The staff is super friendly and calm. Our two power smoothies were delicious, and we really liked the loaded avocado toast. We found a cute little table inside and enjoyed recharching while running errands. Will come back for sure.

I've been a customer here since they opened. I believe this is the original South Block location. Great smoothies and acai bowls. Love the ambiance and great service.

Google
I live next door to South Block and aside from it being delicious, I love the convenience of the app. I like getting a green smoothie when I want something light & refreshing, but love being able to get a large cave monkey when I am in a rush for lunch and need a quick meal replacement to keep me full. They always greet me even when I just run in for a pick up order while they are super busy. Very friendly :)

Google
Looks like is one of the best yams to get a refreshing and delicious smoothie or bowl. I love the seasonal smoothies too

Google
I’ve been going to South Block since they first opened. It’s always great to see new locations pop up as I’ve gotten a smoothie or acai bowl about 3x a week for the past 11 or so years. I would love to see you bring back the breakfast burritos for the OG Fans if even only for a short time. I miss them so much!

Google
The renovations are great, much better flow and always friendly and helpful staff. The smoothies are tasty and always hit the spot.

I love South Block. I always feel like I’m doing something good for myself whether it’s having a bowl or a smoothie! And they do put out good vibes! 💚

My order was ready promptly. I was greeted warmly by staff, and my meal was fresh and delicious, with generous portions. Unfortunately I devoured it before I could take a picture.

Yelp
Love this South Block location (remember when it was the only one??) It is pretty small and cozy-- smaller than many of the others so I often just go for pickup. There are a handful of places to sit though. Everything is always high quality and fresh! Staff is the friendliest, and I love, love the smoothies. The Cave Monkey is my favorite! Can't go wrong with chocolate peanut butter They recently switched over to a new app, which gives you a bunch of free points/items when you download the new one. Very convenient to the Clarendon area, which means parking is a pain. There is a nearby garage used for Trader Joe's, as well as some street parking.

Yelp
I love the quality of their products! Most recently, the last time I was there (Tuesday) I got this - Strawberry Radiance Shake: unsweetened almond milk, strawberries, bananas, dates, maple syrup, beetroot powder, collagen protein, sea moss w/ vegan oat whip. It was delicious! And guess what? I didn't know that not all the items sold are featured on the main menu, which is physically displayed in the store. I found out about this shake because it was on the menu in the computer where I ordered from! I wish they told people this; that there are way more options shown on the computer. Also, if you go at a busy time, wait time is longer for orders, which makes sense. I do wish they had more comfortable chairs for seating. Additionally, I think that they need more seating outside. Parking is also limited nearby; hopefully you'll get lucky finding some nearby street parking.

Yelp
A true Arlington classic-- I have been going to various locations in Arlington/DC for 7 years. I always get the mango mania smoothie without bananas. The staff is always happy to modify the drink for me. I also got the avocado toast recently. It was simple but solid. It is always clean and simple indoors. Always consistent and good quality.

Yelp
Simply the best açaí bowl in the Northern Virginia area! South Block has become a Sunday morning staple for our household. All of their Açaí bowls are filled with high-quality fruits and ingredients. I love the ability to add plant-based as well as classic whey protein for an extra protein boost. They also have optional free honey, agave and chia seeds for you to add! My favorites are the green bowl (with Kale and Spinach) and added almond butter, and the Almond Butter Açaí bowl. The service is always exceptional and quick and the ambiance of the place lives up to the hype! Their materials are also recyclable with biodegradable utensils. Love South Block!

Yelp
Love south block, great smoothies and smoothie bowls, this location is nice with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a fridge to quickly grab orders placed ahead.

Yelp
South Block was wonderful! I particularly love the ambiance of the store - cute signage, clean feel, easy to read menu, and I like that you can see the food and drinks being made (always a good sign). I got a basic acai bowl, and found it to be the tiniest bit bitter for my tastes (I usually like it a bit sweeter), so I might play around and try some other flavors. Quality was great!

