Living at South Front Apartments by Tribute Properties has reminded me that a community is defined not just by buildings and amenities, but by the integrity of the people who make it run. Recently, I unknowingly dropped my wallet while getting into my Jeep. Without hesitation, a maintenance staff member noticed it, picked it up, and returned it to the leasing office—cash and all—before I even realized it was missing. In a world where cynicism often comes easy, moments like these stand out. It wasn’t just the return of a wallet; it was the return of trust, a quiet affirmation that good character still thrives here. South Front isn’t only a place to live—it’s a place where people still look out for one another.

This is my forth summer at South Front1 apartments and I stay for the serene beauty and privacy my one bedroom up offers. The campus is very well landscaped with tall oaks and gorgeous white crepe Myrtle’s swaying in the breeze off the Cape Fear River. Best of all is the lovely swimming pool where a sense of community is always in the air from friends gathering for a dip, grilling up some good eats or just enjoying a good book on a warm afternoon. The garden on the roof above the pool is another sweet perk that everyone is welcome to. Nice place to watch the sunset on the river. Most importantly the kind people who work here exude confidence in all aspects of daily living.

I needed my A/C unit serviced on 6/16/25. Matt and Tim came to my apartment a very short time after request made. They were extremely nice and went above and beyond to help me out. Matt evaluated the A/C unit and swiftly fixed it. Plus, he then identified two other concerns within my apartment I had forgot to tell him about because I was focused on A/C unit. That's impressive! He and Tim fixed those issues as well. I have been living at SouthFront over a year now and cannot be happier! The campus is well kept, amenities so well thought out, maintenance team rocks and everyone so nice. I love living here! Thank you so much! Laurie Smith

I love this community. It’s one of the best complexes for young adults in Wilmington. I’m considering renting there, and was helped by Jalen. He was very professional, friendly, and offered me a move in special which was very generous. I would recommend making this your first stop when looking for an apartment in Wilmington.

Addison and Garrett have been amazing throughout the process of us moving here! Their generosity and kindness have been a big part of the reason we wanted to move here. Everything has been seemless and we have been so happy to go through this experience with them!

This is the best apartment complex in Wilmington. Lacey, Justin, Dave, Tim, and Jalen are INCREDIBLE <3 Customer service, maintenance, amenities, community, and location are all top notch. This should be your first (and only!) stop when looking for a home in Wilmington!

LOVE the team at South Front! I have been a resident since 2020 and they have taken the best care of the homes/residents. The amenities are nice and they are often upgrading things or throwing community events. Walking distance (maybe 20 min) to GLA and there are several small businesses right across the street.

Honestly this maintenance team rocks! I put in a work order and the next day I received a text message to coordinate the best time to fix the issues. Mat Lucena was the guy who specifically came to my apartment. His work was thorough and complete! Grateful for my unclogged tub & sink and my clean air filter.
