Wow!! This has been the best pizza i’ve had in a minute & I don’t say it lightly. The pepperoni had the right amount of crunchiness and the pineapple was juicy perfect crust as well! The owner and staff were also so warm and welcoming! & not to mention it is right down the street from the beach! If you’re in the south bay this is the pizza you MUST try! Will definitely be back for more.

We enjoyed South Bay Pizza so much we had it two days in a row while visiting from the east coast for vacation. Super close to the beach and a new family favorite! Great customer service!

UPDATE* owner offers refund but no contact information such as email left. Called shop and left message for owner 2 weeks+ and no call back. We decided to give SBP a chance after reading good reviews and seeing a high rating. We ordered online for pickup. When I walked in the door I wasn't greeted. No one else was there. Finally after a minute I asked if order was ready or near ready. Guy told me 5 minutes....18 mins later I'm still standing there looking at video game machines that don't work. 4 pies are handed over at about the 20 minute mark of me standing there, they Smell delicious and boxes are warm, good signs. Get home. Open 1st kids personal pizza. Totally burnt. Like majorly burnt. 2nd kids pizza has so much cheese on it that even a Wisconsin-ite would look away. I tried a bite and was overwhelming the cheese to rest of pizza ratio. My pizza,no cheese due to dietary issues has 4 toppings at 2 bucks a pop so 8 dollars in toppings. Barely anything on the pizza(see photo). Each slice had maybe 2-3 pieces of whatever. Looked dismal. I ordered the thin crust, Wife ordered the thick crust. We couldn't see a difference. Def no thin crust pizza and not even close to crisp. The topping cost was outrageous for what you got. My wife got 6 toppings at 2 bucks a piece and you just get less the more you order it seems. Will not return. What a shame.

Everything from the customer service to the cleanliness to the actual pizza was fantastic! 10 of 10. I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in for a relaxing afternoon lunch! The guy taking our order was busy on the phone but so kind to let us know he’d be with us in a minute. We ordered the spicy pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and hot honey on half and the other half just pepperoni. That first bite was out of this world! We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed the pizza - the crust was crunchy on the crust but well cooked and soft on the slice itself. The best part? The pizza is still good when it’s cold! We’ve definitely found a new household favourite!

South Bay Pizza had the best reviews in South Bay & I see why we picked up the barbecue pizza along with the pepperoni! It was excellent. I give them a five out of five try them you’ll love them. Thanks again Southbay pizza God bless.

I have always passed by this pizza spot but never got to trying it and I must say I’ve been sleeping on South Bay pizza! I ordered a large pie with half MVP and half meat lovers for $31. While my family enjoyed the meat lovers, the star of the show for me was the MVP. Oh my goodness. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Pizza sauce, vodka sauce, mozzarella and pesto. The dough was buttery and airy; crust thin but not too thin, with the perfect ratio of bread, sauce and toppings. I must say though that the pizza was getting cold when I picked it up (I was on time) but a few minutes in the oven toaster did the trick, no issues. The guy behind the counter was courteous and hard at work. The place was well-kept, but do keep in mind they only have two small tables outside so I’d say it’s not suited for large groups. This is definitely my new pizza spot. Can’t wait to be back!

I recently visited South Bay and it definitely delivered on flavor and quality. The crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. I tried the meat lovers and the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings was spot on. The atmosphere was casual and inviting.Service was friendly and efficient, with staff happy to offer recommendations. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and they even had some unique offerings like gluten free & vegan options & standout items like garlic knots, specialty pizzas.

Here's an update that's my annual review of South Bay Pizza. After another year of eating more pizza places around Los Angeles and globally, South Bay Pizza is still one of my top favorite pizza, places, if not the best pizza I've ever had. What makes this place very special is their crust I'm telling you their crust is made of love. I usually get the thin crust, but something about this crust is very cheery and crispy and lightly oiled at the same time. All their flavors are good. A pro tip is that they have sales and special combos for each day of the week for example they have wings on discount on Wednesday. Did I mention that their wings are also one of the best wings I've ever had? Their wings are special because they're not super oily and deep-fried like Wingstop but feels a bit baked and when you order buffalo wings, they typically give you the sauce on the side. I had to write a review today because I tried their boneless wings for the first time today. Oh my God it's one of the best boneless wings I've ever had because there are giant pieces of chicken in the middle unlike McDonald's or even Chick-fil-A. They initially forgot my boneless wings on Saturday but Luis always hooks it up and made things right. What makes South Bay Pizza even better in 2025 is that they updated their app and ordering now on their website is easier than ever I might have contributed to fixing one small bug in the app :) I still haven't been to the physical store but will do soon. I had them deliver pizza to me when I order as pick up, that's my bad. They still helped out; but I owe them $5 delivery fee.

