Google
Came here before a protest on a weekend in the summer. Not too crowded at all. Easy to scan and order at the table. It allows you to order as a table and then split the bill after. The chicken and pork soup dumplings were delicious! And I loved my strawberry mango bubble tea. We also got the chicken and chive dumplings which were also good. A very chill and clean atmosphere. I’ll be back again!

Google
Omg this place is my new spot. Delicious, exotic, comfort food! It felt so good to eat. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Extensive Boba Tea menu. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes and teas. The spring rolls had a garlic kick and the ginger and chili oil was a delicious addition. Good service, clean atmosphere. I can’t wait to get hungry again and go back!

If you’re looking for some delicious fast casual Chinese cuisine, look no further! Their noodle dishes are great, and their soup dumplings are even better. The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, with plenty of seating for small and large crowds.

Google
Visited DC on a chilly, rainy day and was craving something warm—this spot was such a pleasant surprise! The noodle soup was absolutely delicious, with perfectly chewy noodles. The dumpling soup was flavorful, and the chicken wontons were a standout—so tasty! Even the hot tea hit the spot. The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the place itself is clean, cozy, and inviting. Highly recommend!

Google
Went in for a drink. Ordered from a kiosk. The screen was very sensitive so it took a while to get our order in. One in our part “accidentally” added red bean into her drink which she thought was a total mistake but it looks like she added it on the Kiosk. The drinks were prepared in cute cups and were very tasty (minus the red bean). The matcha latte was very sweet but tasted great. The restaurant is very cute and looked very clean.

Google
Good location& great service! One day in Washington DC, we visited this restaurant and tried drinks and a few dishes. PS. - Share on social media to get 10% OFF - No table for drinks only, just a bar - same area for Togo waiting area.

Google
Prior to dinner at Mallard, Nicole and I had the perfect dumpling and boba combo at Soupy Dumpling and Fancy Cuppa Bubble Tea! The soupy dumplings were packed with rich, savory broth, while the pan-fried pork buns had the perfect balance of crispiness and juiciness. To pair, we grabbed refreshing drinks—Nicole enjoyed a Thai Iced Tea, while I went for a Strawberry Fruit Tea with Lychee Jelly, which was both fruity and floral with the perfect amount of sweetness. Absolute comfort in every bite and sip!

Yelp
Reasonable prices and tasty food. They accept reservations for groups of 10 people. Great service

Yelp
What a fun experience! On the same block as my daughter's chorus practices, she always asks if we can go inside. Tonight, we did and she loved it. First of all, the space is big with plenty of seating. Service is friendly. But the highlight for my daughter was the robot that transports takeout bags from the back to the front. To eat, we ordered the cucumber salad, pork soup dumplings, fried pork dumplings, and a mix of soup dumplings. We devoured them all. The broth in the dumpling is full of flavor!

Yelp
Super friendly staff, you can order a drink and go from the counter or sit down and order from the QR code. They bring you plates and water and sometimes use the robot to help deliver. Great decor and you can tell they put quite a bit of thought into this place. It was a little busy on a Sunday morning. The boba was good, a great matcha and good value for the price as well. Matcha was not too sweet and boba was made fresh that day and cooked really well. The mapo tofu was really good and I liked that they had the condiments on the table so you did not need to ask for anything from the servers. The veggie soup ended up being tomato based so not my favorite and wish it was a clear broth. Took quite a bit of doctoring to make it work for us. Service and food came super quick and so pleasant.

Yelp
I was actually pleasantly surprised with Soupy Dumpling & Boba! We were craving for some XLBs, and was a bit nervous in trying this place out, but we're glad that we did! We came here on a dreary day, and, when you walk-in, you could order from the kiosk for a to-go order, or actually dine-in. We decided to dine-in, and there's a QR code at each table, in which you still order from their online menu. We tried: +the Spicy Cucumber Salad - the cucumber slices were fresh and crunchy, and the chili oil dressing was very spicy +the Spicy Wonton in Chili Oil - filled with pork - this was enjoyed by the hubs +the Spicy Chicken Wonton in Chili Oil - these were okay; it definitely has a lot of chicken filling within, which I thought was a tad too much +the Golden Soup Chicken Wonton - the broth could be considered refreshing; definitely not an 'appetizer' size, but more of a regular serving that could easily be shared between 2-3 people! +the Pork Soup Dumplings - the hubs found these to be pretty good; skin kept ripping, though, so there could be a preparation issue +and, the Chicken Soup Dumplings - skin was a little thicker on these, and there was actually a lot of soup, considering these were filled with chicken We also ordered some drinks: +the Kumquat Lemon Refresher +and, the Strawberry Smoothie Both drinks were refreshing and well-made. Staff were pretty friendly; once you place your order, your items come out as soon as they are ready. Payment is then accepted when you are finished. Limited and metered street parking can be found in the area. +tasty XLBs +friendly service +kiosk/QR ordering +to-go and dine-in option available +limited and metered street parking in the area

