun time for all! Service is usually pretty quick and have had some good servers in the past.

Conia W.

Yelp
Comfy neighborhood hangout. Always wonderful sweet waitresses here. The cream of crawfish soup is surprisingly good. Salads are a great size with fresh ingredients, and the bbq pizza is mouth-watering . They also serve smooth Community Coffee which is a hit with us

Mark W.

Yelp
At here on a Sunday evening. Walked right in and was seated immediately. Others ordered a wild bill and a 5 cheese pizzas. Said they were very good. I ordered a club sandwich. Bread was fresh and good. Toppings were good. Would like to have seen thick bacon verse what appeared to be precooked bacon. Autumn waited on us and did a nice job. Will return

Yelp
Visited Soulshine pizza for the first time and had a great experience. We were greeted right away and got to pick if we'd prefer a table or a booth. We ordered cheesy garlic breadsticks, a plain cheese pizza and a Jacksonian. Everything tasted great. The pizza and cheese sticks were both thin crust that was nice and crunchy. Definitely recommend you try this place out! Inside has a great family friendly atmosphere and we were thanked and invited to return by one of the owners once we finished our meal. Great addition to berry farms.

Yelp
Crazy good pizza and I left with my soul shining so happy and I ate so much that I tooted on Kyle's grandma lol. Great bbq pizza and fire calzones, subscribe to rixziifn on YouTube

David B.

Yelp
Great customer service. Great good. Love the beer specials and the buffalo bill pizza.

Anne F.

Yelp
We had pizzas, but their menu was fairly extensive. Cauliflower crusts were thin, crispy and delicious. Toppings were pretty high-quality. Service was great. Place has a good vibe with live music most nights, karaoke on Thursday. Bar seating available.

Roman C.

Yelp
My fave pizza spot in Franklin so far (moved here within the last year, tried 3-4 places). Not my favorite ever (Round Table in CA, anyone?), but definitely good enough to be a repeat customer. Love dining in with my family of 4. Never crowded, great environment for young kids. Small but cool bar to catch a game with killer late night beer deal.

Lisa R.

Yelp
We've tried soul shine multiple times and have never had a great experience there. The staff food is always disappointing. Last night was our final effort! We ordered take out pizzas and all were mediocre at best. The cauliflower crust has an insanely overpriced up charge in comparison to other pizza places in town and the toppings were light. The garlic cheesy bread was actually hard to eat because it was so dry and even the two regular crust pizzas were stale seemingly. For what we paid for four small pizzas and an order of garlic cheese bread, we should have loved it! Instead, we received tiny servings of lightly topped stale textured pizzas at a premium price.

Yelp
NEW OWNERS AND GREAT FOOD!! This restaurant deserves higher than their average rating of 3.5 Keep in mind this location opened 7 years ago and it was not very good. I didn't like the pizza back then, flavorless and crust was like cardboard. The service wasn't very good either. We gave it another shot about 3 years ago. Was surprised their was no longer premium liquors, only beer and wine. We like to have cocktails with dinner. So we were officially done with Soulshine Pizza. I heard last month the location now had new owners. As well, premium liquors were back. My wife and I gave it a shot 3 weeks ago. We have been back 4 times already!! The owners are super cool and very welcoming. Staff is attentive. Drinks were on point. I ordered the Carnivore pizza and was very satisfied. Good quality meats and the crust was nice and tender. My wife got the Muffaletta sandwich and absolutely loved it. She just got the quarter size and it was more than enough. We went last night and they had Trivia which was fun. If you didn't like this place years ago like us, give it another try like we did. New owners have really made a difference and it's becoming our favorite place. John and Holly

Yelp
Service was very friendly, bathrooms clean, and best jerk chicken nachos ever! Must try!! Delicious pizza and salad as well as cheese bread!!

Keith K.