Great food. Quick. Reasonably priced. Usually get a pepperoni pizza and the parmesean chicken wings. We are always happy with everything . Thank you so much for making dinner easy for me!

I absolutely love finding local hole in the wall, this is my first time at southbay pizza and the guy that was at the register was so helpful and very nice . I got their large pepperoni pizza and some Thai wing and they both complement each other very well. The best part is that the pizza is not grease and it only took them to freshly prepared it in less then 20 min. There is only about two seating so it would be best to keep the part at 4 and less. They have a really cool arcade game inside too. I definitely will be returning.

What a cute shop. Smells good as walked by. The service is nice. Got the half Margherita and half meat pizza. The pizza dough is very fresh and they use nice ingredients. It's thinner and not too greasy. Also a little chewy texture which is nice to snack on. One of the better places for pizza in South Bay.

I was craving pizza and this place popped up on Yelp for me so my husband and I popped in after we placed an order over the phone (their website charges a $1 processing fee). They have parking conveniently in front of their pizzeria. We walked in right as Luis took our pizza out of the oven. He was very friendly and cordial when we picked up the pizza and after we devoured the pizza! He took our empty pizza box once we were done stuffing our faces. The MVP pizza was... spectacular! The crust was crunchy, the added pepperoni had crispy edges and my husband and I love saucy pizzas and this one definitely delivered! It quickly made it to my top 3 pizzas I've ever had! I can't recommend this place enough and I'm so sad I can't try out their other pizzas until next time I'm back in LA. So please, try this place out and eat an extra slice for me haha!

I must have came on the wrong day! The pizza I ordered was no where's as good as everyone raves about, the crust was THIN! And cheese and sauce was at a minimum, the only thing that was plentiful was the sausage .I ordered the Thursday Special and if that's considered a deal I'd hate to sed a regular priced pie. I drove 20 minutes from my home and won't make that mistake again. Oh and make the cauliflower bites a little bigger,

Soooooo badddd... if you do anything, do NOT order the buffalo cauliflower wings. Over-battered, undercooked cauliflower with barely any sauce... genuinely a singular drizzle. Pizza was not good... there's no other way to put it. I'd say, save your money and go somewhere else!

All the recommendations were great. I thought I was going to make it home to enjoy it but I literally just sat outside as comfortable as I would have been on my couch. South Bay Pizza is unbelievably good! Truly the biggest hidden gem of the South Bay, even if it wasn't for their amazing tasting pizzas & salads, their service is next level! I went in and was a little disappointed initially to find out they didn't have slices (since I wanted to try a few options for their specialty pizzas), but every pizza seems to be pretty great here. On the service side, the gentlemen working there heard us talking about how it's our first time and we wanted to try some slices, but they didn't have them, so he gave us a free upgrade on the pizza size, we didn't know until we picked it up when it was ready and he told us he wanted us to have leftovers and a good experience. The vibe is pretty cool, but there's not much seating except for two small tables outside with 2 seats each. It also has a nice little parking lot, so that was a pleasant surprise. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Overall: 4.5/5

I flew here from Miami, craving for fresh pizza and this is it. It's perfectly well done and it's more affordable than what I got from Miami. The service is great. I visited there twice and I would come visit again soon!

One of my favorite spots to grab a Pizza! Always consistent, very friendly staff and easy to access! My go to is always the Great White Pizza. It comes with Alfredo sauce, Chicken, Bacon and Red Onion. Their wings are a great size with tons of meat and they have many different options! Stayed a couple nights in Redondo wanted a quick pizza ordered the all meat or meat lovers pizza and was blown away. Piled with tons of ingredients and just overall tasty and delicious. They were quick to prep it and were really friendly. Highly recommend.

They serve great-quality pizzas for everyone in mind from vegan to meat lover's favorites. it's all here in Redondo Beach located off PCH! Their customer service is impeccable! Lue is so amazing and kind. You can ask for their heart-shaped pizzas, available upon request. The vibes inside are and outside are spectacular. Parking is easily accessible in front of the pizza shop entrance.

Absolutely, hands down my new go-to spot for pizza! Owner was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to try the other menu items!!! Will definitely recommend it to anyone that loves pizza.

This place rocks! ran into the owner, he's super chill. couldn't decide between the two chicken pizzas so he made me a 12" half and half. the BBQ sauce is fiiiiiii. smoky and a lil spicy. killed the whole thing in 10 mins

My son loves this place! He's only 4 but he's picky about his pizza - and this place meets his needs. We get our hair cut Nextdoor at Salon Farouk, and know we are grabbing food here before heading back home. The crust is delicious, perfectly crisp and never soggy. The cheese and sauce are such a perfect blend of sweet tangy deliciousness- it's no wonder my kid likes it! The pizza is always fresh and I love that I can order online so it's ready right when we are heading home. The staff is great, always friendly and happy to see us! We will continue to get pizza here when we are on this side of town!