Yelp
Probably my favorite spot in DC to get dumplings! It's a casual spot with a big menu and really nice service where the food comes out quickly. You really can't go wrong with anything you order but Truffle and Pork soup dumplings, Crab and Pork soup dumplings, and Pork and Chive pan fried dumplings are a must get! They do seem to have rotating specials when it comes to the dumplings too, so there's always something new to try! They also have AMAZING tea, smoothies, and boba. The Honeydew Smoothie was our favorite! Overall, I love this spot. It's a must go to local place in DC with amazing food!

Yelp
Soup dumplings AND boba? I'm there! They have a variety of soup dumplings on the menu plus other dishes as well though let's be honest, with a name like Soupy Dumplings you know I was only looking at the soup dumplings! I tried the crab and scallop ones mostly to see if I could taste a difference. Flavor wise they were very similar which worked out because they tasted amazing! Definitely hit the spot with the colder weather. I also ordered a strawberry black tea with boba - I appreciated that they give you options for the tea base (green, black, oolong) since I tend to prefer black or oolong over green tea. It paired nicely with the dumplings too!

Yelp
Loved this spot in Logan circle. Inside is clean and fresh and calm atmosphere. We tried the 6 different dumplings and I'm glad we did. It was great trying all the different flavors. Our server was so cute and kind and they even have a robot server too.

Yelp
Yummy Boba, great service robot waiter Looked very cool, they had floating noodles in the right corner of the building. The inside is really cozy

Yelp
We popped in here for a quick bite. The ambiance is nice and there is plenty of seating. We tried the chicken soup dumplings, the spicy chicken wontons and some bubble teas. Everything was great!

Yelp
This place is great! Just the name... they had me at "soupy". I tried this place for dinner with a friend, and we both enjoyed our meal a lot. It's so bright inside and you will see this beautiful Chinese wall art. You scan a code to look at the menu and order from the table. I actually like this system, that way we can order and start eating quickly. Our food didn't even take 10 minutes. I had the noodle dish with minced pork and Bok choy. It was slightly spicy and addicting. The dumplings were soupy... and so delicious. It's a real deal. 10/10 !
google avatar

Yelp
Super pleasant staff, very clean and beautiful interior. Unfortunately I disliked the soupy dumplings. Personally all I could taste was oyster sauce and it overpowered all other flavors. The cucumber kimchi was perfect- spicy and crunchy. They do spears instead of slices, which is great.

Yelp
I would return for a quick bite / takeout. Fast service and decent food. I would not recommend the soup dumplings (ironic as that's their name) bc the bottom straight fell off when we tried to pick it up and all the soup spilled out Thought the dry noodles were good, and their soup noodles could use a tad bit more flavor. Overall decent choice if you want something simple and quick

Yelp
Came here for some late night dumplings and tea! We had a group of 6 with no reservation and they welcomed us in and sat us right away. It's a super bright restaurant and a robot helps to deliver the food - which was really cool. We ordered a little bit of everything from ramen to dumplings and everything was really tasty. The tea was fine, but a little sweet. The dumplings were a little thicker than we normally have, but still really good. The chili oil was something I will remember - SO good! Would definitely come back to try again!
google avatar

Nina D.

Yelp
The food was okay. I ordered food for delivery via DoorDash. By the time my dumplings got here, all of the soup had left the dumplings. I was not really impressed but maybe I will give it a second chance. I got the soup dumpling tasting dish, pork buns, chili chicken wontons, none were super impressive but again maybe will try again.

Yelp
I ordered some Pork Buns here on a Monday afternoon around lunch time. It wasn't very busy, and seating was easy. Water comes out in a cute teapot, and you can order via a QR code. It took a little while for the food to come out, considering how few people were in the restaurant at the time, but it was worth it. The pork buns weren't too "doughy" or "bready"--the texture was good, and it was flavorful with a good ratio to the amount of meat in the bun. I'd go back with a couple more people to sample some other things!

