Yelp
South Fellini first had me when I saw their amazing pins in the shape of Toynbee Tiles and Wawa's signature bird logo with Jawn spelled out! But as Tony Trov and Johnny Zito grew their Philly centered fashion business they added even more epic pins and clothing dedicated to East Passyunk Ave's long lost weird store Queen of Jeans, loving pho, the Divine Lorraine Hotel, and then some. They've been killing it with online sales, but a brand like theirs was really in need of a store, so when I heard that they were getting ready to open up a flagship location on East Passyunk Ave, I was already to check it out and add some new t-shirts to my gym wear.
You can't miss South Fellini when you approach it on the avenue thanks to the mosaic signage that Isaiah Zagar created for them. If you're a lover of all things Philly pop culture than this is the store for you, and I realized it even more as I was choosing between shirts dedicated to Dr. J. Julius Erving, Arctic Splash, and Frank Rizzo's infamous crumb bum insult. But in the end I went with the aforementioned Queen of Jeans Shirt, and a t-shirt that paid homage to the Broad Street Bullies Notre Dame Fighting Irish Style.
With the crew adding new clothing, pins, and patches to their Philly centric brand, it's definitely worth keeping track of their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/southfellini/). Especially since they've even worked on things like a couple outside the box b horror movies.
