La Source has been our favourite restaurant in St Gervais for many years, both for special occasions and for nights out with friends. The decor and ambience is comfortable, welcoming and beautifully done. The service is warm and very professional and the food is outstanding. For us, it is the perfect combination of modern, fresh, french food with a twist, coupled with perfect little additions from the chef such as cherry & rosemary sorbet, or pops of yuzu gel with seafood. The menu changes seasonally, matched by a great range of wines. Highly recommend°

La Source is an absolute gem of a restaurant. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the attention to detail was incredible in every way. Every dish felt thoughtful and beautifully executed, making the whole meal feel truly special. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning — an amazing dining experience all round.

Our favourite restaurant. Came here for our engagement meal. We tried the 6 course taster meal, every course was delicious. With the wine pairing also, this was probably my favourite meal out ever and very reasonably priced. Service excellent, if you are in the area book here.

This is our go-to restaurant everytime we are in Saint Gervais-le bains. The ambiance is very modern and chic. The service is always outstanding. Menu changes depends on the season, which by the way is by QR Code. The wine list is also remarkable. Reasonable price and really good food. Presentation and taste quality. Highly recommended!

A winter and summer favourite of ours. Au Comptoir Alpin doesn’t disappoint. The service has been consistent with each visit. The staff are friendly, efficient and warm. The decor is chic. The concept is simple but they deliver delicious well chosen produce and a very nice selection of wine. We recommend the beer fondue which happens to be the most divine fondue we have ever eaten and after 8 years in Switzerland/France and a lot of fondue, that says a lot.

An absolutely wonderful dining experience. In our view this is the best restaurant in Saint Gervais les Bains. The food is very, very good. Service is the same and this reflects the hard work and effort applied by the staff. We would recommend this place to anyone. The menu is also available in English.

I hesitate because I don't want to make this restaurant even more popular thanit already is! We had the best meal I've had for several years. Menu varied, interesting and excellently prepared and presented. We will be back!
