Things I want to try in Tokyo
Soushi Menya Musashi

Mark T.

Google
Very good ramen and a solid recommendation. The broth was rich and well balanced, with great depth of flavor, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The pork is what really made this bowl stand out. It was incredibly tender, fell apart in my mouth, and was unbelievably juicy. Easily some of the best chashu I have had. You can tell they take their craft seriously. The wait time was very reasonable. I waited about five to ten minutes, although seating is limited so a line started forming behind me and some people ended up waiting longer. That said, it moves fairly efficiently. Lots of locals were eating here as well, which is always a good sign. Despite being close to the station, it feels more like a proper local ramen shop than a tourist place, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is simple and efficient, and service was quick and friendly. After trying a few hyped spots, this one actually lived up to expectations. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend if you are in the area.

Make sure you order their つけ麺 tsukemen, Menya Musashi never let you down ! The sauce of their つけ麺 tsukemen is cooked using Bonito flakes along with pork bone, so you have the freshness also the richness; plus their house noodles and well-braisd pork belly, and the Musashi decorations, once again, no matter which branch, never let you down.

It's a very great place for ramen. They are delicious, especially the pork meat that melt in the mouth. And if you want to try an other version of the ramen, you should try the tsukemen.

Delicious tsukemen with great portions, typical for the dish. Price was a bit higher but fits the location I think. There was a slight wait and a longer line started to form for a weekday dinner.

t tasted a bit salty for me since I usually prefer lighter flavors, but it was still very good. It was my first time trying tsukemen, and I really enjoyed it.

On our third day in Tokyo, we decided to try a popular ramen spot for dinner. Despite the 35-minute queue and an additional 10-minute wait after placing our order at the machine, the experience was well worth it. I instantly fell in love with the rich, thick broth and the melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, which was incredibly satisfying. The portions were generous, making it even more enjoyable. This place has left such an impression that I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Tokyo!

My family and I really enjoyed this Ramen spot. The place had a very good vibe and the staff was super friendly but moe importantly we felt welcomed. The ramen was amazing, probably top 5 of all the ramens I have tried.
