This South LA Cafe is located outside the Kaiser. It's so cute. Got the Black Mamba Tea & coffee cake... so yummy. This is just one of the few South LA cafe locations. I'm pretty sure the rest are just as good.

Got the iced horchata latte, and cheese danish. Employees were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. I like the latte since it’s sweet and not too bitter. The danish was amazing, a little sweet but still really good. A lot of good choices for coffee and pastries. I can’t wait to come back!

Great place to grab a coffee and a quick bite. Location it’s beautifully located inside of Kaiser Permanente with plenty of outdoors space. We love hot mocha, iced latte and cheese danish bread. Baldwin Hills I love you ❤️💪🏾

Their iced chai latte is amazing! I order mine with oatmilk and added one pump of vanilla, it’s sooo good! The staff is always really pleasant as well.

My first visit today and it was amazing. I had a Flat White and Old School Coffee Cake. Absolutely delicious 😋. Thank You for the memories. My morning was interesting. But stopping here on my way home. Definitely changed to a positive and productive day. Looking forward to my next visit💖.

Good coffee and pride is put into the product. Other than a fast drip, it may take a second but worth the wait.

All of the locations are clean, inviting and efficient and serve excellent food. Love this place.

I had coffee only. I wasn't too excited about the coffee blend. Tasted sourish? 🤔 Lots to like about this location, though. Staff was friendly, I was allowed to use my own mug, and the menu looked interesting. They have empanadas! Plenty of outdoor seating.

This is my first time to this location! It is so cute and peaceful. Hella outside seating and shade, didn't see any outlets? but ample parking in the lot. Menu is extensive and well priced. Baristas were kind and my americano was good and the breakfast sandwich was cool. I love that they partner with Homeboy Industries for their pastries! If you're in the area stop by

Got an empanada for $5.50 and it was a dry shell of air. Wish I could give it back. What did I expect for hospital food.

Love this place but the wait for two pastries is ridiculous. They need to hire more people service is the one star.

I hate having to leave this review. An injustice occurred today at the Crenshaw/king Kaiser location. Two of the south la workers were harassed this morning. A woman was bothered by the fact that the cashier said "we will be with you in a moment" and shut the window. She proceeded to complain say that that's not the way you treat costumers that's it's rude that she didn't care if the worker was going through something that's not the way to treat costumers and that the business is a black business and that it is black history month and she has the right to be treated right (I'm not sure how she wasn't) she continued to say that it's enough with the Latino community treating them bad that she didn't need a black business to do that. The workers were so professional and gave her information she needed to file her complain I've been coming to this location forever due to my job being 2 minutes away and when a worker tells me "we will be with you in a moment" and closes the window it means they would be with me in a moment. I just want to make sure that the owner reads this and has all the information

South LA Cafe literally blew me away! My mom has been going here with a friend of hers and she wanted me to try it for myself. First off, I love the whole aesthetic of the place. I love the white and black decor, mixed with different hues of greens and stainless steel appliances. Everything just looked clean and peaceful. I really enjoyed the photo op wall and the Nipsey painting, as well as the merchandise they sell on site. The tables were spaced perfectly apart from each other and I loved how they have signs on the table that you can flip to "dirty" when you are done to let others know it needs to be cleaned before reseating. The employees were very nice and efficient with taking our order. Now on to the food and drinks! My mom gets the avocado toast every time she goes and although I'm not a fan of avocado, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful it looked. The sourdough toast was cooked to perfection, the avocado spread looked fresh, and the friend egg on top was the perfect balance. Not to mention that you get two pieces of toast for $5!! I mean where else are you getting GOOD avocado toast for that cheap? Nowhere! So yes if you love avocado, then this is a must try. I had a cheese danish and one of their freezes, which was a coffee flavored frozen drink and I wasn't disappointed. The danish was so good warmed and the freeze was a nice treat on a warm day. I will definitely be back to try other flavors. All-in-all, South LA Cafe is a lowkey hidden gem in the city and a nice place to link up with friends or loved ones to talk about life over small bites and coffee! I love SLA cafe. Nice space to do a little work have a great cup of coffee. Hang out with the fam or make new friends. One little wish I have is to up the breakfast menu add more to what is there. In the meantime I gonna keep going.