Yelp
Excellent flavor and amount of soup. Probably the closest to Joe's Shanghai (NYC, my gold standard) that you can get in the DMV, and I've tried a lot. Compared to Joe's, I think the soup in these isn't quite as fatty, and the wrappers are thinner (a couple did break and leak when I picked them up, not a problem I have at Joe's), so these soup dumplings are a bit lighter, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I was somewhat surprised the restaurant is a nice sit-down place (very classic decoration style for how a nice restaurant would look in China, I think), but they were chill about me just getting an order of dumplings (I came at an off hour). My favorite soup dumplings in the DMV! Can't wait to come again and bring my husband and friends.

Yelp
One of the prettiest and cutest interior design I've seen in a while. I really like the blue and white color theme throughout the restaurant and white marbling. Very spacious and lots of tables for groups to dine. This place reminds me a lot of Dough Zone and Din Tai Fung because they specialize in soup dumplings. Food is served to your table by these cute robots. The spicy beef noodles is very similar to the Vietnamese beef stew dish, bò kho. I thought it was flavorful and wasn't too spicy. The shrimp fried rice was okay, a little bland. We also ordered the crab meat and pork soup dumplings. The pork soup dumpling was good but I didn't really like the crab soup dumplings. Spicy wonton in chili oil was tasty and not that spicy. Not pictured but we also ordered the pan fried baos. It was just alright, I think the pan fried Q baos from Dough Zone are better. Friendly service and cute spot to try if you love Asian food like soup dumplings and noodles.
google avatar

Yelp
Despite the place being called soupy dumplings the soup dumplings were not my favorite. The dumpling wrapper was pretty thin so every time i went to pick one up all the soup would fall out. I also dont think the broth or the meat inside was that flavorful. However, I did order the spicy pork wontons and those were very yummy. The restaurant itself is very elegant spacious and clean with friendly workers. The boba was also very good.

Yelp
This is a new Chinese spot in DC and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed everything that I ordered! The soup dumplings were juicy and flavorful, and the skin held well. The spicy wontons in chili oil was my favorite dish, followed by the spicy cucumber salad - vinegary and sweet. The beef in the noodle soup was incredibly tender and fell apart beautifully and the noodle texture was excellent. Nothing labeled "spicy" was actually ~that~ spicy by my personal standards. There is a delicious chili oil on each table that you can add to your food though. Ordering is done by scanning QR codes at each table with your phone. The service was really fast and friendly! Didn't get the boba this time but based on everything else, it seems promising.

Yelp
I work nearby and really had a hankering for ramen...and of course I ended up getting soup dumplings because they have a $17 sampler with some super fun flavors. DC's dim sum game is weak in general, so to see this place pop up recently was a great surprise. I ended up dining in, where they have the scan to order at the table. I really liked the general ambiance--it's very DC but I can see the younger crowds from the universities coming here for dinner. I got the Lucky Six and honestly, they were all bangers. I love that they give you black vinegar, chili oil, and soy sauce at the table, and that cucumber water was such a nice touch. They're a light touch restaurant on service as most are these days, but you can flag someone down if you really need anything. Overall, a great welcome to the neighborhood and I'll totally get ramen next time like I planned

Yelp
Nice open restaurant with good seating for various sized groups. Staff greet you soon as you come in! Love the kiosks and code so you can easily order food. We loved the cat robot that delivered the food to the tables!! The tables are stocked with plenty Napkins, chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar. We decided to try the Lucky six soup dumplings ( a sampler of all the flavors), the pan fried dumplings, the pork and shrimp soup dumplings, spicy beef Noodle soup, and two drinks Honey black tea and Mango passion tea. The pan-fried dumplings were delicious alome and with the dipping sauce! Great pork and shrimp flanlvor throughout. The soup dumplings!!!!! Also flavorful and they held up well. The beef Noodle soup has some spice but not overly spicy it was perfect. The broth was so flavorful. The veggies, cilantro, everything came together well. The beef was nice and tender. Noodles fresh and perfect. We were provided some ginger with our 2nd set of dumplings and added to the soup just took the flavor up a notch!!!!! The drinks were great with perfect sweetness. The cups the tea came in were cute!

Yelp
OVERALL: great dumplings, awesome boba, cute roboserver, and great staff FOOD: I went to the venue and ordered to-go. I asked for recommendations and was told to try the lucky 7, which has one dumpling from each of their specialty dumpling orders. I ordered to go and it was packed in a great container. The boba was also good and huge. VENUE: pretty big horizontally.