Fabiola R.

Yelp
The smoothies are delicious, but the service is terrible. You do place the order yourself which makes it easy, but there were like four employees no costumers and it took them 10 minutes to get to my order.

Yelp
Having spent significant time in Cali... these bowls are really good, I won't even lie! And since I've not been able to get back to SD for my fave bowls, these will curb my cravings til then. The avocado toast is so yummy and the PB&J bowl extravaganza (one with extra slab of PB) just floats my boat! I wish there was one closer to me as I have tried both the one in Pentagon City and Alexandria but I prefer PC, cause the staff seemed much nicer. And although I'm still trying to figure out an optimal parking situation I'll come here still. The place is fresh, bright, clean and new which will definitely keep me coming back! GET YOUR FIX HERE FOLKS, you won't be disappointed!!!

Yelp
I like this corner shop. It is easily accessible and you can just pop in and grab a drink to go or sit down and people watch as most of their seating is against the window. It may be creepy at first, but when you are escaping the beating sun and want to drink something ice cold, that is the least of your problems. You just want to cool off. The smoothies come out fresh like any other smoothie place and the ingredients do not seem completely processed. I do appreciate the speed of the service and I think its a good compromise. Would I come back? Yea, if I am I the area and since the summer temperatures are now sprouting up, I do see myself coming back. I think they renovated recently so it is clean inside. I would keep coming here to grab a quick drink while I walk around.

Yelp
It took several minutes after ordering for my smoothie and smoothie bowl order, but both were fresh and bright!

Yelp
My friend and I were walking through Clarendon and saw a few people carrying a green smoothie and knew we had to make a quick stop to South Block to satisfy the craving (not sure why it suddenly started, but whatever). This location made our smoothie pretty quickly (less than 3 minutes after ordering despite multiple orders). SUPER GREEN SMOOTHIE (16 OZ.) - 8 Very green looking smoothie for sure. You can kind of taste the kale, but we tasted mainly banana, which is probably how they get that smooth and creamy texture. I thought the smoothie was much too sweet (probably some added sugar?) but my friend enjoyed it and found it refreshing. Overall, tasty but pretty expensive for what it is. South Block smoothies aren't cheap (and not sure if it's all that healthy if it's that sweet), but they're delicious with seemingly fresh ingredients.

Yelp
I love South Block! The quality is super consistent amongst all of their Arlington stores. I love how customizable every bowl and smoothie on the menu is for customers. I almost always get an açaí base and it is incredibly filling! The fruit is always fresh and topped with a generous amount. It is pricey as smoothie bowl places tend to be, but the quality and size make the cost worth it in my opinion!

Yelp
yummu yummy yummy...i got something in my tummy.. So, i ordered the aqua bowl via uber eats delivery, and it was every bit fresh and tasty on arrival..and delivered in a brown paper bag with a tamper proof seal. bravo!! The aqua bowl consist of blended organic açaí, banana, and coconut water. The toppings include actual handmade granola, strawberries, blueberries, and shaved coconut. The entire bowl is vegan and gluten free, and is a good portion to split with someone if desired. Unfortunately, the additional $1 almond butter topping I requested, never made it into my bowl (which uber eats promptly refunded me), but the bowl was so delicious without it anyway. Overall, I highly recommend South block, especially with the occasional free delivery promos because its the perfect pick me up after along shift.

Yelp
I learned about this place from Uber Eats. Ordered a smoothie which I was skeptical about at first but can I say ...delicious! I ordered the caveman which has peanut butter chocolate and some other deliciousness. What I like is that you have so many options to customize it from sweeteners, proteins, supplements, and natural ingredients. They also have açaí bowls so if you want a smoothie in a bowl, you can get that too. I tried the caveman açaí...pretty much same ingredients and customizations as the actual smoothie but they put it on top of granola and it's not as blended as the smoothie. It was good and filling but I'm more of a smoothie girl. They don't take cash, as it's a completely "green" facility. They take Apple Pay, credit/debit or you can buy kale cash which is a "gift" card like payment. The actual venue is small but quaint. It's has a counter for seating. All in all, great smoothie.