Love love love the Horchata Latte, personalized with oat milk, 2 pumps vanilla, 2 pumps horchata, extra shot at South LA Cafe. I went back to get a second one within 10 minutes and doubled my old school coffee cake, added avocado toast (just $3 or 2 for $5), almond croissant, and a pound of their in-house roasted espresso. More than that, I love love love their mission in the community. They have continued their grocery give-away throughout Covid. They offer high quality products to our city. This second store is right on the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Hills Campus. You'll soon be enjoying them at the Hollywood Bowl too! I fully support @southlacafe COFFEE. COMMUNITY. CONNECTION

I had an unexpected surprise here at the Kaiser Permanente Martin Luther King, Jr campus. It was a HOT and I needed some refreshing. So I went to the South LA CAFE and had them make a cold brew with 2 pumps hazelnut some oatmilk, it was quite refreshing. While sitting the shade ran into this beautiful couple who were so wonderfully styled. I had to record them. I took one star off their rating because when I made the order the person did not stir the drink properly and all the good stuff with at the bottom and I almost missed it the yumminess.

Had to make a quick stop at Kaiser Permanente and was finally able to get a taste! I ordered the Horchata Latte with Oatmilk and a Croissant. The service was great, and the lady taking my order took the time to answer my questions about the drinks I had in mind. I chose the Horchata Latte just because it was different. I knew the taste of horchata and figured mixing that with espresso would be a nice, sweet pick me up on this rainy day. I must say that it was a nice experience! The strong taste of espresso was ever so sweetly complemented by the horchata syrup they added to the drink. I can truly understand the popularity, as this is like a warm cinnamon milk drink that happens to have some caffeine charge to it! The croissant was big and beautiful looking. It was warmed up, per my request, and nicely placed in a container to go. Though it was not as sweet and buttery as those that I usually have, it was still good. I honestly did not feel as guilty eating this one, like I do the other people's croissants, mainly because it was not as sweet and buttery tasting where you need to wipe your hands afterwards to make sure you do not get any grease stains on your clothes. Overall, this was a great experience, and there is a great chance that I will go back and not just when I have a doctor's appointment. From taking my order to the delivery of my items at the pickup window, the experience was positive, and the interactions were pleasant. On a side note, the prices are reasonable (compared to other big names coffee spots) and there is a squareup rewards system. Not sure what the point redemption options are, but I bet this place will allow you to stretch your dollars and cents a bit better without missing out on the goodness Java has to offer!

This couldn't have been more of a beautiful addition to the Kaiser Hospitals location. I seen it when it was trying to take off but not quite open yet. So it was a joy to visit Kaiser this afternoon and to see that it was up and running. I really enjoyed the customer service of the employees especially Jennifer. The area that this establishment is in, it can honestly challenge the patience of the employees that work there. I admired how Jennifer displayed extreme patients with one of the customers she was dealing with. People tend to be very snappy and annoyed and bring their problems to your establishment. But Jennifer was patient and accommodating. I decided to give their panadas a try and also their blended iced coffee. The panada was actually for my hubby. The iced coffee was terrific. I enjoyed the taste and it was very well blended. However, to my disappointment my husband had questions regarding the panada. I had explained to him that I had a choice between spinach, eggs and cheese or sausage, eggs and cheese. It still felt slightly early to us although the appointment was in the afternoon, so I figured, get him a panada in the breakfast category. When I explained to him that I went for the sausage egg and cheese he was a bit puzzled because his pinata was full of air. When he bit into it I took a look at it and I couldn't find ingredients. That was very disappointing seeing that it was quite pricey. I figured with the price the taste and portion should follow. So I hate to say this but I will not be purchasing another panada from that location. Regardless of the price and the air filled panadas I still felt the need to give this establishment four stars because the customer service, ice blended coffee was awesome and the location is very organized and clean. I feel with a couple of registered complaints, things can improve. All in all it's a nice addition to the area. I would definitely give it another try minus the panadas of course.