Yelp
Soupy Dumpling opened recently in a prime spot along 14th St. Unfortunately, the location seems to be the only thing that they've managed to figure out. I found myself confused by their setup. As you enter, you're greeted with a choice: do you order from the kiosk on the left, or do you open the second door into the restaurant? Once inside, do you go up to the counter on the left, or wait awkwardly for a server on the right? Some may call the combination of soup dumplings and boba tea innovative, but to me it just felt slightly off. The food was close to rescuing this place. Each dumpling had a very tasty filling - they don't skimp! The broth was quite good as well, but you'd be lucky to get more than one or two with broth, since most of the dumplings tore open on contact. I've eaten my fair share of soup dumplings, so I don't think it was my (lack of ) technique, but you never know. Also, what is up with the robot server? Since a human server has to follow right behind it, I'm not sure what it accomplishes. In any case, I could see this place being worth a quick stop for some boba, but it's just not for me. I hope to be proven wrong!

Yelp
This restaurant is super cute, with a to-go/drink station at the front and a spacious restaurant behind. My friends and I ordered their pork soup dumplings, spicy beef noodle soup, zajian mian, and potatoe dish (fries). Their soup dumplings were decent! 6 for $12 isn't terrible but most restaurants I've been to usually serve them by 8. Their noodle dishes were also solid. I thought it was cute they name fries "fried potato pieces" instead of just fries, but you can skip on those. The seasoning didn't pair well with the potatoe and it ended up being pretty plain. We also ordered a few of their bubble teas. All in all, I had a good time at this place! They food comes out quickly and the staff is super friendly.

Yelp
I saw this place on TikTok and HAD to try it. It did not disappoint. The ordering was super easy through the QR code so it was easy to keep adding food to your order as you went. Everything was quick and the decor and art were so pretty. The spicy pork noodles were hands down my favorite item we tried. So flavorful and didn't leave me feeling super oily. The soup dumplings were also delicious, I love that they give you the choice to try one of each. Now that I know I love the chicken soup and the black truffle I'll be sure to order those next time. The pot stickers were good, the buns were mid, but the soup dumplings and fresh noodle soup is already making me want to go back. Please open a spot in Maryland!!!

Yelp
This is a new restaurant on 14th in the U street corridor where our older daughter lives and we stay there often while visiting. We went for a later dinner on a nice Saturday night and it was vibrant and busy but we were seated fast. Really nice staff obviously working hard to please. Although we were seated next to the main counter and an employee was let's say eating something much different from a fast food place near us and I had fun teasing her about it. She was fun and I mentioned how it is much better to have something different when you work at a restaurant and eat that food all the time. The pickled cucumber was slightly spicy, juicy, and really tasty/refreshing. I finished it for our table after we ate our mains. The beef noodle soup was quite good and we all enjoyed it. Not the best ever from my extensive experience but really well executed! I love dim sum and eat it regularly but my family is into the soup dumpling way more than I. This is an anchor dish here obviously and they do it quite well and I'd rather go here than to Din chaching dung! The dumplings were served hot, soupy, and pretty tasty. Again not the best ever but very reliably good it seemed . We really enjoyed that and the ladies enjoyed their boba drink. I'd definitely be going back or for takeout within walking distance!!

Yelp
I was really hoping to get served by the robo-cat, but not this time. After we scanned a QR code at our table and ordered online, human servers brought some really good dishes. We got the regular soupy dumplings, Chengdu Zajiang noodles, steam egg and minced pork, pan fried pork buns, and the pan fried shrimp dumplings. The fillings for each of the dumplings and buns were delicious. The pan fried items had a nice crisp on the bottom. It's really rare to find a restaurant that serves steam egg, so I ordered it here and was not disappointed. I've never had it topped with pork, but it was a good combination. The zajiang noodles were also very good. I ordered a green milk tea with boba. At 50% sweetness, I thought it was perfect and they put in lots of boba. For a Wednesday night and it being a new business, the place was nearly packed with customers. This area is hungry for good Asian food! Maybe that contributed to a little bit of a wait for the food. I think it was still worth it. The interior is clean and bright. Though because of the amount of people in there it was a little loud.