Really yummy pizza!!! Would def come back again! We had their PCH pesto was so delicious and the crust is one of my favorites.

The bessssttt wings and pizza around. We got the lemon pepper wings which were full of flavor and seasonings. Probably top 3 wings in my lifetime. The pizza had the perfect ratio of toppings and the crust was not too thick, it was just right. You can get a baked cookie for dessert which also smacked. We got the food to go and went to the beach to enjoy it. Ultimate cheat meal and relaxing foodie getaway. The service was amazing too! The owner is super laid back as well and gives welcoming vibes when you walk in.

Customer service was very friendly. This is a takeout place only. The veggies seemed fresh. The meats were good quality as well. The ranch isn't that delicious but the pizza was amazing. Great vibes.

Came here for lunch and was hands down the best pizza I've had in a long time!!! We had the Buffalo chicken pizza and the Hawaiian-both flavors 10/10 fast service amazing pizza would recommend in a heart beat!!!

Terrible customer service and the pizza was not what was advertised. We got the spicy pepperoni because we loved the cuppy pepperoni with the hot honey and jalapeños. However the pepperoni was barely cooked and the jalapeños were added AFTER the oven like an afterthought. We looked at pictures and everyone's jalapeños were cooked so they probably just added jalapeños afterward to a plain pepperoni pizza because it also didn't have the hot honey! We called to say the pizza wasn't cooked enough and the jalapeños weren't cooked but the guy just said "that's how we make it" and I said that's not how it looks on all the pictures and he just repeated what he said. No offer of a remake or partial refund. Never coming back. Save your money and go to red west or something. $45 for a pizza and 8 piece wing is also crazy for the quality they are serving here.

Such a great find! Located in a small strip of restaurants right off of PCH, you'll find a cozy little pizza shop. Luis, the owner of South Bay Pizza was super friendly and offered a variety of suggestions and popular menu items found on their menu. We decided to go with a pizza, wings, mac and cheese bites and a chocolate chip cookie (WITH ICE CREAM!) for dessert! For the pizza, we decided to go half Meat Lovers and half Spinach Artichoke. That way we get some veggies and lots of protein! The wings were really good. They bake the wings here but, they are still nice and crispy and super juicy. The garlic parmesan flavor was so good, I even poured some over my pizza! for more buttery goodness. My brother loved the mac and cheese bites, and the chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal. The cookie was soft, gooey with tons of chocolate chips, and the ice cream on top was the perfect way to end the meal! Will definitely be back for more wings, pizza and cookies. Next time I'm in the area, I think I will have to try their pizza tots or pastas!

Husband wanted to try out a new place and he was craving chicken wings. Found this spot on Yelp and we got 18 wings, split flavors: garlic Parmesan & Carolina tangy gold bbq. The Carolina tangy gold bbq was described as a sweet (kind of like chick fil A) sauce and my husband and daughter rated 5/5. So I honored their rating. I don't like the regular chick fil A sauce so I didn't try these chicken wings. I did try the garlic Parmesan wings and they were OK. I usually like my garlic Parmesan wings super garlicky, with noticeable Parmesan on it. These weren't it. I was going to rate them 3/5 but My husband told me the flavor was more noticeable on the wings at the bottom. Tried them and you can smell the garlic and parmesan, but I would still rate it about 4/5. Please note we ordered to go/ take out and placed a phone order. So I'm not sure if eating-in would've made a difference. The pizza store looked pretty small, like a family owned business, with small selection of seating inside. Besides the flavor comment, the wings were decently meaty and fell right out the bone. We will be coming back to try their pizza & regular bbq wings!

Here is an update to my original review about not being able to place orders with the business I am grateful to Luis for reaching out to me almost immediately in a private setting to apologize for my experience and provide more context to me around the situation. I also think it speaks volumes that he chose to apologize publicly to my review without feeling the need to defend his business or antagonize me in his response We have since returned and are happy to report that the food is still as delicious as we recall from previous visits but there has never been a question about the quality of their food. From this experience I've learned that there is a guarantee on the service they provide as well We will continue to order from South Bay Pizza and support this small local business

Best pizza in the South Bay. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and I was not disappointed. On top of the pizza being delicious, the customer service that Luis (the owner of South Bay Pizza) provided was excellent. Luis was very friendly and answered every question we had about the pizza. I definitely recommend this place.

Drove an hour to try this pizza establishment and it was definitely worth the drive. The pizza was delicious. Luis and gang know how to provide good service and great food.

