Where to celebrate Easter dinner or brunch in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Sourdough Café, located at both Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Boulder, will offer an Easter special of apple and sage-stuffed pork loin served with au gratin potatoes, chef’s vegetables, and a choice of soup or salad to start, priced at $13 for True Rewards members." - Susan Stapleton

I ordered the Monday Blue Plate special: Oven Roasted Meatloaf. While the presentation was good, the food was horrible. The meatloaf was loaded with chopped onions which were half cooked. And why top it with BBQ sauce instead of ketchup? Wrong choice. The mashed potatoes were bland, and the brown gravy left a strange chemical aftertaste. Not recommended.

SERVICE AND Food are excellent! Great Portion size, wine only $3/ glass. Got the Steak & Shrimp advertised on giant sign out front for $12.99 w/out a card needed and it's actually great! Fried Shrimp perfectly cooked, light and crispy. Got a side salad for $3 extra and plenty of leftovers to take home! Large portion of tasty fries which are also good!

I recently visited the restaurant with my daughter and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young woman named Jasmine at the front desk. From the start, her demeanor came off as rude and unprofessional. While taking my order, she didn’t ask for my name, which led to a frustrating 45-minute wait for a simple turkey club. When I finally received the food, it was cold. The fries were cold, the bread was soggy, and the tomato was mushy—definitely not the quality I expected, especially after waiting so long. To make matters worse, before handing me the bag, Jasmine was swinging it back and forth like it was a purse. It felt careless and disrespectful. I spent over $200 here with my family, expecting good service and food. I understand that anyone can have a rough day, but customer service should always remain professional. This experience was disappointing, and I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve training and service quality.

The staffs are very friendly and courteous. Very attentive. 👍 Very clean, ambience is very relax setting. Food is good and fast service. Rose was attentive and also Susan. Super friendly. Great place to eat breakfast for locals. They have specials everyday.

We have been coming here for about a year and we have never had a bad experience. The food and portions are generously delicious. The wait staff is ALWAYS friendly and patient, i have two kids and I've never had one get impatient with their questions. Today my daughter and i shared the beef taco salad and pictured is the leftovers after we were both full. The meat was SO GOOD well seasoned and not chewey. Highly recommend!

Google
My Club sandwich was good, but it looks like they peeled off a brick of meat and placed it on the cheese. My husband's Turkey melt looks like they took more time with it. Our waitress was Super nice!! My soda's glass was never empty... 😁 Spent about $38

Wow!!! First time here and last! Ordered the Sunday special burnt ends& BBQ CHICKEN. Well there is no BURNT ENDS on this plate, the chicken had no seasoning other than just BBQ sauce. Chicken was extremely mushy!! What is that! Food was cold, con on cob tasted old. Best thing we got was the cup of water. To top it off the hostess didn’t say a word to us while seating us. Didn’t recommend ANYTHING! All she did was lean on the podium. I was truly hoping this would be our new spot. Disappointed.

We've been coming here for cheap eats for years. We'd lose a couple hundred on the casino floor and then get some cheap food. Sometimes, it would be totally comped. Last couple times not so much. Not sure I'm going to go out of my way for this food anymore. It's not bad. It's just not feeling like the deal it used to be. The steak deals starting at $6.99 is for higher tier level players. I think mine was closer to $10.99. Not a terrible price but not worth going out of your way for it anymore.

Yelp
Everything going up, but our salary. Old casino like this really have their hidden gem. I was in the area and stopping by here for my lunch break. Nothing special here, but they have their daily special and is affordable, I think is $13.99 ++ Today is Sat, special is half BBQ Chicken with fries and coleslaw, the portion is big, big good for lunch Also surprisingly, the chicken is very good and juicy. Very good Is located inside the Arizona Casino, upstairs. I just turned 50 few days ago, and I'm not kidding you, I'm the youngest guy there. lol Definitely worth the visit.