Yelp
I ordered takeout via DoorDash and honestly I had no expectations because it usually takes a while for them to deliver regardless of if you do express delivery or not. BUT! Soupy Dumpling & Fancy Cuppa Boba Tea does a great job at packaging takeout orders. I ordered the Spicy Beef Noodles, Spicy Wonton in Chili Oil, Truffle & Pork Soup Dumplings, Pan-Fried Pork and Chive Dumplings, Lucky Six Soup Dumplings, and the Mango Passion Fruit Refresher! Everything was still hot when it arrived, nothing spilled, and everything was delicious. Especially loved the Spicy Beef Noodles and the Lucky Six Soup Dumplings! It came with utensils and a take out menu where I learned the prices are definitely lower in restaurant, I'll definitely be there soon in person to get the full experience

Yelp
First day. It's finally open! I like the modern, spacious vibes of the space. There's a good mix of seating for parties of 1-6 easily if opting to dine-in. I enjoyed the original soup dumplings, spicy wontons, and beef noodle soup. The coconut smoothie was refreshing. Staff were friendly. The cat robot server was also fun, though I wonder how it'll work when it gets more crowded. Can't wait to return and try more things on the menu.

Yelp
This is good but a bit pricy for what you get. Solid dumplings - fried and steamed, but just not a deal or over the top delicious to make me want to come back just yet. I think the option to try all the flavors is the best. I think this is probably more of a 3 and a half
google avatar

Letitia L.

Yelp
Went back a second time for lunch. Dishes we chose were even better! Spicy beef short rib side order was delicious!! Great flavor and very tender. Brown sugar rice cakes are a delight! Next time I will wait for dessert to put that order in. Noodles were chewy and fresh (just like last time). Shrimp was delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Exceptionally delicious Chinese food! Second time back here and this time for legit food. The last time was to try out their boba. The vibes are immaculate and resemble a resto in mainland China with a robot server. The staff are nice and attentive and would loge to come back agajn to try other dishes!

Yelp
Was looking for a dumpling place and came across the spot. They had great reviews and I was really eager to try. The interior is beautiful very clean and spacious. The service was quick. The soup dumplings were freshly made and were delicious. I was super full having six dumplings definitely if you're in the city area

Yelp
Delicious! Great service. Clean and bright. Loved the crisp and lovely decor. The menu isnt too big, meaning that they focus on quality.

Yelp
I love the pork soup dumplings, crap soup dumplings, and sheng jian bao. I also love the no sugar boba milk tea.

Yelp
Delicious - their Golden Wonton Soup is decadent! Just the thing on a cold day, warm day - any day. And don't sleep on their soup dumpling.

Yelp
Beef noodle soup is among the best I've had. Fair prices, clean, prompt and great service.

Yelp
Food: I ordered a bubble tea. Once I left, I realized that it wasn't sweet. I took it back and asked for a new drink. The server tried to tell me that it was sweet, but then after conferring with colleagues, homie realized that it had not been sweetened at all and that I was right. Who knew?! So then they say that they will add sweetener to it, but they aren't actually remaking the new drink. I see another server using the straw that was in my drink to stir the sweetener. Now I have no idea how recently those gloves have been on, and I'm just getting the ick. So I insist that they remake it, because why wouldn't you just make it fresh? And then I try the drink again. 100% sweet means that there is only a hint of sugar. I love boba and I can tell you one thing: this was not sweet. The third server was good and checked to make sure things were okay. But by this time, I'm tired and I cut my losses and go. Ambiance: if you are only ordering to go, you have to stand in this tiny foyer. Loud Spanish music is playing. This is fine. You'll need the music to make you forget that you're waiting in a tiny foyer while customers who are dining in come and go in front of you. For whatever reason, this establishment doesn't do to-go orders inside the restaurant proper. Not a big deal, but something to know. Maybe I came in on an off-day, but I will say this: I haven't worked so hard for bubble tea in my life.

Holly K.

Yelp
The food is amazing and there's a robot cat that delivers your food. This place is clean, inexpensive, large menu, and pleasant staff. Boba was amazing as well. Couldn't say enough about this place truly awesome.

Yelp
Just grabbed Carryout by ordering at the kiosk but the dumplings and bao were fantastically delicious. Didn't have much interaction with staff but all seemed friendly and attentive while I was sitting and waiting for my food to be prepared. My daughter loved pics of the cat robot that brings the Carryout orders up to the front.