Melvin A.

Yelp
Pretty decent selections of beverages and açaí bowls. First impression, service is good. Cashiers are ready to take on orders and acknowledge you right away! (: I enjoy this spot because it's you can literally " chill " while enjoying an açaí bowl and read a book. Pretty clean tables and chairs. Must visit.

Yelp
I love South Block and have always had an amazing experience at this location! I mostly utilize their app for ordering and I love that it tells me when my order is ready for pickup. They place the orders in a fridge to keep them nice and cold. I love the renovations that this location has recently undergone! The pick-up order fridge is now right by the door!! Before you would have to try and make your way through all of those waiting in the waiting area. It is much more convenient!! As for what to order, love the açaí bowls!! Absolutely! I like the mermaid bowl, aqua bowl, and warrior bowl. I have also tried so many of their smoothies: guava breeze, mango mania, and they used to have a blueberry one (bring it back!). I am a classic smoothie kind of lady and not a green smoothie kind of lady. So I can't comment on that, but it seems like a lot of people like their green smoothies here. Definitely stop by in the area! I will definitely be frequenting this location, for sure!

Yelp
Whooooose Block???? South Block!!! When that craving hits for the freshest açaí bowl around, this should be your first, last and only stop!!! Forget the line, you can order ahead via their app and walk in, picked up your prized possession out the fridge and be on your way!!!! The bowls never fail me, they are always so fresh and made with care, so yes the wait may be extended but all good things are worth the wait, right?? Stepped all the way out the box and got the Mermaid Bowl and it was fantastic!!!! The sliced coconut was so fresh, the granola is always a sure shot and the blueberries and strawberries where fresh and you could taste the pineapple and the mango that were mixed with the blue majik!!! I think I even tasted piece of banana in there too!!! The Nutella Bowl is a must for anyone who loves all things Nutella!!! You will not be disappointed!! The best thing is if you do not want all the toppings or want to add more they are flexible enough to work with you if you let them know. If bowls are not your thing the also have smoothies and some savory toasts to chose from as well. They do have a rewards program so if you are regular it pays off, just make sure you check in with your phone number each time when you pay. Oh, leave the cash at home because this is a cashless shop. There's not much indoor seating outside of a few stools that line the window but they do have a few tables outside when the weather is right. Best thing is, you can chose your block as they have several locations in addition to this lovely corner spot in Clarendon. No one and I mean no one does bowls like South Block!

Yelp
This place always has fast & friendly service, and a charming atmosphere! It also helps that the smoothies are great!

Melinda B.

Yelp
App never works properly and then the cashier couldn't get the order right, so waited 20mins with a hungry toddler. And they don't answer phone calls either, so yeah, great customer experience.

Yelp
First time visiting and I enjoyed every single second of it. The staffs really nice and the food is phenomenal. it's a yes for me!

Yelp
Whenever I'm in town, my best friend from college and I brunch on Sunday morning, except when she has to work early. This day was one of those days, so she picked up smoothies to-go for five of us instead. All of their smoothies sounded good, but the Tropi-Kale was right up my alley, so that's what I ordered. The smoothie was absolutely delicious, and I finished it in record time. It was super fresh and filling enough to hold me over until lunch a few hours later. I didn't get to go in and assess the ambiance or try anything else on the menu, but everyone loved their smoothie too. This will be my go-to smoothie spot when I'm in the DMV. I can't wait to try more of their creations and other locations. I recommend this location.

Yelp
So many great options to choose from at South Block! I went with the warrior açaí bowl and swapped the blueberries (I'm allergic) for coconut and it was delicious! I've had the frozen ones before from Trader Joe's or Wholefoods but having it made to order was definitely worth it. The bowl wasn't too sweet, so much flavor, and quite filling. I'm looking forward to trying another bowl my next visit!
google avatar

Diana N.