Yelp
Had a good meal and experience at Soulshine Pizza. Sam (the host) and Autumn (our server) took great care of our party. My pizza was very good and my wife enjoyed her meatballs and garlic bread. We came with a party of 6 and everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. After dinner, walked across the street for a Whit's Frozen Custard. If I lived in the area, I would probably eat at Soulshine and Whit's on a weekly basis! Will look forward to coming back next time I am in the area.

Yelp
Always go for the salads and the service but we don't go for the pizza. Nice vibe to inside.

Deserae S.

Yelp
We found this place on a whim. I am so glad we did. The pizza options were varied & fun. The gluten free crust was excellent. The only "ding"'would be all the food under our table but it is a concrete floor & everything else was plenty clean & we were there on a Friday night at dinner. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly.

John R.

Yelp
Sunday afternoon not busy hard to get any service. Only 3 people here. Help sleeping and resting.

Jarrett D.

Yelp
Good overall value for the price and the size of the pizza. They also have a lot of good options for salads and appetizers, etc. Staff is friendly and quick. Only negative I found was that any of the gluten free/cauliflower crust options are an $8 up charge. It's a standard 12" crust too, no bigger than any other GF crust you've had. I've never seen that in my life (usually $2-$4 extra for other GF pizzas). This is a chain so their menu prices are set at HQ, so I don't hold it against this store. Still though, a $12 personal pizza becoming a $20 pizza is pretty absurd. I have several GF family members, so we'll never go here for pizza. Otherwise, for people without any gluten sensitivity it's a solid place to eat - definitely would recommend.

Jason W.

Yelp
Prices have skyrocketed. Service has plummeted, food quality is lower than before. My waiter dropped off the food, never came back until it was time to deliver the bill. I would have ordered dessert, but was never given the chance. Salad was good, CCR was dry and overcooked. I used to work there. New ownership fired the original management staff and did themselves a disservice.

Alison N.

Yelp
Pizza was lacking - BIG time. Greek salad HUGE and super good. Would go back for the salad. But who goes to a pizza place for salad?

Austin n.

Yelp
Nothing terribly impressive. Everything was rather bland. Service wasn't great but you could tell the girl was spread thin. The place is run by teenagers so it's quite impressive that a few 16 year olds could keep the place running as well as they did. The pizza came out fast but it just wasn't good. I seriously thought the pepperoni was a Red Barron frozen pizza. $55 was waaaaaay overpriced for 2 mediums and some breadsticks. They forgot some stuff we ordered and removed it from the check when I let them know but could have easily been avoided if we were visited by our server more than once when we placed our order.

E P.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere but the pizza just tasted...off, and left an unpleasant aftertaste that was hard to get rid of. Both my wife and I agreed that the crust tasted premade with an odd flavor. The ingredients were the same old ingredients used by any pizza place, so no differentiation there. Just visiting my daughter in nearby Franklin so probably won't be back but, maybe go for the Mexican place next door?

Laura L.

Yelp
Great pizza place! We ordered a build your own cauliflower vegetable pizza and 2 Greek salads. Salads were loaded with black olives, red/green peppers, cucumbers and feta cheese. We carried out and they made sure we had plenty of the extras (i.e., Parmesan, red pepper and utensils/napkins). For 2 people we had left overs and could have split the side salad. My husband tried the feta vinaigrette which he said was too salty. I had blue cheese dressing and it was good. Pizza was excellent! Staff was friendly and it was easy to order in their site.

Melinda Y.

Yelp
Pizza is always good - consistently. Salads are large with good toppings and enough to share . Lunch specials during the week are the best deal . We eat there at least 2 - 3 times a mo