Yelp
This restaurant is inside Arizona Charlie's on Boulder Highway. Place is nice, roomy, not claustrophobic. Staff friendly. Unfortunately, on a Tuesday, they only had one server. I was warned it might take a while to get my order. Wait was not too bad. Placed my order of Prime Rib, medium rare, with a salad. The salad with blue cheese dressing tasted fresh. Veggies were crunchy. I liked it. The prime rib was served with a baked potato, green beans. The usual butter, sour cream for the potato and au jus and horseradish. The potato was okay and the beans seemed freshly prepared and not from a can. The prime rib was a little tough snd dry so I really didn't enjoy it. Prices were reasonable. I might return to try their other offering, hope their other food is better....

Yelp
We went to sourdough Café going to bingo late night. We are rushing. We got pancakes, hashbrowns bacon, and everything is cooked. Perfectly. Customer service was fantastic at this time. They're only doing to go orders a lot different than the way it used to be but still the food was fantastic pancakes cooked to perfection Ambience was to go but still welcoming. Very good experience.

Yelp
3 for dinner. No waiting. Prompt service. Friendly staff. The meals were very good. Pasta, Cuban sandwich, Reuben sandwich. Sweet potato fries nice and crisp. Reasonable prices.

Yelp
Great place to go for breakfast or dinner. Good service and very affordable. The steak & shrimp is only $10.99.

Yelp
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - daily deal of steak and eggs and a chili bowl. The chili bowl was a fairly small serving but tasty overall. The medium rare steak was closer to well done but was decent overall. Nothing crazy special but hits the spot since we didn't want to drive out. Ambience: 4/5 - located on the second floor, it is off to the side of the casino but quite a spacious location. You can still hear the sounds from the slot machines and smell residual smoke. Convenient location if you're staying at the hotel. Service: 4/5 - not the quickest service but everyone was really nice! We waited 10 minutes to get the steak and eggs special to go but was told that it's only available for dine in. After we finished our food, we were probably sitting around for 10 minutes before our server came back. Value for price: 4/5 - note that the daily deal prices you see are only for people with higher tier reward cards. The price is still reasonable for the portion and flavor

Yelp
First time eating here. Food was very good. Waitress was very nice. But wayyyyyy too long to get seated the lady was NOT even friendly. And trying to pay for your food was a joke. It should not that long to pay for your Dinner.

Yelp
After failing to get breakfast @ 2 known eateries because they were both busy & had waiting lines we passed by Arizona Charlies on Boulder Hwy we decided on stopping by to try out their second floor restaurant. The original Sourdough restaurant was closed & next to it, was their steak house, which they were using as the Sourdough Cafe. We were ask to sign in by the male host. 5 minutes later we we're called & seated@ a booth in the middle of a spacious room.Renee was our server who was friendly & professional. We ordered 1 Steak & Eggs , over medium eggs & sourdough toast. 1Farmhouse breakfast. scrambled eggs, sausage & sourdough toast. 1 Diet Pepsi which was served in a small water glass@ $4.00 was my only dissatisfaction. The food was very tasty & presented nicely. Overall a good meal for 2 @ $9.99 & $7.99, discounts were available if you had a club card.Dining room staff very pleasant & efficient. Overall a good dining experience. Will go back if in the area.

Yelp
Like coming here for the bread bowls or sandwiches . Had a great Ruben the last time we were here . Portions are huge consider maybe sharing a plate . This particular time we ordered steaks . I ordered the sirloin MEDIUM RARE it came out seared on both sides but rare inside . Waitress was nice but place was getting busy so maybe the kitchen sent or rushed my steak out by mistake ? We ended up getting another steak after the Chef Lady came out to scope us out then returned with "another " steak ( only the steak ) . We made no fuss just kindly asked our server for the steak to be cooked properly . I'm assuming I was brought up another steak and not the same one because I had taken 2 bites of the 8 oz sirloin . It was a bit off putting to see the manager question the server as if why I needed another one sent out ? Usually most restaurants when returning anything back to kitchen they replace it with a brand new meal Side and all not here . No manager ever came by or asked if steak was better this time . I understand this isn't a 5 star steak restaurant but honestly no one's gives a flying "star" or looks like they want to be there . It's inside Arizona Charlie's so it's mostly locals but have some integrity . Appreciate the locals too! I did not take a picture of my BLUE steak because I was too busy looking for the waitress. Although , this time I had a bad experience I will be returning because my family likes it here . Will update