Yelp
Possibly the most consistent brand for acai bowls. I keep running away from South Block trying to find cheaper acai bowl options (they are pretty expensive to eat on the daily), but I keep coming back. Never once have I've gotten an acai bowl from them that had old fruit or an off taste and the presentation of the bowls are always on point. Even though the quality remains consistent, you will still catch me yelping any new acai bowl places opening up. Hey South Block, I like your stuff, but can you make it cheaper? I'm poor! Thank you.
google avatar

Yelp
I was working in a building that was a 5-minute walk from this South Block location, and wound up coming here several times over the course of 2 weeks. The bowls are delicious and really addictive! I loved the evolution bowl and the PB&J bowl. The açaí bowls usually took longer to come out than the evolution bowl, probably since the açaí is frozen and is harder to blend to the right consistency. The wait time tends to be longer during the morning and lunch rush hour, so I would recommend ordering online if you want it to be ready when you arrive. In addition, if you sign up online, you occasionally get $2 off coupons (I got one just a few days after I signed up, which was a nice surprise). Note that you have to order in-person to use the coupon code. There's free chia seeds, honey, and agave syrup that you can add to the bowls at will. In addition to the bowls, they sell smoothies and snacks (e.g. cookies, protein bars/balls, etc.). The store is small but charming; there's a bit of seating, but it's mostly a take-out place. All the staff I encountered were friendly, and they seemed to be pretty efficient, especially when the store got crowded. I found the bowls to be filling; I think the $11-$13 price tag seems steep at first, but since it's about 600 calories a bowl, these really are meals and not snacks, and $11-$13 for a meal isn't unusual in the DC metro area. The ingredients always looked and tasted fresh. I never had any issue with the size of the smoothie bowls, but for some reason, a couple times, my friend came out with bowls that didn't look filled up all the way, which isn't ideal for the price. I didn't try any of the wraps or snacks, but the bowls were absolutely delicious and I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again! This location is just a few minutes' walk from the Clarendon metro station.

Cheyney H.

Yelp
I had a great experience at this place! The staff was so friendly and helpful. This is my first time here and they helped me make an excellent choice! The smoothie was awesome and the service was even better.

M A.

Yelp
The best acai bowls in town and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I've been to other south blocks but this has the best workers who always go the extra mile make sure you're happy with your order.

Yelp
The ingredients are fresh, but I just don't see the value. $11 for an Acai Bowl just seems overpriced to me, but they have been in business for some time now, and they certainly cater to their audience. A lot of young professionals don't mind being ripped off if they know their getting healthy ingredients and it's a trendy place. Plenty of upscale luxury apartments in Clarendon, so South Block knows that people could pay for the premium product. I ordered the PBJ Bowl. It had organic acai, banana, peanut butter, blubbery, and almond milk blended. It is also topped with handmade granola, blueberries, and banana. If I return at some point, I am tempted to ask them if the bananas are regular chiquita bananas, or organic ones. Want to make sure they are not cutting any corners. Wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between handmade granola and machine made granola. Could you tell the difference? I'm guessing not. The PBJ Bowl was pretty good, but would have liked a little more peanut butter in it. I tasted more of the blueberries and bananas. Once in a blue moon, I could see myself treating myself to a bowl or smoothie here. Quality food, but just overpriced.
google avatar

Dani V.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my açaí bowl. I regularly get bowls from playa bowls and was in the area and decided to try this out. I loved the options. My only complaint was the granola was little too sticky for me. Because of the honey drizzle as well everything was sticking together in my teeth. Seems like a weird thing to complain about but the granola at playa bowls doesn't do that as bad. Just took away a little of the experience. Overall, I would recommend!
google avatar

MaryJean Z.

Yelp
Best açaí bowl I've ever had. I love about 2 blocks from this place and an addicted! Every single time I go I get the Nutella one. It's just really good açai they put enough Nutella so that you can taste it. The fruit is always fresh and it's always enough of it. It also comes with coconut shavings. It's just a really solid Breakfast.