What a gem! South LA Cafe is located right in front of Kaiser, so you can use lots 1-3 to park. Perfect for a quick morning coffee run or mini break from work. The matcha latte was a bit watery, but all the others were unique and tasty. The lavender latte was sweet and flavorful, the horchata latte was a fun take on a classic, and I finished the chocolate freeze in a flash. Next time, I'm really looking forward to trying the pastries because they run out of some around noon.

Love everything about this place! Muffin was so yummy, and the latte was perfect. The staff was helpful and patient... the street parking is not ideal, so be patient.

If you want a review of their coffee...this is not the review for you. I came on a Wednesday morning because someone shared this new location on NextDoor. I've never been to the other location and was excited to have another option that opens at 7a. There aren't that many in this area. This is an outside location that is at the entrance of Kaiser Permanente. Enter that parking lot from Marlton or MLK, and you will see it. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and lavender, and it was devine! It was exactly what I needed. I did not try any of the quick bites because I had a taste for banana bread, and they didn't have any. All in all, I'm very glad to have them close by and their prices are very reasonable.

This is a great family/owned business. The coffee is good and there are lots of flavor options. I order the lavender latte. The coffee cake is great but they have many other pastry offerings as well. I frequent the one on Santa Rosalia outside of the Kaiser.

Coffee was delicious ! Coffee cake was really yummy! Really great customer service I always wanted to try this spot ever since coming to this Kaiser location and I never had the time Now, I'll want to keep all of my appointments here just for this coffee !

One of the best coffee place in LA. Cannot go without having a shot here for KaiserP. My fix flat white or cuppchino is $3.50! Way way better than $6.50 shots than elsewhere. Makes my hospital visit pleasant all the time.

First time eating Avocado Toast and it was great. The employees there are always very polite and friendly. Thanks to them for suggesting the So LA Freeze, it was delicious.

Excellent almond croissant. Very soft and fresh. Good flavor. Very good coffee. I had an iced latte. Excellent service. Lots of parking. Lots of outdoor seating under umbrellas. Highly recommend. Outside K.P. medical offices.

Staff was super friendly, patient and helpful. Service was fast. My mocha with oat milk tasted great and I loved all the available non-dairy milk options they have. Pricing is super reasonable too! We also got a jalapeño-cream cheese croissant and an almond croissant. Both super flavorful and absolutely delicious!! And although it was late in the afternoon, the pastry was still moist and not dried out like in many other cafés. If you're visiting Kaiser or are passing through the neighborhood- I definitely recommend stopping there. It is conveniently located right outside in-front the Kaiser building and next to the parking lot.

This is a small cafe located next to the Kaiser building! I ordered an oat milk latte and a chocolate croissant! I thought I went to heaven and came back. I'm a coffee drinker and this was one fantastic latte! The parking here is free so stop by, even if you don't have an appt to see a doc at Kaiser!

When I tell you that I've tried dirty chai's everywhere...I mean EVERYWHERE and this lil gem of a coffee chip has literally THEE BEST dirty chai I've ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind and the quality of their coffee and chai was the best, and great prices to boot. I will absolutely be back. Again and again lol. Thank you so much for this hidden gem...go support y'all!!

Little gem in front of Kaiser Baldwin Hills Medical Offices. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered an Iced Mocha Latte. It was very flavorful. Can taste the coffee and the chocolate, but it was not overly sweet. Enjoyed my coffee in the cool shaded tables next to the cafe. The have a large drink menu with different variations and varieties. The have a large pastry menu and even offer bagels, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and even empanadas! I wasn't hungry so I didn't try the food choices this time. The area is very clean with lots of shaded tables to sit at. Even if you are not a Kaiser member, you can still park in the large lot and still visit the cafe. Highly recommended.

10/10 recommend coming here!!! The menu is great, the customer service is peaceful and super helpful for first timers and if i'm going to be honest, I cannot get over how clean the establishment is!!! I literally had to tour the entire shop because their decor is out of this world.

The staff is always exceptionally friendly and I love their coffee cakes and coffee. I haven't had anything else yet, but I definitely recommend them.