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
The pizza is really good but came with pricey surprises. $26 for a medium with two toppings is on the insane side. We had bill shock. I mean, the menu says $18 for a medium with up to 4 toppings and the gluten free crust is $3 extra. That still doesn't add up to $26. We were also asked upon arrival if some of our party could sit on the other side of the room because they couldn't fit 16 chairs at their long tables even though we called way ahead. They had us set up for 12 and added two chairs at the ends once we got there, and then thankfully we ended up with 15 and only had to squeeze one chair in, but I couldn't believe they even thought that would be okay to ask. They also don't list the pizza sizes in inches that I could find anywhere and there is a huge difference between small and medium. I think medium is a 12 inch, but small is like an 8 inch. It's really small. If you're going to try this place, don't try to get cute and create your own, there are apparently no price rules for create your own. The salads are enormous and look delicious though, I must say, and the sandwiches look great as well. Also, it isn't clear if the cauliflower crust is gluten free or not. It is a tasty cauli crust however. I don't think I will be back. The surprise $26 for the medium, and I may have just missed it but I didn't see the auto gratuity anywhere either, so that was another nice surprise. But I understood that one at least. Good but not $26 for a medium 2 topping good.

Nathan L.

Yelp
Fun pizza joint in Berry Farms development with a New Orleans twist. My family likes the "Kitchen Sink" and "Wild Bill" pizzas. In addition to traditional pizza you can get red beans and rice, Muffaletta, or Crawfish Bread. Parking can be difficult, but once parked there's a few other shops to walk to and explore after/before you eat. Note: If you order take out it comes with a warm cookie (or two). Not sure why they don't include that when you dine in.

Mari B.

Yelp
We ordered Delivery through their Delivery Dudes. Ordering was easy and they were running late but they were in communication with us. The wings were pretty good. We actually liked them better without the sauce it came with. We also had the Sicilian, which we normally like. We learned that we probably should have asked for the arugula on the side. By the time we received it, it was withered so we just removed it. Overall it was okay, probably order a different pizza next time that travels better.

Jared B.

Yelp
The location and ambience is great but the food is pretty average. The pizza and sandwiches are nothing special. The wings are pretty solid. The service is also pretty middling. I've had good service here and bad service depending on the day and if it's lunch or dinner.

Maggie B.

Yelp
had so many great experiences here... food and customer service is always amazing!!! i love soulshine!!!

Ken D.

Yelp
Driving into town from Indy, we saw the "Soulshine" sign on the highway and thought, "Pizza places that advertise on highway signs are never any good." We were wrong. Very wrong! This place is great! Wonderful open space with room for live music and plenty of family-friendly seating. The young lady singing Sheryl Crow songs was, well... better than Sheryl Crow. [But hey -- aren't they all?!] Our server was attentive without being overbearing and the pizza and wings we ordered were tasty. We ordered the Carnivore, but my better half doesn't like Canadian bacon -- no problem, they subbed a different topping without hassle. I almost didn't go here because some knucklehead reviewer said it could sub in for Chuck E Cheese pizza ... no way at all is this true. Some people just like to suck and be mean I guess, but this place is really good and prices are on point. A couple tips -- ask them to cook your pie an extra 3-4 minutes if you like some extra crunch on your crust, and also see if they'll drop those wings an extra 2-3 minutes. We used to live in Buffalo, NY and we're wing snobs -- the extra few minutes in the fryer would really help those wings taste a little more like true Buffalo wings. Our server was great -- can't remember her name [I'm old] or her face [she was wearing a mask], but she was a lefty and was very sweet. Give her a raise.

Tim C.

Yelp
Can be hit or miss on how well the pizza is made, but last several times they have been spot on. Favorite is Mississippi with the chicken. Salad is excellent with the feta dressing.

Brooklyn M.

Yelp
The Menu sucks , horrible atmosphere/ terrible decor pizza taste like cardboard, probably one of the worst restaurants in berry farms .

Mike B.

Yelp
I was a frequent guest of Soulshine when they had their midtown location. Sadly it closed. I had previously visited the Berry Farms location only once. My girlfriend wanted to try it for her birthday. So glad we did! First, the pizzas are amazing! Love the crust - thin, but not crispy like many thin-crust pizzas. Everything from sauce to toppings to cheese is great. We ordered 2 different pizzas - The Wild Bill and The CCR. Both were served quickly and were very hot and delicious. We also had the meatballs as an appetizer - also very tasty. Service was also great. Our server, Andrew, was very attentive and helpful. He offered suggestions and recommendations that were spot on. He kept drinks filled and made sure everything was as we needed it. The only drawback to this location is the noise level when bands are playing. Don't get me wrong, I love listening to live music while at restaurants. I am a supporter of local musicians, so no problems there. However, because of the set-up here, it is very loud. I found it difficult to communicate with my girlfriend and the server at times. Otherwise it's all great! So here's the bottom line. If you want some really delicious pizza, good beer selections and great service, the definitely check out Soulshine!