Yelp
Great healthy food options. Everytime I'm in Arlington I have to stop here for acai bowls. The mini bowls are a great option if you don't want a huge bowl. My favorites include the mermaid, warrior and the dragon bowls. Love how South Block just stuffs these bowls with plenty of healthy ingredients. Price wise these bowls are fair with the amount of food that they give you. I'll definitely be back to try out different variations of the acai bowls
google avatar

Sarah K. P.

Yelp
I'd give it 3.6 if I could. Ordered online (bonus) for lunch and picked up three acai bowls to go since we were busy and didn't have time to eat there. Food was ready earlier than expected and o received txt msgs with updates as they were making it. I wanted to love this place and the acai bowls; Ive had stuff from here before and I really enjoyed their smoothies... but the acai bowl just didn't hit the mark for me. I got the pbandj and was disappointed by the lack of peanut butter and no jelly (although the ingredients don't list it... I just expected something jelly like with a name like PB&J) the peanut butter was almost non existent :( and it's definitely one of my favorite parts. I've had PB&J and other acai bowl places and have been absolutely blown away... this place just left me wanting more. I even added my own peanut butter and dark chocolate granola and it defiantly kicked up my bowl a notch and gave me the peanut butter fix I was craving. My wife got the evolution bowl and she said it was ok; she too was disappointed we didn't drive to our usual place in Fairfax; but south block was closer. As you already know... parking anywhere near Arlington can be an adventure in and upon itself; south block is no different but with the added perk of online ordering and two people; I was able to run in and grab the bowls while she waited in the car. If you're close and craving a healthy treat then you'd be ok swinging by here, but there are better places to get acai bowls.

Gloria F.

Yelp
The food is upstanding, the service is above and beyond, and The atmosphere is excellent because Ana, with her expansiveness and charisma, makes the atmosphere very welcoming and pleasant.

Yelp
I usually don't get around to reviews for like a week after I've eaten somewhere but wow. This place is so amazing. I ordered the beet hummus toast with hard boiled egg and the mini acai bowl. I literally scarfed down the acai bowl. It was the perfect amount and it wasn't too sweet, everything was great. I went for the mini because it had less calories and I just wanted to try their food but I was really surprised and excited. I'm excited to try the mermaid bowl because it looks like a dream and it seems really popular. I was mid eating the beet toast when I decided I had to stop and make my review. It was literally so good I was like "I NEED TO REVIEW THIS NOW." lol I'm so insanely impressed and I'm going to go here like everyday when I'm working from home. I usually eat at Sweetgreen everyday for lunch but I'm definitely converted. I just hope I can get "mini" versions of other bowls. Side Note: I went to the coffee shop next door (also owned by South Block) and it was excellent. Bryce helped me and he was really nice and knowledgeable about the coffee. Also, I was able to get an oat milk latte for under $5 which was a HUGE win in this area. Many places don't even offer oat milk as an option. So, huge shout out to Bryce and Coffee + Juice.

Yelp
This wasn't my intended target, but I ended up here and am now a fan. I was nearby for a skin care appointment and while waiting for my girlfriend afterwards I wondered into a slam packed busy South Block. I settled on a small Super Green + Ginger smoothie. It was smooth and gingery.. kinda like me. Seems a bit pricey. But, all the cool kids are doin' it man! Juice up today!
google avatar

Yatta B.

Yelp
Finally made my way here and I'm was truly pleased with my PBJ Bowl. Very filling as well!
google avatar

Layla L.

