The Spring 2018 Restaurant Opening Guide: MetroWest and Central and Western Massachusetts | Eater Boston

"The resort's food-hall concept that will house multiple vendors under one roof, including a pan-Asian noodle counter, a lobster-shack offering lobster rolls and clam chowder, a classic diner stall, a grill with healthier options, plus a wine-and-cheese bar and a gelato-and-espresso counter." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Sneak Peek at the Restaurants at the MGM Springfield | Eater Vegas

"I found that Hearth Grill in the South End Market will operate on a pay-by-the-pound model and serve rotisserie chicken, salads, and flatbreads." - Susan Stapleton

Macho tacos calamari tacos were amazing, the singapore noodles, cucumber salad and wings from wicked noodles were excellent as well. Good quality and quantity, the prices were totally reasonable for a casino too! I'd add photos but we ate it all 🤤

Jack's Seafood, located in the MGM Casino, is a great place to eat between your slot machine or table game wins. The South Side Market houses this eatery, along with, many other food concerns in the building. The seafood is fresh and , when fried, is only minimally oiled. There is enough variety to please most fish lovers, and at a great price. My favorite is the seafood platter, with scallops, shrimp, cod, and fries for $20... only $10, if over 50 years old, on Monday through Thursday. You may see the always friendly and helpful Alex.

Food court in the casino which was ideal given we were stopping for a quick meal on a road trip on Valentine's Day night so all the surrounding restaurants had long waits. There are very few vegan or vegetarian options, or rather I should say almost none. The taco place was ok not authentic at all with the chemical tasting sauces and cheeses but the staff were super friendly and kind.

Never seemed to recover since covid days. The salsa is like 2 tbs for the chips. The food is overpriced but tasty.

This place is abysmal. The lady at the Rewards desk told me I had 500.00 in comps. Yea? Well, because I can’t find anything worth eating in here. I had a 20 dollar voucher yesterday so I decided to try out South End again. Bad idea, again. Waited in line 20 minutes at Bill’s Diner to be told the soda was out, but the Manager guy was nice enough to point to another 12 person line that I could wait in to get my soda. I decided to go to the Taco joint and they had soda for 3.00, which was fine. But my soda was 6.00 for some reason, but at this point, just wanted to eat and get out. My burrito was missing items and just not very good at all. At least I was given some Texas Pete to cover it up. As always, people just waiting around looking confused and frustrated. This is both staff and guests. Last time I was there so many people waiting 15 minutes plus for their orders. Bald headed Manager type guy just texts on his phone and walks back and forth. Never helps anyone. Probably someone’s nephew. I actually got up to check on a guest. My customer service skills kicked in I couldn’t stand watching her wait. She was there for a work meeting and most likely was late. Customer service is just not a priority here. It’s truly bizarre to watch how poor their front and back of house operations are. I think they are really struggling to get people into the casino during the week. Here, come get some lousy food with poor service. Oh and by the way, we have nowhere for you to sit and we are completely unprepared. We will be out of product by 6:00 pm. Thanks, enjoy. Don’t forget to tip the homeless in the parking garage on the way out!

Nothing special. We went to Jacks Lobster Shack. New England clam chowder was good. Fish and chips was average.