Yelp
Hmm? Idk what to say about this place. It's located upstairs where the old buffet used to be. Chose to eat here cause I had $20 dining credit to use and the prices here are actually pretty decent. And cheap. If you have a True card use it here to save more $ on certain meals. Now with that said. The food is actually pretty horrible. I had the street tacos that came with rice and beans. It was disgusting. Rice was hard and dry. And the beans were dry as well. The taco meat tasted ok. But that's about it. Would I eat here again? NOT ON PURPOSE. lol

Yelp
Prime Rib it's Delicious, I Recommend service its GREAT Noice its great most costumers were Round my Age

Yelp
Ate there for breakfast on Friday Dec 1 2023. Ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Well, the gravy wasn't fit for a dog to eat. Had horrible flavor and didn't look like country gravy. Not sure what it looked like . I scraped off as much as I could but that didn't help. Wouldn't recommend it to a person starving. Do not order.. Service was great. And very attentive.

Yelp
We love going to eat breakfast here, $20 ( with players card) for two steak and eggs with hash browns, toast and large pot of coffee plate. P.S. Breakfast all day
google avatar

Courtney M.

Yelp
Mood - dinner ( seeing what Vegas has to offer in terms of specials that are actually good) Upon entering we were greeted with great customer service. We signed up for a player's card to indulge in this all day special they were offering. We opted for the $5.99 steak and egg special, & $5.99 ham steak and egg special. Neither disappointed in the slightest. Portions were decent especially for the price. The interior is several booths, and table & chair arrangements. Everything was very clean. Our waitress made the night that much more enjoyable with her quick wit. Would def recommend- pricing was beyond reasonable, and the specials are all day. You need a player's card to indulge in the specials however. Location is Arizona Charlie's on Boulder - ample parking

Yelp
People were complaining about the hotel. I don't know anything about that. I didn't see any problems anywhere I walked around. I didn't think it was outdated anywhere I went to the sourdough Café for lunch and it was perfect. You get a lot of food for the money you don't go away hungry I usually go somewhere and I get disgusted. As an example, I go to IHOP on Tropicana and everything about it is a one star or a zero, and I pay more there than at the sourdough café.
google avatar

Yelp
Cafeteria food was obviously just what I needed because this hit the spot (plus I was too lazy to take the car and drive somewhere else after driving the length of Nevada--could they make the roads any straighter? Plus, our Saab loves the speed limits or lack thereof). Anyway, check out their before 5 p.m. dinner menu. I ate the Chicken Marsala. It came with some veggies and white sticky rice. I had a moment of thinking I needed some soy sauce for the rice (it wasn't on the table; isn't soy sauce mandatory in a diner like this?)--but then I realize the secret to this meal is the "gravy" I mean, sauce. Mix it around with the sticky rice and Just Eat It! 4 star yummy filled my tummy.

Yelp
If you are in a casino then you will get solid American food at a reasonable price. If you join their frequent flyer club (if you put money in slots or gamble at the tables, you must join their club) you will get discounts on the meal here. This is a typical casino eatery. It is right next to the stuff-yourself buffet where you can eat your fill to overflowing. Here, at the Sourdough Cafe, you will leave with money in your pocket and without spending an arm and a leg. I had the hamburger and fries for 4.99 less 10% for the club card. Draft beer is only $2.00. The hamburger was cooked to order and was just right. You can add cheese or fried onions for a little added extra cost. Across the casino (you are upstairs by the way) is a bar with a number of TV screens that will entertain you while you eat if you are alone. Between you and the TVs is a floor of hopeful gamblers pushing buttons and waiting for the reels to match up and the bells to ring. Jackpot! Enjoy your meal here but don't expect gourmet food. You do however get your money's worth.

