"Upside, the slice shop with several locations around the city, is flipping its adjoining Soho soft serve shop, Softside, into Soupside for the winter. Lailee Taghdisi (alum of Sweetgreen and Dig) has teamed up with the pizzeria to help transform the storefront. Soupside launched on November 24, with soups such as potato leek, tomato, and minestrone. It will remain that way until April, and throughout that time will host various rotating chefs — like Andy Baraghani — with proceeds going to the pop-up’s charity of choice." - Emma Orlow

This is great soup. I got the potato leek and my roommate got the tomato, both are so good. The focaccia side bread is to die for and the guy behind the counter was awesome and so nice!! Highly recommend. Going back soon to try other flavors for sure — cheered me up on this cold day 😊

Exactly what we needed. Delicious hot soup for the Winter. You’re feeling skinny? Ok bone broth. You want to get cozy? Ok Minestrone. Sunday binge? Tomato soup and a slice of cheese from the neighboring Upside pizza.

Soupside is an unbelievable spot to grab a solid lunch on the go. Tasty Tomato is my go to, but I’m typically not even a Minestrone fan but my sister got it once and I tried it and it really blew me away. People are kind and the service is quick - it’s really the kinda place that everyone should have in their back pocket for when you need something quick and delicious. I feel truly lucky to have it. Run, don’t walk my friends.

I have tried several soups this cold winter and find them all really hardy. I like that they have the classics and 1 soup on rotation each week. All the staff has been really cool and nice when I go. The only feedback I would give is maybe add chicken noodle or broccoli cheddar to the mix please.

Soup! What a perfect spot for an easy, tasty, warm bite to eat in Soho. Selfishly so excited to have this near my work, but great for any shoppers or passersby! Genuinely yummy, hearty, and a really cute spot. The potato and leek was really tasty, but the focaccia was a sleeper hit. Perfect together. Can't wait to try more!

Soupside is an incredible addition to Soho, filling a much needed niche for convenient soup on the go! It's apparent that they use fresh ingredients as their soup is exceptional. My personal favorite is the tomato soup.

portions are really small…half of mine was just broth…soup is fine but not worth the price imo