Yelp
Pricey but SO delish. I like the PBJ bowl and the Caveman bowl with PB added- they aren't too sweet and are refreshing. It's like having a smoothie with toppings. The girl next to me got the magic dragon bowl and she told me it was way too sweet.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
This is my go-to breakfast spot when I'm working in Clarendon. The folks here know me and a couple times have had my order ready because they saw me walking around the corner. What I love about the smoothies here is that they're not too sweet or too sour. I go with a PBJ bowl or smoothie with strawberries instead of bananas (I just don't want bananas), and if I get a bowl, I sub out the granola for a scoop of peanut butter on top. The reward program is generous, and the people are great. You should definitely stop in.
google avatar

Leticia W.

Yelp
The guava bowl is to die for!!! My boss orders from this place for us and the first time around I had the mermaid bowl which was good. The guava bowl I ordered the second time around and I liked it better than the mermaid bowl. Can't wait to try the others!

Yelp
South Block Juice Company is my kind of place....there is a "wholelotta" luv in what they do! For the Arlington/Clarendon area, this is one of my go to spots for a quick juice 'pick me up' when on the go. This place is also my back up plan for some mornings when I am running late...which is often....and don't have time to whip up a quick juice blend at home with the Nutribullet; to start the morning. South Block Juice Company is a ...micro-juicery that process their ready made juices in small batches. "Organic, Raw, and 100% Legit!"....is their claim and it is the truth! My experiences with their juices are that they are always fresh and taste great. All juices prepared are made in small batches which makes a huge difference in maintaining the key nutrients, freshness, and taste of their juice products. In addition to juices, they also serve some of the best blended smoothies and fruit bowls. A few of my favorites and honorable mentions are: * The Caveman Bowl -- A blended meal of: organic acai, caveman milk (house-made cashew milk) and bananas. Toppings: handmade granola, and dates. This bowl will make you feel good on the inside and really fulfilling. * PBJ Smoothie -- Organic acai, raw agave, peanut butter, bananas, blueberries, and almond milk. Very tasty; without the carb-sugar guilt. Overall, you cant go wrong with this place. Great selection of juices, sandwich/wraps and healthy food items. Although a bit pricey, you get what you pay for and a healthy product. I mean why skimp or cut corners on anything that's beneficial to your health. Last, South Block Juice Co. Top 3 Things to Know: 1. Fresh squeezed juices and several blends to choose from. The "Detox - Green Juice" you can't go wrong. Great tasting and sure to help you get your 5 servings of fruits & vegetables a day. 2. They offer up Gift Cards to share their gift of health with a friend or love one. Also, Belly points per visit...which add up quickly for free food and drinks. 3. Ask about their 3 day juice cleanse program! They provide a custom juice cleanse to get you ALL squeaky clean on the inside....outside too, when you think about it! : =)

Yelp
I've been kinda obsessed with acai bowls lately because (i) they are delicious, (ii) they are delicious (III) they are light but filling if you add protein and (iv) it allows me to try to fit in a vegan meal to fist pump the environment. This acai bowl was amazing because even after adding both kale and spinach and vegan protein, I still only tasted the berry flavor of the acai! They do have whey too if you want that option. The blueberry topping was so freakin fresh I swear they must have been picked by hand from someone in Maine that morning. I also love the extra chia seeds you can add for free! They opened at 9am Saturday morning and I was there at 9:04 and there was already a line. Lol. Very popular spot so if you are in a rush get there as soon as they open. The line does move pretty quick though.