Yelp
Inside Arizona Charlies Boulder Casino and upstairs. The price of the items on the menu were pretty good for the quality and portions of the food. Service overall was not bad. But considering they took out half the tables I expect better service. My waitress actually forgot something the person I was eating with had ordered. But she was nice and accommodating and made sure our water drinks were full without asking. That is a big plus for me. This place is nothing special than any other casino diner. I ordered the Country Pot Roast. It seemed to be good at the time, but it was just okay. There was a lot of fat- enough that I could pile it off on the side on the plate and it a passerby would think I was not hungry. The person I was with ordered the farmhouse breakfast with a stack of pancakes and an english muffin. The food came in a timely manner but our waitress forgot to put in the english muffin order. When we reminded her, she got one to us very quickly. Overall, I would return, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. If I'm there and need to eat, I would eat here again, but definitely would picking something else.

Yelp
Slow just before midnight ok service Food manu very limited.. $5.99 steak and eggs must have the players card steak peaper thin like an " 6 oz ... Every thing came fast and hot... I'll be back

Bob B.

Yelp
St. Pat's Day and there at 11am for corned beef and cabbage. Tough, chewy and ice cold. When butter doesn't melt on oven brown? potatoes and carrots that's not good. Water was great??? As was New England chowder.
google avatar

Hilaria G.

Yelp
The food is really good and the staff is nice, Plus the location is perfect the last floor on top And you just enter from the 5th level of the parking structure and the restuarant is there Convenient its nice!

Mickey R.

Yelp
Basic Vegas cafe with good food, quick service and good price specials. Good size and never crowded. It's on the second level so it's somewhat away from the casino and the noise and does not smell like cigarette smoke at all. The water tastes bad so order something else to drink or bottled water.
google avatar

Yelp
The folks here are always make sure you feel comfortable. They even went the extra mile to make sure you are protected from Covid. While sitting at the table the make sure your masked up. Thank you and the food is always affordable and good. Breakfast Special farmhouse

Yelp
So this review is strictly about the waiter and hostess. The food here is great, never had any issues with the food. I been going here off and on for the last 8 years. So with Covid 19 in effect, Sisolak making it mandatory to wear mask. This past Tuesday and the Tuesday before, I was here with my dad for breakfast. We came here twice back to back weeks because of our golf tee time nearby. Wanted to get breakfast before we play. Of all the restaurants I been to in Vegas during the reopening of restaurants and casinos on June 4th, this is the only place my dad and I are constantly getting reminded, put your mask back on or slide it down to your chin, when you need to eat and drink. Now mind you, I understand we all need to wear mask as much as possible, it's the governors orders, the staff is only being told what to do by there bosses. But every time my dad and I slid our mask down to our chin to drink coffee and our water, the waiter this past Tuesday and the hostess the week before, are on us to put it back up, wtf people. How in the hell do you expect us to eat and drink, no zippers on these mask, wth. We are waiting for our food, having a conversation drinking coffee and water. We can't even do that, as soon as we slide our mask down to drink or eat, they tell us put it back up. We tell them, how in the hell are we supposed drink our coffee, eat our food. There response, I'm sorry I'm just reminding everyone. I tell them, look at everyone around us, they have there mask slid down or off, while they eat and drink, this is my second week in row eating here, I feel like I'm being harassed to much. So after I get the bill, I stiff the waiter and proceeded to the cashier to pay bill. My dad and I told the cashier, let it be known to your bosses, this is getting over redundant. To slide mask down to chin, to eat or drink, being reminded of it to much, we get it we understand to keep everyone safe. Her response, a lot of complaints about this, all the seats in there are more than 6ft apart, we clean tables well. I'm sorry how you feel. We said to her, we understand there doing there job, to keep us all safe. But to get constantly reminded to put mask back on, it's annoying as he'll. Unfortunately, we are not coming back here for a long time. Its the only restaurant in town that is like this, all the other restaurants people wear mask coming inside, but once they sit down and eat and drink, there mask is put away. Before we left, the cashier said, hopefully it's not to long when you decide to come back. Our response, it will be a long time. I wish it could be sooner, but we don't like being harassed to much. Wow, Covid 19 sucks, hopefully everyone recovers fast that have it, people that don't have it, stay safe and wear mask as much as possible.