Popular in-demand pizza in Redondo Beach is located near the beach Now go and pick up a box or two or more from @southbaypizza Park your behind on the sand, watching the waves, and enjoy eating up your favorite toppings. I got myself the simplest but tastiest pizza, margarita. All the cheese, fresh basil, and a touch of olive oil just hit the spot The cheese mozzarella overloads on every bite and I am not mad at it. I love how the crust had a nice crunch and it wasn't soggy towards the middle/tip of the slice. Besides that, meat lovers would be my other favorite. Just add mushrooms and I am in love. Don't forget to pair it up with their garlic twist knots. The more garlic the better and that's exactly what they provided without even asking. You have to aggressively dunk in the margarita sauce too. What's your favorite toppings? How do you feel about pineapple on pizza? I don't order it but when I see it, I am getting a slice. So yes, yes to pineapple.

I can't understand the good reviews. We skipped our normal pizza spot to try south bay pizza and the pizza we just picked up literally looks like its days old, super dry and barely warm, never again.

This is the best pizza in the South Bay. The owner is fantastic. He actually listens to feedback!! I pretty much only recommend this pizza to anyone that asks.

$55 for one large pizza and 18 TINY ozempic wings. -Messed up the toppings and weak costco ahh pizza -Put 6 wings of overspiced lemon pep in one box, then put 12 pigeon wings soaked in a gallon of sauce in two other boxes, uh oh no bags, time to balance this like jenga on my pizza box in the rain Get out to the parking lot and someones casing my car Go home and see they forgot my extra sauce that cost $2 and the extra marinara sauce I asked for tasted like sun ripened rotten tomatoes People here must be smoking asbestos because I have never ordered takeout that has come out so insanely wrong in so many ways

We've tried their pizzas a few times now, and have loved every pizza we have tried so far (Hawaiian, Margherita, Spinach & Artichoke, and Great White). I think the crust is some of the better ones I have had around the area. The wings are really good too. The customer service is great, they're all really nice. I have ordered delivery and it was a smooth experience. The restaurant itself is in a small plaza with parking, and there is lots of street parking nearby in case all the spots are taken which makes picking up real easy. We are big fans of South Bay Pizza!

We tried Southbay pizza for the first time tonight. Excited because it had such great reviews. Ordering was fine and pick up fine. Here is where things went a bit sideways. After order two pizzas and two cookies for a total over 65 bucks I would hope it would be something we all went crazy for. We got home 5 min ride and pizza was cold. It didn't feel warm when my husband brought it to the car. Ok not great... toppings were ok... nothing unique or wonderful, bbq sauce nothing special and red sauce same. Dough was just ok no great favors or spices that wowed you. The reheating helped some but flavor is flavor. It's not got the unique flavor say of Lampost Pizza or Piccini or the over the top topping of rosario's! It was like a papa John's to us. The pizza cookies were supposed to be the redeeming items for lack luster pizza but instead we got one ok pizza cookie and a total burn one that was not edible. See my picture. Very disappointing as we were so excited to try this pizza place. I'll drive the extra to go elsewhere. Piccini would never have dared try and served that. I didn't think I would have to check that the cookie wasn't charcoal but apparently you do.

Best service. Great food. Ranch is 10/10. Must go here if you are in the South Bay Area.

Stumbled across this little hole in the wall pizza joint and I'm so glad I did! Luis the owner is so friendly and he was manning the station on his own for my order. I wanted to have a little pizza party with my friends so we ordered an everything, Hawaiian, and pastrami pizzas. There is sooo much selection of flavors here it's not your average pizza joint. It's super unique and fun! My favorite was the everything pizza but the Hawaiian was also very good. Sorry if I'm triggering anyone by putting pineapple on my pizzas. The everything pizza is super flavorful. The pastrami uses a mustard base so it's super mustard-y if you're into that. I may next time have to change the base because I'm personally not the biggest fan of mustard but that's a personal problem. We also ordered some wings and my fave flavor were the lemon pepper. I love a nicely dry seasoned wing. We also got the Carolina Tangy Gold BBQ, Sweet Thai Chili, and Garlic Parmesan. The garlic parm is juicy. And the other two my friends really liked! We also got the cheese garlic bread and added sausage to it and it was like a mini flatbread but soooo good. The base is a delicious garlic butter base. Highly recommend! I can't wait to come back to try other flavors!!

Stop by because I was craving pizza and wanted a quick pick up and I'm so glad I got to try South Bay Pizza. They offer a lot of different sizes and each size comes with 8 slices. I opted for pepperoni, classic but so yummy! The person helping us out that day was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely come back! There's also lots of parking in this area too, which is a plus!
