"If you keep a detailed spreadsheet of nearby bagel options, go ahead and add Sour Seed Bagels to it. This little Midtown spot is serving really good sourdough bagels with a crispy crust and excellent toppings. They have bagel standards, like a classic lox and a creamy egg salad. But they also have more creative options, like smoked river trout and the sweet and salty, which comes with tahini, smashed berries, honey, and salt. Whatever you get, order it with preserved lemon and Calabrian chili schmear, which has a perfect heat and acidity from the lemon. There's not much to the interior. It's mostly a takeout spot, although there are a few tables outside. It can get crowded on the weekends, so try to come early. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings Sour" - Ryan Pfeffer

Overall a pleasant experience. I must praise the atmosphere of this place! Beautiful, simple and chic. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I noticed another waiter checking the wine glasses to make sure they were spotless before placing them on the table. The menu had good options and we opted for the Nachos and truffle pizza. Aside from the raw cauliflower on the Nachos, they were flavorful. The pizza crust had a perfect crunch and with a little salt, the toppings were delicious. Could have done without the dessert though, but they had good options (especially gluten free).

I’ve eaten at Thatch multiple times and it’s always delish! Today I was there for brunch and it did not disappoint. I met a friend and we decided to order a few dishes and share everything. I kinda wish we had more people with us, so we could’ve ordered more food and tasted more deliciousness. 😆 So let me know if you need more mouths at your table when you go to Thatch, I’ll happily eat there anytime! Our service was incredible too. Loved our waitress - she made excellent recommendations and she was very attentive.

Really great experience! My son is vegan, and I’m trying to be vegan to lower my cholesterol. My son suggested we have lunch at Thatch. This was our first time visiting the restaurant. The atmosphere is really clean, cool, hip, and relaxing. I loved the decor. The menu is fairly big, so it was hard to choose. We settled on the grilled artichokes to share, and I got the falafel bowl, while my son got the crispy “chicken” sandwich. Everything was very tasty! We didn’t have any leftovers. It was a bit pricey. About $60 for lunch for 2, before tip. But it was worth it and we’ll definitely be back soon.

Delicious restaurant & experience. My girlfriend is an architect and interior designer and couldn’t get over the design. What a way to set the scene for the most epic pizza ever. Delicious vegan pizza, salad, juices and great service.

No one greeted at the door, the place was empty and had to approach someone at the counter that I wanted to be seated. The chef was having a chat with the manager and didn’t even bother to ask if I needed help. I got seated. Ordered ginger fix. It took a while to get a refill of water, after 3 times the waitress realized it was best to leave the bottle at the table. The Buddha Bowl was good, interesting, lots of flavor, filling and delicious; the same could be said of the Pad Thai ( the waitress stated it has a kick but didn’t feel anything - I do like very spicy foods). The Pad Thai was enjoyable, clean and tasty. The waitress forgot to tell us that the tip is included and it’s something it’s should be done as an etiquette. Will order take out but not coming back to a place that is not willing to go the extra mile for a client in the middle of a pandemic.

even as a non-vegan, thatch was incredible. we loved the flavors of every dish and we could not stop eating until we were stuffed. the cacio e pepe kelp noodle is delicious & the kung pao tofu is spicy & amazing. the pizza crust was really yummy, but we didn't love the cheese on the spicy pepperoni. my friend had the truffle pizza before and said that the cheese was better (more like ricotta). the key lime mousse was tasty and perfect way to finish the meal! i wish we had more room in our stomach...

Honestly one of he better plant based restaurants I've been to, from the vibe and decor to the drinks being strong and feeling healthy to lol. Cool staff, food amazing (prices are as you'd expect any pant based lace 🙄, especially in the area) definitely.enjoy this place.