Yelp
Typical casino cafe, with great drink prices and very reasonable food prices. $8 for a bottle of wine or $1 for screwdriver, mimosa & Bloody Mary. Tried the signature sandwich Reuben, it was good and a decent portion. The potato salad was the standout, however. It was "loaded" potato salad, with bacon & green onions. Very tasty, could've eaten a ton of it. They should do more with it, like a special dish that features it. Will try to return with some friends for more potato salad!

Yelp
We went here for breakfast (party of seven). Service was competent but not friendly. The food was appropriately portioned for the inexpensive pricing it came with. The coffee left a lot to be desired (skip it)!

Yelp
The waitstaff is great, let me get that out first. Arizona Charlies mailed me a bunch of coupons. I came, valid coupon in hand, ready for dinner. I was seated promptly by a very nice server. She saw the coupon and told me "sorry, these dont work, you cant have a card already." They specifically sent them to me under my players card name and address. Very bait and switch. We decided to order off the specials. The food was the worst part. It took about 40 minutes and the place was empty. I ordered a burger medium rare. Fries were great, burger was shipped from the sun. Totally charred. I didnt say anything about it because the service was good. Fiance ordered the steak and eggs. Toast was totally dry, no butter. I love hashbrowns, these had the consistency and taste of July dog shit in Vegas. Just totally stale. The scrambled eggs were fake. Like the stuff you got in 3rd grade or in boot camp. Here is the worst part: Fiance ordered the steak medium rare. It came out barely cooked. I like my steak rare, and this was too much. I think I heard it still mooing. I have never in my life complained about food to waitstaff. My fiance showed it to the waitress, she took it and said they "would put it back on the grill for awhile." The funny thing was, she took the part my fiance cut off to take a bite of too. The waitress did return about 20 minutes later with a new steak because she said she didnt trust the chef. The place is clean and the wait staff is great. Very nice, very prompt. I could tell the waitress was at her nerves end because everyone was coming in with the coupons and she had to tell hundreds of people they dont work. I got the idea that she had to deal with food issues constantly. This place has potential if they got the food issues under control and didnt use phony coupons to lure in customers.

Yelp
Located in Arizona Charlie's on Boulder highway. Reservations can be made when arrive may need to wait a short while. Food specials with players card. Small menu but still nice selection. Staff is friendly and prompt. Would recommend fir a casual bite to eat.

Yelp
A very solid 4. Shout out to Todd of Yukon Grill, whom we said "hi" to going by. Excellent service by Gayle from New Jersey, and others whose names I did not catch. Orange Roughy good, street tacos looked good as well. Perhaps something to reduce noise from the casino, a clear partition? Nice place, and a good value.

Yelp
I was craving steak and eggs. As if I didn't have enough eggs earlier but, I was craving and well boyfriend came through with suggesting we come here. This is my new favorite spot for some legit tender, juicy steak and eggs. 7.77 for a decent portion. You get 2 eggs, hash browns and your steak. The only 2 things that I wasn't too happy about was 1. Hashbrowns tasted like they had been made much earlier in the day, sat for a while, and somewhat re heated and served with our order--- cold ? Hard and crunchy. Not ideal. 2. They take a long time to bring out your order. They weren't crazy busy when we arrived. Almost as if they had one cook in the kitchen making everyone's food. On to positive --- Prompt seating, prompt drinks, and waitress checked up on us several times and she was pleasant and kind. She was attentive. My son had the french toast. Was good but not the best. Satisfied his craving though. Nothing special. I would say the steak and eggs is what peeps come to eat here. I did see a plate of spaghetti and meatballs come out for another table. Looked good, I wouldn't mind trying that next time. I definitely will be returning. But strictly for steak and eggs--- with no hash browns. Ha! They could improve on their timing with bringing peeps orders out. Whether it be a server issue or cook issue. Also making sure the food on your customers plate is hot/warm. But will come and try again. I'll give them another shot for sure. No pictures unfortunately, I had left my phone in the car. Smh. Next time.