Yelp
if you thought for one second my first soup dumpling was going to be from the frozen aisle at Trader Joe's you are mistaken. - this place could be michelin starred and I would still think it has the wackiest name ever, I'm sorry soup dump hot cups of bubbles cafe, I will not remember your name - here we have the lucky 6, an order that gives you the chance to try every soup dumpling on the menu. I love it. and of course a full order of pork soup dumplings - the crab and pork dumpling & scallop and pork dumpling made me a little nervous but I think pork was just added for volume as they tasted of strictly seafood (which I wish they were) and none of these made me grimace. definitely ~~big flavors~~ which is exactly what I wanted. - the best one was the pork truffle, the sweet meaty pork was complimented by the perfect twinge of truffle I may come back for a full order of just these - the appetizers were the gorgeous fluffy flavorful pork buns. the sauce they came with was meh but at the table you have soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil to make your own creation. this is incredible - my companion adored the spicy wontons and named the star of the meal so jot that one down! - ambience is a little mall-esque. very clean but feels as though it should be serving mall food court level food. there is a robot thing that brings takeout to the door but we had an actual server bring food and ordered through a QR code.

Yelp
overall 3.5 - food is decent, quick, and you can easily walk in and sit down here (pretty large inside). Everything is ordered on the phone and brought out to your table. Favorite dishes - chengdu noodles (amazing), pan fried dumplings (good taste and have the lace) The soup dumplings are ok - flavor is decent but they do not hold in the least. the scallop ones I wouldn't get again, but crab pork were good The spicy potato snack looks like fries but they have 0 texture - would skip those. The spicy cucumber salad have 0 spice, they're basically pickles. the pan fried buns were very doughy with not much filling. and not sure how they cooked the steamed veggies (bok choy) but it came out so dry and wilty.

Yelp
Man. I was so excited to try these. An influencer on instagram posted about this place and raved about how good it was. I'm obsessed with soup dumplings. I ordered the pork dumplings and the variety one that came with a different colors (truffle, etc.) when I tell you, I was highly disappointed, I couldn't even swallow it. I had to spit each one out. Yes I tried each one because I was in such disbelief. That's how bad it tasted. I'm not sure if I just got a not so great batch for both of my orders, but I was highly disappointed. It also tasted sour in a way. I also got the Thai tea and unfortunately, that tasted like water. I really wanted to give these soup dumplings a fighting chance by trying each one of them and it was so bad unfortunately. I spent $42 and was genuinely disappointed. :(

Yelp
Love this new Chinese spot with dumplings, noodles, and boba! The interior is super clean and modern looking with lots of tables. I was looking forward to trying the pan-fried pork buns, but unfortunately they were already sold out, so I decided to try the spicy wontons in chili oil instead, along with the Chengdu zajiang noodles and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings were good - the wrapper was pretty thin and they were filled with soup, and I also thought they were a decent size considering the price. I think the portion for the noodles was a bit small for $17 but it was still pretty filling, and they tasted amazing with a small dash of black vinegar. The noodles were also super long which is generally a good thing but made it a bit hard to share. I actually really enjoyed the spicy wontons, possibly because I had less expectations for them going in, but the wrapper was nice and thin and I thought they were seasoned perfectly (unlike some other times I've had it where the taste of the chili oil overpowered the taste of the wontons). The service was great as well and I think it's a great option for a weekday lunch, as it's pretty quick and less crowded. Would love to come back and try the pan fried pork buns, as well as their boba!

Yelp
Very delicious. We love the beef noodle soup, seaweed salad and steam egg. I would say this is one of the best Asian restaurants I have ever had in DC. Love.

Yelp
Overall my experience was pretty disappointing, and the bubble tea was mid at best. I wouldn't come back. I think some of these high star reviews may have been given a perk or incentivized to leave positive reviews. Both the soup dumplings and high rated reviews are fishy to me. I love the cold cucumber tap water provided with table service. Although the cucumber appetizer looked unseasoned in the photos, it was a pretty large portion and had a decent taste. I was less impressed by the boba milk tea (I had a black tea brown sugar tea and it was so watered down tasting.) They reloaded a giant bag of powder non dairy creamer into the machine, so this may be why. I prefer the fresh brewed tea with real ingredients rather than powdered drinks. The place is clean and very concerned about cleaning , so much so that I was unable to enjoy my meal. The busser kept trying to refill the containers while I was using them and other servers were crawling around on the floor around me scrubbing table bases amongst other areas. I have worked in restaurants and know how important side work is to go home but not to the point that it makes you feel uncomfortable to even eat there. The server recommended the pork buns over the pork dumplings. I think the potstickers would have been better. The dumpling dough was tough and thick walled. I didn't find it tasty. The soup dumplings were mediocre - not the best or worst. My favorite was the classic pork, followed by gourd luffa (green), then maybe the crab/ pork, chicken, and least favorite was scallop and truffle. Although I like both these tastes, they were not my favorite soup dumping and all of the seafood dumplings tasted very fishy to me.
