"A forthcoming Southie restaurant that is related to Publico. It’ll serve “American classics and backyard cookout cuisine,” and the main attraction will be a wood-burning rotisserie smoker. There will also be “tableside wing service” and a cocktail that mixes rainbow sherbet with vodka. Projected opening: May 2018." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

The food here is amazing. The staff are also great. When getting delivery they are super fast. I highly recommend trying this place out. You wont be mad. Also, the prices are very reasonable

Pad Thai wasn't seasoned and stir fry was mainly just green peppers, but the rest of the food was delicious scallions pancakes ans sweet and sour chicken 👍

One word: DISGUSTING. Everything looked and tasted like starch mixed in soy sauce. The fried rice looks like jambalaya but that’s an insult to jambalaya. Soup was starch, vinegar and soy sauce. No salt. Only the vegetables were slightly edible after removing the gross sauce.

So I just ordered my food tonight at 12:25am. I spoke to the woman and ordered my food. Gave her my address. She mentioned my phone number besides my order referencing that I have ordered from there before. Long story short I waited and hour just for the delivery driver to call me multiple times and the "restaurant" to tell me that she misspelled the address that I gave her, which i spelled out more than once. And to tell me that they can't deliver my food because the diver doesn't go that far. I live on Jones hill and they like hanging up in people's face. Poor customer service. This is not my first time dealing with them on this matter. I stopped ordering from them 3 years ago. I have ordered from them 3 times in the past few months. I'm all set. They would never get my business again.

I've never ordered a delivery from here, but I've had good luck when ordering take-outs or eating in over past decade. They stay open fairly late, too. I like their beef lo mein & fried chicken wings. Great for what it is.

Minus 1 star. Even after reading the multiple negative reviews I still bought food here. I bought the appetizer combo with boneless spareribs-dried up shreds, chicken fingers-tasteless, chicken wings- feathery, still clucking, crab rangoon tasted burnt and pork fried rice. But hey at least the rice was edible. Never again! Go ahead, try it for yourself. I suggest you eat-in just in case you want your money back.

I've been to two events here. Both were in the back room with a buffet lunch. The building/restaurant appears to be brand new; everything is clean and beautiful. High ceilings, piano, beautiful bar area. Has a very sophisticated feel. They may be doing your typical Italian staples but they do them perfectly. The mozzarella tastes like it was made minutes ago. The bow tie pesto cream pasta was heaven. Their bread which is what started the Calandra's empire is fantastic; as expected. The cake for both parties was made by their bakery I was told. Perfect cake with the exception that it was missing the fresh fruit the second time around. I plan to come back and just have dinner in the restaurant one day. I also enjoyed their outdoor patio area this past time when the weather was warm. Great service, food and overall experience.