Yelp
This place is located upstairs at Arizona Charlies. A lot of locals come here for the cheap specials. They have some good ones different nights. And if you have a players card you can also get mailings with specials. Sometimes there is a line to get in I have to say because it seems service is never too great! But the line can go pretty fast depending on how fast the tables get cleared or if someone is near the area to seat you. Be prepared most of the time to sit and wait a bit before the waiter comes to your table, I have never figured out why it is so bad here. Once in a great while you may hit it lucky, Its good for breakfast as well as most of the food we have tried is not bad here at all. If it wasn't so cheap I am sure no one would go here because it is always the same way with service. Otherwise we suggest if your hungry and your at the casino why not eat here.

Yelp
An hour wait for steak and eggs is ridiculous. The kitchen was obviously having issues. I was about to go back there and bail them out since I cook for a living in another casino....but no, I left and went to jack in the box instead. No sorry, no refills on our drinks while we were waiting, not even bread.... Prisoners in jail get better treatment. Don't go there. The service is horrible. The manager and sous chef act as if they didn't care. Unacceptable...
google avatar

Yelp
4 stars are mainly for their 3.99 steak n eggs. Service is decent and the rest of their menu is pretty interesting. I only come here for their steak n eggs deal cuz for that price, you cant really complain. You need a player card for this deal which is free to sign up for. Without it the regular price is only 50 cents more. But who doesnt like to save money? Once you get this deal, the rest of the menu is not as appealing cuz lets face it, anything more than 3.99 is really not a deal any more is it? Oh im sure the rest of their menu is probably ok just about everybody comes for this deal. The one star they didnt get is because they are not 24 hours like the location off of Decatur and the 95. Also sometimes, you get a chef that doesnt know how to cook steak so when I say medium rare, I get it well done.

Nw S.

Yelp
Went here to have the sirloin steak dinner while staying at nearby Sam's town in March 2022. The food was fine and the staffs were friendly. I think that you get discount if you show the club card, so be sure to have a club card with you.
google avatar

Pyro C.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst steggs ever! About to give it to a homeless. Ordered a medium rare and got the thinnest steak for $8.49

Jason M.

Yelp
I really don't understand how this place only has 3 stars, it is absolutely a diamond in the rough. The food is really good, and the prices are fantastic ($6 steak and eggs!). My family and I are in Vegas for a couple of weeks, and we've already eaten there twice. Both of our servers, Earl and Deborah, were great too.
google avatar

Raj S.

Yelp
Awesome customer service experience here. I went to have dinner with my family late in the night around 1 a.m at the cafe and was served by a sweet lady called Rachel and she was awesome kind polite....absolutely wonderful. The food was also good. I came home a happy camper and I give Rachel two thumbs way up for her seven star service!
google avatar

Charley C.

Yelp
I was very simple, I needed dinner and they came through. I had a club sandwich that was as good as any. The people were helpful and the service was about the average for casino, wait patiently as there are so many things going on. The staff seems to be hustling around a lot, so I guess a bit more staff could be in order. Oh well - Be patient and all things will come.
google avatar

Ana Z.

Yelp
Hidden inside an older casino outside of the strip, but that makes it better right? No traffic and less of a wait. Pretty simple, quick and delicious for the price. Can't go wrong with steak and eggs for $5.55. It comes with hashbrowns, 2 eggs, and steak.

