South Shore Smokehouse

10/10 - my husband and I stopped in for breakfast burritos after seeing them posted on Facebook. Absolutely delicious, the staff was so friendly and the environment inside is very welcoming! We each got the smokehouse burrito and they were absolutely out of this world. Can’t wait to come back and try more of what they have to offer. 🥰

First time here and Chad the owner was so friendly. We had the smash burger with egg and sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The food was plentiful and delicious. We will return in the near future.

It's so good I could smell the goodness of the mac n cheese before I even ate it 😋

Well I went to this restaurant during the Summer only to see a sign on the door stating they're only doing catering and will reopen in the Fall. I believe with it being Oct 29, 2025 we're now in the Fall season. I went there today hoping for a nice BBQ lunch but the door was locked and the same sign is on the door. I guess they mean Fall of 2026 I won't be returning that's for sure. I'll stick to 2 Jerks BBQ in Raynham it's never a guessing game with them.

South Shore Smokehouse (owner: Chad) is absolutely amazing & if I could rate more than 5 stars, I absolutey would. My husband & I started as regulars at Chad's restuarant, Lou Lou's, where he served amazing breakfast (RIP to Lou Lou's but that business has now pivoted to BBQ/catering) to following his food truck around to different breweries to Chad & his crew serving at our wedding on 9/22/23. Honestly, we're overdue for leaving a review. I could talk for way longer on how everything has been amazing but let me focus on the most recent/important to us: the wedding. Chad was very easy to work with as we were designing our menu for our wedding (3 passed apps + 2 meal buffet) & always came with helpful suggestions. He was up for whatever we wanted & was very excited to help us create a perfect menu for our special day. On the day of, Chad & his staff (Krystal & Pat) were so on top of their game with everything. They were on time/schedule for everthing & served delicious food that our guests couldn't stop gushing about. I would 100% recommend South Shore Smokehouse to anyone, from visiting a brewery while the food truck is there, to catering a small backyard BBQ, to a full blown wedding.

The beef brisket was excellent! No fat. The fries were good too. Not greasy and they had a nice seasoning on them.

We catered an anniversary party with trays from South Shore Smokehouse and all the guests were raving!! Communication was good, pick up was easy, the portion sizes listed on the menu were also spot on. We had some leftovers so everyone got plenty of food, but no so much that we are drowning in BBQ days later. Would definitely recommend and use again!! Thanks!

I'm honestly really disappointed to be writing this review. Going into my wedding I had a great impression of Chad and South shore smokehouse. All of our phone calls went great and I was sure this was a great pick. Chad assured me he was a Ritz Carlton trained chef and had plenty of allergy training and that is not what was delivered. When booking o had mentioned my biggest fear would be people not having something they could eat aty wedding, which is exactly what happened. Shortly before my ceremony started I noticed the caterers were nowhere to be found which put me into a full blown panic we ended up starting are ceremony late as our day of coordinator ran around trying to find them. I specifically chose our food because 2 of my bridesmaids are vegan and one has a dairy allergy. We had picked corn ribs and Chad checked The ingredients on the barbecue sauce on our call to be sure it was vegan, but the corn ribs he brought to the wedding were smothered in butter and honey. We had also said that we would do mashed potatoes for most of the guest and have a side of smashed potatoes with no dairy and those were not delivered. The asparagus was supposed to be cooked in olive oil so that everyone could eat it and it came covered in butter. That means three of my bridesmaids were unable to eat anything at my wedding. Our mains were barbecue chicken, steak tips, cedar plank, salmon and stuffed mushroom caps. Some of our guests came back to the buffet to get kids menu items after having the chicken because they said that it was inedible and they couldn't eat it. And all of our vegetarians who got the mushroom caps told us that they didn't end up eating them. We had multiple people who left our wedding to go get food elsewhere and I ended up not having my bridesmaids with me at the end of the night because they had to leave to get food. I reached out to South shore smokehouse afterwards and never received a response. I do feel as though I should have been reimbursed for the allergy meals we paid for that we did not receive. Chad was lovely and so is his staff when I spoke to them but the overall product that delivered was pretty upsetting. I will have to say the steak tips. Got a good review and I enjoyed my salmon. The corn ribs were good, just not what we had asked for and I did enjoy the scallop appetizers but at the end of the day what we were promised was not delivered