Yelp
I have no idea why anyone would rate South Block with less than 5 stars. I've probably been here close to a million times and each time is consistent and delicious. For a light meal/heavier snack, I love the açaí bowls and their new mermaid bowl is super delicious. The fruit is always fresh (never frozen) and the "smoothie" part is always made to order. I also am addicted to the guava smoothie. It's super refreshing especially for a post workout drink. I highly recommend this place for a healthy meal or snack! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Sometimes you just want something fresh & filling & South Block nailed it! Ordered a pink dragon + a chocomole + an Evolution Bowl. The Evolution Bowl (base=almond milk, avocado, spinach, banana, peanut butter, maca powder, spirulina & toppings=cashews, gojis, mulberries, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, toasted coconut, strawberry, raw honey) was just what I was looking for. My advice would be to really stir up all the ingredients before eating it. So that you get all of the flavors in each bite as much as possible. It's about 2/3 base, 1/3 toppings. I def added the *free* chia seeds on top for extra crunch. You'll find them at the bar where they serve up bowls and drinks, next to the agave and honey. I really wanted a bowl that didn't have such a sweet base as most others I've tried. This was it. The base is not too loose, and almost savory, you really taste the peanut butter & banana. Avocado adds depth & extra creaminess. The chocomole (a play on guacamole due to the inclusion of avocado) was more like a chocolate mousse. It was dense and slightly airy, mildly gritty, very chocolatey and semi-sweet. If I had to rename it, I'd call it 'faux dark chocolate mousse'--although I realize that's not a clever or sexy name. Anywho, it's not that sweet but could curb dessert cravings if you like dark chocolate more than say, milk chocolate. Ingredients: avocado, banana, coconut oil, cacao powder, agave, Madagascar vanilla, pink Himalayan salt + toppings= hemp hearts & cacao nibs. My least fav was the pink dragon açaí smoothie. It was packed with organic pitaya/dragon fruit, coconut water, agave, strawberries and mango. The color is a beautiful fuchsia thanks to to dragon fruit. The flavor on the other hand is so light I couldn't really taste any of the fruits it included.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the area and want a treat, this is no doubt my go to place. Great and fast service, and amazing bowls (I recommend the Magic Dragon Bowl). If you're ever in the Clarendon area definitely give it a try!

Yelp
Highly recommend the warrior bowl. Taste like a strawberry banana smoothie with fruit toppings on it. I recently paid $11 for a regular size smoothie. It was called pineapple loco and added protein to it since I just got done working at at Golds gym. Friendly staff also! Dl the app to get points!

Yelp
I've gotten south block a lot. I love their chocolate peanut butter protein smoothies and sometimes I treat myself to an açaí bowl. Today I picked up a bowl through their online order and when I opened the bowl when I got home. There was a fly (alive) in my bowl that got trapped under the lid

Yelp
I love this place for açaí bowls, and I go after a workout if I've been particularly tired. This place has juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, along with a variety of other health conscious options. The thing I like about this place is its convenience - people mostly get their food within about 10 minutes, and if you want to skip a line, you can order on the app and pay with your app. Additionally, this place is cash-less as of 4/5/18, so be sure to bring a credit card! As for the açaí bowls, the warrior one is my favorite. Their granola is BOMB. Each one costs about $10-11, and I would say overall the menu ranges from $8-15. I've knocked off one star because I think it is slightly overpriced, but not much more than any other juice/health place. Definitely go for a treat yourself moment after yoga or a run! :)

Yelp
I've been to South Block at multiple locations, and I've always been a fan of their smoothies and açaí bowls. Not only do they allow you to modify preset menu combos, but they also let you make your own bowl if you choose. This time I tried a "not açaí bowl" which has a blended fruit base other than açaí. I got the Magic Dragon Bowl with a pitaya, coconut water, agave, mango, and strawberry base, which had granola, gogi berries, coconut and strawberries on top. It was just the right ratio of toppings to base, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order was prepared. I definitely want to come back to try another new item next time. I also noticed they offer rotating seasonal items on the menu, which is fun if you're looking to mix things up from your typical go-to's at a smoothie/açaí bowl shop.

Yelp
South Block is the best spot around for juice and açaí bowls! It's so great that when my family visited from out of town they wished they had a juice bar and learned to make things at home. Thanks for having amazing nutritious food that inspires us!!

Yelp
The smoothies are delicious, service is prompt, and very healthy options on the menu (no extra sugars, dairy based products, or fillers). I go in the evening after yoga and it is super empty. Definitely a go to spot on Clarendon for smoothies - I am eager to try their other locations now that I know it exists. I got the avocado peanut butter smoothie and it's the perfect post workout protein without being too heavy.