Yelp
If you can find this cafe through the smoke-infested casino and don't mind inconsistent service, this is a great place for massive portions of home cooking- and good specials. BF has been hanging out at the AC sports book lately, so we had dinner here last night. Specials include a $10 prime rib and shrimp, $5 steak and eggs or ham and eggs, and a few others- BF preferred the prime rib dinner, which did not have shrimp but came in a larger size with soup or salad, rolls, vegetable of the day, and choice of potato. I tried his meat and it was actually surprisingly good, as was the au jus, which I usually find too salty. I opted for the Wednesday dinner special of roasted pork loin with mashed potatoes and pan gravy with the same sides as above- meat was actually surprisingly good, but could have used a smidge more gravy. I liked the potatoes and I'm usually a little picky about them- slightly salty, seemed to me bad with smashed baby reds which are my favorite. Vegetable of the day was canned corn, which was lackluster and mostly flavorless. FInal note about the side salads that we started with: in addition to being rather large, they're drenched in dressing- so if you're counting calories you really should ask for it on the side. That being said, lettuce and other vegetables were crisp and fresh. Service was a little less than impressive: took our server a good 10 minutes to approach us for the first time, he was a bit short with us, and when I asked for a cup of chili he snapped at me and said it only came in a bowl portion. Kind of annoyed about that, kind of annoyed about how he pointed it out. Either way, apparently you have to go with a bowl for chili- duly noted.

Yelp
I was actually planning on going to the Yukon Grill because the reviews were so much better. But nobody came to seat me and the Sourdough Cafe special sounded pretty good and being from California I'd forgotten how hideously backwards other states are on allowing smoking so I just wanted to hurry up and get a bit to eat and get back outside. Service was unexpectedly wonderful! It was a bit late on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty quiet. Often a sign that it will be hard to find your waiter when you need them. Not this time. Wish I remembered my waiters name so I could include it here. He was so very attentive and friendly. The prime rib was excellent and done to perfection! So often hard to get it rare, especially late in the evening. I would definitely go back if I'm here in the area again.

Yelp
I ate here with a few of my friends one evening at the Sourdough Café here at Arizona Charlies on boulder highway. We all ordered the Hamburger Special that looked good on the picture but when we got our food order at the table the hamburger looked like it was for a small child as well as the french fries that were cold and greasy, I sent back the fries and the waitress gave me a batch that were basically the same( cold and greasy), oh well we ate up and got our bill and noticed there was a extra charge for cheese on the hamburgers, I asked the waitress whos name I cant remember except she was stocky short with blond hair tied back and glasses, what the charge was for, and she said that I wanted cheese on the burger but never told us that it would cost extra, she insisted she told us all this in the beginning and scolded us for not paying attention, I have no problem paying for something extra but me and my friends do not need to be scolded and humuliated in public as other custmors were watching from there tables. when this was going on the manger walked by and looked over and did absolutly nothing to help, maybe he was to pretending to look busy. By the time we got done paying for this crummy meal, I lost my desire to stay at the casino and play some cards with my friends. Over the years this was a pretty good place to catch a bite at a good price but more recently it seems this place has slipped in food quality and giving small portions as well as higher prices on there food. Needless to say this restaurant is poorly managed and probaly will close up in the near future from lack of custmors.

Yelp
Last week my entire order was screwed up and went into the dumpster. This week I'm now waiting over an hour. This is the last time I order here. The cooks don't care, so watch what you eat... my burgers last week weren't cooked!! This place has turned into a real shithole. The entire place. The people are great but upper management is screwing up what Used to be a great locals casino. Not anymore. Stay clear and spend your money elsewhere!!

Yelp
I give this place one star! Went here for lunch with my chica Donna..we both ordered the Grilled cheese with fries. It took the server 15 minutes before they even took our order and bring drinks...and no they weren't busy. We waited 25 minutes for our order to come...and I say...Do not order the grilled cheese, unless you like burnt bread and no cheese. The menu reads it's gooey with cheese, what a joke. It was burnt and had one slice of cheese for the triple decker bread it came on. Not only did Donna and I have to ask the server to take it back(wish I would have taken a picture of the first order) and make it again..it took them 30 minutes to bring it, but when they brought us our second reordered grilled cheese, it was just as bad, I'll say they did add another two slices of cheese. Picture taken. We both just ended up eating our side of fries it came with and our iced teas. I guess you get what you pay for.