Daniel G.

Yelp
Decided to try a new Hampton Inn off Goose Creek Bypass and found this nice pizza joint. Fantastic pizza, good beer selection and great service. Restaurant is in cool urban multipurpose complex a few minutes down the road from one of the better Hampton Inns in Nash area.

Gunner W.

Yelp
The blonde kid with a grey hat and Vans was the server of the century. I know who I am nominating for president! He is a true example of going above and beyond. Not even Jesus himself could compare to his beautiful masterpiece of serving.

Angel C.

Yelp
Lots of great food! We have the garlic bread to start. My kids had the spaghetti and meatballs. My husband and i shared a pizza and Italian salad. The service was good and there were a lot of TVs to watch sports

John B.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch while out shopping for a golf cart. Pizza was good. Prices are a little high, but I get it because it's in an expensive area of Franklin. I'll definitely go back if I'm ever back in the area.

Nicole V.

Yelp
I should start by saying majority of our order was delicious. My family placed an order online, and there was no option for vegan cheese even though it is on the menu. I called immediately after and asked for the vegan cheese. Whoever I spoke to said she would tell the kitchen right away. I'm glad my mom checked in when she picked it up because the cheese had been completely left off. They gave us some vegan cheese in a cup and complimented us with two (non vegan) cookies. I had to microwave my pizza to melt the cheese once I got home. While I am thankful for the vegan options, it shouldn't have been this hard to get this pizza - especially for this price.

Cindy G.

Yelp
It's our second time eating here. We really like the pizza and Berry Farms. All the staff was great and the pizza was good. We also got the pizza really quickly. We probably won't be back bc they switched to Pepsi products. We don't drink cokes often but we personal like a coke with pizza and we just don't like the taste of Pepsi. The table next to us inquired why the stopped carrying coke as well. We then looked around and there were only three tables empty. Every table had water and two tables had beer.

John R.

Yelp
Great food clean restaurant. Nice change from the normal pizza. Calzones are excellent. Always friendly staff.

Elissa E.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere! i've tried the pizza and meatballs!! So delicious and a must try if you visit Berry Farms!

Doug S.

Yelp
I just received an email from a manager named Chase. The email let me know he has voided the charge to my card and offered a gift card so I would give them another chance. I am grateful for his gesture and admire his efforts to make a good customer experience from a bad one. I won't accept that gift card but I will give Soulshine another chance the next time I am in town. Simply based on his actions I am updating my review from one star to 4 stars. Thank you Chase. Never order online. Placed an order online. After it charged my card I get a message it would be ready in 2 hours. Really? 2 hours for a salad? No way to cancel the order So I drove over after stewing for 30 mins. When I got there was told I'd have to wait. Asked for a refund Was told that wasn't possible. Angrily walked out telling them to just forget it. Less than 5 minutes later got a voicemail that my food was ready. This after I spent another $24 for Chinese just around the corner from them.

Linnea W.

Yelp
We love this pizza!! It's the best we've found in the area. Atmosphere is good too. Waitstaff is friendly. The only thing I'd mention is on multiple occasions the outside seating is occupied by people not eating just nursing a beer for hours.... Can be a bit frustrating when waiting for a table.

Bianca B.

Yelp
I order the southern tamales and not to crazy about it . Ground beef in Tamales not my thing. But the boss Hogg pizza was delicious and the cheesy bread was delicious as well

Keith L.

Yelp
A fun neighborhood restaurant and bar in the Berry Farm community. Close to the interstate. Can accommodate large parties.