Yelp
The cheeseburgers are great here. The new owners did get "new" french fries which really aren't very good. I always order the cheeseburger and my boyfriend always orders the streak and eggs. We do like it here. The prices aren't as cheap as they used to be so be prepared to pay 20-25 bucks for lunch.

Yelp
The worst service I've ever gotten. The receptionist was rude and dry. When we told her how many in our party she wrote down the wrong number. Also she told us it was a 30 min wait I confirmed cause I could wait 30 mins not and hour. She said 30 mins after 30 mins I asked her how much longer she replied 4 tables ahead of you. I did t ask that I asked how much longer. She then proceeded to walk to the back and talk with a table where her friends were sitting. Once I got her attention again she said oh a table just opened up for 3 knowing we had 5 in our party after I corrected her. Then she says that's all we have right now. When I asked if I could speak to a manger, no manger was on duty. Coincidence? I think not. The sever and busperson were subpar at best. Again worst service ever.

Yelp
If Delmonico's was the highlight of my trip, this was the lowlight. I have some repressed memories stored up when I stepped in here, but I never quite remembered why. I did remembered staying at Arizona's Charlie a few times when I was much younger. Long ago when there was a convention called COMDEX, a computer geek convention that is much bigger than CES or Comic Con would be here in Vegas. The rooms would jumped up to ridicious high prices and yet we couldn't get any rooms on the strip or near the convention center. Arizona Charlie would be the one that bailed us out with cheap and yet reasonable prices. I did remembered coming to Sourdough Cafe a few times, but I still can't remembered why I am having eerie feeling about this place. When my buddy and I was wounding down our trip and getting ready to go home, I suggested this place only because I remembered there was a breakfast special that is less than $3. It's a good price and awesome way to end the trip. Here's why my memories started to flood when the menu was presented... In order to get the discount for the $2.99 special of Steaks and Eggs and that $2.79 special for the ham and eggs......... you will need to present a PLAYER'S CLUB CARD. That was a fine print you have to read in the menu to find that out. In essence, they wanted you to fill out some form like CVS Pharmacy or Ralph's and enroll in some honky dink program that their casino is having. Frankly, I could not understand on why they don't just offered it if it's PRINTED on the menu. Yes, there is an asterisk and a fine print in the menu, but it's just tacky and a little inconvenient just so you can go to some info booth and enroll into that Player's club, so in turn to get a discount at the breakfast joint. Then I started to remember again... it was that my pals from many years ago would be searching the lobby, casino, and the hotel's hallways just so they can find a place to enroll in that program. When we couldn't find it, we had to stand again in the long line (Yes, this is a popular joint for the locals who love these specials, apparently I found out they enroll in another program to get the shorter line that is next to the line for the regular folks). So the long ordeal to find the place to enroll in that Player's club was not worth it in the first place, then to stand back in the long line for it was a big slap in the face. It hit me right in the gut when I remembered about that from a decade ago. We're not talking about the menu printing up regular price and you would have to present a coupon to get the meal lower. No, we are talking about a blatant hook just to entice you to come here and then wham!...you can't get that special without a string attached. I know they make that fine print, but it's border lined on false advertising (not quite, but to me it was almost). By having different advertising around the web pages and having other web sites to promote that special grates me at times only because it's not that special. Let's be frank, it's only about $4 more if you didn't join the Player's Club. Not a big whoop, but left a sour taste in my mouth when we left. I did wound up ordering the ham and eggs that was not bad, but not worth the full price. Even it was a discounted, I'm still hesitant to decide if I would come back for here regularly on my Vegas trips. The service was OK and the waiter did his best to sympathize with us. I think he get that a lot from people who wondered why the price had a string attached. The meal was ordinary to say the least and I just can't see why this place was be popular for a 24 hour joint that never closes. The locals probably kept the place alive. Just be aware that there will be a wait in the morning before 11am, a long wait in fact. Then realized in that the Steak and Eggs or the Ham and Eggs are not worth the hassle for the special. Order something else to avoid the frustration. ------------------- Quality: * Decor: *** Service:** Amenity: * Ambiance: **
